Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place and was meeting a friend of mine here for brunch. They're located in Midtown, of course, where a lot of the hyped up places are. I would like to say that their parking isn't the greatest setup. Like your typical Midtown or Downtown parking, you have to valet or find parking 5 blocks down the road. Valet is about $10 during brunch hour, but it's so small and gets packed fast, I recommend coming as soon as they open.
Once you walk in, it immediately gives off bar/club vibes, the music is very loud, the lights are dim, and of course people trying to talk to each other. It's very spacious, a lot of tables high tops, couches with a coffee tables, two full bars, and they also have some outdoor seating. They also have plenty of tvs if you're wanting to watch any games.
Their regular menu is pretty decent, they offer your finger foods like pizza, wings, nachos, burgers, tacos, sandwiches, but also have salads, steaks, salmon, chicken, and pasta. On the weekends they do have a limited brunch menu (11a-4p) with specialty items that do change, but you can order pancakes, waffles, breakfast bowls, omlettes, tacos, and of course sides like eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns. We were here for brunch so we ordered a pineapple mimosa carafe, I had the Nashville hot chicken biscuits, and my friend ordered the chicken breakfast bowl.
The chicken was indeed hot, and spicy, almost too spicy, and I'm definitely a fan of hot and spicy, but I also like to enjoy my food. I did appreciate the fresh baked biscuits and the large portions though. This dish also comes with a side of eggs, cooked however you prefer, i requested over medium, and they were over cooked. My friend had her breakfast bowl that comes with a whole lot of things, eggs, veggies, bacon, sausage. She did ask to sub the sausage with chicken instead and no bacon. When her order came out it did still have the bacon, but they were more than happy to remake it for her and it came back out quick.
Overall, even though I had a great time catching up with my friend, I didn't have the best time having brunch here, only because I felt like I had to yell to converse, and my meal wasn't the greatest, in my opinion. However, if the night/bar life is your scene, this would be a great hangout spot for you with better, and more dinner options!
