I have been coming here for many years and there is a good reason for this. See my photos? The food is just so delicious. Their tortillas are amazing first off and their menu is a sight for sore eyes in the very over saturated market of Mexican food here in southern California. My favorite is the pineapple skirt steak, but the blackened salmon is what my wife loves there is something for everybody and that is why Pour vida is the place I take friends to have a special meal with me. It in many ways represents what I love about California; so much diversity, flavor and culture. Located across from city hall, now at the corner in a larger location I can safely say I'll continue to come here and introduce others to one of my favorite restaurants.

Google
The food experience was great here. In order of tacos that we loved best : Pineapple Skirt Steak, Anaheim Burger, Mango Pork, Jumbo Prawn, and Vanilla Bean Braised Short Rib. We felt the pineapple skirt steak had so much flavor, we even ordered a second one! The short rib did not feel like it had a ton of flavor and it felt dry, however it may have been because we ate it last and it was really cold outside. We also ordered the Jarritos Rita which was very flavorful and the presentation was great. The green chorizo fundido was delicious, and enough for two people. And last we got churros for deserts, they were great and felt like they were made to order. The location was very clean, bathrooms clean, ambiance was great, and they do have outdoor seating with heating lamps. We will for sure come back!

Google
Great friendly and attentive service. Tacos were pretty good. I had the crab leg taco was light and crispy just needed a kick but would try ither tacos. I did like the hand made tortillas. The side of potatoes with mole was a delicious...we had it as an appetizer.

Google
I would’ve downgraded rating because the Jarritos margaritas were quite warm. But it’s a very very hot day in Anaheim and the servers were doing their best! Five stars for environment and delicious food!!! A great place to bring a date or meet with your friends. I highly recommend ordering the pulpo appetizer and get a side of tortillas. The tortillas are homemade and delicious. The tacos are all a la carte so I also recommend ordering a few different ones to try a variety. My favorite was the IPA fried fish taco. I had the ahi tuna bowl which came with a generous portion of Spanish rice beans, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts; tasted great! Hit the spot! Yum!

Google
Very unique interior, staff was excellent and friendly, nacho fries were pretty good, and fresh drinks were unique and different. That's about it. Not sure why this place is highly rated. The pork pineapple taco tasted foul; rancid actually. The short rib tacos smelled and tasted fishy. Their fresh tortillas were underwhelming, or maybe overwhelmed by the disjointed flavors in the tacos. The only good one I had was the steak taco. Price doesn't really matter to me, but, for the $60 I paid, I'd hoped all the tacos would at least be edible. I was initially excited to try this place, but it was genuinely disappointing. They had multiple signs stating "no $1 tacos here", but pretty sure $1 spots can make a better taco.

Google
Happy Hour all day Sunday as 50% off regular menu! Brussel Sprout taco is my favorite (sounds weird, I know, but try it) seconded by the jacuzzi chicken!

Google
This place creates a delicious take on tacos, but with a twist. You won't find ordinary tacos here. Instead you get gormet fusions of tropical flavors mixed with traditional Mexican proteins. Plus the food is cooked to perfection. They can be a bit pricey though, something you'd expect from a place in this location. However, charging for chips and salsa drops a star. If chips and salsa was provided, if have given 5 stars. Bonus: This place actually have spicy salsa. I love heat and spice, and what most places claim to be spicy is ridiculous. However, this place delivers.

Google
Something a little different. I loved the Cuban bowl and may wife loved the Smashie. My son thought the Pinapple steak bowl was so-so. There was a good drink selection.

Troy J.

Yelp
Amazing! Nothing more. The smashes and Cuban bowl are wonderfully flavored Service is great and very very very clean!

Yelp
True to its name, Pour Vida will fill you with life! We were in the area hungry, thirsty, and in the mood for delicious tacos. Aside from that, we love Jarritos, and we had seen on social media the amazingness that the folks here do with Jarritos bottles, and had to see it for ourselves. Pour Vida has incredible décor inside, plenty of Instagramable spots throughout the restaurant that would make all influencers smile. The main thing we were there for was the famous JARRITOS-RITA! My girlfriend got to pick any Jarritos flavor she wanted, and they took care of spiking it with Cazadores Blanco and decorating it with Chamoy. Its an impressive magic trick where they turn an alcohol free $2 Jarritos, into a beautiful alcoholic drink worth $16! Its definitely worth it, though. At least to try once. The tacos were definitely tasty as well. We ordered the Pineapple Skirt Steak Taco, the Mango Pork Taco, and a Blackened Salmon Taco. All were fun, delicious, and unique flavors. Funny enough, we sat under the sign, that claims "Tacos Are Cheaper Than Therapy," I will have to politely disagree with this. These tacos were a bit pricey and so were the drinks. Totally worth it, but my insurance covers therapy. It won't cover Pour Vida Tacos.

Yelp
My visits to Pour Vida are sparse and they are usually only when I'm with a group of co-workers or friends and someone suggests going here. It is very rare when I decide to visit on my own. I haven't had a wow factor here while visiting. Here is what I've experienced: Long Waits - Overall visit lasts a long time here, even for a simple order. The wait between drink orders, food orders, and food arrivals has always been long here, even when there are not many people present. My last visit was with a party of three, each of us ordered just two tacos, with the exception of one friend that ordered three, and we were there waiting for our food for at least a half hour. There weren't any sides or special orders. Value - The food is expensive. As of the last visit, the cheapest price for a taco was $6 and can range up to $8.....for one taco. I don't mind paying for something that is a little pricey, but I personally don't think the quality is there. The meat is a little chewy and the flavors are just okay. I also think the size of the tacos is rather small. Tacos El Gringo are down the street near Anaheim Make and their tacos range I think from $5 - $7, but they are rather sizable. You can make two tacos with the amount of meat they put into one and I think the meat quality there is better. Also, the Pour Vida chips and salsa are $10! The serving portion for the chips is also not very big, so I would recommend skipping this. Food - My favorite tacos have to be their brussel sprout tacos, but again, they are pricey for a veggie taco. I didn't like the vanilla bean braised short rib (that's what I get for being adventurous). The flavors did not pair well together. The Anaheim Burger taco was just okay. I once had their veggie bowl that I ordered for pickup, which was okay as well but I paid about $25 for that after tax and tip. Their baked goods look so good in their display but they are also just okay, nothing special. Cleanliness - During my last visit, my boss, unfortunately, had some pink lipstick on his water cup that he noticed after he drank from it. They must have missed that cup while washing. When he notified the staff, they apologized and brought him new water. They didn't comp anything from our bill or offer any remedy, which might have improved the experience a little bit more. Overall, Pour Vida has a cute vibe and nice staff, but the expensive food and long wait times aren't enough to bring me back and my most recent experience was a reminder of that.

Richie R.

Yelp
Not surprised they closed. They were much better at their first location but thought it was a good idea to charge over $10 for a single taco lol the tacos are honestly some of the best I had I'd enjoyed going with my partner in the past but they totally fumbled their opportunity. $10+ for a taco what a joke...

Yelp
Food Very Good! Service Very Good. This is just a different restaurant, I don't think anything is precooked and waiting, it's fresh n tasty. The only think missing in a good restaurant is a menu to hold and read, not scan thru your phone. There's something to be said for glancing at the total options. I'm sure they had some menus somewhere. My menu opinion should not stop you from a Great restaurant. I will be back many more times. Lunch special was 1/2 off tacos. Hint fried chicken taco and IPA Beer battered fish tacos were to die for.see the pic. Tortillas are fresh made and Good.

Yelp
Great Food, Good Ambiance. Service was good. Had a good time with my family. TVs playing sports. I would go again

Yelp
Pour Vida continues to be one of the best brunch spots in Anaheim!! I celebrated a friend's birthday here with a group of 11 people and it went as smooth as it can be. I called to make the reservation and they connected it to my OpenTable app. We were running 10 minutes late so I just called to let them know and they were okay with that. Once we arrived, I reiterated to confirm that our reserved table was for 11 people, and they realized they made a mistake during their setup. Luckily, we were able to make it work and they added a side table to account for the seats they missed and gave us complimentary chips and salsa to apologize for the inconvenience. Now to the food and drinks. The most important thing (at least in my book) is that they STILL have bottomless mimosas! It's a 2-hour limit, but I appreciate that they are one of the OC spots who have changed to by the bottle post-pandemic. The food here is ALWAYS delicious. I have yet to have a terrible experience and I've been here at least five times over the past two years. Parking Tip: Park in the structure across or use a car service. Street parking is very hard to come by. Thanks again to the awesome folks at Pour Vida! Can't wait to be back again.

Yelp
Made reservations on Opentable and were seated right away. They have indoor and outdoor (with heaters) seating We ordered: - Chips & Salsa trio: the chips and the red salsa was not that good. But the other two salsas were good! - Yucca fritters: these are like thick French fries with a habanero aioli, these were piping hot and good to share - Brussel Sprout tacos w/soy ginger glaze and queso fresco: WOW flavor explosion, this is a must - Cauliflower tacos w/soyrizo spices, pickled Napa cabbage and queso fresco: this was super flavorful - Drinks: rumchata and jarrito-rita were strong and good! Parking: there's street parking and there's a parking garage

Lucy T.

Yelp
I have to say this taco place is so delicious! I ordered the shrimp tacos with cabbage and purple corn! The cabbage wasn't that good however I got some Molé from my friends plate and made my shrimp mole taco! The Nachos were amazing! The steak on the nachos were a little bit sweet however it was delicious! I also ordered café de olla And it had the perfect amount of flavor!

Cindy Z.

Yelp
I came here for lunch on a weekday. If you're lucky, you can find street parking. Otherwise, there's a garage across the street, which you can get validation for. There's a nice patio area, which is the better seating. Plus, it's dog friendly. For food, we had the Short Ribs Nachos ($14) to share and start. Unfortunately, this dish came out last so it wasn't a starter anymore. Nonetheless, the nachos is a huge portion and the chips are crunchy and thick with spicies sprinkled on top. The nachos are definitely a good deal here. I found it kind of crazy that the nachos are only $2 more from the guacamole, so of course opted for nachos instead. As for the meal, I got two tacos: IPA Whitefish Taco ($6) and Pineapple Skirt Steak Taco ($6). The tacos are good, but I'm not sure it's $6 good. The steak meat was incredibly flavorful and tender though. While the food is solid, it's very pricey for what it is. Definitely order the nachos to share if you do!

Tramy N.

Yelp
Cool looking spot in Anaheim that I didn't know existed. We mainly chose this location versus the new Fullerton one because they allow dogs in the patio! Nachos were HUGE but I wasn't a big fan of the type of chips they used. That's just me being picky. My fiancé got three different tacos and while they looks like they would be amazing, they were okay considering how expensive they were for street taco size. $6/taco... ehhh I've had better. Would I come back? Probably not. I've had better tacos for that price

Yelp
We were staying close by since we were going to Disneyland the next day and stumbled upon this restaurant on a busy Saturday night. Thankfully we got seated within a couple of minutes (though the host seemed hesitant, I'm thinking they maybe had a few reservations coming up). Either way, we got lucky! First off, it was quite warm at 7:00 at night! The restaurant had fans going, but it was a little too warm for my taste. We weren't that hungry, so the three tacos we had each... very filling! The tortillas are thick and on the sweeter side. Not so thick like you would see eating a Sopes, but between that and a normal tortilla. Each taco runs about $5.50-$7.00 *Fried Oyster - my favorite one *Pineapple Skirt steak *Jumbo Prawn *Short Rib *Mango Pork - definitely has a kick from the Aji Amarillo pepper Overall, the service was good and the flavors of the tacos were really nice! I don't know if I would return as I am more of a corn street taco fan (with the thinner tortilla). However, I would highly recommend anyone to try it, the tortillas are quite unique!

Victoria L.

Yelp
Stopped by here during the Anaheim Fall Fest (Halloween Event) for a bite and drink. Ordered a vanilla bean braised short rib taco $6 - quite bland, but the tortilla was different and yummy. reminded me of a flakey, layered paratha Draft beer was $10 Service was OK - told us there was a 90 minute table limit due to the parade, which was fine but they took forever to give us our bill. Short and sweet visit. Overall, just OK.

Dani G.

Yelp
Service at Pour Vida was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is really cute and very clean. The food, however, was just not what I expected. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. My partner and I both ordered a short rib smashie. They're really tiny, two bite tacos, which was fine. The taste though was not good. The meat did not taste fresh and had little flavor. Same thing with the consome it came with. It had tiny chunks of fat floating in it which was off-putting. The tortilla was definitely undercooked. We also ordered steak nachos for the table. It's a huge portion but a majority of the toppings were only on the top layer. Sweet meats are just not my thing personally so I didn't like the steak either. Maybe Pour Vida is better for brunch. All in all, food was just okay, but I'd come back to try their drinks.

Anjelah T.

Yelp
Food is so delicious my favorite are the pineapple skirt steak taco + the green chorizo smashies + guacamole & habanero sauce. Customer service is always great with the kindest staff & cooks. Drinks are also 10/10 Def recommend trying this place out it will be worth it!

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Im a regular here! Love the Jarritos Margaritas! The Horchata Latte and the chille relleno breakfast! Such a vibe for a Sunday Brunch!! Food is always tasty, fast seating, fast food and most importantly great service! Ask for Carlos!

Katrina S.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant! Their tablecloths & mismatched water glasses reminded me of my grandmother's & her sisters' homes when I was a kid in Manila The servers were really nice, & service was quick! And the tacos were yummy...small, but yummy

Karla C.

Yelp
My sister told me about this place and we decided to go. Very cute interior and bright. We sat outside and I ordered two tacos. I got the Pineapple Skirt Steak and Spicy Ahi Tuna. These tacos are not traditional but Asian fusion. The steak was my favorite. The skirt steak had a great marinade. Very delicious. The spicy ahi tuna was fresh. I wish it had more of a citrus flavor. Our server recommended the burger taco. I want to try that next time. Very trendy place and the food is fun.

Cindy T.

Yelp
Honestly very impressed by this place! I love me a good happy hour and this place is just that. You can get yourself a wide variety of tacos and drinks for decent prices! Come for Happy Hour (M-F 2-5pm for $3 tacos and $5 beers or margaritas). FAVE ITEMS: - House Margarita: comes with a tajin rim, and it's BIG and strong. Tasty too. Definitely worth your money. - Jacuzzi Chicken: tender chicken and juicy. Came out fresh. The taco shell was soft, you could def tell they just brought it out and made it right beforehand. SERVICE: a bit slow to seat us but we were a large party of 11, so I'd say they did their best with us. They took our order immediately and food/drinks came out quick! PARKING: there's plenty of street parking around the area. I found a 90 minute one, but prepare to parallel park! PRICE: so good, worth. Overall, perfect place to come for a nice happy hour. Definitely would recommend.

Kathy B.

Yelp
I was hoping to like this place more than I actually did. It didn't take very long to get seated and everyone was very friendly. However, once we did sit, it took a while to get anyone's attention. Once we did get someone to take our order, she was pleasant. We ordered Habanero plantains (delicious!!!) chicken wings, mole potatoes and 3 tacos. The skirt steak taco was delicious but a bit cold, the pork and plantain taco was a little dry. The highlight of our meal was the jumbo prawn taco which was delicious! For drinks we ordered a beer and a piñata margarita. They must have forgotten about us because our drinks didn't arrive until the end of our meal. I had never had a piñata margarita before so I asked what it was like. I was told it was sweet and fruity. It was not. It was very bitter. I'm sure some would like it but I didn't not care for it very much. I ended up paying $12 for something I didn't drink. It was not a terrible dining experience but I definitely expected more. Overall, the staff was kind and friendly but we did spend a lot of time waiting: for our drinks, for water refills, for the check. Perhaps it was an off day but I would say give this place a shot. Maybe your experience might be different.

Lauren B.

Yelp
I've always passed by this spot but never thought to venture in. We got hungry and our bakery go-to was closed. Glad we stopped here though! Vibe is bright and colorful. Service is quick. Food was great with some close indoor seating or plenty of outdoor seating. We only got three tacos and split them between two of us as we wanted a light lunch / heavier snack. Once we ordered, the tacos came out in 5 minutes. We were not disappointed. Flavor is great and the protein was not dry. Their salsa, coleslaw, and taco toppings have great distinct flavor that pairs well with the protein. #1 Pork & Mango #2 Vanilla Bean Short Rib #3 IPA Batter White Fish We'll be back cause their menu has so many great things we want to try!

Louisa L.

Yelp
This place is pure joy! My bf and I came one Monday afternoon for happy hour, and these tacos were absolutely amazing! We tried the pineapple skirt steak, jacuzzi chicken, fried chicken, and pork&plantain tacos- every single one had a unique but incredible flavor. And they were all half off during happy hour! We had margs too, though they were a bit watered down, but I can't complain bc they were also pretty cheap. Overall, this place has one of the best valued happy hours I've been to in SoCal! 10/10 recommend.

Michelle L.

Yelp
So glad that this restaurant has lots of vegan options. I am at my friend here on a chilly winter day. The parking can be a little difficult, but both of us were eventually able to find parking. The restaurant itself is very small with only a small group of tables inside because of this, we had to sit outside. Luckily, they did have heaters outside. it was fairly busy and we needed a few minutes to look at the menu and the waiter took like 20 minutes to get back to take our order. I could see he was very busy but it was a little frustrating because we were very hungry. Overall service was really great. He was really nice I ordered, the pork and plantain taco, but made it vegan with soyrizo and beans and also order the cauliflower taco Vegan. Both were very delicious and I'm glad to see that they have vegan options here.

Jina K.

Yelp
We came here at 8pm on a Friday. There were multiple empty tables but we waited about 20 min to be seated. We noticed two cooks in the back and one young server. After we got seated one of the cooks came out to help serve. The man who was cooking his name was Carl or Carlos. He was very nice took our order after we waited awhile. Then we waited some more and he came back and asked if we were ready to order. We were like Um we already did. He checked his iPad and was like oh yes yes don't worry! Then in his defense the food came out shortly after. The food was very unimpressive. My 9 year old so. Got 3 ipa fish tacos and he was still very hungry after. My husband got three tacos of assortment of flavors. I got the pineapple steak bowl and the steak was sooo tough that I thought I was going to choke with each bite. My daughter got a smash burger and it wasn't anything special. Overall was very unhappy with this place. Would not recommend. For 6 tacos, one kids hamburger and a steak bowl our total was $88. My husband was so sad we didn't just go to the street vendor lol. If you're looking for fancy tacos... this ain't it.

Michelle T.

Yelp
Decided to give it a try, the fried chicken taco was bomb! They put some maple syrup on it and which all the flavors work well together... the blackened salmon taco was good but a little too much eel sauce.... ... and tge salmon was well prepared because most placesovercook the salmon but here it was pretty good l think they just poverpowered the taco with eel sauce but overall yummy tacos

Donald N.

Yelp
My friend recommended this place for his birthday dinner so we decided to give it a shot. I was expecting better but this place was average at best. This is a small mom and pop shop. Not an authentic Mexican restaurant. The service was good. Food was okay. The chicken wings was very salty and sour. We didnt like it at all. We spent almost $300 for 7 people.

amy o.

Yelp
Tried something new! What a find. We chose the Cuban bowl, steak bowl and short rib smashies. Pleasant staff, very attentive. Food was great and good price for what you got! My short rib smashies were the perfect size for my tiny appetite. Thanks for the great experience!

Kerry S.

Yelp
I wanted to LOVE this place, but thought it was just OK. I made reservations (because we were coming from out of town), but they were super slow. The waitress suggested sitting outside because it was hot inside. The only customers were at 3 tables outside. My husband ordered a margarita (no salt) and I got a Modelo. He hated his margarita (only took 1 sip). We shared the nachos with black beans... they were $15.00 and tasted pretty good. The have a large variety of tacos on their menu, and a few different beers/margaritas to choose from.

Cherie M.

Yelp
This place is an excellent spot to go to for any occasion! I took my partner here for his birthday and we were not disappointed. The service here was fantastic! They made my partner feel really special on his birthday. They made him feel so special that they brought him a serving a churros to celebrate. :-) We got to enjoy a fantastic meal that kept us full all day! The concha breakfast sandwich was packed full of flavor! The chicken chilaquiles was the best I have ever had!

Maggie G.

Yelp
Wish Pour Vida had more locations. Love their tacos, bowls and margaritas. Shoutout to the Anaheim location, service is always on point. Kimberly is awesome, always super attentive.

Rae A.

Yelp
We weren't really planning on eating tacos but when we were near the area for coffee - my sister suggested we get something small at Pour Vidas. On a Sunday afternoon, the crowds were coming, and a lot of parties had reservations. I was lucky with street parking but there is a garage down the road that is good for two hours. We were seated pretty quickly for our party of two. We were first hit by the sun and wanted to move an umbrella, but our server was actually getting an umbrella in the back to set up our shade. He was a great, attentive server! Shoutout Carlos for checking in on us numerous times, making sure we got all our sauces, and having a great attitude the whole time we were there. He really made our experience go from average to excellent. The food is delicious and though a little on the pricier side - well tasting dishes all around. I tried something new and ordered the Short Rib Smashie and was really impressed. I might order this as a regular now. It has tons of cheese, good helping of short rib, and a cute little ramekin of the consommé. I heard that they might be opening in Fullerton and Newport Beach and can only start planning when to visit. The service again, was great and really helped my experience here on a busy Sunday. Can't wait to see Pour Vida continue to grow and gain more (well- deserved) followers.

Karen B.

Yelp
Their happy hour runs from 2-5pm M-F; $3 tacos, $5 drafts, house wines and house margs. We came a few mins before HH and they pretty much expected for us to wait until it started to take our order so we could partake in the deals. Super nice and patient of them! Really really good tacos. I had the pork and plantain, pineapple steak, and IPA whitefish which were all so delicious! The meat was juicy and tender and their tortillas were definitely unique. Each taco was heftier and a little more filling than your average street taco for sure. The margaritas... were not a hit. There was just an overwhelming taste of bad tequila I couldn't get past, and I typically hate to waste alcohol but ... by friend and I could not down more than a few sips of their house margaritas. I did enjoy the tajin rim though. Definitely try to get street parking. There wasn't much when I went, so it was $12 structure parking for just 2 hours I believe so ... hustle for that street parking!

Jonathon G.

Yelp
Great place to eat if you are looking for one of those hidden gems in Anaheim! We love Latin fusion food and Pour Vida hits all the vibes and tasty options. Our server Syd was awesome and super attentive our whole visit and we were dining.

Brianna R.

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday afternoon after work. They had happy hour as it was around five. Their house margaritas, modelos, pacificos, and various tacos were on special. I had a short rib smashie, a pineapple steak taco, and a mango (I forget the name) taco. The pineapple steak taco was on special and had I not been full, I think I would've order many more. The meat was sweet and tender and the house made secret recipe tortillas are delicious. The magi taco was great but didn't compare to the pineapple steak. The short rib in the smashie was definitely a hit as well. The margarita was potent and yummy too. The residual ant is small, but there is outdoor seating with plenty of heaters. The service is quick and helpful as well. Definitely found a great happy hour spot.

Nikki B.

Yelp
Service: service was good. The server was patient with us as we waited for the rest of our party to come. He was attentive with refills and making sure we got what we needed. The place is very well ventilated.. which is important nowadays. The plates and dishes they use are actually super cute- haha. When we did order, all the food came out in a timely manner. The place is very well lit, clean and a great place to just hang out with people. There's plenty of parking that you don't have to pay for. They offer happy hour that I think makes this place even better! Food: the tacos are great. The tortillas are so amazing. It makes the taco. All the types they offer are excellent and they are a great portion. I would say 2-3 max is good for one person... actually two is pretty filling. If you get chips and salsa, the three salsas they offer are all great. I love that they give a variety. The fish taco is my fave. It's perfectly fried, greasy Ingres and not oily. The steak taco is also well cooked and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend this place!

Cathrine S.

Yelp
I really want to love Pour Vida because it's the closest sit down Mexican restaurant to me in downtown Anaheim! I feel like they could make a few small changes to really retain their customers. Location: 2/5 It's right on the corner of Anaheim Blvd. across from city hall, if you're seated outside it is extremely loud especially when ambulances and fire trucks go by (which is very often). Their outdoor set up is cute with bright tablecloths and chairs, but if they added any sort of barrier between their fence and the sidewalk it would really take it up a few points. Price: 2/5 I wasn't even aware their was a happy hour, but I believe our waitress mentioned it is Mondays-Fridays 3pm-6pm. During this time a few tacos are 1/2 off (wish it was all of them because the average price for one taco here is $5..) a few beers and their house margarita is also $5 during happy hour. I had the margarita and I would not recommend, it was very hard to drink and very strong.. I don't think it was mixed with the right proportions. I have had their Rumchata and I will say that is a delicious drink, but it's $14... Food: 4/5 I really do enjoy their food, the tacos are made fresh and their offerings are very unique. I would like to see complimentary chips and salsa.. they offer chips and salsa as an appetizer for $9!!! With three different salsa samples, only one of which is worth eating, one is extremely spicy (habanero), one is a mild red salsa (plain/soupy) and the only one that is worth dipping the chips into is the green (similar to an tomatillo/avocado creama) Overall I have enjoyed the food, but I can't say I think it's worth the price. Side note: They include an 18% tip for you (including to-go orders).

Yelp
From the time we walked in until we left. My husband and I felt at home in this restaurant. Carlos was our waiter and he took good care of us. The tacos are crazy delicious and flavorful, I tried the pineapple skirt steak taco, jumbo prawn taco and thr blackened salmon taco. The green chorizo smash burger was juicy and tasty. Not to mention the jalapeño michelada was on point to wash all this tasty food. Highly recommend this place and ask for Carlos!

Yelp
This place was delicious! My husband and I are currently doing low carb, so we couldn't have the tacos, but we will be coming back. We were able to modify our Chili Rellenos Huevos Rancheros to remove the tortilla and beans. The sauce was so tasty. The kids loved their meals as well. With my picky kids, that's a win!

Yelp
We veered visiting Southern California and decided to try this spot. Great location, staff was ok, food was good. Tacos are pretty expensive and you don't get much for the price, the ventilation needs to be upgraded or fixed. When cooking the restaurant filled up with smoke. The staff kept forgetting an order and when asked for a fork, a plate or something one staff would have to go ask another staff instead of just getting it. The fried chicken taco is nothing but popcorn chicken on a tortilla. It was good but not hand battered. If it was I could justify the price.

Yelp
Gold of the Incas Caesar Salad - 5* Ok this was surprisingly one of the better Caesar salads I've had in a while! I really love how they serve little pieces of tortilla chips mixed in - it adds the perfect crunch! It's a good portion and big enough for 2 people. Short rib nachos - 4.5* Very glad none of the nacho chips were soggy when this arrived to our table! The short rib meat was good - I just wish there was more cheese and guacamole added! This was a huge portion too and I felt near the end of the nachos there was more chips left than toppings. I'd still recommend. Short rib smashie - 3.5* Tons of meat and cheese inside, semi crispy on the outside, and served with a side of "hot consome for dipping". We kind of expected the consome to be (or look like) the typical consome served with birria tacos, but alas it was not. It was served *lukewarm* in a tiny cup that we could barely fit our taco in. Tbh it was still a pretty good dipping sauce, just not what we expected. Grapefruit Paloma - 2.5* Mehh. Nothing memorable and my glass was 80% ice, 20% drink. Service - 4.7* We came pretty late (prob around 9pm) on a Saturday night because the other restaurant we originally wanted to go around the corner was having a concert event and not open for regular dining. Merp. However service here was friendly, quick, and efficient. FYI They have a decent sized patio with lots of tables for outside seating and heaters for the colder nights. The patio is also dog friendly and they have an unseasoned hamburger patty made to order for our fur babies when they join us for a meal.

Yelp
The service was great, but the food was not good at least the tacos. They're not authentic tacos, very unique in taste and style but we didn't like them at all. The drinks were delicious. We had heard great stuff about this place and was disappointed when we tried the food. They are pet friendly and In a great location.

Yelp
Great little brunch place in downtown Anaheim. Chill vibe. Both indoor & outdoor seating available. 30 minute parking along the street, some spots are 90 minutes. Otherwise there's a parking garage a little ways down. Lots of choices on the menu. What we did end up ordering was all really yummy.

Yelp
Was so excited to come here today and was quickly disappointed. Arrived around 1:40 and knew what we wanted to order. We both knew we wanted bottomless mimosas. Took our server over 20 minutes to ask our order. He came back and said we couldn't have the mimosas because the cutoff was 2pm. Mind you if he would have paid attention to us we would have made the cutoff. We ordered a jalapeño michelada and brisket tacos....server came back and brisket was already out. He brought us a regular michelada...no explanation why. He seemed overwhelmed even though they weren't busy. The other server was great. I can't say enough about her, wish I would have got her name. Ughh I want to make this positive but there is more negative than positive. My red piñata margarita was so bad...one of the worst ever. Gonna finish positive...the smashies and prawn tacos were bomb...so if you go, order those!!!!

Yelp
I feel the need to update this review since I've tried basically everything on their menu: here are some of my favorite dishes: 1. Concha Bread Pudding French Toast! This is such a treat! Not too sweet but also not too dry. Always comes with berries as well. This is probably the most unique French toast I've ever had and try to order it every time I come for brunch: but alas, hurry! They sell out quick! 2. The pineapple skirt steak tacos: these have become me and my husbands favorite!!! The meat is always marinated enough. The meat is always tender! This is the taco I recommend to everyone that I bring here. 3. Rumchata: not only is this drink so refreshing, it's dairy free! It's made with almond milk but I have no idea how they mastered it to still taste very rich and full of that classic horchata flavor. 4. Chicken Molé Chilaquiles: WOW. I always get these from brunch and the molé sauce is to die for!!! I always ask for some on the side to make mine extra wet. But trust me when I say this; these are so yummy! 5. Habanero Chamoy Wings: yes, sounds weird but they're the best appetizer here!!! They're spicy, so be careful, but it's probably the most creative appetizer I've tasted in a while!! ALL The servers here are amazing!!!! Everyone! The manager Ana makes sure the restaurant is running in tip too shape! Tips: make a reservation for weekends on OpenTable. Park in the parking structure right across from it off promenade (they validate parking). Always save room for the churros for dessert!!! I've become a regular here & brings all my friends and family here. Such an awesome family owned business I'm so happy to support!

Yelp
Drinks were good. Beers were cold but it's pricy . $7 for a street taco. You would need 3-4 to fill you up and that's a $30 a La carte taco dinner . Cute decor . Fast service. Just pricy

Yelp
I'm giving this place 3 stars based on the value of the meal and the spotty service received. The tacos were pretty tasty (especially the ahi tuna and IPA battered whitefish) but $6-$7 for a single taco racks up the bill pretty quickly. Outside of the tacos, we also ordered the pineapple chamoy chicken wings. I'm a huge chamoy fan, but this dish just didn't work. The sourness of the chamoy was a weird flavor for chicken wings. Everything was a little too pricey. We paid over $70 for dinner for two and we weren't even stuffed. Service started out pretty good. We asked to be seated outside (to be covid "safer") and there were outdoor heaters so it wasn't too cold. We were checked on pretty regularly. Then mid-way through our meal, service became almost non existent. We had to track down the server so we could order more food. And then again had to track them down to get our check. FYI, they charge 18% gratuity on all dine in orders regardless of group size.

Yelp
I have been here a few times. Waitstaff is incredibly friendly and service is always timely and efficient. For me there's always just something missing in regards to flavor. I do love their grilled octopus! All and all I stills enjoy coming here and the jarritos mango margarita is always yummy!

Yelp
Came here tonight with a couple of friends. When we first got there, it was pretty empty. We ordered the truffle fries, nachos, and I got the halibut. The truffle fries were basically just a hint of truffle with tomatoes on top. I wouldn't recommend. The nachos were pretty good and had a good chunk of guacamole. My halibut was tasty but pretty pricy for what it was. Service was okay, wasn't amazing but wasn't horrible. When we got the bill they automatically put gratuity. Why put gratuity on a party of 4? I would understand if it was a party of 6 or more. I always tip, but felt like it wasn't necessary for a party of 4. Overall the food was decent, it was just a little pricy. I'd come back if someone else wanted to go but I wouldn't come back on my own.

Yelp
Good food and service. Super clean and a great spot to hangout, a date, etc. I got the margarita and nachos. It was superb. Margarita was strong enough to get me tipsy lol and the nachos were LOADED. I got it with short ribs and it was perfectly cooked. Not busy at all on weekday night
