Such a fantastic restaurant I really loved it!! Our server was called Michelle, and she was amazing - attentive and kind, and made great suggestions when we asked for advice. Would definitely recommend for a group dinner. Absolutely don’t skip the tuna tartare and the mushroom toast for starters. All their pizzas are great, especially the fennel sausage and the mushroom. The burger is phenomenal. And the sticky toffee pudding is really nice! Rich and satisfying :) lovely place, everyone should go here

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Prairie Fire in Brookline, and aside from a bit of waiting due to my location, the entire experience was nothing short of excellent. From start to finish, it was clear this restaurant takes real pride in what they do. The food was top tier — rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Every dish showed attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. It struck that rare balance of being both comforting and elevated. Even on what seemed like a very busy night, the service never missed a beat. The staff stayed attentive, helpful, and kept things moving smoothly. The drinks were another highlight, crafted with precision and creativity behind the bar. A big shoutout to Justin, the bartender, whose skill and personality shined through in every cocktail — they were some of the best I’ve had in Boston. I also want to mention Ellie, who made my visit especially memorable. She was knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Her attention made the experience feel comfortable and personal, turning a great dinner into a truly standout evening. All in all, Prairie Fire delivered on every level: food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. It’s a spot that manages to feel lively while still being warm and inviting. I’ll absolutely be back, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Brookline.

I had the adjula pizza I think im spelling right. Waitress/tender said it was spicy, it was spicy but not insanely so. 12 inch 6 slices wood fired. Right in front of me actually really good I recommend. There's a bunch of pizza places here in Brookline this place is on the higher end.

Two important warnings before you go: First: Go only for the pizza. The salad is fine, but avoid the pasta and seafood. They are nothing special. The pizza, however, is worth it—and you can customize it with any toppings. We are big fans of anchovy and onion. Second: Watch out!!! They tend to burn the pizza. That is their style, expect a quarter of it to be charred black. If you prefer it less cooked, make sure to tell them clearly that you want it lightly done. Or you will be disappointed. As for the rest, skip it. The pasta was mediocre, and the desserts were forgettable.

We came in for a light Saturday lunch and it was fantastic :) We had a margarita pizza that was tasty, light and perfecty cooked. The fingerling potatoes were excellent and a very nice surprise. Thanks to the waitress for recommending them! All the staff were nice and helpful.

Delicious upscale restaurant in the Boston area. The prices are on the higher side so be prepared for that. The cocktails are unique in flavors, especially with cardamom! The apps are sharable but not very large. The entrees were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The pizza was great, neo-style and great as a personal or shared. The sourdough dessert was also very different and delicious, and not too sweet. Recommend coming here for the flavors, just be prepared to spend $$!

What we had Mushroom toast This is a staple on the menu, and for food reason. A very savory dish on delicious toasted homemade sourdough. 5/5 Steak tartare Fresh and tasty with brioche bread 4/5 Swordfish Perfect cooked. Nice smoky flavor as it cooked in a wildfire oven . 4/5 Dry aged duck Very tasty and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend 4.5/5 Sticky toffee pudding On the small side, but very tasty. Came with orange ice cream which was a very nice combo 4/5 Chocolate bread pudding I love bread pudding and this was tasty. 4/5 Next time I come I'll try the pizzas, which look delicious. Highly recommend!

Fantastic spot for some wonderful food and proper date night vibes. The food is excellent. Tried their salad, broccoli appetizer, burrata pizza for mains and plum cake for dessert. The dessert hits home, the pizza perfectly done and appetizers left us wanting for more. Their cocktails were delicious, I tried their brandy cocktail which blew me away! Their service was exceptional and our waitress was very attentive. Full marks for hospitality. These people know their food and drink. I’m certainly visiting again for more.

This place is a gem! I showed up a few minutes early for my table and they went out of their way to make me comfortable... a great sign but the best part was the food! They had a couple of off beat choices that I felt the need to try. 1st the stake tartar which is one of my favorite dishes had a very cool presentation. They actually served it on toast not with toast... and it could not have been more delicious or fresh! 2nd- they had a burger with aged cheese , pepper mayo and caramelized onions which I thought would absolutely be too much... it was not! It was amazing! I don't know how it worked so well but it did! Also the actual know how what medium rare is! Great staff, great menu and great food! 10/10

Loved this little place - we came down the alley to the "beer garden" with a bunch of hungry tired parent and college kids. Loved the ordering online process had a blast making up our names. The drinks came fast water refills were on par, food came when it was ready but pretty fast considering the quality Delicious - okay a burger is a burger 24 maybe I am a little country in that one BUT gnocchi delicious steak tartar so good and the pizza's rocked! For sure would do it again Also inside a little nicer but we loved the casual vibe outside.

My family got off of our flight late afternoon, and this restaurant was very close to our hotel. No comments about parking around here as we used public transportation and Uber to get around. We were greeted by a friendly host and sat down right away since we went at an off time. The waitress was attentive and checked in often to see if we had any questions on the menu. We ordered the Calabrian Chili Pizza ($24) and Burrata Pizza ($23), and the food came around 15 minutes after we ordered. They were prepared at the counter close by and placed in the wood fired oven to cook, and the flavor definitely rubbed off on the pizzas! The pizzas were around 12 inches in diameter and cut into six slices - I would say a hungry person can eat an entire pizza. The Burrata Pizza was nice, light, and the Burrata was complemented nicely by the tomatoes and pesto. The Calabrian Chili Pizza was my favorite of the two - loved the pepperoni and tomato sauce combined with the chilis and honey was a flavorful combo. The pizzas were nicely charred and sourdough-forward, but it was still hard to justify the steep price. Come if you really like Neapolitan pizza, but otherwise, you can find other places around that are more worth it.

The 4 of us ended here because one individual in our party wanted pasta and another was gluten free. The menu appeared to meet everyone's needs. They also had a solid drink menu. Our picky pasta eater had the fettuccine. It included meat- Guinea hen ragu. I was initially concerned she wouldn't like it when she realized it wasn't chicken but she loved it. We enjoyed the shishito peppers and heirloom tomato appetizers. Our GF diner enjoyed the chicken while another really enjoyed the fennel sausage pizza. Sadly no GF desserts available besides after dinner drinks. The sourdough ice cream was enjoyed by others. Good and unique. It was a little dark but comfortable with a good vibe- loved the fire. Serve was attentive and helpful in suggesting GF options.

Cute place with nice vibe. Brought my daughter and her bf, because she wanted to try it. Overall food was tasty. Brussels might have been our favorite. Portions were small so that after ordering what our server thought would be plenty, had to order two more dishes!

Awesome Neapolitan pizza! I got takeout from Prairie Fire while visiting Boston. I had the Fennel & Sausage pizza: the ricotta and onion + chives are a big part of the flavor profile. I definitely want to try more from the menu!

This place is delicious!! Great service, lovely interior, music isn't too loud (and good selections). We had the cheeseboard and two pastas; everything was great. Would love to come back again, especially for the broccoli pasta. Only downside is that the prices are a bit steep...

Decided to come here for our one year wedding anniversary after seeing all of the great reviews, but we came away from the experience unimpressed. It wasn't terrible by any means, but I didn't have too many really positive points, and the price for some of the dishes seemed a bit high. The actual interior design was quite nice, though the restaurant was a bit loud. We had a 6:15pm reservation and we were seated immediately in a nice cozy corner booth, which was much appreciated. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and nice as well. However, after the initial welcome, the service at our table seemed a bit rushed and cold - there wasn't much small talk and there were several times where people came to our table to drop off food, take plates away, or refill water without saying a single word. It was a bit strange, and it felt a little like we were being quickly pushed out the door despite only being there for under an hour total. As for the food, we ordered: Wood roasted oysters ($18 for 4) - I was really looking forward to these, but they unfortunately fell a bit flat. The menu said that these had miso kombu butter and crispy garlic, but they ended up tasting solely of garlic butter, and each oyster was practically drowned in it. I would have liked a bit less butter on these, as the crispy garlic ended up soggy in the pool of butter. The oyster itself had very little flavor, and I couldn't taste any smokiness from the wood roasting. There was disappointingly no miso or kombu flavor, and for $4.50 per oyster, I would definitely not get these again. Margherita pizza ($18) - Probably the most reasonably priced item that we ordered, but it tasted a bit bland. The basil was fresh, the mozzarella was good, and the crust had a nice soft and chewy texture, but in my opinion it could have done with a bit of salt sprinkled on the cheese before melting or some salt in the olive oil drizzled near the crust. The dough itself was quite nice, but everything on top could have used a bit more seasoning. Margherita is my favorite style of pizza, but this was not one of the better ones I've had. Malloreddus ($32) - This was a pasta dish with smoked Maine mussels, baby fennel, sea beans, and roasted garlic butter, and it was probably the best tasting of the three dishes we ordered. However, the portion size for $32 was quite small - I would have loved a bit more of the pasta even without any additional mussels. And even then, mussels are considered a fairly inexpensive seafood, so the $32 price tag was a bit puzzling for the dish as a whole, but it did taste nice. The seasoning was on point, and the pasta itself was nice and chewy. It was a dense pasta which my partner didn't like as much, but I thought it was nice. There was a citrusy taste to it as well, and the smoked mussels were the best bite of the evening - they were large and plump with great briny and smoky flavor. The extra green bits added some nice bite to the dish as well - a nicely put together dish albeit a bit small portion-wise. All in all, it wasn't a bad meal, but there was little that was memorable from the evening and the service was strangely cold and distant. I give it a 3/5, and I will not be returning with the current menu. I am curious to try some of the other dishes that were not on tonight's menu but in the Yelp photo album (it seems they have a seasonal menu, which is very cool), however, so we may return for an updated review in the fall or winter.

Prairie Fire is a true testament to its signature style of wood-fire cooking! I went with my group of 4, and we all had an amazing time dining on the unique, charred and Smokey flavor imbued in the food (aside from the pasta, which obviously wasn't wood roasted). The 'Nuda pizza may have been the best pizza I've had in Boston! The crust was soft was soft and chewy, and had that smoky flavor from its charred edges. It was like biting into freshly baked and toasted bread! The 'Njuda gave a pleasant, fiery kick that was complimented by the creamy straccistella cheese. Seeing as how Prairie Fire takes pride in their wood-fire cooking, getting one of their pizzas is an absolute must! Their wood roasted chicken was cooked to peak perfection! As you can tell from the way it glistens in the photo, the chicken was succulent, tender, and wonderfully moist! However, don't sleep on the pastas. Cooked to chewy al dente, both of the pasta dishes we ordered fully delivered on flavor. The fennel maldaldine was herbaceous from its arugula pesto, joined by the salty nuttiness from the pecorino cheese. The lamb ragu from the Malloreddus was tender and savory, complimented by the sweet charred cabbage sprinkled throughout. Overall, definitely come here with a group of friends! I highly recommend getting the full experience of this restaurant and taste the extent of their wood-Fire cooking!

Went w a party of five, and my partner and I got the wood-fired anson mills cornbread, squid ink fusilli, and burger - TASTE: 4/5 - the cornbread tasted comforting and the honey chili butter was a perfect side. Enjoyed the subtle combo of chili crisp and brown butter in the pasta. My partner was underwhelmed by the burger; thought the patty and fries could've been better seasoned, and wished the black pepper mayo came through more. Note: he has been to Prairie Fire before and says the pizzas are excellent TEXTURE: 4/5 - the cornbread crust was was crisp, while the inside was soft, especially when paired w the butter. The pieces of octopus and the fusilli pasta itself were tender. We thought the burger's hand-cut fries were a little too thick and fried, making the bites less satisfying PRICE: 4/5 - price points are a little higher SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - didn't think the squid ink fusilli would fill me up for dinner, but I was satisfied! SERVICE: 4/5 - our group made a reservation beforehand bc we knew seating can be limited. We arrived at 4:30pm on a Saturday. Our waiter was attentive w our order and water refills, and our entrees came out 20min after ordering ATMOSPHERE: 5/5 - an elevated space w industrial and rustic touches that extend even to the bathroom PARKING: 4/5 - got a 3-hour metered parking spot a few blocks down on Harvard St

Went for a pre-Valentine's Valentine's dinner and was very much wowed. This felt reminiscent of our favorite upscale pizza in New Haven, Da Legna's, with a bit more oomph. Loved the sharp cheese and spicy sausage (could it be nduja or a relative?) of the potato pizza and the liquid ricotta blobs with the sausage of the fennel sausage. The wood fired oysters were a lovely complement to the meal. The only minor disappointment was the bread pudding, which was good but not entirely exciting (the yogurty ice cream was nice, though). Looking forward to coming back!

I had an excellent experience dining here for the first time! Our server was super attentive and very communicative about any dietary restrictions or allergies. The servers were constantly refilling our water and checking to see if we were doing okay. Four of us ordered 3 pizzas and 2 appetizers. This was plenty of food because we were all very full at the end and ended up taking half of a pizza to go. We started with some crispy potatoes ($13) and the mushroom toast ($18). Both dishes were so tasty! The crispy potatoes were like smashed fingerling potatoes-- super creamy and silky on the inside with a delicate, crispy skin on the outside. The mushroom toast had a nice balance between crispy toast, buttery aioli, and tender mushrooms. Both dishes were seasoned very well and had a good balance of flavors. For pizza, we got the margherita ($18), 'nduja ($20), and fennel & sausage ($21). I loved how they are not shy with the pizza crust, which was pillowy and fluffy! The pizza crust had a subtle sourdough flavor to it and was super charred on the outside. Some people might not be a big fan of this style, but I for sure love it! My favorite was probably the fennel & sausage pizza. The sausage had a lot of flavor and I loved the whipped ricotta on top.

Literally one of my favorite restaurants in the Boston area- I have yet to have a bad meal here. The service is always impeccable and the wood-fired menu is incredible. Their menu changes seasonally but there are some staples that are always on there. It's a super cozy spot and would be a perfect place for a date night. Could not recommend them more!

Had a great experience having dinner here. Sat at the bar and had two pizzas and the Brussels sprouts. The pizza crust is thin but chewy, and so good! Highly recommend the brussels sprouts as a starter or side too

Had to circle back to update this review now that I finally ate inside the restaurant! TLDR: this place rocks and is definitely on track to become my new favorite spot in Brookline. I visit the neighborhood every few months to take my dog to a groomer nearby, so I'm always looking for fun spots to kill time. After eating in Prairie fire's pop-up patio in the summer, I was overdue for a visit inside the actual restaurant. As you might expect, the vibe is completely different from out back. It's super cozy with dark walls, warm lighting, and a long bar wrapped around half the space. The staff was so nice and very attentive--everything you want from a nice restaurant like this. Now for the important stuff; the FOOD! Sadly we only sampled apps this time around, but they definitely didn't disappoint. We went for a half dozen oysters from the raw bar (great quality with several kinds to choose from) and the Steak Tartare and Crispy Potatoes from the Appetizer menu. The potatoes were more of a side than an app, but the black garlic ranch on them is a must try. We had to ask for an extra side of it, it was that good. The Steak Tartare, however, was the star of the show. It's served on top of a thick and perfectly toasted piece of Challah, and is sprinkled with a generous serving of shredded cheddar. I've never had steak tartare prepared quite like this, but I definitely need to eat it again. I saw several pasta dishes and pizzas pass by our table that looked absolutely unreal as well, so I'll be back asap for a full meal. So happy I found this place!

Method: Dine-in Items ordered: Farm greens salad, roasted cabbage, margherita pizza, ricotta gnocchi Aya's favorite: the cabbage (surprise!) The short answer: Really delicious food with a cool, dark, modern ambiance that's perfect for a soirée, friendly dinner, or even a date. The long answer: Firstly I want to apologize for the partial images because I could not help digging in and eating a significant part of the dish prior to capturing. The food is all around delicious, the cabbage was perfectly charred and came with a Caesar dressing that I very much enjoyed (Looking at the menu today, I don't see it, so it must have been a seasonal item recently removed). Everything else was fresh and flavorful. The drinks looked amazing, and my friends said they were delish. Great place that I will certainly keep on rotation!

Pretty dark, largely lit by candle on the table. Service was good and attentive, food came out very quickly. The highlight was the crispy potatoes, they were delicious, highly recommend. Also got the fennel and sausage flatbread, it was average.

After a little bit of shopping, I popped in here for an early dinner. For a solo diner, the BEST seat in the house is at the bar. I enjoyed THE perfect Manhattan, farm salad, and pizza! The bartender was attentive as were all the staff I encountered during my visit. I highly recommend this spot and also suggest a reservation if going with others to avoid disappointment of missing out on a fine meal and experience!!!

Ambiance was great--love the open kitchen and being able to see the pizza-making process. The food was delicious, too. Asparagus was extremely well cooked and seasoned, although a little pricy for the portion ($16). The pizzas were awesome--love the fresh taste of the sauce, and the crust held up well (even at the center of the pie). Highly recommend the Chorizo Pizza!

Had dinner here this week with some biking friends. Nice ambiance, service and experience. The pizza was great. We had some good apps. The burger was just ok for $24. I will try it again soon.

Eaten in person and had takeout from here. It's solid pizza. Can't speak to the other offerings. Reminds me a bit of California style pizzas I had while living in the bay area. I like asking for it extra charred. Tomato sauce has good flavor and overall it's good for $20+ pizza. Crust is crispy and also has good flavor, properly salted. Recommend for the freshness and well-balanced flavors.

Fantastic find, even tho it's been there six years. Farm to table rotating menu, fantastic tap list, fairly priced and filling. If you haven't been, go. Not just a pizza spot. Was tempted to go full entree but had to try the lamb pizza. Definitely has a kick so be prepared. Awesome service, fantastic vibe.

My experience at Prairie Fire was AMAZING!!! My server Hayli recommended the drink 27 miles after I told her drinks I've liked in the past and it's my new fav ! Even on a busy Friday night you can really see the attention to detail and care that servers like Hayli have that really make your night. The level of knowledge the staff here has on drinks is next level and I will definitely be returning! Keep it up prairie fire I can't WAIT to see how the menu evolves over time from your newest regular :)

Delicious food, attentive service, nice ambiance. My family really enjoyed sharing several things. The mushroom toast starter was amazing. We also shared the Bibb lettuce salad, margherita pizza, and sausage and fennel pizza. The apricot cake was a great ending.

How can I eat anything not in a wood fired stove anymore?! All the food from the salad to pizza has been wood fired which you'd think may not work for everything, but IT WORKS. Everything had a smoky flavor and was just the right amount of crunchy and umami. I loved the roasted cabbage. The pizza (we got margherita) is probably one of my favorites with a thin crispy crust and sweet tomato sauce. Chefs kiss. Cocktails were okay I asked the waiter for the sweetest cocktail which was the 'six seeds' it tastes like pomegranate juice so perfect for me Will definitely be coming back!

There's good pizza? In brookline?? I'm shocked, I can't believe this has been here the whole time. First off, love the vibe - very dark, moody, and modern. The staff is great too - they were very cautious and communicated clearly when it came to food allergies. Plus, they made accommodations when they could! The menu in the beer garden is more limited than that inside the restaurant, so if you're here for the food I would try to get a spot inside. Pizza is excellent. I have been here twice and every pizza I had was great. Some of my favorites though have been the sausage and fennel, and the corn pizza. The wood fire oven is really working its magic in this corner of Brookline, so don't miss it!

Went here for a date night and the restaurant met our expectations. The vibes were very romantic with the dim lighting and dark interiors. The staff were very friendly. We arrived a bit early and got seated at the bar as we waited for our table. It took a while for our drinks to arrive, but the staff was communicative and checked without asking. We got two cocktails (royal skye and fire on the mountain). Both were pretty strong. After getting seated, we ended up ordering the lamb tartare, shishito peppers, wood fired oysters, and the squid ink campanelle. The squid ink pasta was definitely my favorite and most memorable. The tartness of the sauce paired very well with the pasta and lobster. The lobster was cooked to perfection, and the pasta had a nice chew. The other dishes were good but not as memorable. It definitely tasted like they were made from quality ingredients but lacked the wow factor. Looking back, I wished we tried the pizzas as the restaurant seemed to be better known for their wood fired pizzas. The restaurant is also very conveniently located a 2 minute walk from the Coolidge Corner stop of the C line, so I will definitely be stopping by again for the squid ink pasta and to try some of their pizzas!

We were walking around in Coolidge corner and saw the interior bar of this place and made a reservation on open table (which I recommend)! The best part about this place: the ambiance and the bartenders! The bar is dimly lit, but love the feel! The food is decent: but nothing blows you out of the water! I recommend sampling all the oysters: east to west and the wood-fired buttered oyster. The rigatoni pasta was also a decent dish: loved the way the bacon, Sungold tomatoes, and cheddar blended well together. Finally, the most unique dish I recommend is definitely the dessert: the sourdough ice cream. Like wait a min: have you ever had this?! It was so unique: the sourness and the acidity blended so well with the blueberry agrodolce and the crunch of the Heath bar! Take a couple of bites to get used to the taste and then devour. Enjoy!

Great spot for upscale - casual ambiance and Italian food! To start, the espresso martinis were both delish - my friend got the dark espresso martini and I got the creamy espresso martini so we got to try both and they were 10/10. I got the farm greens salad and it was great! Loved the addition of crispy onions. My friends got the Brussels sprouts and the spinach pasta which was amazing + homemade (not pictured). The Brussels sprouts were surprisingly really good and we loved the sauce that was mixed in. We went on a Friday evening and did not make a reservation, had to wait about 20 minutes and walk around so not bad at all. Enjoyed this spot and would definitely go back and try a pasta dish!

One of my favorite spots in Brookline! The Heirloom Salad with Walnuts and Apples is one of my favorites & I always love to start with the delicious Sourdough. MUST try their pizza! We typically always order one of their wood-fired pizzas (6 slices per pizza, typically share one pizza with sides for dinner). I always get a lemon drop martini and it never fails to taste great. The ambiance is quaint, rustic, and charming! There are options for larger dishes (pasta or steak), along with smaller to-share plates. Highly recommend trying in the summer, too! They sometimes open up a back patio where folks can grab beers and share pizzas. Always a place I recommend to folks who are looking for a bit of a more up-scale but affordable meal in Brookline.

Service was severely lacking. It's a pandemic, I get it. Our table and the table next to us were ignored for a long time. Food took forever to come out. Heirloom tomato salad was pretty small for the price. Not good. I would not recommend it. We also got this squid appetizer and it tasted old. We let the manager know, just to know and she quickly shot us down. I would not come back. She did not even hear us out. Lemon pasta was good but nothing special. A child's portion. Fennel and sausage pizza was good but you could go to Otto's for less and consistently better pizza. Lastly we had their fish on the menu and it was mostly burnt. We were still hungry after we left, while we were eating, and definitely did not order dessert. The service was bad (sorry), food was bad, and the wait was long. It was a 2 hour dinner. That was way too long.

Stopped by this spot for the first time yesterday, and had a truly wonderful time. The space is beautiful, modern yet cozy & definitely created with love. The oysters were perfect! The arrowhead cabbage was delicious.

Great ambience and pizza is cooked right in front of you. Thin crust, chewy (in a good way!), and sauce is great. This place is pricey, and the pasta dishes are pretty small portions. I would say worth it only for the pizza and ambience, or just drinks at the bar. In the summer the back patio is a beer garden as well which is very cute!

Great cocktails. Great pizza. Upscale environment. Service is solid. I think you could get better value for your pizza somewhere else in town, but this is provided upscale atmosphere and a solid slice.

Solid date night location with great pizza! We ordered oysters, spring greens pizza, garden salad, and spaghetti. I enjoyed the pizza the most -- the crust was delicious and toppings were fresh! The spaghetti was a little bit of a miss for me since the pasta texture was like ramen and the spice prevented me from tasting the other flavors. Finally, for dessert the carrot cake was moist and delicious. The vibes and service were both great! Not sure if I'd come back but would still recommend this as a solid, not so expensive, more upscale restaurant.

This would have gotten a solid 5 with exception of major misstep. Great ambiance. Great service. Raw Oysters. Amazing. Grilled oysters. Amazing. Margarita Pizza. Amazing. Beer. Amazing. Shrimp cocktail. Awful. Small. Mushy. Waterlogged. Told bartender very discreetly. She said she would let chef know. Got check. Not removed. No explanation. Didn't want to be "that customer ". But man guys. It was a simple fix and you ignored fair feedback.

From the moment we walked in, my husband and I were smitten. The ambience is dark and cozy, and we got a perfect corner table. Our server, Grace, was awesome and didn't bat an eye at all my allergies. She checked with the kitchen and marked up the menu, which had multiple vegetarian options too. We got the Margherita pizza, which was perfectly cooked with a chewy exterior crust, salty cheese, and sweet tomato sauce. I also tried the seasonal delicata squash gnudi, which was great, and had plenty of leftovers. My husband got the gnocchi which he enjoyed. I already want to go back to try more of the menu!

The pizza was average, but the bar service was poor by the bar tender that served a $76 glass of Whistle Pig Big Boss bourbon. The waiter never came back to check on me after I received my food order. I had no plate for 10 minutes. I called out to the bartender, I raised my hand, nothing! You would think the bartender would want to check on someone who ordered such an expensive drink, but no! Meanwhile, I watched other customers that came in to The bistro not only received all their cutlery and plates, but we're engaged in conversation with the bartenders, but not me. I wonder why?!?

Had the fennel and sausage pizza, was delicious. Customer service was amazing and would definitely go again.

Lots of bar and high top seating. Food comes out quick. Pizza is delicious. Recommend for a small group dinner. Service was excellent.

Been to Prairie Fire a few times and it never disappoints. My favorite place hands down in Brookline.

Been dying to come out here for awhile. The ambience is quite good, and I can tell the manager is trying really hard and putting up with a lot. I don't want to be too harsh, because the service was mostly good and friendly, and they made a genuine effort to seat us quickly and comfortably during a busy service. But our drinks did arrive long after our food did, and the entrees were frankly a bit tasteless and just not worth the price in quality or quantity. Even the house cheeseburger was underwhelming and somewhat dwarfed by the fries that accompanied it. I might come back for the pizza, which is wood fired and looked good on other tables, but only with a larger group of people to share. It's otherwise not going to be a regular date night place by any means.
