24-hour gluten-free dishes with vegan and keto options arrive when PowerSoul Cafe opens - Eater Vegas

"Dina Mitchell spent nearly 14 years developing Tropical Smoothie Cafes across Las Vegas and Southern California and then sold it all in 2014. Now she’s ready to try her hand at something she can call her own — the quick-service restaurant PowerSoul Cafe. She plans to open the first in early 2022 with 100 percent gluten-free fast-food that serves vegan and keto options with no GMOs and real fruit blended smoothies." - Susan Stapleton

As a Celiac on vacation, I was excited to find a place that is 100% Certified Gluten Free where I could eat everything on the menu without getting sick! Also, being open 24 hours is BRILLIANT! I had the nuggets, the pizza, and the cookie sandwich, and I was blown away!! It is by far the most delicious food I have eaten! I even went back the next day for breakfast.10/10 recommend checking it out if you’re in the Vegas area. We need a franchise in Utah. Us Celiacs in that area NEED delicious worry free food we can eat!! Keep me posted on when Franchising is an option. I am definitely interested!

I appreciated the lady's great intro to the cafe's quality ingredients & how the food is made. Great service from both her & the other employee. Good energy :). Test manager 3 is what what the receipt said. Keep her ! I had the 5 inch Keto pizza where the crust is made of chicken. (55g of protein). I was still hungry so I probably should have gotten a 2nd for the discounted deal she mentioned. I appreciate they have whey protein for the smoothies, all is gluten free, celiac safe, good oils used, open 24 hours & have a drive through which is convenient for a healthy bite in the night!

I traveled from NY to go to the We Are Young Festival. My group got off the plane and wanted food and I immediately started to get nervous I would have to live off of snacks all weekend due to me having celiac disease. I opened my FindMeGf app and Powersoul was the first thing that showed up. Me not being able to eat out in NY due to cross contamination, called and asked my typical list of questions. Dylan answered the phone and gave me all of the information on how it is a certified GF fast food establishments specifically made for people with celiac disease. I was sold, and shortly after I got settled at my hotel I went over to grab food. I got the nuggets, cookies, and the best Strawberry Kiwi smoothie ever. While I was waiting for my food the owner came out and introduced herself and expressed her gratitude for trusting her food as someone with celiac. She expressed how she has started the very first GF fast food chain specifically for people who struggle finding food with allergies. They also have dairy free and vegan options. Needless to say I spent my entire weekend eating at Powersoul because not only is it safe for me to do so, it is absolutely delicious!!

I've driven by here many times on the way to work and thought it was more of a traditional sit down cafe. I looked online to see your menu items before coming in so I wasn't overwhelmed by the choices and of course not knowing what all the ingredients were. I've heard of many , but not all of them. It's nice for people who need gluten free or a special diet. The young lady that greeted me was so nice and informative. I give it 5 stars just for her. The smoothies have different tiers and lots of choices in each. I chose to go with the Kismet Cloud which I see a lot of others chose the same thing. I picked it for the fruits and coconut cream which sounded delicious. It also has ashwagandha in it which is supposed to be good for you and I've never had it. I thought it would be sweeter , but it was not , but still pretty good and filling. I personally wouldn't spend $16.99 for it , but many people will just like they spend on many specialty coffee shops. I will come back to try a Traditional Smoothie and Soulful Smoothie on my way to work a couple times to check them out. It's nice that they offer food items like small pizzas , breakfast items , and snacks. I'm sure they are gluten free and all that for people with special diets. I wish you guys much success.

I finally checked this place out after living here for two years! Even though the business park is usually busy, there were spots near the entrance for pickup orders. We were greeted quickly by a really kind lady who gave us a breakdown of their menu and even made some suggestions. I tried the vegan pepperoni pizza, my husband got the breakfast sandwich. We also ordered vegan chocolate chip cookies. Everything was so delicious and we were shocked at the low price!! The pizza is on the smaller size but I really appreciated it because it was a perfect amount of food and it paired well with the vegan ranch dressing. The cookies were so light and not too sweet. We will definitely come back here and I highly recommend this to vegans!

Very good gluten-free Pizza and further snacks in a very friendly take away service concept incl. Drive-Through. Highly recommended for gluten-free allergy or coeliac impacted persons. The prices appear to be high but the freshly made pizzas taste great and you get well fed with a regular hunger. There several more gluten-free food choices like bagels, bowls and a good selection of smoothies.

As a Celiac, I was so excited to hear that a 100% gluten-free restaurant was opening up. It's so hard to find a restaurant that can safely do real gluten-free food and I don't have to ask 400 follow up questions to make sure the food isn't cross-contaminated. I figured that a place with a name like "power soul cafe" with a giant orange slice logo would feature healthy foods. I imagined they'd have gluten-free sandwiches, bowls, salads and soups. Nope! This place sells the same gluten-free junk foods that I can buy at Walmart in the frozen section, but at a massive premium. They also sell $15 5-inch keto pizza and $10-$17 smoothies. Is this Erewhon? Speaking of pizzas, why are the pizzas so small for the price? 5 and 6 inch pizzas are not standard anywhere else. I can get the most expensive 10-12 inch frozen gluten-free pizza at any grocery store cheaper than $15. It seems like selling mini pizzas is going to do nothing but drive potential repeat customers away. As far as the rest of the menu, what seems like previously frozen waffles, previously frozen chicken tenders, bagels and mini desserts can be ordered at a walk-up window and then you go next door to go into an area where your order is left in a little locker. There's no place to even throw away your straw wrapper. I used the hand sanitizer pump to put my drink on so I could put my straw in. They need a table and a trash bin. I ended up ordering a $9 vegan "chicken" and waffle sandwich. It was 2 faux tenders, faux egg and 2 waffles that clearly weren't made in-house. As a Celiac, I'm so tired of only being able to get super processed junk food as a gluten-free option. Did anyone poll the gluten-free community what foods they're unable to get or that they'd like to purchase before creating this menu? Gluten-free food is already so expensive, I'm not going out of my way to go to a restaurant unless it's something I can't make at home or can't buy at the grocery store. Please reconsider the food menu. I don't see this place staying in business if they don't. Visited August 2024
