Prattville Farmers Market

Quite a small farmers market, most stalls sell the same products, BUT QUALITY is very much different. Last weekend I gotten some corn from the first farm stall from the parking lot and to say I’m quite disappointed in the corn I’ve gotten… Very much different from the farmers market I go to where they allow you to inspect and choose which product you want and how much (not by the basket or pint etc).

Our favorite finds: Caramel Kettle Corn, fresh peaches, and a Creole Crawfish Cheeseball!! Everyone was super welcoming and friendly.

Always a great selection of fresh produce and friendly people!

Pure excellence!! This is a local farmer's market with an excellent selection of local fruits and vegetables. It typically runs during the summer from June - August/September. Locally-grown tomatoes, eggplant, PEACHES (!!), zucchini, watermelon, even fresh local cinnamon and tea! I also scored some an amazing banana bread loaf, and locally-raised beef which I have yet to try. Every farmer we encountered was entirely happy to let you see, touch, and taste the products. That's the sign of proud people who stand by their products, and an excellent reason to visit. To cap it all off, there was a really lovely local bluegrass band serenading the market at 7am. A really nice touch. I can't wait to return week after week!
