Excellent « almost » speakeasy cocktail bar ! Located in a little street between the Old Town and the Port of Nice. Cocktails are exquisite and well elaborated ! The place is charming with minimal but very stylish decoration. Service is extremely professional and friendly ! Loved it. Will be back. Again 🍸👌

FINALLY a decent cocktail bar in Nice. Perfect service, ambiance and drinks at Povera…. It reminded me of a few of my favourite spots in London. This is a welcome addition to the cocktail scene in Nice and we will be back.

A hidden gem in the heart of the port area, this neighborhood cocktail bar offers a delightful escape with its cozy, intimate atmosphere. The cocktails are crafted to perfection, each one more delicious than the last. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the menu while engaging in lively conversation with the staff (Maxime and Damien), who were both knowledgeable and entertaining. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to discover more of their creative concoctions. Cocktails that I've tried: • Pêche tagete • Lya Vera (Virgin) • Super sorbet • Ischia Bonita (Virgin)

If you’re only going to one bar in Nice, make it Povera! At the time of our visit it had only been open just over a month and we’re so glad we found it. We go to Nice pretty regularly and this is the best bar and the best cocktails we’ve ever had here. Super service - extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable, great atmosphere - intimate yet not cramped, and brilliant cocktails - a small but carefully considered menu with cocktails that rival the best you’ll find in Paris. Great work team, can’t wait to return.

Fantastic visit, Max was a wonderful host and was happy to talk us through the choices and was kind enough to make my wife an off the cuff strawberry martini with their homemade syrup.... superb according to her! We will be back again before we leave Nice.

Vibey speakeasy. Crowded on weekends. Bartenders are really friendly and attentive. They do pretty good classics too.

Great service! Owner operators are super friendly. They have a large spirits collection to offer AND CAN MAKE A DIRTY MARTINI! As in the Martini is on the menu! Decent whisky/burboun selection. Cool atmosphere and vibe. Sit at the bar. We'll be back.

Finally, a real cocktail bar in Nice! Maxime & his team are so welcoming! Speaking fluent English and French, they expertly guided us through the menu to find something we would love. This isn’t just a bar, it’s a full experience. The making of the cocktails is a performance of art & passion! Can’t wait to come back!
