The best one we’ve been in Paris so far! The combination of ingredients was really good. The starters were special, they had Saint Jacque which was top top and also a beef tartare which just melted in your mouth. Great value for money! 5 starters, 1 main, cheese and 2 sweets. The serving I would improve a bit as we were lacking more details - but thumbs up to the nice person in the front/at the bar. We did rate the atmosphere low, as we were put to sit in the street area - and we were alone. It felt weird as the back of the restaurant was more lively with everyone there. Overall, I can understand why this is in the Michelin Guide, well deserved.

Many thanks! My food was fresh, had marvelous flavor, and was presented with care. The chef even checked to make certain the tomatoes in my lunch were perfect. The kind attention from both the serving staff and chef made my visit so happy, in addition to the beautiful restaurant surroundings. I enjoyed lingering here and savoring my peaceful meal. I'm so glad I chose Cafe de Luce.

Really delicious food… 🙏I want to go again… We came in Paris for honeymoon, but we fought and couldn't eat much, so I regret it…. 😭The food was really delicious. I will definitely visit again next year

I wish I could give it a 6 stars for service. The overall experience was great, from the food executed admirably down to the tiniest detail, through great background music and cosy setting, all the way through a staff both professional and very friendly. The manager in particular is a blessing, she makes you immediately feel at ease and is highly knowledgeable of everything the restaurant has to offer, down to food details to drinks and various options for pairing. They were very accommodating to specific requests we had and made us feel welcome through and through. Will definitely go again for a nice opportunity to celebrate something, anything ;)

12/24 - The food was so good last time we had to come back to try the Sunday lazy chicken meal. It was a huge success. Again, we were greeted by smiling faces and treated like family throughout the meal. We started with a glass of wine, a glass of beer and fresh bread with olive oil. Then, delicious entrees including carrots, celery soup and a type of beef tartare. From there, we enjoyed delicious roasted chicken with mushrooms, artichokes and gravy. The side salad and heavenly buttery mashed potatoes rounded out the plat. Dessert was an apple dish, along with Chef's signature cake. Everything was sublime and we will surely be back again and again! 😉♥️🫵🏼💪🏼🥂 12/23 - Had a great meal with fun and helpful service and delicious libations. Vegetables shine brightly here, but my sea bass was fantastic, too. Highly recommended for fresh and innovative food and good times! 🙏🏼✌🏼💪🏼🍻🥃

Really cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant. Three of us got the weekday lunch menu, and the starters were so cute - foie, melon & ham, a cold soup and the tartare as our main was wonderful! Great selection of wines from France and elsewhere. The ambiance is great, service is friendly and the place is full of light if you manage to get the coveted window seats. Lovely meal!

We elected to come here due to the promising reviews on other platforms. Unfortunately we were left pretty disappointed. Despite there being ample space available in nicer tables in the front of the restaurant, we were seated in the back corner near the toilets. It took some time of discussion with the staff to finally give us a nice table in the front. It was easier to discuss in French and the owner kindly brought us to the nicer table. We had the "secret" tasting menu of 5 starters, 1 meat or fish dish, 1 cheese, and 1 dessert. From other reviews, we were expecting some nice starters. But on this evenings menu was only cold vegetable dishes - carrots, haricot verts, sardine pate. Not to our palette, we didn't really enjoy any of those dishes. One thing that stood out was that after these dishes our cutlery was covered in the dips and the servers didn't want to change them. They wanted us to continue using them for the next courses and only when asked did they change them. Felt like a strange practice given the price point, which wasn't cheap at 65€ per person. Then came some razor clams and hot zucchini soup. Razor clams are difficult to cook and can quickly become tough if overcooked - which they were. The zucchini soup was very good though. The entree options were veal or white fish. Most of my family took the veal and I had the fish. Both were fine/okay, but nothing memorable. Dessert was some chocolate pudding - which was pretty sweet and good. All in all, not a great experience vis-à-vis service or food.

had the workday lunch menu, tasty food, natural style without over seasoning. I particularly loved the 3 small dishes of appetizer! Very good price performance ratio
