Google
This restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience if you’re looking for a patio and good wine, but it falls short when it comes to the food. The outdoor seating area is definitely the star of the show—spacious and cozy. The wine selection is another highlight. With a variety of reds, whites, and sparkling options, there’s something for every palate. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to recommend a bottle or glass that complements your mood, which adds to the overall experience. The wine, paired with the charming ambiance, almost makes you forget about the food—almost. The menu, unfortunately, doesn’t live up to the same standard. While nothing is bad, it’s just average and doesn’t match the effort put into wine selection. If you’re coming for a drink and a great atmosphere, you’ll leave happy. But if food is your main priority, you might find it underwhelming.

Place has gone way downhill over the last decade. We ordered a pizza last night that was worse than a bake-to-home pizza. So bad several people stopped eating it. And my group was hungry. Wow. Pizza used to be great so I suspect they cut way back on ingredient quality to save a buck. Always happens to even the best of places. Even their famous pizza rolls just… weren’t the same. Sad. Price was egregious for what we got as well. Start looking for a new pizza place.

Google
This is my first ever review and I just want to say this, throughout my whole life I have had many pizzas but none have looked and tasted as good as this. This absolute diamond in the rough has wowed me beyond belief, some of the best pizzas hit your stomach like a rock but this pizza does no such thing, you can’t go wrong here it’s amazing!

Google
Loved it here! The pizza is incredible with fresh toppings and crispy crust. The salads were also varied and incredible. Bartender was fantastic, chill but very attentive, great selection. Bathrooms are nice and clean with signs about getting a sober ride. ❤️ So glad we discovered it!

Google
It's a pretty great place for a get together and hangover with friends and family... Their food served are really good and great...

Google
Great patio pizza pub. I annoyed their spicy bbq pizza and a lager. Looking forward to returning to try their other pizzas and cocktails. They have a larger rear parking lot with two entrance from jollyville road.

The food here was delicious and super hot! But the best part the friendly people here it was great time! I had the fried mushrooms and lemon pepper wings! Oh so good going to try the Texas ceaser next time!

Google
What got us hooked on this little hidden gem was the sourdough pizza dough and that ooey gooey cheesy goodness. Can’t go wrong with a basic cheese pizza from here. Love the ambiance and vibe of the inside of this place and they have a bunch of outdoor seating too!

Yelp
Oh my word, it's been so long since I've been back here. So happy I came Sunday night. I met up with another yelper to have dinner. She had never been here before, so it was nice to introduce her to a new place. We met outside and came in together. You can choose your own seat. They have tables and they have booths. We chose a booth. Our server came by and asked if we were ready for drinks. We asked for water, but we hadn't looked over the menu. They do have QR codes on each table. We both scanned and looked over the menu. I decided on the raspberry lemonade which is vodka based. It was really delicious. I would get it again. But knowing that drink was good, I'm sure the other flavors are good too, so maybe I'll try a new one. I also decided on the pizza. It's an 8 inch pizza, about 6 slices I think. The pizza I ordered was the spicy bbq chicken. As we waited for our pizzas to come out, we were able to visit with each other. Turns out we have a few things in common, and I enjoyed our conversation. Pizzas came out, and I'm telling you. The bbq, the pineapple, the cilantro, the chicken, the jalapeños, just married so well together. Really loved the cilantro on it. The bbq was such a nice touch, a little smokey, a little sweet, and a little heat. Just very creative pizza, and I look forward to having the left overs tonight. I had a wonderful pizza and cocktail. Thought it was nice visit with a new friend. Parking lot is private. And they have quite a few parking spaces.. I found parking right on the side of the building. They do have outside seating as well. It's lit up with a string of large light bulbs. It's a whole vibe. Will be nice during the warmer months.

Yelp
Still a great patio. Tasty snacks. I still wish they'd open at lunchtime again. I made my own appetizer. Garlic bread with a side of meatballs. Added Parmesan cheese.

Yelp
First time at Pour House and it was memorable. I literally have passed by this place hundreds of times and never stepped in. I met a friend for an early dinner and it was her suggestion (great pick.) I ordered the "The Carnivore" which included marinara sauce, pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, and all of the bacon. I asked the pepperoni be removed and that request was easily granted. In full transparency, I am not a huge pizza fan. The primary reason I do not like pizza is the gooeyness of the pizza bread and how the cheese sticks to the roof of your mouth and in your teeth. Well...The Carnivore was none of those things. The pizza bread was firm and crisp. Surprisingly, the meat toppings canvas was pure eating pleasure - large chunks of meats with each meat topping distinctively flavorful and not a huge amount of cheese. In addition, I had the passion fruit margarita - a perfect balance between tequila and passion fruit. From the outside, Pour House looks like a neighborhood bar, while inside it has a brew pub feel. It is important to the note, that restroom looks like that of a fine dining restaurant, which was pleasant surprise. Also, there is ample free parking. Service was superb! We had to waiters coming to our table to address our every need...frequently (nice surprise!) Both were super friendly and personable. Since it's so close by, I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
I was not impressed with the pizza, but I'm from Chicago, so I'm too much of a pizza snob. My friend enjoyed it, so take my opinion lightly. The service & drinks were great. Nothing fancy - just a nice little pub.

Yelp
It's been quite some time since we visited here and we thought we give it another shot. We stopped in right as happy hour ended and the bar was almost full. We were approached by the bartender pretty quick and she was very friendly and helpful with making our choice for our first beer. I'm not really fond of the QR code stuff, and we were particularly not fond of the fact that none of the beer menu items had any pricing. Yet there was a paper food menu available with pricing and prices were also on the QR code menu (food part). So why not the beer? Anyway, the pizza we ordered, as per our bartenders suggestion, the chicken bruschetta, was actually good. So I leave the place with the same rating I did years ago. It's a nice watering hole, good food menu selection but dropping two stars because we ordered 3 nine dollar beers without a clue. If you have the technology to put the menus on a website using QR codes how hard would it be to put pricing next to those items?

Yelp
Drove past this place the other day and put it on my list to try! I'm happy I did. I got carry out and it only took about 20 mins after calling for my food to be ready. Plenty of parking around the restaurant. As well as lots of seating indoors and a nice big patio outside. It's a nice neighborhood spot. They have a bar inside and TVs to catch up on sports. People were outside playing cards. I tried the 14" Spicy BBQ pizza. I'm not usually a pineapple on pizza person but it was pretty good and added a nice sweetness to the meal. I also tried the garlic cheese bread which was a great addition to the meal. Both items were nice and hot when I came to pick them up. Plenty of food to share! Excited to come by again and eat in house!

Macie S.

Yelp
We loved it here! Great pizza, lots of toppings, crunchy crust, very fresh! Varied salads which were also fresh. Tons of beer and cider selections with a great bartender. Watched the games on all the TV's, but they also have a great patio. Bathrooms were nice and clean with signs about finding a sober ride. So glad we found it!

Yelp
Service was really slow and incompetent; forgetting to put in the food order, etc. They allowed smoking outside at the tables which was disappointing. I was expecting a nice, cozy spot with fun beer and pizza but was very disappointed. Would NOT return.

Yelp
First time back since the Great Plague, and the food is still excellent. Good selection of beers, some minor additions to the menu, it's all well worth the stop. Erin Z., the staff taking care of us, made the visit even better, super friendly, super efficient, added to the whole experience. If you actually read my review, I really meant to give 5 stars. 6 if I could!
google avatar

Kayleigh T.

Yelp
Right off the bat, I have to compliment them on their beer selection! So many choices including a few non alcoholic options, I got my favorite hopwater which went perfectly with my pizza. Our server (I believe her name was Nicole) was so friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu, she did such a great job of making us feel like we were hanging out with family there. We ordered The Dude and added pesto, which turned out to be the best choice we could have made! Between the beer choices and the customization on pizzas, you have to stop here if you are in Austin. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so bring your friends!

Yelp
This was our first time going here and it was fantastic! Started off with such a friendly welcoming by their staff towards us but most importantly towards our dog (who of course LOVES attention). The pizza was so delicious and they provide such great hospitality. Will most definitely be returning!

Yelp
We had a great time at this local pizza place. You can tell this is locals favorite's. Friendly welcoming staff and great food !!!

Yelp
We haven't been here in several months. Surprisingly enough, the waitress remembered us and our pizza order. We usually order the El Supremo here, but substitute jalapeños for the green bell peppers. Highly recommend you do this if you like a spicy pizza. My only issue here is that the red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese come in packets. It wasn't like that pre pandemic. It's all good though.

Yelp
Great pizza and service! The perfect happy hour vibes. The pies are a little overpriced for the size but its great food.

Yelp
I've been passing up some awesome food and beers for years. Don't make the same mistake I did. I Yelper plead with you! I also learned two things I've been missing in pizza, too. I've passed this place dozens of times. It sits on the fringe of a west Austin neighborhood and several apartments/condos between them and 183. I believe it is affiliated with a restaurant that has a place in Fort Worth, too, but I might be wrong. What I'm sure of my first visit there was killer! I'm planning on going back when I can eat and drink a whole day away! They have a great outdoor area with plenty of umbrellas and we chose a table. The server acknowledged us right away. We QR'd the menu and by the time we'd made a choice of food our beers were on the table and cold (good pour on the Guinness, btw). We ordered a pizza of our own: Sausage, mushroom, green peppers and spicy marinara sauce. Okay, first... You know how some chain pizzas you have the ingredients all coming off together leaving you with less than even a cheese pizza? Not here. Every thing is chopped into small pieces and spread evenly over the entire pizza. Every bite comes with a mouthful of exactly what you ordered. Second, put some of that marinara on a piece of canvas and I'd eat it. The spices brought everything together. We got wings too. Golden Buffalo. Perfect heat! Crispy. Meaty. Those wings were gone so fast I was looking at other tables to see if someone had snatch a couple off our plate LOL We were licking the hot sauce off the plate. I'M DOUBLING THE ORDER NEXT TIME! Great service, cool vibe, good food! Did I get lucky or find bar food Nirvana? I dunno. I'm going to rock a five star and adjust as I need to, but I'm not going to deprive myself of another visit here for sure!!

Yelp
Great pizzas (Rasta and vegan Spock), good beer selection, good service, and great patio. Very dog friendly!
google avatar

Steffie S.

Yelp
Fun Neighborhood joint. This feels like a place where you'd walk in and they'd say, "Norm!"...if that were your name and you were on an episode of Cheers. The beer was deliciously cold served in a thick glass to keep it that way. The pizza was generously embellished with toppings, and the crust was above average. The service was timely and courteous. I really liked the outdoor patio. Part of it is covered with fans, and part was uncovered with tables with umbrellas. The only drawback is there's a lot of road noise. We sat at a table as far away from the road as possible, and it was acceptable noise-wise. When our world health situation is better, I hope to see all the tables filled with large groups of friends enjoying pints and pizzas. For now, come check it out with your close friends and/or significant other.

Yelp
Glad I found this place! Great beer selection with lots of on tap options. The pizza is very good! I had the carnivore and it was a solid 8 out of 10! I will absolutely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Craving pizza and saw the good reviews so tried it out. It was alright but wasn't anything special. Service was good and space was big and not busy so we didn't have to wait which is nice but I just wish the pizza was a little better.

Percy J.

Yelp
We love this place, but... they've changed their dough and crust. It used to be thin and chewy, like a brick oven style, where the toppings stood out. Now, the dough and crust feel more like frozen pizza, and the pizza is bland. It isn't enjoyable because this was my favorite pizza spot in NW Austin. The patio, wings, and beer are still impressive, though. Please bring back the old crust! This place is still great, and I don't mean to criticize too much, but I know how good it was. I still love you, Pour House--don't be mad at me.
google avatar

Chalin S.

Yelp
What a cute lil place! Lots of outdoor seating! Lots of beers and they make a good marg. The snack - are what I'm all about here, the hummus was good, friend cheese oh lord (but wait you can't go wrong with that can you?) and the MUSHROOMS were so yummy! Warning - the house red will give you a headache
google avatar

Ruth S.

Yelp
Not sure why people are giving more stars than this place deserves. If you actually read the peoples' reviews, they really meant to give less stars. Here's why: The pizza is just bar pizza. It's nothing special and if I'm being honest, I would have been much happier just going to Costco for pizza Imagine your pizza covered in melted plastic that has cheese flavor. That's what's the pizza is like; bar pizza. Pizza you'd love to eat when hammered. It tasted like Red Baron. Let's talk about the cocktails. I can't speak over every cocktail in existence but if they're anything like the margaritas... lol... don't order a cocktail. The margarita here was so bad, I'm sure my husband could make one better with margarita mix and Jose Cuervo. Gross . I wish I could tell you that our experience here was fluffed with great service... unfortunately, that isn't the case. I understand being understaffed because of the C word, but I watched my waitress, and she was so inefficient, I was very tempted to get up and serve myself. Also, they weren't understaffed. There were plenty of servers for the lack of people that were present. Be prepared to sit for awhile staring at your feet until you can order anything. Be prepared to stay thirsty while you eat. Ask for everything you need from the start, or be prepared to not need it by the time you receive help. Last but not least, the bathrooms. Those things are important, are they not? they are to me. I will say, they are definitely public bathrooms. Have you ever been to a really gross gas station bathroom? Ok, then you know what these bathrooms are like. I wonder, does anyone even clean them? Oh well, we will just blame it on the C word this time around. ‍

Yelp
The Pour House has a large patio and dogs are allowed. They have delicious pizza options. I love their appetizers. We got the fried pickles and cheesy garlic bread which were delicious as well. They also have great beer selection. Beers are refreshing. You can tell they tap their beers correctly. Highly recommend this place to chill and enjoy good food. Great customer service too.
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
Still here. Still serving tasty food. A large, varied, frequently changing 35 tap wall and smart friendly beer savvy staff. This remains a favorite neighborhood hangout and I love the food, the beer and the staff and really love the place. Pretty sparkling clean, nice patio and if they had some heaters a patio that would be great in December, January and February too. The formula here, as with all the bars in this ownership group, is simple and effective: great staff, nice place, decent food, good beer and inexpensive drinks. No wonder they have outlasted the last 5 occupants of this building!
google avatar

Kerra S.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place. It was way more laid back then I expected (place is always popping outside!!) which was great, I'm not for the "pay twice what it's worth because we are fancy pants". Everything was very reasonably priced, and freaking delicious! We tried a few of the drinks (I tried a few of the beers) and it's safe to say I left tipsy and happy! Can't wait to visit this place again and try some new pizzas and beer!
google avatar

Russell B.

Yelp
Still absolutely wonderful after all these years! They remember our order and pay good attention to our table. Will be back soon and often.

Yelp
At first glance, the interior of Pour House looked a little un-maintained. But, then of course, Austin. Where everything is underground. I was excited about the local beer list, though the stout selection was a bit thin. I went with Redhorn, a coffee stout that was a little short on stoutness for me. But, the flavor was good. We ordered three 8" pizzas to share: El Supremo, Hawaiian, and a Veggie pizza, providing plenty for two adults and two children. The pizza was quite good, as in Austin-good. I couldn't put my finger on it, but there was something unique about the flavor. Our server was very good, personable and informative. We ate a late lunch, during which a growing number of what appeared to be regulars gathered mostly around the bar. The location is a bit secluded from the rest of Austin. But, it's near the technology district, where I was working for the day. Parking was a little confusing because we approached the building from a side where the entrance wasn't visible. It's a private parking lot with plenty of space. Outdoor seating is available. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Jamie R.

Yelp
This place has an underrated patio and some tasty pizzas! We live nearby and love to spend nice afternoons sipping a beer and sharing a slice of chicken bruschetta. They have great gluten free pizza, too! They have seemed understaffed the last few times we've gone, but we've always been served kindly and as quick as possible! Great for big groups - lots of parking and room.
google avatar

Aaron H.

Yelp
Someone finally figured out how to make this quirky location on Jollyville work! Our go-to for early afternoon happy hours - this is a great friendly little neighborhood pub with lots of beers on tap, great pizza and sides. Especially love the fried pickles.
google avatar

Amy G.

Yelp
My friends like this place, but I don't see the draw. The pizza is mediocre. Fortunately tonight I discovered their sandwiches are good. I got the Pourboy, with Fries. Everyone else in our group who wanted food ended up being in a sandwich mood, so the Chicken Parm sandwich got good reviews from two of the guys. The fries were well-seasoned and looked promising, but were a little cold and soft. Other times I liked the Fried Pickle Chips, but could only eat a few pieces before they got overpowering. It's not like we'd eat that many pickles out of the jar in one sitting! I think the server mixed up my friend's beer order. The final blow to this spot is that their outdoor chairs are wildly uncomfortable. I even brought my own seat cushion the last few times I came! This time it saved my butt, but my back still hurts. I'd give Pour House a 3.5 but I'm in a generous mood so I'm rounding up.
google avatar

Yelp
Been coming here for years. The pizzas, salads, sandwiches are delicious. Always consistently delicious. The staff is always friendly and great service. All around a wonderful place!

Yelp
As a new couple to the area, we were looking for a great local business to call our watering hole for date night. TLDR: We found lovely staff, good appetizers, and some great personal pizzas. Go there. Details: The bartender/owner, Steve, was knowledgeable and smart. The server, D, was quick, personable, and attentive. We had the fried mozzarella and fried green beans. They were cooked perfectly and have great flavored sauce. We had two beers from tap they suggest and they were great. The pizzas were something we took home and reheated. They were just as good at the restaurant!
google avatar

Marcus R.

Yelp
This was the first trying out this place. My guys from work and I were in training this week so we thought about trying it out. The environment was chill and not too busy during lunch time so that was a plus for us because we needed to be back for training within the hour. Three of us ordered the Cubano and it was so tasty! I definitely enjoyed the pickles and pork amongst other fine ingredients they packed on that pizza! One of guys ordered the regular pepperoni pizza and he said he liked it a lot. The crust and dough of the pizza was cooked perfectly thoroughly. There salads were delicious and portioned perfectly. When you arrive the parking is all in the back area pretty much, and you enter through the patio area. They have signs for you and that guide you to entrance.
google avatar

Cristian S.

Yelp
Excellent beer ! Excellent pizza ! Very rich crust ! I loved this place! I'll be back soon !
google avatar

Juan A.

Yelp
Driving up ... you're like meh... Walk inside and the aroma of food is just sooo good!. When it's hot the inside is packed , but when the weather is nice the patio is the spot to be. The service is on point even when they are slammed, obviously it will take a little longer. But definitely worth waiting. Wings are yummy! Pizza is so good. The Salads are also great. Cab choose from water, soda, beer or vino. Also, at times for happy hour your get a sweet glass that you get to keep. Can never have to many glasses. Over all great experience and service was on point. Definitely check this hides gem out.

Yelp
I'm a gonna need to update my review for Pour House. I had lunch here about a year ago and was totally turned off by their food. As I recall their pizza was basically frozen pizza quality and our wings were devoid of taste. My reviews were stop by for drinks and go elsewhere for food. Well fast forward a year and hooray their food offerings deserve a 4-star rating. Three of us stopped by on a beautiful Sunday afternoon hungry and thirsty. We started with their fried pickles which were perfect. I prefer these pickles sliced thin so I enjoyed them. Next up was their bruschetta. Very tasty with fresh basil and tomatoes. Lastly, we split a pizza. Our pizza was cooked perfectly and the ingredients were on point. I would be remiss if I did not mention that service on the patio was very attentive. I'm really pleased that I can put Pour House back on the to-go list.

Edmund Skip D.

Yelp
Pretty good pizza and excellent salad. Beer is nice and cold. All at a good price. Love the outdoor patio. Kid friendly but it's definitely not Chucky cheese. Good neighborhood beer joint.

Anthony B.

Yelp
Just came for my first time, was looking for a new place with a new atmosphere. Expectations shattered is an understatement, The craft beers are phenomenal, the cocktail list was not only unique, but also very good. I'm a pretty particular person when it comes to pizza, and this place absolutely covered every corner. Will definitely be back, try something new and come change your life.
google avatar

Rebecca P.

Yelp
Stopped here for a quick dinner and drink with a coworker after work we started with some appetizers and had a pizza with some margaritas. It took 5 minutes to get silverware once our appetizers arrived, drinks and food were okay by dive bar standards but nothing special.
google avatar

Molly M.

Yelp
The pizza here had some unique and tasty toppings. Decent selection of beer, fried pickles came piping hot and perfectly breaded and cooked. Not much more to say - seems like a popular off the beaten path neighborhood place.
google avatar

Priyakshi K.

Yelp
The pizzas here are simply amazing. Been to pour house several times just for drinks, but every time I couldn't stop myself from ordering a pizza. Very chill ambience and their service is pretty quick. Their draft beer collection is good too !
google avatar

Mickey W.

Yelp
Visiting from Seattle and went here with my son this week. We both ordered pizza which was excellent. Tasty crust on the pie and toppings were top notch. Tried their "West Coast" IPA, not to hoppy but well balanced. I'll be back!!
google avatar

Pax S.

Yelp
Wow, what a comeback from Corona this place has had. I've never been happier to see the wait staff and bartenders (especially Justin) return to their jobs. They're really into sanitizing every space that has been used and I've never had a vegan pizza like The Spock. Couldn't be happier with this place's redemption. Come support them, especially at the beginning of the week!

Hanna S.

Yelp
Came on a Monday at 8:20ish left at 9:20. Great service delicious food. We got the fried mozzarella, chicken wings & fries. Mozzarella was delicious, could have been a tad hotter but flavor was there. Fries & Buffalo wings were 5 stars. Lemon pepper was very salty almost inedible but we were full off the mozzarella so didnt ruin the meal. Evie was great as well. Definitely will be back to try the pizza.

Yelp
I attended an event here this weekend and was quite happy! I did not go inside, but stayed with other folks on the really fine deck, where part had been reserved for us. First and foremost I must complement the attitude, capabilities, speed and providing overall excellent service! I gave her quite a good tip as a result. She MADE the difference between chaos and a great time! 2 snaps up! I ordered the fried pickles, which were quite thick, juicy and an unusual batter. Even though I shared. Drinks... they were quite good. I stuck to hard liquor drinks, while others had beers of various kinds. I stole a large piece of pizza from a friend and was happy. This is more of a neighborhood place and much more laid back than others. This was a success. If I am in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to stop!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm a pizza fanatic! Pizza is one of the best simple yet so tasty. Went on a Friday early evening busy but service was good and manager came out to help his servers and cleared tables. Kid friendly and pets welcomed would definitely recommended
google avatar

Sherry L.

Yelp
Typical vibe of a pizza and bar joint. I've been here twice now and the drinks and pizza are affordable and the drinks are pretty strong. The tables are always a little dirty but I didn't mind too much. I ordered a potato pizza which was really interesting but yummy. They were showing the patriots/titans game on maybe 2 TVs but the other TVs had random things on- one even was showing some movie from the 60s or 70s which I thought was weird. Service was really good though. Waitress was very attentive. Overall, good experience and will definitely be back since it's super close to my house.

Yelp
Pour house is a pleasant open patio brewery serving delectable pies and the best garlic bread in Austin! I prefer an afternoon visit to enjoy the sun on the patio. The garlic bread has a nice char and is brimming with heavenly garlic flavour!

Yelp
We got into Austin really late one night - after 11:00 pm by the time we checked into our hotel. Not many options to eat or drink on a Monday night that late in the area we were in. I found Pour House and went down to grab some grub and a couple of pints. Unfortunately, they close the kitchen at 11:00 pm (the bar stays open until Midnight on Mondays). So I stayed and tried two different local craft IPAs. The bartender - Steven as I recall, was very helpful in describing the attributes of the two IPAs that I eventually tried. They offer a lot of local craft beers - as well as craft beers from other places. - Stash IPA (7.0% ABV), Independence Brewing Co., Austin, TX http://www.independencebrewing.com/our-beers/year-round-beers/stashipa/ Stash uses four different hops - Columbus, Galaxy, Nugget, Cascade and Citra - it's a very hoppy and resinous IPA. Loved it! - (512) IPA, (7.0% ABV) (512) Brewing Co., Austin, TX http://www.512brewing.com/2011/12/512-ipa-2/ (512) is more of a malty, sweet IPA to my palate. Of the two IPA's I preferred the Stash. Would like to come back some other time to experience some of their "pub grub."
