24-hour gluten-free dishes with vegan and keto options arrive when PowerSoul Cafe opens - Eater Vegas

"Dina Mitchell spent nearly 14 years developing Tropical Smoothie Cafes across Las Vegas and Southern California and then sold it all in 2014. Now she’s ready to try her hand at something she can call her own — the quick-service restaurant PowerSoul Cafe. She plans to open the first in early 2022 with 100 percent gluten-free fast-food that serves vegan and keto options with no GMOs and real fruit blended smoothies." - Susan Stapleton

Saw this place while driving the morth side of town for work. The sign caught my eye and I looked them up. Interesting experience, I'm familiar with locker and walk up service so that wasn't an issue. Parking was kind of a nightmare but it is to be expected for this area of Vegas. The offerings being gluten free and vegan options was greatly appreciated. Love that. The pizza honestly not something I'd order again based on the taste and texture. The calzone was really delicious though and the smoothie was mediocre. For the cost, the food portions were really very small so if you're on a budget probably not a good choice. Everything is expensive lately so I get that, but some of their smoothies being almost $20 is kinda high for me. I'd like to come back and try the breakfast sandwich just because but I won't go out of my way to visit.

I visited Power Soul Café on Spring Mountain at 3 PM and had a very disappointing experience. This was my first time going in person and the setup was confusing right away. The window says “dine in” in tiny print, but the large “Lockers” and “To Go” signs make it unclear where to order. I kept walking between the locker room and the to go window trying to figure it out. The only employee was inside on his phone and did not greet me until I rang the bell. He told me he had only worked there for one month. I was shocked that someone so new was left completely alone to run everything, especially after they just had a celebrity host promote the café. You would expect more staff on after that kind of exposure. With how overwhelmed he looked once I placed my order, I honestly wondered about the overall quality of the food and how consistent things can be in a setup like this. I ordered a small pizza, a drink, a cupcake, and keto bombs. The cupcake and bombs were already made, yet the wait was almost 20 minutes. There is nowhere to wait inside. The locker room is only lockers and the to go window is outside on busy Spring Mountain, so I stood in the cold the entire time. Another first time customer showed up and was never greeted either. We even asked each other if we were ordering correctly because no one helped us and nothing was clear. It felt like there was no system at all. When my order was finally handed to me, the pizza slipped and fell by accident. At that point, I just took everything and left. Later I read other reviews describing the same issues for more than a year. Based on my experience, I would not return.

As a Celiac on vacation, I was excited to find a place that is 100% Certified Gluten Free where I could eat everything on the menu without getting sick! Also, being open 24 hours is BRILLIANT! I had the nuggets, the pizza, and the cookie sandwich, and I was blown away!! It is by far the most delicious food I have eaten! I even went back the next day for breakfast.10/10 recommend checking it out if you’re in the Vegas area. We need a franchise in Utah. Us Celiacs in that area NEED delicious worry free food we can eat!! Keep me posted on when Franchising is an option. I am definitely interested!

I appreciated the lady's great intro to the cafe's quality ingredients & how the food is made. Great service from both her & the other employee. Good energy :). Test manager 3 is what what the receipt said. Keep her ! I had the 5 inch Keto pizza where the crust is made of chicken. (55g of protein). I was still hungry so I probably should have gotten a 2nd for the discounted deal she mentioned. I appreciate they have whey protein for the smoothies, all is gluten free, celiac safe, good oils used, open 24 hours & have a drive through which is convenient for a healthy bite in the night!

I've driven by here many times on the way to work and thought it was more of a traditional sit down cafe. I looked online to see your menu items before coming in so I wasn't overwhelmed by the choices and of course not knowing what all the ingredients were. I've heard of many , but not all of them. It's nice for people who need gluten free or a special diet. The young lady that greeted me was so nice and informative. I give it 5 stars just for her. The smoothies have different tiers and lots of choices in each. I chose to go with the Kismet Cloud which I see a lot of others chose the same thing. I picked it for the fruits and coconut cream which sounded delicious. It also has ashwagandha in it which is supposed to be good for you and I've never had it. I thought it would be sweeter , but it was not , but still pretty good and filling. I personally wouldn't spend $16.99 for it , but many people will just like they spend on many specialty coffee shops. I will come back to try a Traditional Smoothie and Soulful Smoothie on my way to work a couple times to check them out. It's nice that they offer food items like small pizzas , breakfast items , and snacks. I'm sure they are gluten free and all that for people with special diets. I wish you guys much success.

Absolutely loved the Kismet cloud smoothie and pumpkin-almond balls with vanilla icing. Smoothie good, so many healthy ingredients and all gluten-free? Absolutely a dream. If I lived in LV, I would be everyday customer.

I traveled from NY to go to the We Are Young Festival. My group got off the plane and wanted food and I immediately started to get nervous I would have to live off of snacks all weekend due to me having celiac disease. I opened my FindMeGf app and Powersoul was the first thing that showed up. Me not being able to eat out in NY due to cross contamination, called and asked my typical list of questions. Dylan answered the phone and gave me all of the information on how it is a certified GF fast food establishments specifically made for people with celiac disease. I was sold, and shortly after I got settled at my hotel I went over to grab food. I got the nuggets, cookies, and the best Strawberry Kiwi smoothie ever. While I was waiting for my food the owner came out and introduced herself and expressed her gratitude for trusting her food as someone with celiac. She expressed how she has started the very first GF fast food chain specifically for people who struggle finding food with allergies. They also have dairy free and vegan options. Needless to say I spent my entire weekend eating at Powersoul because not only is it safe for me to do so, it is absolutely delicious!!

I finally checked this place out after living here for two years! Even though the business park is usually busy, there were spots near the entrance for pickup orders. We were greeted quickly by a really kind lady who gave us a breakdown of their menu and even made some suggestions. I tried the vegan pepperoni pizza, my husband got the breakfast sandwich. We also ordered vegan chocolate chip cookies. Everything was so delicious and we were shocked at the low price!! The pizza is on the smaller size but I really appreciated it because it was a perfect amount of food and it paired well with the vegan ranch dressing. The cookies were so light and not too sweet. We will definitely come back here and I highly recommend this to vegans!
