Today was a beautiful day at downtown California adventure. We went to go get some corn with the spicy stuff on it after getting the corn we decided that we wanted some chicken and some more corn to share between the three of us when going back up to order, we sent one person while the other to save the seat upon her going up to order Karina or Katrina and Alex were very rude and condescending and saying oh wasn’t she just appear very rude and insinuating And not willing to help out not the experience that anybody wants to have when they’re down at Disneyland or California adventure the cast member should be more aware of how they treat the guests and they can feel warm and welcoming. They should be happy that people ordered more, because the first order was so good they wanted to share amongst the rest of their friends, isn’t that what Disneyland is all about I have to say I’m a little disappointed that there isn’t any nutritional value menu on any of the food so you could see what’s in them and whether or not it has some thing that you might be allergic to 10 out of 10 totally recommend the chicken The corn whether it’s buttered or has the spicy stuff it’s all premade so you can’t have anything custom-made and you can’t return anything and that Fanta mysterious flavor yeah it’s mysterious all right don’t try it it’s not good it turns your teeth black and your lips, and I don’t even know how to describe the taste, except for maybe like Coke with some grapefruit soda. It’s not good to save your five or six dollars as long as Katrina or Karina and Alex are serving you you should definitely stop by 10 out of 10 totally recommend the chicken in the corn but not the Fanta

The architect of this restaurant is so adorable and lovely. There are only three items you can select to eat here. The chicken isn’t impressive the slaw doesn’t help it one bit. Poultry Palace should add buttermilk biscuits to the menu and buffalo sauce. The chicken exterior is dry and breaded. You’re better off dinning at Plaza Inn over at Disneyland. I would not come back here again. Also don’t expect a free collectible toy in your box. Cast members are always on top of there job. Showing so much etiquette and a smile on their faces. p.s df

Google
The chicken drumstick box had some of the juiciest chicken I’ve ever had. The chicken is easily one of the better eats in the park. The coleslaw side was pretty average though.

Kero Chan

Google
The chicken drumsticks tasted nice together with the sweet chili sauce. A side salad was complementary which tasted fresh.

Google
Some of the best tasting protein in the park. Love the meat maces. The coleslaw is flavorless and a bit dry.

Google
The outside is so cute but the Chimichanga is the worst! It's literally bread and beans nothing else (at least not that i could taste) and i cut it in half to make sure the other ingredients didn't just move around

Google
listened to alpharads word and got these oh LORD these are so good. they leave you feeling full, are pretty juicy, and are cheap.

Whenever me and my bf visit CA Adventure, this place always has been our foodie check list to accomplish. We always get their drumstick. Last time, we went their for late lunch and it was sold out. I had to wait for dinner time.I also love the vendor's external design and it looks same as the drumstick package! So cute! The drumstick is not too fancy itself but we love their spicy and sweet sauce! The coleslaw is whatever btw...

Yelp
Not bad! My husband and I have always wanted to try Poultry Palace and finally got around to trying it during Halloween time. We ordered the Chipotle Chicken Drumstick box (seasonal). The food came with ranch, coleslaw, and 3 big drumsticks. The box it was packed in was so cute! Now don't come here expecting crunchy fried chicken. I agree with a reviewer below that mentioned that it's more reminiscent of a shake and bake style chicken. The chicken itself is not greasy and feels much lighter than traditional fried chicken. It has very little crunchy coating on the outside. The chicken though was juicy! Overall, I enjoyed the flavor as the chipotle flavor really packed some heat. I do think my review would be much lower for the original flavor as I feel like it would be a bit bland. The coleslaw was overdressed and both too vinegary and sweet for my taste. But really liked the spice level and flavor of the seasonal chipotle chicken! If you're looking for protein and something not too heavy, this is a good go to! But if you're looking for delicious flavor and something more memorable, I'd try somewhere else :)

Yelp
They had me at $12.99 a turkey leg! I haven't seen prices like that for a turkey leg for some time now. Leg was juicy and decent, wasn't much customer service interaction, she seemed over it. But that's ok! I got a turkey leg for $12.99! Wish they had condiment options or if they did, I would like it to be displayed or at least offered. It's inside California Adventure Park.

Yelp
I LOVE CORNNN HERE! I always get a corn and wait in line for Toy Story mania ride! Time goes by so fast. They have spice chili corn and regular.
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
I'm not a fan of turkey legs at all in any way whatsoever, but my friend's family loves them and didn't even know it was possible to get them at DCA until I let them know about Poultry Palace. It does take some time to pick up the food from here (we finished a round on the carousel nearby before my friend was able to get her turkey legs), but they come VERY WELL PACKAGED. I mean they were super wrapped in tinfoil and wrapping paper and we placed them in our Ziploc bags that we brought and there was no leakage whatsoever. They did not wrap them to this level over in Disneyland so that was pretty neat to say the least. As for taste, I heard it's all the same.
google avatar

Frank M.

Yelp
This is some of the best chicken in the park. It is so easily accessible and more affordable than some of the other options.
google avatar

Randy L.

Yelp
3 Drumsticks?!!!! Best free-standing "vendor" type food in DLR. Best deal in DCA. The chicken drumsticks are large in size .... ALL of them (been there 3 times), EVERY time. Best value at $10.99 while the Turkey Leg is $12.99. IMHO, ONE order of the drumsticks will definitely fill-up any person or a set of children under 7. Located on Pixar Pier directly across from the Merry-Go-Round with Incredicoster launch viewing area right next to it, this Palace is the perfect place to pick up the perfect chicken (yes, even better than the fried chicken dinner at Flo's & Plaza Inn). Service is quick and easy. The Cast Members/CM are friendly and helpful. The area surrounding the Palace is roomy while it is definitely built like a palace on Pixar Pier. HIGHLY recommended for a quick and very filling meal, just wish they had tables to sit down and enjoy it.

Yelp
This was the best bargain in the parks for a quality, tasty and healthier option. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken box which came with three large drumsticks, two dipping sauces and a delicious vinegar based slaw. We'll definitely be returning here for more in park meals.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a good value. 3 chicken legs for $12 is not bad for Disneyland! They have a huge turkey leg also. Great value for the park. The Cole slaw is fresh and good, and it comes with the chicken. And the corn on the cob is good too! Service was pretty good. I just like the appeal of this place, the design is fun and eye catching. It's cute and unique. The wrapping is different too. I like everything about the design and style. I just don't like that there's no toy/ collectible included in the meals lolol
google avatar

Emil C.

Yelp
I really love the theming of this food stand. It's located across from the Toy Story Midway Mania. The items that they sell here will vary from time to time. Permanent items on their menu are the chicken drumstick box and corn of the cob. They'll also sell turkey legs and chimichangas. The prices here are pretty standard for Disneyland. It's one of my go to spots to grab something quick to eat.
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
Poultry Palace is one of the few places that have turkey legs in CAA. Located in the Pixar Pier next to Toy Story Mania. They have a small menu. They do run out of the turkey leg later in the day. Turkey Leg - $12.99 - Well smoked. Huge leg. Meat was tender and cooked nicely. Travels home well also!
google avatar

Ryan L.

Yelp
Love this place! One of the only spots that have the chimichanga I love. They also have Coke Zero which is a plus being a lot of the smaller places don't!!
google avatar

Andrew L.

Yelp
If you're looking for a good quick service chicken meal Poultry Palace is a must-eat imo. It's not fried chicken like Plaza Inn's but more like a "shake & bake" style of chicken. Tastes great and comes in a sweet Poultry Palace box. Enjoying a great chicken meal on Pixar Pier. Sounds like a great time.
google avatar

Wesley W.

Yelp
Poultry Palace is a small wagon kiosk in DCA across from the pier game concessions. The spice rub on the fried chicken drumsticks is identical to the the chicken served at Lamplight Restaurant on the wharf. The taste of the spice rub is unique. I believe it is a fairly new flavor for the fried chicken. I can understand that some people may not like the taste of the spice, but fortunately, I find the taste of the rub very flavorful. The drumsticks were very large and cooked to perfection. The drumsticks were tender and juicy. It comes with coleslaw. The slaw was average at best. It is the drumsticks that takes the prize. Give Poultry Palace a try. You might discover another hidden fast grab and go eatery that you can go to in DCA.
google avatar

Diele K.

Yelp
My parents tried this location on a recent Disneyland trip, and said while I was there that it was definitely some of the worst fried chicken they've had. My mom compared it to fried chicken you get in a grocery store deli that isn't very good. This is a location without mobile order/pay, so they even had to wait in line for this. Definitely haven't been back nor would I recommend this to anyone.
google avatar

Keilab A.

Yelp
This place is always poppin and I've seen Disney food reviewers say great things about this spot. We got the 3 drumstick box that came with coleslaw and sauces. The drumsticks had a good amount of meat on them, but I honestly thought they were lacking in flavor. Don't expect very crispy skin, as the chicken seems like it was lightly breaded and flash fried. I do think the box and stand is cute, but won't be returning for the chicken.
google avatar

Wan L.

Yelp
Located across from The Incredicoaster. The stand has delicious snack items! The chicken drumstick box ($10.99) and the chimichanga ($6.99) are good! The chicken drumstick box comes with 3 legs, pickled slaw and barbecue sauce. The chicken was lightly seasoned. I suggest cutting into the chicken first because I took a bite and it was pink! They gave us another drum and it wasn't as pink but still pinkish. Is it supposed to be like that? Hmmm, luckily no-one got sick! The chimichanga is a good size and stuffed with ground beef and beans. It's quite filling. It's greasy but tasty! They also have turkey legs, corn on the cob, chips and drinks. There's a nice little seating area next to the stand with the perfect view of the pier.
google avatar

Yelp
I was at CA Adventure this past weekend and seriously the first hour or so all I did was eat. I got a snack from this place later in the day and I got the 3 chicken legs box. While tasty, the seasoning could have been a lot stronger. I've had more flavored fried chicken from KFC and the hot deli at Ralphs. I would order it again cause at least it is protein/keto. It came with cole slaw which I didn't like. I also chose BBQ sauce as my side sauce, but didn't use it. A great place to sit right next to it that faces the water.
google avatar

Krysten I.

Yelp
The chicken from poultry palace is great! It's a little walk up stand across from toy story mania. I believe they also have turkey legs. I think this is an underrated place to get food. Just my humble opinion though! I love that the Cole slaw is Mayo less and that I can also get corn here. There was quite a bit of a line on the day I was at Pixar pier in the afternoon. I came the next day in the morning and the line was much smaller, so I decided to try it out. A box of three drumsticks and little container of slaw was $10. Not bad. The chicken was well flavored and sooooo juicy. It's not like breaded fried chicken. It's kind of like a dry rub. The skin is still pretty crunchy though. Anyway... the juice dribbled down my hands and onto my shoes, so beware! Get lots of napkins! My friend got corn here, which is available in other places, too. We sat on a little bench on the pier and enjoyed our little respite.
google avatar

Jerry W.

Yelp
This is the only place I saw at California Adventure that have the Smoked Turkey leg. I have never had a bad one. Perfectly smoked snd juicy... just so dang messy to eat and share.
google avatar

Kathy

Yelp
This place was another great quick stop around the pixar area! The chicken was good but nothing unique and that's what it was lacking! More of a design or theme and it couldn't hurt if it had a pop in flavor! I think this place would be good for children because it is simple and easy for picky eaters!
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
The Poultry Palace was a godsend today. Protein filled turkey leg with delicious smoky flavor. The size is huge as you can see in the picture. Photo has the turkey leg wrapped to keep warm. It's a little hard to eat but still worth the battle. It keeps you filled up for hours and you get your moneys worth. It was a treat to enjoy and Bette than a typical hot dog or burger. Get a variety instead of the same ole thing and you won't regret.
google avatar

Rob M.

Yelp
Dry, bland and they can do much better. Been wanting to try for years and last week was it. Very disappointing and actually we threw half of it in trash due to it being dry and unappetizing along with the dripping packaging.
google avatar

Nancy M.

Yelp
A small stand just outside Toy Story Mania. On a hot day it was wonderful to be able to grab a cold drink. Of course the prices are insane but what should one expect?
google avatar

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
Tasty chicken drumsticks similar to Shake n bake style and the coleslaw is good and light considering I usually hate coleslaw. They also conveniently sell other Turkey legs and chimichangas if you're craving those instead.

Lego Is M.

Yelp
I liked the chicken, I am not a big fan of chicken, it was slightly above average chicken, but I don't like drum sticks, ( I find I waste a lot of it, by not eating around the bone. One complaint is that the store said comes with " free toy" and I wanted that as a souvenir, but it was just for decoration, but it should have said " not actual toy"
google avatar

Joseph T.

Yelp
Chicken taste great once it comes out and is fresh. But eat it quick. Once it gets cold is doesn't taste as good and the seasoning start to taste really strong. The turkey leg I got this time didn't taste as good as I remember, but glad they gave me BBQ and sweat & sour sauce to kick it up a bit. Probably won't be back since there are a lot more options for food out there and just didn't enjoy my meal as much as I would have hoped
google avatar

Andrew F.

Yelp
The chicken drumstick box had some of the juiciest chicken I've ever had. The chicken is easily one of the better eats in the park. The coleslaw side was pretty average though.
google avatar

Brianne L.

Yelp
This place surprised me! I ventured to Pixar Pier to check out the sites and sounds and had this place in mind for a mid-morning snack- Good news this place opens with the park! I ordered the drumstick and coleslaw combo meal. it is served in a cute little carry out box with the chicken and slaw inside. The slaw is served in a sealed little tub (reference photo for details). The interesting thing about these chickens is their seasoning. They are seasoned differently than other chicken in the resort, but they are still very good. I would pick them up again. Overall, if you are on the pier and want some easy to eat chicken, this is your place!
google avatar

Wina G.

Yelp
One of the best deals in the parks! For $11 you get 3 chicken drumsticks done Shake'n Bake style and a small container of slaw. Also included is 2 containers of Sweet Baby Rays sauce- one spicy and one regular. Surprisingly the chicken was moist and not dry. I've had pretty dry chicken in the parks but this wasn't the case. The coleslaw was nicely pickled, no mayo. Some would find it too pickle-ly but I liked it. The seasoning was nice- added taste. If you wanted something other than chicken, there's also turkey legs, chimichangas and corn. I think this may be my go to snack place from now on. It's located on Pixar Pier across from Toy Story Midway Mania

pstelz l.

Yelp
3 for $11. pretty good. a little uncooked for me. coleslaw is nice too. only bad thing is that the box gets soggy at the bottom. Almost no line at all, takes 3 minutes
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
I love my chicken, so I was excited to try this place! 3 drumsticks and slaw in a box for $10, not too bad for Disneyland. You can also request dips for them as well. The chicken was a little weird for me, it was not fried, more like a dry rub. While it's flavorful, I wasn't really liking the seasonings which have a sweet/salty mix. Seems like some people like it, some people don't... I'll take a pass next time.
google avatar

Corey Y.

Yelp
Did not care for seasoning on this chicken and slaw was meh. Very difficult to eat too in the wobbly box that gets greasy at the bottom, with no tables around to eat at. They were all out of plain Corn on the Cobb, so we tried the chili and lime seasoned one...OMG, there was so much chili rubbed on it and odor was not pleasant. Tried to rub off as much as possible, but still no good. We wished we'd gone to several other options in that area.
google avatar

Matt O.

Yelp
I remember eating shake'n'bake chicken as a kid. This is exactly what I remember it tasting like. It's OK. I'll pass going forward. The slaw is vinegar slaw not mayo. I like it well enough. Turkey drumsticks are the same as anywhere that sells them.
google avatar

Frederick C.

Yelp
First and foremost, I wouldn't consider this a food truck since it isn't on wheels, nor does it move around like a regular food truck. This food stand is located in Disney's California Adventure Park and is across from the Toy Story Mania ride. Food: They serve dry-rub chicken drumsticks (which, in my opinion, were pretty good. The rest of the people in my party didn't seem to think so and thought they were just "okay"). 3 total wings and a side of coleslaw (which isn't real coleslaw, it's more of a side of pickled vegetables, something like you'd find in a Vietnamese sandwich - banh mi). They also serve corn on the cob at this location and turkey legs (which, for some reason are almost $2 cheaper than other locations, but hey, I'm not complaining!). Service: Ehhhh, what more can you expect from a Disneyland employee? Just regular service, nothing too fancy. In and out pretty quickly - line moves fast since everything is pretty much premade. Overall, if you're looking for a quick bite to eat but don't want sweets, I highly suggest stopping by. For $10 you can get the chicken drumsticks or a turkey leg. One of them is sure to satisfy your cravings for a snack!
google avatar

Melissa N.

Yelp
Located on Pixar pier across from Midway Mania, the Poultry palace is worth trying. I got the chicken drumstick box which includes 3 lightly seasoned fried chicken and a side of slaw. It was good for a quick snack at only $9.99. The chicken has a little spice to it and the slaw is kind of like a pickled cabbage slaw. It even comes in a cute little Togo box.
google avatar

Andrea H.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by this little chicken stand outside of the Incredicoaster area. $9.99 for the chicken drumstick box, 3 drumsticks and coleslaw. Good value for Disney food. The drumsticks were juicy and flavorful, totally unexpected considering they pulled them out of a food storage thingy. The side coleslaw was way too vinegary for my taste. There's really limited seating, we ended up eating at the fast pass station and using the machine as a table.
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
Okay so I'm a little surprised by these poor reviews. For the LONGEST time I've been wanting to try the Poultry Palace at DCA. I've walked by it so many times trying to convince others to share it with me. It comes with 3 chicken legs and coleslaw and that's just too much for a snack for 1. Then Disneyland shuts down. Alas will I ever get to try the Poultry Palace was the first thing I thought! And I promised myself is Disneyland ever opens again, I will not let that chicken elude me again. So when DCA opened up and I visited all I could think about when I went through those gates was where's the Poultry Palace! I am so glad I tried it! I really enjoyed this chicken. It was hot and juicy and properly cooked. I took a bite and literally juice slid down my hand! The coleslaw while not the best I've ever had wasn't too bad either. They serve it with two dipping sauces which was a pleasant surprised but they were hardly necessary. This really is a lovely treat to share while strolling through the boardwalk.
google avatar

Vicky L.

Yelp
Solidly disappointing. I like the concept of a dry rub, but this one had neither flavor nor spice. It wasn't salty at all, lacked any sort of distinct taste, and just made the chicken skin feel powdery and gritty. I did like that there were 3 drumsticks plus a small container of slaw (note: this is NOT coleslaw with mayo and stuff, it's like pickled vegetables), and for $9.99 it's not a bad deal, especially if you split it with someone. Husband and I came to the consensus that we wouldn't return again. Note: they don't accept AP discounts (even Corn Dog Castle does, come on!). Really unfortunate.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
It had a cute exterior like one of the food stands at Shanghai Disneyland. I ordered the chicken drumstick box for $9.99, which was a pretty decent price for Disneyland food. It was just enough food to last for the next few hours of the day, but I think I'll try something else next time I go.
google avatar

Larry H.

Yelp
There was no wait what so ever, so that was great! They sell turkey legs, chicken legs, vitamin water, and chips. The big question is "should I try the chicken?" Isn't it? Yes you should try it! At least just once. For 9.99 you can get 3 chicken legs and a cup of pickled cabbage. Well worth the money at California adventures. The chicken was pretty moist and tasty. However, it was slacking on the salt.

Janet M.

Yelp
Chicken drumsticks were good and the turkey leg is cheaper here vs some of the other stands. Location along the pier is convenient for grabbing some other snacks.
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
This is just gross sweet fried shake n bake chicken gross gross gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Galen G.

Yelp
This was really the worst place I've ever eaten at Disneyland. We ordered the chicken box with slaw on the side. The chicken was not fresh and was soggy. It had been sitting in its own grease. It was really nasty to the point we couldn't even eat a whole drumstick. We threw the food away. The only thing that was decent was the slaw. I recommend never go here and find something else.
google avatar

Angeli C.

Yelp
This place is my go-to when I'm looking for something cheap but still somewhat filling at Disneyland! I ordered the 3 piece box that comes with three pieces of chicken and cole slaw (about $10)! They have barbecue and sweet & chili sauce but don't usually put it inside the box so you HAVE to ask for it if you want a little bit more flavor with your chicken. Nothing too special but it's enough to get you by if you don't have that big of an appetite and you're on a budget!
google avatar

Donna J.

Yelp
Favorite place to eat during lunchtime when you want a quick meal. The barbecue sauce goes well with the Drumsticks! Also I feel a lot more full when ordering from here. The price of the drumstick meal is around 10 dollars which is the same as buying a corn dog near the Ariel Ride. The only difference is that the Drumstick meal comes with a lot more! This includes three drumsticks, sauce and coslaw!
google avatar

Kevin T.

Yelp
Went here on 9/2/2018 and ordered the Chicken Drumstick box which was fairly priced, just around $11, in my opinion. It comes with 3 Drumsticks coated in Cajun seasoning and slaw. I was surprised, having heard people's chicken were dry, I may have been fortunate as the chicken was decent but the slaw was a miss. I would recommend going to this place at least once!

Ian D.

Yelp
$23 for dried turkey leg and over cooked chicken legs. Must have been sitting there since the park opened. Nothing like the moist ones at Edelweiss. Only one person working the place....

Chris D.

Yelp
Cole slaw was old and rubbery. The chicken was ok, cooked well but was cold when we got it. Our kids were fine with that though since they're young.
