We purchased the cake of the month for June, which was a strawberry and cream cake, for our wedding! The cake was stunning and exactly what we were hoping for, not to mention delicious! We went into the bakery and were able to chat with the Baker right then and there, discussing what we wanted. It was very easy and seamless, and we couldn't be happier with our cake! We highly recommend Prairie Baking Co. to anyone looking for their wedding cake!

We used Prairie Baking Co. for our wedding cake and are SO HAPPY that we did. Elizabeth designed an extraordinary cake for us that was as delicious as it was beautiful. Our guests were raving about it. We saved some leftovers in our freezer and it continues to be a delicious reminder of our special day on each of our month 'anniversary' celebrations. I love a good strawberries and cream cake and this is one of the best I have had!

Elizabeth was wonderful to work with for our wedding! We ordered 3 small cakes to sample at home and decided to go with the chocolate caramel cake which was absolutely delicious! Not only was it tasty, the cake was a beautiful piece of art! Thank you Elizabeth and Prairie Baking Co!!

One of the best places in town! Every flavor of cake I get is my favorite, until I try the next one, which is also my favorite. The buttercream on their cakes is so light and not overly sweet, it’s perfection. And the flavors cannot be beat. All of the pastries and savory treats I’ve had have also been absolutely wonderful. Elizabeth and Christian are both amazing human beings who are so kind and thoughtful, it’s a pleasure getting to interact with them while getting tasty food!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake made by Elizabeth's Prairie Baking Co. At the beginning of the process we had no idea what we really wanted. However, she helped us discern our individual tastes into a combined vision for our wedding cake. We ended up deciding on Apple Chai and Chocolate Raspberry and a buttercream frosting for our Fall wedding. Stylistically she designed our cake to match our wedding invitation which was a special touch. My husband and I had a piece of each and both were absolutely luscious. The cake was a huge hit among our guests and was actually the centerpiece of our reception as we entered the room. We can't recommend Elizabeth highly enough!

I loved the wedding cake that Elizabeth made for my husband and I for our elopement in Maine. She worked with me via email after I requested a cake only a couple weeks before our elopement, sent a sketch and description of the ideas she had for the cake, and made it beautiful. The colors, flowers and decor on the cake were just right. We both loved it, and it was absolutely delicious! I'd like to try all her flavors. I would absolutely recommend Prairie Baking Co. and Elizabeth. Thank you for making our covid-era wedding feel like a more traditional wedding with your beautiful and delicious cake!

My partner ordered my birthday cake from here. The vanilla bean buttercream was the smoothest buttercream I’ve ever had. The caramel sauce added just the right touch of sweetness to balance out this perfectly delicious and not overly sweet cake. The addition of fresh flowers on the top was lovely.
