An artists’ cooperative since 1978 in the Liberty Building, curated and staffed by the makers. Monthly First Friday shows and the adjacent Liberty Gallery make it an easy way to meet Spokane’s art community and take home something truly local.

A must visit local artists coop. The artists take turns to staff the shop; you can talk to them about their art. It is a great place for shopping for unique local items. The pottery, jewelry, cards, soap, paintings, wood work, fabric baskets so many things to browse and purchase. The prices are very reasonable. They make small adjustments to jewelry and can create a custom piece for you.

Yelp
Great little art co-op downtown. I stopped in to pick up a print I had purchased from a local artist and was impressed by all the amazing items in the store. Prints, pottery, baskets, woodwork, and a lot more. You could spend a bit of time in the store and come away with some unique, one of a kind local art pieces. Located just behind Aunties Bookstore, next to Barrister's tasting room. You could make a great local day perusing books, art, tasting local wine, and walking the park. I can't wait to go back for a longer browse and purchase an item or two for Mother's Day.

Yelp
This little co-op is amazing. It has a large variety of different artists for whatever your taste might be. They have jewelry makers, glass workers, painter, pretty much anything you can think of. The shop is run by the artists themselves, and they are some of the sweetest people. They are very knowledgeable about what is in the store and willing to talk to you about anything if you have any questions. It is all local artists, so it makes for great souvenirs for people coming in from out of town. Or even for locals who want something made locally to decorate their house. One of the really cool things is that each month they have an art show that showcases both artists in their gallery and others who are interested in participating. The work is always changing in both the gallery and the shows so you aren't walking in and seeing the same stuff every time. I find this particularly fun and cool because it gives you a reason to go back and just explore what they have and see new things. It's a small little galley that is located in the Liberty building, right where Auntie's Bookstore and Uncle's games is. It is completely worth checking out if you want to find something unique and original that will remind you of Spokane or the Pacific Northwest.

Yelp
Located in the historic Liberty Building in Spokane, Washington, Pottery Place Plus was founded in 1978 by a group of industrious potters looking for a way to market their pottery. Over time, the shop has evolved into an outlet for many different types of fine craft work, including metal, fibre, jewelry, candles, glass, and more. Since the shop is a cooperative and owned and operated by the artists, it has a very egalitarian feel to it. The beauty and creativity evident here at PPP is astounding. Even better: each month the Pottery Place Plus hosts various new guest artists. It is a great way to check out what some up-and-coming artisans are doing. A reception for the artists are on the First Friday of each month from 5pm to 9pm. This totally reminded me of the Lux Art Institute here in Encintas, CA. I was just wandering around the Riverfront Park area and happened to come upon Pottery Place Plus. I was fascinated to find out it is the oldest Cooperative of Potters & Craftspeople on the West Coast! Right next to Auntie's Bookstore, Pottery Place Plus is not to be missed. Prepare yourself to be charmed by all the wonderful and exceptional things they sell. The hand-crafted candles are divine and the jewelry is magnificent. PPP has a lot to offer and even though pottery still rules the roost here, there is so much more. 5 YELP STARS ALL THE WAY!

Yelp
Local Artist Co-op. Fun place to find locally made treasures. The artists themselves staff the store. I enjoy chatting them up when I'm in so I find out about what they have made and the story behind it. It is pretty rare to get such a cool window into the artist process!

Yelp
I have never left this artist co-op empty handed. Ever. A trip to Auntie's Bookstore inevitably leads us in here and that's never a bad thing. If you ever get stumped or uninspired with your holiday shopping I highly recommend perusing their selection of drawings and paintings, candles, jewelry, blown glass floats, wood work, and of course, the pottery. We have found many one of a kind gifts here. For the beautiful wares they produce, the prices are extremely affordable. They always have work from their standard people, but there's also always something new and interesting to discover. My favorite part is when you make a purchase they record which artist it went to. I feel much more connected to the source of my new treasure. I like to think it brightens the artist's day when they make a sale because a trip here usually makes my day a whole lot brighter too.

Yelp
Fantastic place to find truly unique handmade gifts in a range of prices that anyone can afford. If you're tired of seeing the same old same old at the big box stores, this is the shop for you. All their art & craft work is by artists and artisans who live in Spokane or at least in the Inland Northwest, so the money stays in the local economy. Top quality work, great location in the middle of town. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Pottery Place has the best collection of local art in Spokane and serves as a great complement to Auntie's Books, which is right next door and connected.
