"Pour Wine Bar, which closed on Broadway and NE 28th, has reopened under new ownership, according to a post on Nextdoor. Owner Alan Stevens posted about the wine bar’s reopening, though none of the bar’s internet presence seems to reflect the change: The bar’s Facebook page hasn’t been updated since 2016, and the website says the restaurant intended to reopen in August 2017. According to the Nextdoor posting, the bar has a new menu and a new coat of paint, just in time for Portland’s Summer of Wine." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

This places has a really neat feel to it, almost futuristic, with all the white chairs and glass walls & arched entry. I've always had a blast and been taken care of when I've gone. The owner knows a ton about wine, and is always down to hang out and share some knowledge. They're big supporters of local wineries, which is something that means a lot to me coming from a family with a winery that struggles to compete with cheap imports. Also, the food is good. Be sure to check out their happy hour!

Went here for the first time last night and absolutely loved it. Robert is a very welcoming owner/ host and knows his wines! He is all about informing you about your selection and is very detailed/ high quality service oriented. Even though the menu doesn't show the entirety of his collection, he does have quite a selection. Prices are reasonable as well. The food is amazing here as well, very flavorful and worth the money for sure.

I can't understand the low reviews. I've been here five or six times over the past couple of years, and I've been impressed with both the wine and service every time. On my last few visits, I have ordered the owner's choice bottle of red (around $15) and I have not been disappointed. In fact, I've enjoyed all the wines I've had here, as well as a couple of appetizers (very good cheese plate). Also, the happy hour here is insanely cheap: I almost felt guilty because the prices were so low! The only thing I don't like about Pour is the décor and it is what stops me from coming back more frequently. Space age, futuristic white chairs just aren't very inviting.

Good wine. Nice atmosphere. Nice location. 5 dollar happy hour pours were great. My only niggle is with the photos on here. They look so shiny and fancy it doesn't really match up with reality. The reality is 5 star worth so why set unrealistic expectations with those pics?

NEW OWNER- YEAH!!! The original owner, really knowledgeable, working on his masters Sommelier which is so rare, he knew his stuff. But unfortunately business acumen was not in his forte. A friend and I wondered by and it was open This area doesn’t have within walking distance any other place that is good for a nibble and a really great glass of wine so I’m thrilled. The owner is extremely nice and knowledgeable and I’m thrilled. Plan to support him and anyone in the area please give Pour a try you’ll be impressed

The owner is a very prestigious sommelier and knows his stuff. He even makes his own wine. The bar is fairly small but is a nice spot. Small appetizers available to go with the different types of wines. Yum! If you like wine then this is the place for you!

Warm and Engaging proprietor with an excellent ear for "cellar picking". Robert was able to pick the perfect summer bottle , not once, not twice, but three times using only my clumsy description for a suggestion. He returned every time with a perfect glass. Nice clean and tasteful interior with soothing decorative accents and MidCenturyModern seating...I kinda love this place. Great joint, great people.

Great selection. A well stocked cellar with great values for wine to go. Just ask. Great events and parties. The owner is very generous and hospitable. Update 7/10/2018. Was closed for a while, now open with new management, but still well worth checking out.
