We ordered the Gamberi all’Aglio, but the shrimp was overcooked and tasted like it had been drowned in canned tomato sauce — no real flavor or seasoning at all. My husband had the Salmone Grigliato 8oz grilled medium rare Scottish salmon filet*, fresh lemon, fresh parsley, Kosher rock salt, sautéed spinach, parmigiano-reggiano, fresh parsley which was plain and not cooked as requested and no fresh basil did not see the fresh lemon nor the tasted the parmigiano-reggiano.
I tried the Burger of the Week (½ lb Prime Angus beef with cheddar, crispy onions, sliced tomato, garlic aioli, and fries). Unfortunately, it seemed more like the “burger of last week.” I ordered it medium, but it came out overcooked and dry, missing the sliced tomato and topped with an overcooked slice of cheddar. I showed my server, and his only response was, “I told them there was stuff missing on the burger, but they don’t listen.” Yet he still served it as-is.
Overall, I was disappointed with the food. The drinks were fine, but the service was slow, and the meal took a long time to arrive. I live in the neighborhood and always try to support local businesses, but after this experience, I won’t be returning.
If you want to just have Pizza and wine I guess this will be the place . But definitely not a bistro .In short, a bistro is meant to feel friendly and comfortable—somewhere you can enjoy good food without the formality of an upscale restaurant.
Regrettably, our visit did not meet the expectations we had for quality, service, and overall dining experience.
