A historical dining venue. Featuring Thai Royal Court cuisine. All the dishes were well presented and tasted yummy. Price on the higher side. You need to cross the Chao Phaya river to get to this destination

Edited: the restaurant is only accessible by boat on a specific pier, do not follow google maps as the location is wrong and will lead you to another restaurant instead!! I do think their opening times on Chomp needs updating and their location on Google maps. Food is good! Portions are generous and ingredients fresh. Overall an ok experience as we did not manage to find the restaurant correctly via road (Google maps) but managed after communicating with the restaurant.

Excellent traditional Thai food in a historic setting. Quality of ingredients is top notch, with an authentic taste. The highlight is the Traditional Thai pork soup with shrimp paste, a hard- to - find Traditional dish. Be sure to call and reserve beforehand as they will escort you on a boat directly to the restaurant. Truly a great dining experience. A memorable evening at Praya Dining, where I chose the Praya Course (THB 1,990 per person). The experience was more than just a meal—it was a journey through Thai heritage. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and invited upstairs to explore the beautifully preserved historic house. A captivating storytelling session followed, enriching our appreciation of each course. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, rooted in traditional Thai flavors, and elevated with a refined twist. The ambiance, attentive service, and cultural elements made the entire experience truly exceptional. We arrived by cruise from Phra Arthit Pier, which added charm to the evening. Booking in advance is highly recommended for this unique heritage dining experience.

Absolutely amazing! Chef Na is absolutely amazing and created such great flavors and textures with this meal. The best place I have been to in several years. Absolutely amazing. I give a lot of five stars, but I don’t typically rate places I don’t like. This is an incredible restaurant with a rich history. The food is absolutely amazing. We found this restaurant on the Michelin guide. I recommend one of tasting menu items. Chef Na created incredible flavors with the Thai regional dishes. There was nothing I did not like, as it all was amazing. This was a date night place for us and it was our best pick all year. The tasting menu has regional tastes from different (not all) regions of Thailand. The staff really appreciated our ability to speak some Thai with them and discuss the history of this location and Thailand. There is no doubt we will be back. I will also bring family and friends to this place. I provided a scan of the menu, so you can look over your preferences. I missed taking a picture of one of the dishes, but it will just have to be a surprise for you. By the way, you have to take a boat to get here. Simply call the restaurant and they will send the boat over to pier 13.

Fantastic food. Excellent service. The menu features historic dishes from Royal Thai cuisine. Every dish comes with a description of the history of the dish. Some dishes are made with mostly forgotten ingredients with entirely unique flavours. The Michelin star was well deserved. You can get there via boat from the pier across the river - just let the workers know and they'll call for the boat to come across the river and pick you up The set menu is fantastic.

Thai food you can’t experience everywhere! Transport - cool little boat ride across. Pier was not very well signed but apart from that, we figured out with provided instruction and boat arrived pretty quick to pick us up. Food - Most of the dishes were great in the set menu. Some appetisers were not the best however I believe that could be a personal preference. The soup with lemongrass and beef was surprisingly amazing, the beef in betal leaf was also a stand out. Drinks were also meeting the expectations. Dessert! Another surprise highlight. And welcome pandan tea was also a great start of the feast. Overall, great experience, highly recommend and would love to take my parents back one day.

PEOPLE, GO TO PRAYA DINING There was literally just us dining when we went and we were so spooked by that at first -- usually a terrible sign -- but then it ended up being one of the best experiences we had in our 3-week trip to Asia!!! What's up with the lack of people? I mean, yes it's out of hand, but that also makes it so special !! Yes, we almost gave up going as we couldn't figure out where to get the boat, but decided to use our Skype credits to call the restaurant. They picked us up by boat immediately (we were in the Phra Arthit boat stop #13). The boat ride was soooo nice!!! It's such a charm. Okay, now the food. Delicious. So good. The menu is wonderful, the extensive research done by the chef is laid out to you. I love that they divide the dishes in different eras of Thailand. I love that you can eat an ancient recipe researched by the chef. They also were able to do actually mild food for dishes that are usually spice, so super tourist friendly! <3 (my mom was full of gratitude) The only criticism I have is that the waiters were not present in the room for most of our dining time, which made it hard to order additional drinks and dishes. Well, we were the only ones there... Anyway, I super recommend it.
