"Ask avid home cooks where they like to eat on their night off and Pour is a common answer. Maine lobster tail served with celery root soubise, Iberico chorizo, and an almond gremolata with sumac, Michigan rabbit loin with king trumpet mushrooms, fiddleheads, a morel cream, and pickled mustard seeds, are just a few of the specialities to have come from the scratch kitchen of chef Colin Campbell. Be sure to pair these and other beautiful menu items with wines from sommelier Todd Chinnock’s well-curated list. Chinnock lists some 55 selections by the glass or half glass, including some harder-to-land allocations that he has worked hard to bring to northern Michigan." - Stacey Brugeman
I visit Petoskey about once a month and the restaurant scene was getting pretty boring. Leto’s Osteria is in the space that was Pour (wine bar /restaurant). I believe it’s the same ownership as Tap 30 and The Back Lot (beer garden). Leto’s is probably the best restaurant in downtown Petoskey (or close second to Chandler’s.)
Leto’s focuses on pasta dishes-they make their pasta in-house. We ordered two appetizers and two pasta dishes. The apps were the best. The turnip dish was our favorite but the potato was good as well.
We ordered the mushroom pasta dish and the vegetables/burrata dish. The mushroom was the better dish of the two. Here are my minor criticisms of the pasta dishes-both dishes were brown. I think the veg pasta should have a fresher color to it. Also, the veg pasta was really saucy, especially once you break into the burrata. The extra sauce kind of overpowered the fresh pasta. Really not a major issue.
I ordered the house Old Fashioned. It was really good. The ambiance of the restaurant was very pleasant. Nice decor and lighting.
Service was awesome. The waiter was knowledgeable(he suggested the turnips which were the best dish) and courteous.
We will be back for sure!

We had a lovely Sunday night dinner at Leto's Osteria recently. Sat at the bar, which has a great feel. Excellent drinks. The potato appetizer with the trout roe and dill humus was perfect. For entrees, my wife had the swordfish baked in parchment, I had the bucatini carbonara. Both were fabulous. We can't say enough about the quality of the experience. Run, don't walk to Leto's. We'll definitely be back.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if you like it when your food tastes really good, then you should probably eat here. My girlfriend and I had the michigan asparagus gratinato to start followed by the mushroom mafaldine and the shrimp arrabbiata. Our waitress had great recommendations and everything was a slam-dunk when it came to flavor. Be sure to save room for dessert because we ended the night with their strawberry cheesecake and it was delicious!
Also they box your food for you which is so rare in the United States these days, so bonus points for that.

Great food. Great service. Lovely place to dine. Need more protein options. They need to expand their small plates. Definitely would return.

The staff and food are 10/10. From the drink selection down to the desserts, the warmth of the decor, and the kind staff.. this is the place to be. Every bite is an adventure in its own & I love enjoying what letos has to offer! Grateful for good food.

Chef Ray has a deep love and passion for his art and you can taste it in every bite! We have had the pleasure of dining at Letos twice now and still have more we want to come back to try. This is the place to go in Northern Michigan!

Wonderful dinner at LETO'S OSTERIA. The Cauliflower Frito was amazing. We will definitely be back.
The other dishes in the pictures are Shaved Brussel Sprouts (caesar style), Mushroom Mafaldine, Bucatini Carbonara. Drinks are Spiced Pear Spritz and Ray's Black Manhattan.

Yelp
Service and ambiance was great!
The food absolutely delivered--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
We started with the burrata, which was creamy and perfectly paired. The mushroom pasta was rich, earthy, and comforting, while the rigatoni had just the right bite of spice and was full of flavor. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared and authentic.

Yelp
They refuse to make accommodations to dietary restrictions and are incredibly rude about it. Avoid at all costs

Yelp
Four of us were there just after opening. The space is pretty loud and the tables are VERY close together.
The shaved Brussel sprouts were really good. However, we had four different entrees that disappointed. The menu has changed so telling you what we had would be irrelevant. We all agreed that things were a little under seasoned and very over salted.
I hope, for their sake, they dial it in. I'll be listening for feedback from friends' experiences.

Yelp
Went for my wife's birthday with a group and we had a truly wonderful experience!! The pastas were outstanding! Pricey, but large portions and for the quality it felt worth it! The main dish we split and it was outstanding as well! But the highlight was the zeppolis! One of the best desserts I've had in northern Michigan!!! I live here and so to me, that's huge!!!! The staff was so nice and helpful and the chef went out of his way to be seen and was charming and kind! We will be back and we will tell everyone about it!!! Thanks!!!

Yelp
Excellent wait staff. We arrived on time but our table wasn't ready. We were seated at another table, served drinks then moved to the table we requested.
The food was excellent. Started with the asparagus appetizer, followed by the Cacio e Pepe, absolutely wonderful! Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
This is not a restaurant to bring kids to. They have zero options for kids and are unwilling to make adjustments to accommodate at all. Most of their dishes are pasta dishes, so we asked them to just have two orders of pasta with butter and Parmesan cheese on the side for the kids. We figured that this would be easy considering they had Cacio e Pepe on the menu. Their response was that they were unable to boil plain noodles for us. Overall, the other food that we had was decent but they seem to think that they are a Michelin-rated restaurant or something. Rude staff definitely were off-putting. I would definitely go elsewhere if you have kids.
