We had a business dinner here, and it was a wonderful experience. Thus, location changes hands a few times, but so far, every new ownership has done an amazing job keeping it upscale. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and my colleagues all order linguini, and they all said it was excellent.

Google
Good foods, good place, decent service. Ordered rib eye steak, and it was good. Steak was having good char yet juicy inside. Sides also were good. Portion is very big. Pasta di mare also was quite good, with great portion, too. Cannot finish all the foods; didn't have room for desert. It was overall a good experience.

Prego Restaurant was a nice place for a Saturday dinner with friends. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and the food was good. My husband and I had the salmon and the lobster ravioli. We also shared the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. The dessert was my favorite.

Google
Love this spot! I just wish more people went there. Best dish on the menu for me has been the Lamb chops! And sliders for the happy hour menu also sooo good (not ground meat but filet steaks!)

Went to an event here and I cannot say a single bad thing about anything. The food was delicious, the chicken Marsala was marvelous, the soup wonderful, appetizer platter and deserts were delightful (especially the bruschetta ) and the staff were absolutely the sweetest! 100% recommend for a lovely dining experience and private events. Especially cosplay and costume events! Thank you so much for providing us an event space! We will visit again!!!

The front staff and servers were very friendly and did a great job. The location on the outer edge near the parking lot of the District makes it an easy go place. The food was very tasty. For groups or parties, they have a nice private dining room inside as well as a nice heated patio dining area.

Google
I want to specifically express my gratitude to the waiter yesterday (9/7) Delphino (I migh be misspelling the name - sorry) who had group of 7 people and did absolutely amazing and professional job despite our group was rather obnoxious. I keep coming back to this Prego for the lobster ravioli, they are my favorite dish. The sauce is absolutely perfect and the ravioli itself are so delicious. It does not look like big serving, but trust me, it fills you up. My favorite Italian restaurant for sure.

If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience in Irvine, look no further than Prego! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the inviting ambiance and the friendly, attentive staff. Our favorite dishes are the Australian lamb chops, they are absolutely to die for! But honestly, everything on the menu is delicious. You can't go wrong. I think what really sets Prego apart is the outstanding service. Shoutout to our favorite waitresses Alana and Kelsey, they always make us feel so welcome and taken care of. And compliments to the chef Ugo for the consistently amazing food! On our most recent visit, they even surprised us with a complimentary dessert, such a sweet touch that made our evening extra special. We've dined at Prego quite a few times now and it's always an amazing experience from start to finish. The food, the service, the atmosphere, it all comes together perfectly. I really can't recommend Prego highly enough. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out!

Yelp
This is a really good spot to come have dinner or simply just to have drinks. Ambiance is good for either celebrations and or simply date nights. Full bar seating if you don't want to wait. Service is always good here. Servers are super nice, bar tender is very generous as well. I've had nothing but good experiences coming here. We ordered the meatballs for appetizers, super tender, great pairing with mushroom and their sauce they put together. These are the dishes I would recommend, the short rib parpedelle, lobster ravioli, and the seared scallop. All fantastic dishes and always leaving us wanting more. It's a small menu, Italian food but it packs the punch. We have been here several times and always enjoyed the dishes along with dessert. Next time we visit, I'll be sure to try some of their steak options!

Yelp
The stars are allocated just for the staff here, everyone who helped was amazing! The food on the other hand left a lot to be desired, I was very excited about coming here with my boyfriend since he told me how good it was on his last visit. We actually were going to go somewhere else but I convinced him to come here instead. Unfortunately the restaurant did not put their best out in terms of food and beverage, we came just in time for happy hour and I ordered the drink something 1919, can't really remember. Very watered down, full of ice, couldn't really taste it. We ordered the short rib pappardelle pasta and the shrimp diavolo and tiramisu. The short ribs were actually chuck roast which a lot of restaurants do to save money but very deceiving to customers and not what we pay for. I told my boyfriend what he was actually eating and of course he wasn't picky. Shrimp diavolo was not spicy at all, didn't come with any flavor, I had to dress it up and it had lots of burnt noodles inside of it. I tried to make it work and suck it up but I couldn't do it after I ate the second burnt noodle and came across a 3rd one realizing what I was actually eating. I brought all my concerns to my waitresses attention and she handled everything excellently, she asked if I still wanted the dessert but after my experience with the drink and food, I had lost all confidence so I told her to just cancel it for me, which she did. So mad I forgot her name but she was awesome. Once again very great front of house waitstaff here and thank you again.

Yelp
We came on Valentine's Day and got seated pretty quickly and on time for our reservations. The ambiance and vibes was fancy and a good place to have a date at. Our server was very informative and fast. I was a bit bummed that we couldn't order from the all day menu and I was already prepared on what I wanted to order but had to change it due to the preset menu. We had Short Rib Papardelle - the short rib was very tender but I felt like the type of pasta that they used was a bit thick and heavy. Prob the best tasting on out of all the dishes I tried. Lasagna - this one was okay I feel like there was something missing in it, it wasn't hitting the spot Polette - meatballs with marinara sauce and garlic bread. This one was ehh too it tasted bland tbh. Overall I was expecting a lot of the food to have a boast of flavors. But I was kind of disappointed with the taste of the food. Ambiance and service was great but I think they can add more flavor to their dishes

Yelp
Prego is still a great Italian spot! Came the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to meet some friends. We arrived shortly before the end of happy hour so we were able to get a drink at the bar and then move over to the dining area. The happy hour Moscow mule was a good start to the night. For an appetizer we ordered cheesy garlic bread for the table. It was fresh out of the oven. Then, for dinner I had the seafood di mare. I enjoyed the large shrimp, clams, mussels, and pieces of fish. A couple of us tried another cocktail, the refresher martini, which was recommended by our friendly waitress. It was a really nice refreshing cocktail to have while we continued chatting. I appreciated that our waitress didn't try to rush us out at the end of the night.

Kori S.

Yelp
This is our go to date night spot. We love people watching and sitting at the bar gives us tons of fun, special deals when it's happy hour and on his nights the perfectly made drinks and conversations with Allan our favorite bartender.

Angela C.

Yelp
Went for a team lunch. They setup the table for 10 people nicely for us. The ambiance was nice and quite. We were able to talk and hear each us through with no problem although it was a big party. The food was delicious and went beyond my expectations. I am not a Italian fan and thought it would be just ordinary pasta. I was glad that I took the recommendation from the waiter and tried their lunch special. It was so good!!!! It smelled so delicious when the plate was put in front of me and I just dived in without a word. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Diana B.

Yelp
Service 10/10 *Maggie was great bartending and helping everyone out.* Also shoutout to Allen who covered Maggie and he was awesome as well. Ambiance 10/10 Food 10/10 We ordered calamari and the calzone and they both tasted delectable.

Morris C.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant, great service and great food. We had our holiday dinner here, and they provided us great service, and brought out the food in a timely manner! The restaurant is formal, but very relaxed. Great place to have a nice dinner, and some really delicious food.

Matt L.

Yelp
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Kelsey is an outstanding waitress -- so attentive and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Timothy T.

Yelp
This place has great pasta and great service. We had a large group and the staff took care of throughout the entire time we were there. The food was very tasty and came out fairly quickly. The owner is very nice and also spoke to us towards the end of the night. We had a good conversation with him as he gave us a drink on the house.

Ray C.

Yelp
Such a great Italian fine dining restaurant with a family friendly atmosphere. VERY kid friendly, as they catered to my daughter for everything she asked. They use high quality seafood and freshly made pasta. Oysters were fresh, lobster raviolis were a perfect balance between filling and pasta, and the kids portion was almost adult sized. Chef Ugo, our waitress Kelsey, and the hostess were so attentive and so happy to greet us. We appreciated their focus on our kid and ensuring she had a great dining experience. We've always just ordered Uber eats, and really enjoyed the food. However, we were so impressed with the service; I think we'll be dining in more often.

Jessica L.

Yelp
I won a gift card to Prego from a raffle, so we decided to use it for lunch (more like dinner for lunch). We arrived right when they opened, and it was pretty empty, which worked out perfectly since we had a toddler with us. We ordered the linguine di mare, Australian lamb chops, a kids' pepperoni pizza, garlic bread, truffle fries, a glass of sparkling wine, and an Austin Hope Cabernet. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the pasta portion was huge. Even the kids' pizza was massive! We definitely had leftovers. The host and our server were super nice and so good with our toddler, which really made the experience great. Honestly, we probably wouldn't have discovered this place if we hadn't won the gift card, but we really enjoyed it and can't wait to come back to try more of their menu. We will definitely get the ribeye next time.

Edilberto G.

Yelp
Everything about this place it's excellent! A friend of ours works here and it's our second time around coming here, this time to celebrate our friend's 26th anniversary. They really enjoyed their time there and the food was fantastic!!. Mia was our server tonight but everyone treated us splendidly, Edgar and Kelsey you guys also rock!! Thank you for making us feel welcome and in casa. And thank you for the desserts we absolutely loved them not extremely sweet they weee just perfect.

Kay D.

Yelp
This was a great dinner and frankly everything was delicious. You're obviously paying a little more for the quality and ambiance but it's definitely a place you'll be sitting at, chatting, drinking and waiting for a while for your mains. Everything was delicious though and the shrimps were my absolute fav. The oysters were also very fresh.

Marcia C.

Yelp
We came here for a retirement luncheon with my office. We sat outside in a really nice area for large parties. I have to say that the best part of our meal was our waiter. I wish I'd gotten his name. I can't remember when we have had such good service. He was attentive, and anything we asked for he said "for you we can do that." And we asked him a lot of questions. Everything that we ordered looked delicious. We had appetizers of baratta, and prosciutto on toast, cheese bread and garlic bread. Everybody got various dishes for lunch and everything looked really wonderful and the portions were huge! I had the seafood special and I took a picture of it because it was just a beautiful plate of food and so much! I took most of it home and had it for dinner. It was ahi tuna, scallops, shrimp, salmon, and whitefish, roasted baby potatoes, carrots and green beans. I'm not sure what the sauce was but it went perfectly with the dish. For dessert, some of us shared crème brûlée and I couldn't get a picture because people started eating it before I could get my camera ready lol. There was also flourless chocolate cake, some sort of espresso drink that looked yummy, Panna cotta, spumoni, and I'm sure there was more. Next time I get the pasta. I got something lighter because I didn't want to go back to work and fall asleep at my desk lol. I believe our office is thinking of having our Christmas lunch there this year. No one disagreed with that suggestion. Looking forward to more great food and great service.

Corey O.

Yelp
I recently came here with my wonderful girlfriend on July 10th and I've been waiting to rave about this place. First off our server kelsey was an amazing server, she was extremely attentive and made sure we were always happy, and very full by the end. The service was beyond amazing and I thank her for that. Second the food was amazing we got a charcuterie board, the pasta bolognse (off the menu but amazing) and the pasta carbonara. All the dishes were delicious and I absolutely loved it. Looking forward to coming here again and enjoying the wonderful service and amazing food here at Prego. (PS come on Wednesdays they have a hospitality night and most dishes are 50% off)

Horatio M.

Yelp
Food was great. Both appetizers and meal. Service was on mark. Ambiance is very nice. Would be 5 stars but as we were seated in the back close to bathroom there was a crazy soapy odor that was so strong it actually permeated and you could "taste it while eating. And made the evening far less fun Will for sure go back again but will never accept accept a seat in the back of the restaurant

Nicole L.

Yelp
If I could give a 100 stars I would. Thank you so so much to Prego for hosting me and my party! I hosted a murder mystery dinner party here in the private room with 44 attendees. It was an amazing night. The restaurant staff here were very accommodating. I had people with dietary restrictions attending and the restaurant bent! over! backwards! to accommodate them. We were still communicating the midnight before the event!! The food was amazing as well! Everyone enjoyed it and had a wonderful time! I added an additional hour to the room and even had the tables moved to the side to make room for ballroom dancing at the end of the night. Just an amazing time here, and I'm so glad to choose Prego as the location to host my party.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
The food here is delicious! I wish I took more pictures to share. The restaurant has a regular dining area and dining in the bar area too. Came here on a Sunday night. The place was pretty empty, which I'm surprised considering how delicious and authentic their food tastes! I ordered the Seafood Marinara and the pasta was cooked perfect - Al dente and you can tell that their pasta is fresh. We also tried the side of bread (additional $4) but it was worth the price, we ordered more! It's fresh garlic bread with cheese on top served with a marinara dipping sauce. Service was great, even though our waiter was a little confused and there was miscommunication about still wanting our appetizer.

Lyn D.

Yelp
This is now my favorite Italian restaurant. I LOOOOOVE Italian food, and it's so hard to find a really good Italian restaurant with good eats and great service. This place has both. I highly recommend ordering the Ciao Bread for your starter, because it's delish! Everything on the menu is amazing, so you honestly can't go wrong. When you're done with dinner, try the Flourless Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. MMM-MMM-Good! Love this spot, for sure!

Mark W.

Yelp
Prego is our favorite Italian restaurant... a combination of great food and warm service. Tonight we enjoyed perfectly presented sole accompanied by a light sauce, fresh vegetables and roasted potatoes. And, as usual... the service was provided by Alana, who always remembers us, greets us with genuine warmth, but also makes sure every aspect of our meal is perfect. It's a combination that leaves us with 'a Prego feeling' - maybe like being welcomed to a small coastal family restaurant in Italy, with big long tables and good friends. We keep coming back.

Emily K.

Yelp
Another one falls through the cracks :( I expected so much from this place knowing that it holds a high standard of taste and the reviews were so good. But I was wrong!! I even had a reservation for a prime time dinner. The restaurant seemed barely occupied with one host at the front. We got seated immediately at a booth. No trouble there. The server came over a bit later and got our food orders. The food took a while but we didn't complain-- then came the weird beef carpaccio. The sauce was all over the what seemed to be canned/deli ham that was slabbed onto the plate. Smelled pretty bad. Plus the tuna sauce on top smelled like cat food :( so sad.. When we had raised concerns about the quality of the carpaccio the server came over and argued that this is what it's supposed to be like and asked us if we ever had beef carpaccio. And how many times we had it before. It was quite rude how he handled the situation as to questioning us about the menu item. It wasn't what we expected and the taste was completely disappointing. There was also no pictures of this type of beef carpaccio anywhere on yelp. Bad communications in service and disappointing in the ways that they handle complaints here. Two stars for the Short rib pasta -- it was the best thing here. The meat inside the pasta was soft and hot.

Jaspreet K.

Yelp
Incredible service, and the food was delicious. Tasted very authentic and fresh, and full of flavor. Portions were generous but not overdone. Great date night spot, vibe felt intimate and relaxed, and every table was enjoying with their own party. 10/10 would recommend!

Anthony W.

Yelp
This Italian restaurant is in The District at Tustin. The atmosphere is wonderful (we sat outside) and I got the steak salad, perfectly cooked to medium rare. The pears and candied nuts pair well with the balsamic dressing. I also got the garlic bread with marinara, which was freshly baked and quite good (not super garlicky though). My friend got the salmon, and I tried a piece -- it was very well made. The service was wonderful -- they were very attentive but also gave us space to chat. Overall, I'd come again!

Gabriela V.

Yelp
So, I went to Prego for my birthday dinner, thinking "new place, new vibes." Turns out, not my best choice. The whole experience was just average, and honestly, a bit below average. The dishes were kind of meh, which was a letdown. Props where they're due - the service was on point, and the restaurant itself looked pretty snazzy. Like, they've got all the ingredients for a five-star joint, but the dishes just didn't hit the mark. Prego, you've got the setup; now, let's level up those flavors!

Keith D.

Yelp
The service is always great. The lobster ravioli is exceptional. I would recommend Prego for a nice dinner.

Katherine S.

Yelp
Came in on Tequila Thursday and got helped by Kelsey!! Aka our kickass waitress! My best friend and I got: -short rib pasta -Parmesan broccolini -calamari Calamari was super fresh with just the right crunch on the outside and wasn't too oily! Short rib pasta was extremely flavorful- would recommend. Parmesan broccolini was to be expected and a nice, healthy side dish. We loved our Cadillac margaritas ($10!). Would forsure come back again!

Pol M.

Yelp
We went there this weekend for our 19th wedding anniversary. It seemed like a nice place based on the reviews. We took both our kids with us to celebrate. They put us in a table by the front door. No fan fare for the special occasion unlike other restaurants we celebrated like The Ranch, Anaheim White House, or Roy's. The service was OK. The food was delicious and had great value for the price. Surprisingly, I loved the fried asparagus. We'll come back again but just lower our expectations for special events.

Albert A.

Yelp
Each time I visit Prego, the food is fantastic. Talk about consistency! But I want to highlight that I have had the pleasure of being served by Nikki in multiple occasions and each and every time it is as exceptional as our meal. Thank you Nikki!

Cesar B.

Yelp
Everything was great! We were seated almost immediately, very mellow ambiance and the food was perfect. So delicious thank you!

Stacy S.

Yelp
Came here for Easter brunch with my family. I had been to their Irvine location for lunch many moons ago, but this was my first time at their Tustin location. They're located at The District Tustin Legacy near the Guest Services/Valet area. Plenty of parking is available in the shared lot. I made reservations online and called to confirm. We arrived at our designated time at 11am and people were still waiting outside to get in as they hadn't opened the doors quite yet. When they finally let us inside, it took a few minutes before they seated us. They definitely weren't ready yet. They offered everyone a complimentary glass of champagne as they waited. The Easter brunch was a buffet for $62 pp. As soon as we were seated, we were told we could get our food. There were three buffet areas - one with the salads, pastas, pizzas and seafood dishes, and another area with a prime rib station, omelet station and eggs benedict. When we got to the first station, some of the food wasn't out yet. There also weren't any labels to indicate what the dishes were. This is very important as some people may be allergic to certain foods. The third buffet area included finger-sized desserts and fruit. In a nutshell, the food was tasty. I wish there were more choices though. It seemed like a limited buffet for an Easter brunch and I definitely didn't think it was worth $62! It's more of a $40 buffet, if that. For the price, it definitely should've included unlimited mimosas. Service was okay - they cleared our plates quickly but they weren't overly friendly or responsive. The restaurant is spacious and elegant. I think it would've been better if they had all of the buffet items in the bar area, instead of three different parts of the restaurant, as they weren't seating anyone in that area. Instead, people were coming into the restaurant as others were walking towards them to get to the buffet lines and it created unnecessary crowds. I would not return for Easter brunch again, but may give them a try for lunch or dinner.

Clint H.

Yelp
What proper Italian restaurant charges for bread? I'm thinking they have fake reviews because their food, service and ambiance are terrible. How can a place with such high reviews be dead and empty on a Friday night at 8pm? I'm thinking fake reviews. This place is dying and the waiters give that vibe. Waiter spilled a drink on me. Didn't say sorry. Didn't offer a new one. Didn't take it off my tab. Didn't do anything. Girlfriend's wine was from a bottle that had obviously been open for days. Charged for bread. Croutons in the salad were BEYOND stale. Pastas were bland with zero flavor. Even the short rib meat had no taste. Prices like that for food and an experience like that ? Save your money. Go elsewhere.

Brandon R.

Yelp
Prego was very good. Food tasted homemade and fresh. They had good Italian dish options. Totally recommend.

Kristin A.

Yelp
Came here for my dads birthday since he is an Italian food lover. Our waitress was great, prompt with the drinks and getting our bottle of wine we brought opened and ready to enjoy. We ordered a few appetizers and our meals and everything was amazing! We were all so happy with you selections and with our experience at Prego! I am not a pasta eater so I ordered a pizza and was able to share with others because it was so filling, but amazing! If you are in the area and wanting some good Italian food put this place on your list!

Lessa T.

Yelp
Service was excellent (Delfino was lovely)! Enjoyed the lasagna and pasta carbonate. Get the Panna cottage for dessert!

Adri R.

Yelp
The district has so many great dining options. It's hard to chose just 1. I was in the mood for Italians is looking at Prego or Luna Rosso. Both have similar rating and menu options. In the end, the Tiger Shrimp Pasta just seemed to good to pasta on. Who doesn't love lobster meat, tiger shrimp, crab?

Bill V.

Yelp
Prego is my favorite Restaurant in Orange County California. The food is top-notch, with great service and a classy atmosphere. Legit Italian food! If you want to impress anyone this is my top choice!

Alana T.

Yelp
Let's just say the food was good, our server was also excellent, and the atmosphere lovely in their private back room. When I walked in, I got there early, and the restaurant was mostly empty, and so was the bar. I went in and ordered a glass of wine, which I got on their happy hour price, I later saw $5 less then the menu price. When my friends came in, I told them to get their wine at the bar, they only do happy hour there and our server agreed. Two of my friends did and were turned back to our table, told that if they are having dinner, they can't buy the wine at the bar on happy hour. That was crazy, we eat out constantly in high end restaurants, no one has ever turned us away from the bar telling us what the bartender was told to say. Apparently their Supervisor Delphi needed to be consulted to approve this request, which I did. He was difficult and made us feel like he was doing us a one time favor. Because of his unprofessional behavior, I think we'll try Luna Rossa next time, located outside the AMC movie theater, where we were heading. It's funny, this used to be my favorite restaurant and a few of the other gals with me too at their old location on Michelson. But when you have a large group, and the bar is empty and they play silly games like they did, its a big turn off. There is no discrediting the atmosphere, the food, or our server, but their Supervisor doesn't have the class or experience to be in this upscale restaurant.

Yelp
Steak was cooked to perfection, and our server Nikki gave us extraordinary service. She is friendly & attentive, and we will look forward to sitting at her table again!

Kristina K.

Yelp
First time here for Mother's day . Very nice , friendly staff and good food! I ordered oysters and these were one of the best oysters I tried in Orange County.

Nani N.

Yelp
Came here for Valentine's Day and it was so amazing. The food was so delicious and it's such a great place for a date night.

Marie AK C.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on June 7, 2023 to celebrate a girl friend's birthday. I made reservations but not necessary for lunch on a weekday. It was our first time here and we were both craving Italian. Prego's is located at The District at Tustin Legacy. You can self park or valet. Inside, you'll immediately notice Prego's ambiance. It blends the warmth & rustic charm of old-world Italy with the trendiness and vibrancy of a cosmopolitan restaurant. Definitely a great spot for a date night or a business luncheon. We ordered calamari, a Caesar salad and lasagna to share. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The calamari wasn't fishy at all (something I always worry about). The service was amazing! Our server EFREN was phenomenal... incredibly attentive, friendly and professional. If you're craving Italian or Mediterranean, I highly recommend checking out Prego's!

Joseph S.

Yelp
Reception hostess was very nice. Slooow service. Waiter seemed to ignore us when there was no one else being served. Food was pretty good.

Kailee B.

Yelp
I was very pleasantly surprised on how on point every dish was made! Crispy Fried Asparagus with Chipotle Aioli Just enough breading, prepared crisp and fresh, and not too oily with chipotle aioli to give it a nice creamy texture to dish. Personally, I would prefer to have a little more chipotle to give it more of a kick but I guess the milder version would accommodate a broader crowd. The Refresher Martini Just like it's name, it's a nice refreshing but still strong drink, with subtle hints of basil and st Germaine for a nice aroma. I'm glad this wasn't too sweet a drink. This goes well with the Fried Asparagus. Carbonara with Fresh Yolk Wow. Never seen this dish presented this way--the pasta came with a fresh egg yolk--but it definitely elevates the dish. The egg yolk is meant to be stirred into the hot pasta right before consumption to give the dish the fresh silky yolkiness to the Al dente pasta. This is a beautiful dish. Tagliatelle Verde It's rich and creamy-- a very satisfying, simple but elegant, mushroom spinach pasta dish. Flourless Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Gelato Very chocolaty and denser chocolate cake that is not too sweet and pairs well with vanilla gelato that's atop of some kind of crumbs. Well presented and delicious. Chocolate Ganache Delight Was a little hesitant on ordering this dessert because not a lot of places make the chocolate mousse correctly but this chocolate ganache is so velvety smooth chocolaty with right amount of richness pairs with soft blankets of chocolate cake--it reminds me of Black Forest cake and it's married with rich creamy chocolaty mouse. A very sumptuous dessert. Our server Efren was very courteous, check on us often and provided great service. It was after the meal, we saw these awards and history of the chef. No wonder the food was so good.

Lupe A.

Yelp
Excellent service Juanito was the best he impress me the way he work is running everywhere and one thing I ask for a hot fresh chili I know that they probably don't have any in that restaurant but he got me one my choppino was the best I be back for sure . And i highly recommend PREGO . Ambiance is nice

Yelp
We recently came here for date night. RSVP process was super straight forward and easy on opentable. There is plenty of parking near the AMC side of the district or you can valet if you really want. Just note the main entrance is in towards the center not at the valet drop off zone which just goes directly into the bar. They do have happy hours daily 3-6pm for those looking with some small bites, cocktails and wines. But you must sit in the bar area! The checkin process was super smooth and they were very busy for a Saturday night so we got seated immediately. The decor is semi upscale but dark lit with candles on every table. There is a mix of booths and traditional tables especially for larger parties. The dress code is pretty casual but some people do dress to impress if you're bringing someone special. The menu has a mix of usual Item items starting with apps, salads, pasta and specialties. They do have daily specials usually with a premium protein that the waiter will tell you about when ordering. They do have a small wine list either by bottle or glass. If you want more higher end selection they have a separate wine list too. We started off with a bottle of Daou cab. Highly recommended in all vintages and great pairing for all proteins and easy to drink. Our waitress was in training so they went through the table service routine. Yeah all of that have worked in food services should know the routine of opening a bottle and presenting, tasting to patrons. A+ on service and technique for both trainer and trainee. For apps we started with calamari. It's served with a garlic aioli and spicy marinara. It's fried to perfection and well seasoned. Definitely a great choice for a classic starter. Mains: Tiger Shrimp Pasta: Flat pasta, lobster meat, tiger shrimp, crab. The portion sizes here are HUGE and probably enough to share one bowl with 2 people. This tiger shrimp pasta had a strong garlic seafood base sauce. The flat fettuccine pasta was slightly overcooked so more limp then ale dente chewy but overall a tasty seafood pasta with large whole shrimp. Short Rib pasta: Ribbon pasta, short rib ragout, mushrooms, fresh herbs, garlic. Again a super large portion size for one person! This again had the same fettuccine pasta that was slightly over. Again no its not fresh made as you can taste its from the chewiness. This has a great tender short rib sauce like from a beef stew. The flavor does get slightly mundane after eating a few bites though its just savory beef. The service overall a great! Our waitress was super attentive almost too attentive asking if we needed anything maybe every 15 minutes lol. But we understood since she's in training with the boss watching. Still a great place for a night out for some tasty eats for a date night or family night out. Alot of post dinner options available in walking distance to walk off that meal too!

Yelp
WOW. The lasagna was absolutely amazing!! I'm not a fan of marinara sauce & this was the perfect amount of taste and sauce to pasta & cheese ratio! I don't eat pork & this lasagna was beef only!! I was so excited and I finished it ALL!! It's very hard for me to finish my food lol, but I finished it all. Definitely would go back and get it again & again The servers were so sweet & attentive as well. The restaurant has a very nice elegant atmosphere. This place is a bit pricey so be aware of the prices, other than that 10/10 ‍

Yelp
Consistently great service and food, with a similar menu and lower prices than The Winery. A true gem!
