I’ve enjoyed this place a few times for a convenient and somewhat wholesome (though mad salty) dinner. But this recent takeout container for chicken was super off-putting. Especially at the prices this place has….a little cup o’ chicken was disappointing and odd. Edit to add: I ordered the chicken combo plate.

I searched and in Google for Rotisserie chicken this place came up as one of the best in Manhattan. I am not sure who gave them this title but I order the chicken dinner that came with 2 side. Wow there was nothing good here chicken was dry. Macaroni and cheese was trash. Brussel sprouts was ok. Chicken was trash to. I won't be back.

Been wanting to try this out for a while, glad I did! It’s really good roasted chicken that so fresh and they give you au jus. They have potatoes cooked in chicken drippings that was incredible. It’s healthy food without trying and without sacrificing flavor. Def go here

Serious Concerns With Chicken Hot Sauce Degradation... What Happened? I’m a big fan of Poulet Sans Tete. Rotisserie chicken and sides are delicious. I order from here all the time and the deliveries are timely and reliable and the food is consistently high quality. Customer service is also great. My issue holding me back from 5 stars is the recent changes to the “Chicken Hot Sauce”. It used to be delicious and my favorite part of the meal... but the last 2 times I’ve ordered it’s tasted completely different and been bland. All in all, it just tastes bad. I’m wondering if anyone else has noticed this / if the recipe has been changed / if there have been personell changes to the kitchen staff where we may have lost a critical talent responsible for ensuring Chicken Hot Sauce quality was top notch. In short: - 5 stars if they go back to the old Chicken Hot Sauce recipe. - 4 stars because of my disappointment around the decline in Chicken Hot Sauce quality. - Looking for answers.

My favorite chicken of all time, but always had it delivered so thought I'd treat my parents to it for dinner one night. Didn't realize this isn't possible after looking at the website and Google listing showing an address and with dine-in checked. We showed up and were told there is no dine-in. The signage is understandably confusing (both Left Bank and Poulet Sans Tete displayed) so I would expect those inside to be used to people showing up confused, but they seemed flabbergasted when I asked if it was the chicken place. Then they tried to seat us saying that they had chicken on the menu. The whole experience was really odd and just want to give others a heads up that there is no dine-in.

I had a delivery order of wonderful French style rotisserie chicken from the UWS location. The chicken was juicy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. The spicing was heavy, but, delicious "herb de Provence". The crushed potatoes were also excellent. The cucumber salad was nice and fresh. I also liked the unique cheese on the Mac and cheese. Kale is not usually my favorite green vegetable, but their preparation was quite good, and not too bitter. The price was reasonable, packing was good, and delivery was quick. Overall, excellent rotisserie chicken, 5/5.

ordered 3 chickens and asked for them to be cut into eighths. picked up chicken and not only was it not cut, but it was coated in rosemary. so much rosemary that I had to wipe it off to make it edible. I will not be buying chicken there again.

They just opened a new one on the UWS on Amsterdam and 88th St. Delicious French grilled with herbs de Provence chicken crisp outside and moist inside. The bestest. Great selection of healthy side dishes. Brussels sprout, zucchini corn and basil is my fave. Your meal is not complete until you try their creamy ice cream swirl! Can't wait to go back. Welcome to the hood Chef Laurence and team.

So glad they are in the UWS. Great healthy options for either low carb, sugar free or gluten free. Amazingly flavorful rotisserie chicken with many healthy side dishes. Choice of two sides with chicken lunch or chicken dinner. Cute place to eat in or sidewalk seating. Top notch service too. If you are craving freshly cooked, seasoned food and there's only so many SweetGreen or Chopt meals you can consume, come here.

This restaurant is a ghost kitchen operating out of Left Bank. I called them because my delivery order was incorrect, but the woman who picked up the phone for Left Bank immediately hung up when I said I was calling about the delivery order. Very strange.

Poulet on point! Takeout/ delivery spot within the venerable Left Bank. I went for the Hill Country collabo Ate: Game of thrones breast with white sauce Tricolor salad Side of green sauce Total $20.69 Wow: absolutely delicious, darkly roasted chicken Can't wait to go back for more.

Food was very tasty. The half chicken was moist. The cauliflower was really good. I hate kale in most forms but needed something green in my meal and was pleasantly surprised how good it tasted. I can't remember which vegetable was a bit spicy but it was perfect, though unusual. It reminded me of whatever brings the heat to a common Chinese dish called MaPo tofu. I know...strange, but it really works. My only complaint and why it's 4 stars instead of 5 is I found almost everything a slight bit salty. Next time I order I'll hydrate well before to make sure it's not my physiology making it salty.

Ordered via Caviar to try for the first time after hearing great things. Long story short, Caviar never assigned a courier and Danielle at the restaurant called and kindly offered to deliver herself on her way home (which was not especially close). Not only great service, but the food was fantastic. Tried the rotisserie chicken, cauliflower, Mac n cheese, and couscous salad - all flavorful and high quality. Will definitely be ordering again and suggest ordering direct from them if you're in their delivery zone. Support local.

3.5 stars... The chicken take out/delivery service of mother restaurant "Left Bank", we decided to give it a go by ordering via Caviar. The chicken was larger than almost all we normally order and the taste was there, BUT... (wait for it) ... it was massively overcooked. Like crumbly breast meat overcooked. That said, we would try them again. They're new so hopefully they'll get their act straight soon. And if the sides are any indication (potatoes, soup, Brussels sprouts, etc.), this place has a ton of potential. Just gotta take those birds off the rotisserie a few minutes (half hours) earlier.

Excellent chicken! The sides are terrific too. Great to eat at their counter seating or take out.

Ce délicieux poulet mérite une review en français: bravo pour l'essentiel, nous sommes des réguliers, mais pas bravo pour un détail choquant: la sauce payante! Vraiment??? C'est une tout simplement une question de principe. Quel que soit le montant, 30 cents, 30 dollars ou 3 dollars, c'est du pareil au même! Allons, encore un effort et vous serez bons cuisiniers!

I love this place. Very juicy chicken and great sides. We always order the chicken and the Brussels sprouts and potatoes. Never disappointing in terms of quality.

This rotisserie chicken is the best damn chicken I've had in all of the city. Moist, bursting with a complexity of flavor that I would expect from fine dining, and cooked to perfection. Can't believe it was this tasty (and priced nicely).

This is the absolute best chicken I have ever had. Top quality and unbelievable flavor. Very friendly owners. I was a regular customer on an almost weekly basis until Caviar stopped delivering in my area (Midtown East).

I love rotisserie chicken and I live on the same block as this place. I always wanted to try it and in these days of the corona virus, it seemed like the perfect moment. Unfortunately my $30 half chicken with potatoes was so salty, I had no choice but to dump it. Someone in the kitchen needs to throw away the salt! Would never recommend it or return.

Everyone's taste is different, but my wife and I found everything we tried (rotisserie chicken, meyer lemon sauce, chicken jus sause, mac & cheese, brussels sprouts and kale to be much too salty for our taste. We won't order again.

During quarantine this has become our reliable pickup place. The whole chicken is great -- deliciously spiced and juicy (and large -- we always have a lot of leftovers relative to normal rotisserie chicken). Fries are also delicious and pickup is friendly and efficient.

This is a fantastic resource under all circumstances but is particularly helpful during the Coronatine. We have had food delivered several times over the past few weeks. Why? Because it is THAT GOOD! Actually it's way better than GOOD! We love the rotisserie chicken, mac&cheese, kale, potatoes, salad, chocolate mousse and the BEST ITEM -- their SOUP!!! Holy cow!!! Their chicken soup is so unbelievably delicious!! WOW!! Trust us, you will LOVE it!! Hope they can stay healthy and open throughout this crisis. We feel lucky and grateful to have this wonderful food especially right now!

Random stop during a leisurely walk in the West Village. It was the best find ever! We ordered the brussel sprouts salad, fries and the chicken sandwich. Everything was freshly made using high quality ingredients...and you can taste it. The chicken sandwich was incredible! Best I have ever had and even though I was full by the time half the sandwich was eaten, I finished the remaining half by the end of the evening only because it was just that good...not because I was hungry again. I'm already planning my next visit...

Yay! A great rotisserie chicken spot that I can pick up on my way home. I tried the two other chicken places in the village and they were not great but Poulet Sans Tete was so great!! I love that you can pay a little extra to have them take the bones out. The chicken is nice and moist and I like the herbs and spices.

All I can say is wow. Best rotisserie chicken I have ever had. Got a platter with chicken, chicken soup, potatoes and homeade hot sauce. Blew me away. Chicken is perfectfly seasoned. Soup is incredibly delcious. Hot sauce flavorful. Potatos are yum. Well worth the price for the platter ($25 including tax)

This may be our new weeknight go-to! We ordered a whole chicken (they will take it off the bone for you) with Meyer Lemon sauce, brussels sprouts, and macaroni. Everything was delicious and much healthier than many other delivery options. This is the food I wish I had time to cook during a busy week, but delivered right to my door.

The chicken is absolutely delicious and I would love to give it 5 stars, except that the second time we ordered from there my husband and I got food poisoning! Uhhhh. I don't want to think about chicken ever again.
