"The third Press location (after Graham and Durham) has opened in downtown Raleigh, offering some of the same European cafe cuisine that has made it one of the most popular brunch choices in the Triangle. In fact, Press serves brunch seven days a week. Aside from espresso coffee drinks and craft cocktails, the menu features savory and sweet crepes (the chicken Florentine crepes with chicken, onions, mushrooms, with a lemon vinaigrette and topped with eggs is a must-order) in addition to toasts, salads, and sandwiches." - Matt Lardie

Love to Smile

Google
Press is a lively restaurant in an easy to find location. We had to walk a couple of blocks, which I expect being downtown. We had the berry crepe, an iced vanilla latte and a hot vanilla latte. We placed our order to go, and enjoyed it outside. We got a message once our food was done. The message also said that we would get a second message when the rest of our order was ready. We never got the second message, so we went in to check on it. Apparently it sat at the hostess stand for a while because no one ever texted us to pick up the rest of our order. I would have given it 5 stars, but the young blond female with purple dye at the hostess stand was rude when I told her that our coffee was cold. She told me that she didn’t know who I was and directed me to the coffee bar. Talon was very kind and provided excellent customer service in making me a fresh cup of coffee. She was polite, friendly and greeted me with a smile. The restaurant needs more Talon’s.

Easy 5 star breakfast, lunch or Brunch spot. It was seriously so good! I had the lemon crud blueberry and my brother had the hash, I don’t think you can go wrong on their menuz. Sweet, savory, both! Excellent food and drink and service and atmosphere. Inside or outside dinning. Super clean bathrooms. Family friendly.

We came here for a light lunch. Loved the toast we ordered which had eggs and pesto. The savory crepe was just as good. However when we got dessert which was a sweet crepe, peach cobbler, it was inedible. The crumble was raw and bitter tasting and the whipped cream was weirdly tasting. I don’t know if they’ve changed their recipe ever since coming months ago but def do not get that crepe flavor if I were you. Overall, loved the seating and ambiance.

Google
It was really good! A unique twist on crepes. To be honest, it felt like a magical omelet with how much flavor was inside. The coffee was ok, nothing too special. I'd recommend the food over the beverages. The wait was horrible, almost 2 hours. Unfortunately I wouldn't bother visiting again due to it. I dont have that time to squander.

I've been to the Press in Durham and while that one is great, this one is just as great! The food of course is top tier, absolutely delicious in every bite, the lattes are fabulous as always and the waiters and waitresses are phenomenal. The only thing I'm mad about is that I didn't have a bigger stomach to eat more at one time. But that gives me another reason to keep going back for me. It's a great place.

Google
Yahir - gave outstanding service! It was my first time to this location. He gave an awesome recommendation the blueberry and lemon curd. My hot chocolate had a perfectly shaped swan on it. The attention to detail is amazing. Bathroom was clean, plenty of outdoor seating, and the service was outstanding .

We visited Pressed for brunch and overall had a good experience with a few bumps along the way. We sat outdoors, and while it was hot, the ceiling fans made it more comfortable. We had joined the waitlist online, and the host sat us immediately upon arrival, definitely a great start. Unfortunately, our initial server, Yahere, was not attentive. It took a while for him to take our order (which we didn’t mind at first because we were chatting), but throughout the meal we had to wave him down multiple times just to get water refills. Even worse, after waiting almost an hour and noticing tables that arrived after us being served, we had to ask him to check on our food. When it finally arrived, it was cold, clearly it had been sitting out. We politely asked for it to be remade, and though Yahere asked if we wanted to switch meals, we just wanted what we originally ordered. The service outside was disappointing and lacked the basic attention expected. However, things turned around once we moved inside. Deago took over our table and completely changed the experience. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, truly made up for the earlier service. The food itself was delicious. We ordered the hashbrown waffle with chimichurri steak and the hashbrown waffle with salmon—both were flavorful and well-prepared (when hot!). The Nutella crepe with strawberries was a nice sweet treat. The strawberry basil margarita and blueberry lemonade prosecco were refreshing, perfect for the summer heat. Do note: they serve room temperature water, but will happily bring ice if you ask. Despite the rocky start, Deago and the food saved the day. We’d definitely return—just hope to not be seated in Yahere section.

Had a great experience here! The food was flavorful and satisfying. The ambiance was also nice with a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Perfect spot for brunch.

Yelp
After 2 trips, food is the best, coffee great, service was a bit slow 1 of 2 times but no worries - still amazing overall.

Yelp
Food: We ordered the BLT Morning crepe and the Blueberry & Lemon Curd crepe--both were outstanding! The BLT was packed with crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes, and the pimento cheese made the perfect blend of flavors. The blueberry and lemon curd crepe was sweet, tangy, and incredibly fresh. Service: The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Our food arrived quickly and was beautifully presented. Experience: PRESS Coffee and Crepes is a gem! The atmosphere is cozy, the ingredients are high-quality, and the flavors are fantastic. If you love fresh, flavorful crepes and great coffee, this is the place to be. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
This is how it went: "I'd like a 12oz coffee please." "Okay" (rings up 3.75) "Oh, I saw you put 3.75, but the menu says it's 3.50" (She looks up at the menu that confirms what I said) "Want me to get my manager?" "Uh.. sure?" She leaves the counter. The line builds up. Great place you got there.

Peyton H.

Yelp
Our food was very good - BLT crepe and traditional hash brown waffle. Also got the banana bread latte! Our server was also great very attentive, idk his name but he had dark hair and glasses! There was a wait but it was quicker than expected and worth it! Cool atmosphere as well and food came out quickly.

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
Our server made this experience the best. It was a great time to be had by my daughters and I. While the food wasn't our favorite, the service made up for anything that was lacking!

Madison F.

Yelp
Had the absolute best brunch experience with my two friends this morning. 02/23/25 Dusty was our waiter and he was INCREDIBLE. Very crowded but seemed very organized to get seated. Great atmosphere. It's also really nice to be able to order a coffee while you wait for your table! New fav spot. Thanks again, Dusty!

Yelp
Great experience! The Raleigh location was amazing. We decided to eat outside as it was a beautiful day. The menu had great offerings. The coffees, were fabulous we each got one and shared a bit. I also got a mango mimosa and a guava mimosa. They were both great!! The crepes were great they had so many choices but I got the Carne Asada. It was delicious it included flank steak, feta cheese, lettuce, onions, pico de gallo and lemon. The steak was marinated very well. Every bite was savory. Our server was so cool! She was great fun and very responsive.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my breakfast here. I ordered the el mojito, a fried egg, turkey bacon, and matcha latte on the side. The matcha was creamy and really good. Service was prompt. While it was packed, I didn't feel like I needed to rush after paying. Would highly recommend!

Lauren D.

Yelp
The coffee was excellent, you could tell they use high quality beans. My boyfriend got the banana bread cappuccino which was delicious. The banana flavor was very subtle and not over powering. The crepes were also excellent! I had a hard time deciding what to get because everything looked so good. The servers were on top of it. They were attentive but not annoying. The restaurant is bright and welcoming. It was raining when we went so we couldn't sit outside but we will definitely be back to do that. I love the concept of Crêpes, it's so different from your standard breakfast. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in a new city and on the hunt for good food, I always rely on Yelp to guide me. While visiting Raleigh, my friends and I decided to check out Press, and let me tell you--it did not disappoint! Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but trust me, the food was absolutely worth it. I started with the Purple Rain, a chilled lemonade infused with butterfly pea flower, honey, and mint bitters. It was the perfect refreshing drink for a hot afternoon. For my meal, I went with the Steak and Egg Crepes: house-marinated flank steak loaded with red onions, green bell peppers, marinated mushrooms, spinach, and mojo sauce, all paired with scrambled eggs. On the side, I had their breakfast potatoes, and let me just say--everything was fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The service? Phenomenal. The staff really made the experience even better. Next time I'm in Raleigh, @presscccraleigh will definitely be on my list again!

Yelp
Wonderful first experience at Press! My friend and I walked from our hotel a few blocks over when staying downtown. We arrived about 11 on Sunday and it was packed, 45 minute wait, but this was expected so no big deal. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and spacious. Huge patio that wraps the front of the building. I love the To Go/Coffee bar to keep you busy while you wait. There's also bar seating and we got lucky enough to snag two spots so really only "waited" 10-15 minutes. Our bartenders were awesome! Very busy, but super friendly and efficient. One was the manager who stepped in to help. I thought this was particularly awesome of her. She was great. I had the iced Peach Vanilla Latte and it was a delight! Extremely surprised I liked this as much as I did. Very unique flavors. For brunch, I had the Country Hash. Great flavors, huge portion. The soft and light pillowyness of the crepe married well with the crisp potatoes and bacon, with a creamy complement from the avocado and sausage gravy. I'm a sauce queen, so always looking for more sauces, but overall it was outstanding. My friend had a hashbrown waffle situation and he enjoyed it but thought it needed salt/was a bit hashbrowny. I thought it could also use a sauce. Looked delicious though! I thought the prices were comparable and competitive with other places nearby. I want to say parking is pay per hour/lot/street. Overall, this is a great spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch/cocktails and I highly recommend!

Yelp
I love crepes and had been wanting to try this place for a while. My husband and I came on a Saturday around 1 pm. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes to be seated. While we waited, we ordered coffee and sat outside. I got the pistachio mocha, and it was very good. Unfortunately it is one of the seasonal flavors. It's nice that you can order that in the meantime. There were qr codes to order at our table, but we did have an actual server thank goodness. I just don't understand having a sit down restaurant with qr codes. Our waitress was pretty attentive and switched out my water glass when I noticed there was lipstick left on it. I got the lemon and blueberry crepe. It was huge! I also got a side of bacon. The bacon was thick but still had some crispiness. It was some of the better bacon I've had in Raleigh. I couldn't finish my crepe, so my husband got to try it. We both really liked it. I liked the atmosphere inside, but some tables are quite close together. It might be a little loud for some as well. I will definitely be back to try some other crepes!

Ariana A.

Yelp
Coffee was fantastic! Great options of syrups and milk alternatives. Crêpes and sandwiches were amazing as well! Portions and quality of food were excellent! Not to mention the beautiful design of the space!! Plenty of seating and lots of natural light. Looking forward to my next visit.

Courtnay B.

Yelp
Hash Brown Waffle is a must have! We also had the BLT crepe and it was good (and huge), but the hash brown waffle was the star of the show. Also enjoyed the most amazing pistachio latte, yum! Loved the vibe of this place. Service was ok. Definitely worth a visit for an amazing variety of crepes.

Maria D.

Yelp
Extensive menu and lively atmosphere! Huge outdoor patio, great for a nice weather day. Nice coffee bar with legit machine ... had a chai latte and it was beautifully presented. Service was good but our server asked us if we wanted our check before we got our meal - oops! Tried two different crepes - flavors were delicious, but one crepe had crispy edges - like it had been sitting under a heat lamp, that was a disappointment. Love crepes, so I'd give it another try or maybe come back on the weekend for the extended menu.

tammy t.

Yelp
Food was good. Coffee selection was great. Nice ambiance in the restaurant. Service was good.

Hayley P.

Yelp
Have always loved the Durham Press and was THRILLED when we finally got one in Raleigh. Going is like a special occasion for me. My friends and I love to get a savory crepe for ourselves and then a sweet crepe to split. :) This location is on a busier street in Raleigh so it may be difficult to find street parking. Luckily there are quite a few parking decks close by.

Stephanie J.

Yelp
The wait sucked but if you are in a rush you can place a takeout order or try to get a seat at the bar. We waited close to an hour but were finally able to snag two seats at the bar. For drinks my mom and I started off with a round of mimosas then split the south by southwest and banana creme pie crepes. All of it was delicious and the service was good. It is definitely worth the wait.

JA S.

Yelp
If you are craving crepes then this is the place to come. Fresh, yummy crepes with any filling you could possibly want. The inside is trés bien and a total vibe. Our waiter was kind, chatty and friendly. Coffee was high quality.

Jamie M.

Yelp
This is such a cute weekend brunch spot! We both got the chocolate orange cappuccino, a seasonal offering, but the menu is extensive with something for everyone--they even have kombucha on tap! Have to come back to try the food, the crepes look elite and the aromas are incredible from the moment you walk in. Great patio area as well for warmer days.

Lizzy G.

Yelp
Favorite spot in Raleigh! The food is incredible, drink options (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) are unique and delicious. We got a sweet crepe and a savory crepe and both were unreal. The stuffed French toast crepe is definitely a must. It's not too sweet with the cinnamon flavor added in. The portions are a generous amount. I got a salted pistachio latte and had to go back the next morning to get it again. We also had the chai latte aperol spritz and it was the perfect blend. Service is kind, energetic and matches the lively environment. Indoor, outdoor, and bar seating options!

Kelly S.

Yelp
great brunch spot. we had to wait a little bit but we got coffee while we did so. you can tell that at the beginning of the morning all the tables are on the same timing so get there right as the open or like an hour or so into it crepes were yummy and filling.

Debra G.

Yelp
Very nice space with both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty street parking which is free on weekends. Very friendly staff, Dusty was so much fun, kept checking on us and even said bye when my friends and I were leaving! The staff was super apologetic when they ran out of something I ordered but made sure my new order came out quickly with my friends which I greatly appreciated. What I had was flavorful, filling and I ate every bite. The amaretto coffee had a little kick, so delicious! 100% recommend!!!

Thomas D.

Yelp
Our experience at Press was terrific. It instantly climbed into our favorite restaurants in Raleigh on our first visit. To start, as you wait for your table, you're allowed to order a coffee at their coffee bar, which will be eligible for refills when you're seated. That was a very nice offering to leverage. The interior decor is very elegant. It has an old fashioned, but still modern feel to it. The food is the real star though, as it is at all of my favorite places. I ordered the Country Hash Crepe and it was terrific. The eggs on top were made perfectly, with a beautifully runny yoke when I broke it open. My wife got the blueberry lemon crepe as well and I got to finish that. If you like sweet crepes, it did not leave much more.to be desired. Both of our plates were generously portioned and delicious to the last bite. The service was also prompt and very kind to us. I can't recommend this place enough. The food is delicious, and the energy of the restaurant makes it feel like a truly special meal. I predict many celebrations in our future will take the form of.a brunch at this restaurant!

Al W.

Yelp
The food was great, although we didn't know that this was a crepe and cocktails place. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the breakfast food was. The service and atmosphere were also on point. We couldn't sit outside due to the rain, but the space would have been ideal for outside eating.

Kellie D.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped in here on a weekday for lunch. The weather was perfect so we asked to be seated on the spacious porch. We were seated immediately and two waitresses took our drink order. After that we were not sure what to do as there was a QR code on the table you could scan to order. We were preparing to order that way when a waiter came by and said he would take our order. I ordered the caprese sandwich on gluten free bread with rosemary herbed tots and my friend the avocado Caesar. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was very tasty. It's always a treat to have a sandwich because not everywhere serves gluten free bread. Generous portion of the tots as well! Cute place. I'd come back.

Allison C.

Yelp
Such a great breakfast/brunch spot and the crepes are delicious! The size of the crepes are pretty generous as well so the meal was pretty hearty. Coffee was excellent - definitely recommend the oat latte with lavender.

Bonnie J.

Yelp
Food was excellent just be prepared to wait. The service was wonderful. Casual and loud nice place to seat outside and wait.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Press The slogan, "European inspired, Carolina made", perfectly describes the amazing we had at Press in Downtown Raleigh . Our waitress, Meeka, kept us laughing, and the food was delicious. A few of my favorites included: -the Lox & Toast dish came with their made in-house salmon which is cured for 3 days and 2 days smoked which give it the perfect texture and taste. Served with sourdough bread, chipotle cream cheese, pickled onions, along with fresh microgreens and herb topping: I fell in love with this dish - Lemon curds and berries are my go to this summer; so when you put them in a freshly made crepe with housemade whip cream, you know magic's going to happen. -the seasonal Chicken Florentine Crepe was a bit too rich heavy for me but, this dish was very tasty and full of some of my favorite ingredients and topped with froached eggs, hollandaise, and green onions. A few of my favorite drinks included: -Espresso Martini: probably one of the best I've had in Raleigh. -Raspberry gin sour: light, fluffy, and full of berry goodness. -Purple Rain Mocktail:lemonade, butterfly pea flower, honey, mint bitters. Perfect for hot day. Our entire experience was great and we can't wait to go back soon.

Tyler H.

Yelp
Great way to start off the day. Had brunch at this spot that's right in the heart of the city. Outside seating was enjoyable. Crepes were soft and very tasteful, I will be visiting again soon

Saloni T.

Yelp
Perfect ambience and loved that you can get seated and place a quick order from your phone. Food was delicious. We tried the blackened cauliflower sandwich, and the french toast crepe. The interior of this place is well designed and so happy to have a spot like this in downtpwn Raleigh. Loved seeing staff throw away / reuse the water from our tables into the greens yay for sustainability.

Alexis K.

Yelp
It was my first time coming here and I loved the entire experience. I went on a Sunday morning and it was a little busy, but I was able to order a coffee and wait in their back seating area until my table was ready. Once seated, there was a QR code on the table. You could order at any time and there were multiple servers available to bring you anything you needed. The crêpes were amazing and I also tried the purple rain drink and peach blossom tea. It was a little loud but not too bad. Can't wait to go back!

Jason H.

Yelp
My family was fortunate enough to be invited to the soft opening, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff was terrific and were very supportive of each other. The place is in an nice new building, and I look forward to returning as they complete the outside seating area. I had the chicken florentine and it was perfect, it will definitely be on my plate again in the near future. My son had the down home and really enjoyed it and my wife had the peach chutney and Turkey and has been talking about it ever since. I am not generally a tater-tot person but I will never not order them here they are phenomenal! Definetly a very nice and something a little differebt for downtown.

Rachel R.

Yelp
Came here on a lovely Sunday morning for a breakfast date out with my daughter. Such a gorgeous spot with lovely decor! We sat out on the patio and it was so nice and breezy and perfect. The food and coffee was exactly what we needed (coffee only for me of course). Our waitress was so sweet and helped me with my breakfast choice since I didn't know what to choose. I got the hash brown waffle with sausage and egg and it was so yummy and different! We'll definitely be back!

Edgar A.

Yelp
Press Coffee is amazing! The crepes are delicious, the coffee is spot-on, and the cozy vibe makes it a perfect place to relax. The staff is super friendly too. Definitely my new go-to spot in Raleigh!

Gina S.

Yelp
We had a great brunch at Press during their opening weekend! When we first arrived around 10:30am on Saturday, the wait was 1.5 hours for a party of 3. Luckily, Press has a to-go counter where you can order coffees, pastries, or anything else on the regular menu. We grabbed coffees and a couple pastries to eat while we waited in their spacious outdoor area. Our wait ended up only being 1 hour and we quickly ordered food via their QR code online ordering system. Everything was tasty, just slightly expensive for what it was worth. Although the wait staff was great, we waited about an hour for our food to arrive. I imagine this will get fixed in the next couple months of getting a feel for their operations and I hope to go back and amend my review at that point!

Aslesha T.

Yelp
Banana latte was surprisingly good. Also got the salmon Hashbrown waffles - delicious! Our group shared a blueberry lemon crepe - highly recommend getting it while you're there

Ruby G.

Yelp
Popular spot but the wait wasn't too long. Our server was kind and attentive. Pretty and clean place, the food came out within a reasonable time. The crepes were great. Good for a brunch out.

Emily G.

Yelp
Cute brunch spot! Went on a Sunday around 10am and had no wait, but as we were leaving around 11:30, there were a ton of people waiting outside. There is inside and outdoor seating. You can either order through your server or via QR code at the table. I started with a latte which was delicious. I ordered the South by Southwest Crepe and my partner ordered the Country Hash Crepe. Both of us really enjoyed our food! Would definitely return.

Janine C.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The service was amazing. The ambiance and decor was nice. I will definitely be back here to try something else on the menu.

Kerri B.

Yelp
I love the ambiance , fresh modern open design. Then my latte came ! Perfect! Cheaper than Starbucks and you get a real cup with foam . The Garden Crepe with a side of breakfast potatoes was heavenly. Friendly staff , we had a lovely time.

Brooke F.

Yelp
Delicious food with a fun and interesting menu. Coffee drinks are great as well. Beautiful decor. Will definitely visit again.

Alexis D.

Yelp
If you are looking for a fantastic breakfast/brunch place, look no further! This place has the best gluten free options, and are so accommodating to allergies! My table got sweet crepes and hash brown waffles and everyone RAVED about their food! I got the traditional hash brown waffle with eggs and bacon and it was by far the best breakfast i've had in a while. Their fun coffee drinks are also to die for. It is so cute and full of light inside! I cannot recommend this place enough!! 10/10!

Jarret S.

Yelp
Gorgeous space and delicious food! Service was excellent. Seems a little silly to order via QR but also have a server to take your order but the entire staff was attentive and kind. We shared a few items and all were delicious and well plated. The latte we ordered was very good as well. It wasn't an inexpensive meal but overall was an OK value.

Tresa W.

Yelp
came here for the second time and had brunch. We grabbed a seat and Angel was our waitress. She was super knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly. I ordered the steak and egg crêpes. My husband ordered the corned beef hash bowl. both of our dishes were absolutely amazing and huge servings. The coffee is phenomenal. We highly recommend this place. Even the manager, even though her name escapes me remembered us coming on opening day and sitting at the bar having a drink. She remembered exactly what we ordered. Now that is Service.

Emily H.

Yelp
Went here on a Sunday morning since it's pretty new. We sat outside which was really nice. The aesthetic is really nice and our server was really friendly. We got one of the seasonal lattes, Salted Pistachio Mocha, and it was good. The mocha didn't overpower the pistachio but it was pretty sweet. We both got breakfast crepes, one South by Southwest and one Country Hash. Both were good, but the center of the country has was better than the edges. We also got the Blueberry and Lemon Curd crepe to share since we wanted to try savory and sweet. We both thought the sweet was so much better and definitely recommend it. Overall was good but we would probably only go back for the sweet crepes.

Melody A.

Yelp
Service was great! Food was wonderful. Went looking for a quick light meal. If ever back in the area we will be back.

Kellie B.

Yelp
Ambiance was perfect for restaurant. Service was excellent, waitress was attentive to our needs and able to make good suggestions. Peach latte was very good with oat milk. Espresso wasn't bitter. Never had a savory crepe before (I had the carne asada) but was pleased with the taste. The combination of ingredients was very good but I do wish there was a little more steak in it. Husband had the Carolina Comfort and enjoyed the sweet crepe taste with savory ingredients. We had peach cobbler cheesecake crepe for dessert (not pictured), I enjoyed the cheesecake filling and crunchy cobbler pieces however the peaches were more firm than I preferred. We will return.

Vincent A.

Yelp
I am a co-chair of a nonprofit organization in Raleigh, and we held our annual holiday party at Press in Raleigh. The team at Press was so accommodating when helping plan our event. They were able to work within our budget, provide exceptional service, and provide amazing food! Everyone at Press was so nice with helping us set up and take down, while providing 5 star service during the event. I highly recommend you reach out to Press if you need a beautiful venue for a private event!
