Praia da Costa Nova

There is a wooden path that stretches a long way next to the dunes and the beach. It is much easier to walk on the path than on sand, but both feel nice 😁

Strong winds all day, it is not very crowded, so you can feel really small compared to the ocean, walking alone on the beach, hearing big waves and wind coming past you, it feel so good.

One of the most beautiful beach i have ever seen. Very relaxing.

Very nice beach with long and wide shore with nice and soft sand. Along the beach h there are a lot of wooden paths that allow you to enjoy a long walk with great views of the beach and ocean. Even though it was August the water was very cold so it is not nice for swimming. Also the coast is very windy.

Vivisted in February. Wide beach( can't imagine how busy it is getting in the summer). Was warm enough for a walk, nice to admire nature in action when waves struck the stone made up shore. Few restaurants are open and serve food and drink.

A large and beautiful beach, clean and with fine white sand, without shells or stones. Big waves and the unbridled power of the ocean.

Lovely clean beach with lifeguard and was easy to park on a weekday in early July.

Funky beach area where the beach shacks are painted in bold stripes of red, blue, and yellow. Very picturesque with a large park overlooking a marina. Some unusual sculptures in that park. I understand you have to be very careful when swimming.

This is a beautiful beach community near Aveiro. The striped houses reminded me somewhat of the Basque region in France. The beaches were nice and popular with surfers even in the off season. There were some other interesting mid and turn of the century homes.
