The 38 Best Restaurants in New Delhi, India | Eater

"Price Range: $ Unlike most naan in Delhi, which is merely an accompaniment to dips or meats, naan from the Punjabi city of Amritsar, at the border between India and Pakistan, is a meal unto itself. In West Delhi, home to many Punjabi immigrants and their favorite foods, naan-ghar (naan house) Prem Di Hatti stuffs Amritsari-style naan with fresh, house-made paneer, before cooking it in a tandoor and delivering it to the table with a smear of butter and a side of pickled onions. The joy is simple: soft crumbly paneer and fresh bread hot from the oven, paired with a thick, sweet lassi garnished with pistachios. Best for: Breakfast. Prem Di Hatti sells out as the day rolls on, so it’s best to visit early." - Sharanya Deepak

I was looking for some amazing Punjabi style kulche and found this gem. Situated close to the Rajouri Garden metro station on Blue line of Delhi Metro, this flavourful dishes. Tried Amritsari Chur Chur naan + Chole along with chilled sweet lassi served in kulhad. However, they need to improve the service, even though it was not very crowded during my visit.

Tried Chole bhature there. Yes it's one of the oldest shop there. Got freshly made bhatura compared to some famous shop which gives cold precooked bhatura. The taste was good. I would say it's pretty decent but personally didn't find it super special like the hype about it over social media. But definitely the food is good, it taste good, freshly cooked. So must try

Went to the purane Prem Di Hatti near Rajouri Garden Metro (Blue Line). Tried their chole bhature for ₹100 and namkeen lassi for ₹70. Taste was decent not out of the world. I feel the price is on the higher side : chole bhature should be around ₹60–70 and lassi around ₹40–50. Also, there are two Prem Di Hattis in the area : one is just Prem Di Hatti and the other is Purane Prem Di Hatti. You can decide which one to try but I went to the purane wale. Clean place, service okay, food fine if you’re nearby and hungry not something very special though.

This dhabba is located 100 mtrs from Rajouri garden metro station. Amritsari chur chur naan and soya chaap were very delicious. Air-conditioned sitting is avaliable and waiter will deliver at your table. A must try dhabba if your are in this location.

Used to be a great place earlier, but not anymore! The ambiance, the taste, seriously not upto the mark. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone, anymore. Prefer some other restaurant over this as, even though service is good, there's no point if food is not delicious or good. The buttermilk (lassi) was almost an icecream, can't even be considered as a "drink" at all! Chhole bhature? Drastically reduced quality!

Prem Di Hatti serves one of the tastiest naan thalis in Delhi—rich, buttery, and full of flavor. The place is small and often crowded, with barely any room to sit comfortably. But once the food arrives, you forget all the chaos. The naan is soft yet crispy, and the chole are perfectly spiced. It’s pure comfort food that hits the spot every single time. Despite the congestion, the taste makes it totally worth it. A must-try for desi food lovers!

There are actually two shops. It's very difficult to understand which one is old and original.Though both are equally attracting. The only negative I found was that Staff was soo busy that they didn't attend properly.

Recently, I visited this cozy eatery. Given that it was a Sunday, the place was bustling with visitors, and we had to wait for seating. Despite its small size, the warm ambiance added to the overall experience. I decided to try their Chur Chur Naan with Shahi Paneer, and I was pleased to see they also offered a chaap option for those who prefer it. The naan was delightfully crispy, providing a perfect complement to the Shahi Paneer, which had a decent and satisfying taste. One of the highlights of my meal was the lassi. Served in a generously large glass, it had a delightful rose flavor that truly stood out. The refreshing and rich taste made it a perfect accompaniment to the meal. I have also heard great reviews about their Chole Bhature as well, which many recommend as a must-try dish. Overall, this place offers a good mix of flavors and an inviting atmosphere, making it a worthwhile visit for anyone looking to enjoy a satisfying North Indian meal. I would definitely recommend it, especially for the lassi and crispy Chur Chur Naan.
