After several months of driving by without stopping when visiting this area, a common cold lead me to a treasure of gold. The market is SUPERB, Yes, SUPERB. The quality produce is extremely fresh, well priced and readily available in small quantities. Local and Regional honey sections in a variety of flavors and sizes. Quality food staples that make shopping convenient and affordable. The owner, Julie, is very personable and friendly. I look forward to many more visits and making this my main staple for food when visiting the Mesa/Gilbert area. Thank You Local Farmers.

Try to shop local when you can. This small country store has a little bit of everything. A great place to come buy local produce and handmade food goods. Big signs on Power Road to guide you into the dirt parking lot to buy some fruits and veggies at some great prices. There was even a small artisan fair in the adjacent parking lot when I stopped on a Saturday. It is not very roomy inside, so if you have a big group, a stroller, or a wheelchair, you might have to be patient and not in a hurry to shop.

Google
Prices are very low the people are very nice they have a big selection of local honey and jam and bread and candy I recommend this place to everyone

Google
In comparison to their sister location (off of main and greenfield), if you're looking to do a full produce shop def go to the superstition ranch mkt. Pro: Better website (if you care about that) Better POS system Less busy Con: Smaller shop, minimal sections Produce isn't kept as fresh as other location, you really have to make sure things are not moldy/passed it's prime.

Google
What a fantastic experience. We got so much produce and for far cheaper than we could at the grocery store. I regret having never checked this market out sooner. So much stuff, including a bottle of dressing, jar of blackberry preserves, and mixed olives for under $45.. highly recommend!!!

Google
Wasn’t impressed with my first visit. Most of the peppers, cucumbers, and other vegetables were wilted and old looking. I bought strawberries, which half were rotten or had mold on them. None of the items looked fresh. Prices are just a little below the grocery store and no where the quality. Sign out front was confusing, support local farmers “from Utah and Idaho”. Store is in Arizona. I won’t be back

Google
I love this place. I go here a lot. I really like all the choices of local honey and I also like the variety of other jarred foods like the salsas and pickled eggs. This is where I get the Cranberry seasoning rub for my roasted game hens and Thanksgiving turkey. I'm here usually once a month. It is a bit of a drive for me to visit here, but well worth the drive.

Google
great little place for produce, spices, salsas, and such. Oh yes, and roasted green chili!

Ashley C.

Yelp
Always friendly staff, and amazingly delicious fruits and veggies! They've also got local canned goods, salsas, sourdough bread, everything is clean!

You K.

Yelp
This "farmers market" is full of rotten fruits and vegetables. There is mold on almost everything. The vegetables are limp. Do not recommend.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Lots of fresh fruits, unique meats and dairy, and tons of interesting seasonings. I love their Everything Bagel seasoning, so yummy! This location does a lot of fun things around the holidays. Its definitely worth the stop.

Yelp
Unfortunately we met an employee yesterday who needs to learn some customer service skills.
google avatar

Yelp
We've come here a few times and left extremely disappointed. The prices for produce, especially organic fruit is surprisingly low, however the quality is abysmal. Purchased some strawberries one time and they tasted spicy like they were soaked in jalapeño juice, literally like a spicy margarita. We came back last week and the organic blackberries had mold growing on them, thankfully we checked them. I would be very vary of purchasing any fruits or vegetables from here.

Yelp
Nice variety of products and some rare items. Fresh fruits and veggies. Friendly service. Clean establishment.
google avatar

Carol D.

Yelp
Fresh veggies is what I was looking for. Left with some handmade soap too lots of freshness all around.

Barbara B.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and they honestly make eating healthy affordable. Great customer service, neat selection of produce, local dairy, meats, bakery items, some mainstream items, handmade soaps and candies. Love supporting our local farms!

Yelp
Went here for the Christmas light show they had. I loved all the decorations and cute animals they had. You are able to go inside a pen to feed various different animals such as goats cows and alpacas. They have horse riding and a small area for people to sell their stuff. They also have a section where you can do different activities with your kids or friends. I also enjoyed their little crate maze they had going on. This place is very beautiful and a budget that won't break the bank.

Marie V.

Yelp
Have been here a few times and while pricing is good, sometimes the produce just doesn't look as fresh as I expect.
google avatar

Yelp
Not going back. I gave the cashier $8 after she told me my total was $7.99. Before I left she said the total was actually $12.97, ok not going to get upset cause she made a mistake at the total. What gets me upset is then I told her I only have a$100 asked if she would be able to break it. She did not give me back my $8, so I gave $108 and only got $87 back how does that make sense? It didn't occur to me until I walked out what happened. I want to support local but how can I when you can't do simple math.
google avatar

Nicole K.

Yelp
Walked in with my kids no one spoke they watched us walk around looking at us kinda weird. No hello hi welcome in. You try to support small businesses but they don't appreciate it. Positive got a great amount of items for a beyond reasonable price. Not sure if we will go again due to first impression might just travel a little further to the one in Mesa. But if you want decent produce for a fair price they definitely have that!
google avatar

Kyrsten D.

Yelp
Good little farmers market! It seems cheaper than the regular store for what they offer and the meat is really good quality!
google avatar

Harmony P.

Yelp
Me and my Nonna decided to stop by while we heading down power road and I'm so glad we did instead of going to Walmart this was so much better We got Spinach Tortillas and a ton of stuff if I had a thousand dollars I'd end up spending it all here CANT wait to try everything there. Totally recommend stopping by when you can it's such a great gem in Mesa
google avatar

Liz P.

Yelp
This is the cutest little market with fresh local produce and all kinds of different honey, bbq sauce, salsa and candy. We really liked it and plan to return regularly.
google avatar

Krissy H.

Yelp
If you're looking for authentic green chilies this is the place if it's not that time of year they have them frozen They have some fun and unique things. It's a pretty cool place
google avatar

Carissa G.

Yelp
This store is such a gem and a treasure l! Affordable fresh produce with so many selections from all different types of pickles, organic snacks and fresh delicious fruit for way less than the big box stores. Can't wait to visit this store again
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
I grew up on small produce stands like this so to me it's nice when I see them still around competing with the large conglomerates. Surprisingly their items are really competitively priced. Selection is not as abundant as a large chain but I think all they stuff they do offer is of high quality.

Cindy H.

Yelp
Do not buy your green chili from here! Bought 1/2 a bag of medium roasted. The chili were charred and peels were black ash. Only had about 5 full size chili the rest were tiny and skinny and the way they were charred could not be cleaned or eaten! A waste of $45.

Yelp
There's really only two things I like about this place: the high quality of the food and the rock-bottom prices! For example, I go in there today and big, juicy lemons are 3 for $1; zucchini is 4lbs for $1; golden-ripe bananas are 3lbs for $1; thick heads of celery just 50 cents each; green-gold avocados 50 cents each; flavorsome Roma tomatoes 44 cents a lb; luscious organic apples 99 cents for 1lb; and on and on and on. You don't need a senior discount, or a shopping cart full of coupons, or a Black Friday door-buster special to get incredible deals here. You can bet your bottom dollar on that! As for the quality, well, that's pretty hard to beat as well. Imagine produce as fragrant as the breath of an angel; bursting with flavor; a feast for the eyes, tongue, and body - that will shake, rattle, and roll your taste buds with delight! You will savor the flavor with every bite, which is why I keep coming back here again and again and again. And to the person who left a one-star review because he (apparently) shows up at closing and expects to be treated like royalty and waited on hand and foot by a small, family-run business (likely operating on a shoestring budget), you just go to that other place. (Which, as it turns out, is owned by the same family! Ha!) Listen, there's plenty of ingrates in life: protesting the national anthem, the American flag, Thanksgiving, and the like, but the rest us have a lot of gratitude, at least for this little gem in the middle burgeoning urban sprawl, and we're not about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Thank you Power Road Farmers Market!

Eric V.

Yelp
Cute place and clean. They have a wide variety of produce and plenty of other yummy stuff to select from.
google avatar

Lin K.

Yelp
This is a cute fruit and veggie market I visited for the first time today. The people working there were friendly. They had some interesting canned goods and candy. I purchased some fruit. The blueberries I bought were not good. I didn't try the other stuff I bought. I miss the produce from CA. Don't think I'll be back.
google avatar

Khevin M.

Yelp
Fun little country store/market. Don't let the small size fool you they packed quite a selection of fruit, veggies, salsas, snacks and more! Looks like they got a lot of activities for kids around the farm grounds as well.

William P.

Yelp
Super cool place with good quality locally sourced food and niche snacks! The people that worked there were quick to make recommendations too so it was a pleasant experience!
google avatar

Brooke R.

Yelp
Love this place! So happy we moved right down the road! It's simple : Fresh Phenomenal Affordable Local Produce & Goods. I don't know how they keep their prices so low, but they're lower than grocery chains. Go here!
google avatar

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
We decided to check out this market after the pumpkin patch and we found so many goodies here! Their pumpkins are cheaper here then next door as well. They have a little of everything for everyone. From regular items to vegan items! I got some dark chocolate covered pretzels and they're delicious! My kids loved them too. They also have fresh bread and tortillas, but we got a banana bread loaf and it's definitely worth getting! If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by!
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Love supporting our local farmers... but if your headed to this place, don't even think about finding it without navigation! Blink and you'll miss it! Literally.
google avatar

Gene T.

Yelp
This is a good farmers market if you like the old country store experience. They are owned by the same people who have the one in Mesa on Main street. I came here to find whipped honey. They used to carry it at Superstition Ranch Market, but now do not. It wasn't here either, but a lot of other great items are. I was impressed by their large selection of homemade tortillas, preserves, and items canned in Mason jars. They even sell pickled eggs. The prices were low and the quality was good. It's a little out of my way, so I'll continue to do most of my shopping at the Superstation Ranch Market.
google avatar

Amanda W.

Yelp
I love coming to Power Road Farmers Market for my weekly produce. None of the big-box grocery stores compare to this market when it comes to price or quality. It is small and well-maintained and the employees are knowledgeable and friendly.
google avatar

Erica C.

Yelp
Nice variety of fresh produce and other food items such as homemade canned goods and tortillas. Prices are very reasonable, either comparable to Frys or better.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
I like it. Your typical side of the road produce stand that also has jams and jellies and pickles and tortillas and tamales and cold drinks. Really nice people coupled with excellent service. This one is right next to a touristy farm that has hay rides and a corn maze and other stuff. A fun place to visit coupled with fresh produce at good prices.
google avatar

Shannon L.

Yelp
I absolutely love this little market. Great produce plus all the extras. A great source for Hatch chilies when in season.
google avatar

Sherry K.

Yelp
I purchased a half sack of green chili from the market. It was 35$ to be roasted. I wasn't too impressed with the what I got for the price.
google avatar

Donna B.

Yelp
This is a cute little farmers market with quite a few gluten free options. They have candies, local honey, produce, jams, etc. They were very friendly. I recommend stopping to check it out when you are out that way. It's a little tourist trappy but it is cute!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the great things about living near farmland is... farmer's markets! Of course it's a little tricky to do here in the heat of the summer, but the Power Road market manages to stay stocked year around with produce that is fresh and for the most part local. It's a small Mom-n-Pop market, but they work with local retailers around the valley to bring in all sorts of different foods that go way beyond produce. They also roast fresh chilies daily, & sell locally made tamales and salsa too. The prices are what really get me. So many complain about the jacked-up prices of farmer's markets, but this place has always been either the same in price, or I pay even less. Plus, because most of it is local, the food lasts longer! If you're in the east valley, they are worth checking out and changing where you buy your produce. Buy local whenever you can!

Yelp
Heard about it. Needle in the haystack but I found it. They even had seeded watermelon. Very helpful. Helped me find what I was looking for and more. Check it out when in the area or just take a field trip. You won't regret it. I'll be back. Peace.

Mary Beth S.

Yelp
i don't know where these people are going but this place is awful. Went on Saturday and had a hard time finding anything that looked fresh, like a farm stand! Ended up buying some necterines( the worst, no flavor,) some tomatoes which rotted by Monday! No sweet corn available and prices were high! I've gotten better produce in the grocery stores. What a waste of time and money!!

Ralph H.

Yelp
overpriced, and the 2 bags of oranges we bought, tasted old
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Stopped by last Sunday on a whim at 3:45, not realizing they close at 4. We decided to take a quick look to see what they had, only to find that half the lights were off and lots of the fruits and vegetables were covered up. If you're essentially closing at 3:45, then mark your Sunday hours as closing at 3:45. You may have great reviews and tasty fruits and vegetables, but you lost us as a future customer. We'll continue going to Superstition Ranch Farmers Market.
google avatar

Terry W.

Yelp
This is a nice little produce market. He buys mostly from local farmers. The pre-made items (like tortillas, salsas, etc) are from local companies. Produce varies. One of the few places you can find okra during okra season, and it usually doesn't have the brown spots you find on the stuff in the bigger stores (on those occasions when they even have it). They are a bit pricey. But the produce is generally very fresh (helps when it isn't shipped from South America!). This is a family business. The owner and his daughter are there most of the time.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
Super fresh and friendly people. The honey and I love buying fresh stuff here. You may pay a little more but absolutely worth it!!
google avatar

Savanna B.

Yelp
Love love going to this farmers market, it's my weekly stop for all my fruits and veggies!

Tia A.

Yelp
i was enthused to discover this farmers market. HOWEVER my body had horrible reactions to the highly toxic product used to clean the floors. How can organic produce remain in it's great state when toxic air is around it? Such a huge disappointment....and then i had to endure a migraine from that horrible product used...... i would not even give a star, but that was not an option. Perhaps some change could be made to switch to a NON TOXIC floor cleaner. that product Fabuloso is so highly damaging. thank you

Yelp
Drove past this place many times until we finally went in to see about getting some fresh citrus. Their prices are good and cheap and good and expensive in some instances. For example - a head of cauliflower was 69cents! Two bags of fresh (and tasty as heck) tangerines were $3.00; I counted and while the sizes were not uniform you got about 15 per bag but a jar of their spices was $5. A lot of people were in there getting their shopping on and I was totally amazed by the flour section - oat, wheat, rye, coconut, you name it! There was a lot of local honey too but that was another one of their pricey to me items. And don't get me started on the variety of tortillas they had as well! I envy you if you live where you can shop here when you want to.
google avatar

Lindsay H.

Yelp
Love this place! We now buy most of our produce here instead of Sprouts or the grocery store. Only on weekend afternoons is it very busy and the selection of both produce and local, pre-packaged products (honey, cheese, bread, tortillas, eggs, tamales, etc.) is wonderful. They have many AZ items that are great for gifts for out-of-state buddies. The service is helpful and friendly and I like that even as a small store, they have carts for when I lug my curious toddler with me. Great prices and very fresh produce. We get tons of berries, Honeycrisp apples, lettuce, zucchini, peppers, and cucumbers for under $20.
google avatar

Krissy M.

Yelp
Such a cute market with a lot of good produce. It has a bunch of canned (in jars) goods. I liked the fact that there was a lot of local produce and goods. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Lizzie B.

Yelp
This place did not give very good impression. It is very small and the inside did not seem very clean. The food being sold here seemed extremely overpriced and not high quality. They did have an interesting selection of canned goods, but nothing I would want to cook with. There was a male employee who was walking back and forth throughout the aisles of the store and seemed to be staring at customers. He made me feel uncomfortable. Left the store empty handed and will probably not be back.

Diane L.

Yelp
Fruits are from Mexico. Veggies are from Chile. Not what I expected from a local Farmers Market. Two stars because of the local honey and other hard to find non-local products.
google avatar

Netta S.

Yelp
I was very disappointed by this farmer's market. I've drove past it a couple of times and finally decided to stop by today. My initial plan was to purchase some pineapples. Unfortunately, the one I picked up was very soft and had started to go bad. A swarm of gnats also we're flying around them once I picked up that one so I decided to move on and see what else they had. After that encounter, I decided to stick with canned items. The pickles I purchased are not good at all. They have no crunch. I am not sure what would cause this as I have purchased pickles at other farmer's markets and never had this issue. I did purchase some apple butter and it is very good. I highly doubt I will return to this location as it was a very long drive for me to get to and my first experience was below what I have come to expect as a result of my experiences at other markets.
