We paid $6k for this couch 3 years ago. Told the sales rep we had 4 dogs and they said this was the toughest fabric they had and would stand up to our dogs. The stuffing material is garbage and has to be punched back into shape but still looks terrible. If you have pets that like to hang out with you on your couch, this is NOT the couch for you, especially for the money we spent on it. We regret it everyday and won't ever trust that if your buy something from Pottery Barn that it is high quality. High price does not mean high quality.

I love Pottery Barn’s beautiful high in relaxing quality furniture. I particularly love Pottery Barn’s relaxing style sofas. Pottery Barn selections is definitely my style, high quality, great atmosphere and exceptionally comfortable. I absolutely love the new location in The Virginia Beach Town Center. Be prepared to wait for your special delivery.

The customer service is deplorable. They lost a sale today. The sales person had the attitude I was wasting their time. When I told the General Manager, she did not seem at all concerned and didn’t even offer to assist.

Very nice atmosphere when you walk in. Everything was very Chic and modern. Some prices were great, some a little high. Good place to find ideas on how to decorate your place. Would come here when it's time for us.

Pottery Barn has all the beautiful designs! They have been the epitome of what I have dreamed of filling my home with, unfortunately it has by FAR the WORST customer service resolve. We bought the Sausalito 70” double vanity and we received the product three months later with a broken backsplash. They requested we send pictures of the damage, and we did. Weeks went by and they requested more pictures, so we sent them. They told us they would send us a new backsplash, so we went ahead and hooked up our vanity to plumbing. I have waited months and have spoken to several customer service personnel for some resolve. They eventually called to confirm we would be home for the delivery and to my surprise they sent an entire new vanity and wanted to pick up the old one which was already connected to plumbing, bc they said they’d send us the ONE broken piece of back splash. I refused the new sink but asked for the one part that I needed and they said “No, you need to contact Pottery Barn.” It’s been 3 months since we ordered this and I still have the broken piece and now they are only willing to credit me $300 store credit or $180 back to credit card. Mind you, this was a 4k piece of furniture! This has not been my only issue, unfortunately. We also purchased the King size Seadrift bed frame which has its own issues starting from our purchase date to damaged at delivery. No resolve and we have spent a LOT of money with them- NO MORE! Poorly made, easily destructible and TERRIBLE RESOLVE. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼!!!

I purchased a floor model table lamp and received excellent assistance from Toni with that and my other inquiries about the Rockport end table and coffee table. At checkout, that is where the problem began. At checkout there was a discrepancy as to whether or not the sales price included the lamp shade. While that was being sorted out, another associate that I have worked with in the past removed the harp from the lamp shade. I thought she was wrapping it, but I am not certain what she did with it. After it was decided how I would be charged for the lamp including the lamp shade, Toni bagged the lamp shade and went to the back to wrap my lamp. I paid for the lamp with the shade and leave. I get home and set up the lamp, look for the harp, and it is not in the bag with lamp shade nor attached to the lamp. What in the world can I do with a lamp shade with no harp. So, I called the store and explained that I was there about an hour ago and what happened. I spoke to AJ. He was quite helpful. He checked with his co-workers but no seemed to know what happened to the harp. I was asked repeatedly to check the bag and the lamp. Since the harp is the piece that allows you to connect the shade to the lamp and is metal, it would be easy to find if it is in the bag or attached to the lamp. Nonetheless, I triple checked the bag and there was no harp. I was placed on hold 4 times while AJ constantly asked about where my harp was. I told AJ about the associate that had taken the harp from shade. However, no one knows what happened to it, and the associate that had taken it from the shade had convenient amnesia as to not handling it. Really?!?! AJ told me that he would look for a harp and would call me back. He called back and left me a message. He claims he could not find a harp in the store, and that I could return the lamp. There were other harps in the store. Sadly, they did not want to damage out my lamp shade and give me a new one with a harp. That is fine. After the lack of willingness to just give me a harp, I will be returning the lamp and the lamp shade, and I will not make any future purchases from that store again.

I have shopped at Pottery Barn for many years and have a credit card with them so that I can earn the 10% back rewards program they offer. I have had many issues with this program but mostly recently was the worst. I purchased a rug in April 2022. I used $240 of “rewards” to pay a portion of the cost. Immediately after ordering I was told the rug is on back order. November 2022, the order was cancelled due to no more stock. I call to ask about reward portion of payment and told I would get merchandise credit. Fast forward to April 2023 after numerous calls and emails, multiple excuses and blaming others of why I haven’t received it I am finally dealing with a manager who seems to be able to resolve this. I am told a merchandise credit has been held up in some refund type department but is on the way. She even verified my address since it was going to be mailed to me. Now, May 2023 still no credit and more calls and e-mails. I get an email from manager I thought was resolving the issue stating that rewards went back to original certificate and hopefully I still have them and they did not expire or they would be invalid. Heck no I don’t still have them from a year ago and they did expire even before the rug was cancelled since they don’t last very long. This email did have the managers phone number and extension but unfortunately she has yet to answer my call. As much as it saddens me I am boycotting Pottery Barn.

If I could leave a no star I would. What a horrible experience. I feel like I got ripped off and scammed. Ordered 2 leather seats and a couch. Couch came defective, like I've seen with many other comments and reviews. After the 2nd defective one came we started the process of a refund. I want to shoot myself in the face after this experience. The fact that we were paying the payments on the Pottery Barn CC, its been 3 months of back and forth on the phone for at least an hour each time to get them to process the refund. Representatives are told a script that it will be any day to ok 3-5 business days, but you may need to call back....I will for sure be reporting to BBB, which I'm not sure what will do to help, other than warn other consumers to not shop there. Do not walk but run to another store for furniture. Not only is what's shown in the store not match what you get at home, but the return policy you might as well burn the money!!

Yelp
I love this store for all the latest trends and beautiful decors. I used to think they were pricey but when you compare them to other stores and designs, they are worth the price. I saw a chair and table (mix and match) on their website that I had questions on. Well lo and behold the items I wanted was right in the store! There's a lot of customization you can do to some of the furniture pieces, that's what makes it personal. The staff is great and offer free swatches and home design sessions. A great place for real quality pieces.

Yelp
Cute store. I love getting decor ideas from them. I managed to score. Ute glass pumpkin for $20. The frameless candles they have are so pricy along with a lot more of their items. But, sometimes you can find a little deal here and there along with clearance. This store had great staff who was helpful to all, even on the phone

Yelp
Our family has been huge supporters of Pottery Barn for over a decade. When my 15 year old son was born his entire room was outfitted with PB Kids which I'm not even sure exist these days. We have purchased numerous dishes, rugs, lamps and more and have been very satisfied with the quality. However, in recent years it's been poor floor service which had been an issue as to why we no longer shop them. The new building that opened July 2018 in Town Center is in a sparking new ridiculously gorgeous all first level glass corner. The location is has retail on the first and apartments above. It's stunning to view the showroom from the exterior sidewalk. I can't imagine at night what it must look like. Parking is free and has unlimited time by nearby garage. Surface parking is outside their door. Be cautious of street level time limits. Some are 30 minutes, other two hours. There is no way to describe how freaking incredible, trendy and modern the space is. Concrete floors, exposed ceilings and stunning natural lighting make it a winner. However, it's the amazing contents and sweet displays that will have your jaw drop. If you like soft and conservative colors you will be a fan. The store is large and has all the home items you can imagine including furniture. bedding, dishes, rugs, draperies and on and on. A 5 for the displays, they are breathtaking. I browsed the store for around 20 minutes and was never approached by either of the two sales associates on the floor until approaching the exit. Other customers browsed as well and I did not see they were being assisted. One associate was on the phone in the Design Studio. Upon preparation to exit an associate working on a Halloween display asked me if I needed help. She stopped what she was doing and was friendly. I want to say I will be back and bring my wife to look for items that we have been in need of. However, Pottery Barn needs to make sure the customer is the priority on entrance, not exit to the store. With a price point as high as this retailer customer service should always be paramount. 3.5, rounding up. The store is to die for.

Yelp
I love this store. Really. And the location. Plenty of parking either right out front or in the nearby garages. All free. Just make sure you are mindful of the signs - some is 30 minutes and some is two hours. And they are on top of monitoring. My husband got booted once while having dinner in this area. The reclaimed wood inside is beautiful and the all-glass exterior is lovely. You can walk between this store and the adjacent Williams-Sonoma via the back hallway by the bathrooms which is a neat touch since they're owned by the same parent company and compliment one another. I've visited twice now and I love this location as it's easy to make a day of shopping and there are plenty of food and coffee shops nearby. They have a large floor plan with tons of items in store so you can really see and touch before you buy. If they don't have it in store they'll order it for you with free shipping. I was quickly greeted by about three people and asked several times if we were doing ok or needed help. I did ask for help from an associate named Lauren who went out of her way to find answers to my questions. I'm a fan!

Yelp
Definitely the rudest and least helpful group of individuals in retail. It's unfortunate it took ten minutes for someone to actually greet me, say hello, and see if I needed help finding anything. This is the worst Pottery Barn location....and I've shopped many...Los Angeles, Chicago, New York. I suggest you take your business right down the block to West Elm where they are friendly and helpful.

Yelp
My review is not based on the Pottery Barn store but their online ordering and customer service. I ordered a potting station online, it was on sale (50% off) and I was told that my order would be delivered between August 2nd and August 16th. I checked my tracking on the site regularly but never saw that it was being sent. I sent an email, they said it is scheduled to be delivered by August 16th and they would look into it and get back to me. They didn't. On August 17th when I check my tracking, it now said that my station would be delivered between September 5th and September 23rd. When I checked online, they had the potting station on sale again but for only 20% off and it says "Order now for delivery Aug. 25 - Sept. 8 to ZIP code 23452". I wanted to know why a new order would be delivered soon than my order which was placed in July. After calling customer service, they said the item is on backorder. I asked about the the delivery advertisement and he told me its not accurate. Beware - Based on what happened to me, it appears they knowingly advertise false delivery date information. They also do not respond. I'm left wondering if since I purchased the item at a lower price than currently advertised, am I being placed on the "back burner" while those who purchase now and pay more are receiving their items first?

Yelp
Customer service is out of this world! I ordered a abalone shell Christmas tree online and it arrived damaged. They did not have it in store and were sold out online, so couldn't do an exchange. Toni went above and beyond to call another store to find one for me. It was shipped overnight from another state and she called me the next day to pick it up. The online sales price was honored plus an additional discount for inconvenience. I am a new customer to Pottery Barn and will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great service and they really personalize home design to your taste! If you're looking for design opinions, speak to Jeff!! He was a blast to work with, extremely patient, and listened to us every step of the way! He had great taste and an open mind, will be sure to keep you all posted with the finished product, but have no doubt it'll come out fantastic!
