The atmosphere was great, and the coffee was enjoyable. However, the customer service was disappointing, as both the billing counter staff and the server had a poor attitude. A little more friendliness would greatly improve the experience.

If you’re in or anywhere near the Scottsdale Quarter and need a caffeine fix, Press Coffee is where you want to be. I stopped in and ordered the Peanut Butter Shaker, and let me tell you, it was delicious! Packed with protein and peanut buttery coffee goodness, it felt like I was drinking a workout… without actually having to work out. A win-win. I also got a Cortado, because balance is important—protein shake in one hand, bold espresso in the other. It was smooth, strong, and perfectly crafted. If you’re a Cortado fan, you’ll appreciate the precision. Beyond the drinks, Press Coffee has a great vibe—modern, clean, and full of people who look like they have important things to do but are happy to sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee first. They’ve got a solid selection of fresh roasted beans if you want to take the magic home, plus all the standard coffee shop offerings. I picked up a bag of their freshly roasted Sumatra. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I order the Peanut Butter Shaker again? Without question. Would I attempt to describe the Cortado like I’m a professional coffee critic? Clearly, yes. Am I a professional coffee critic? Absolutely not.

Google
Busy coffee shop right in the middle of all the shopping. There were lots pf people working on computers and others visiting. Lots of space. The baristas seemed to take their jobs seriously. Prices were reasonable.

Google
The only reason why I bother going here is because I work close by. The app doesn’t allow modifications for people who are vegan/veggie/ gluten free. I don’t know how it makes sense to add vegan chorizo to a burrito but not have the option to remove egg or bacon… I tried to call to ask for a modification but nobody answers the phone here. When I walked over the baristas were annoyed and rude when I came in to ask for the mods before it was made. I paid $13 for a burrito that was more like a pancake. It’s ridiculous. I cannot wait for the brunch spot to open at this center so I don't have to go to this wack coffee shop anymore out of necessity since they monopolized this mall in terms of coffee.

Google
Great coffee, friendly staff, and a chill atmosphere. Perfect spot to work or relax. Always consistent and delicious—highly recommend!

Google
Raspberry shortbread is great. Espresso is too acid for my taste. When I asked what coffee beans were used in espresso I was told to go read the label on the package on the shelf. They have a big map showing where different coffies come from. The coffee package had no info on what coffees were used in it. I felt like just another anonymous sale. Not likely to come back.

Google
Got there peanut butter shacker. The flavor just right not overly sweet like some of those drinks can be. Still had good caffeine kick too. Great location close to shopping and freeway.

Google
The coffee is great and tastes very fresh. I tried the americano and the nitro cold brew and both were awesome The bakery items are very good as well. We tried the almond croissant, cranberry scone and banana muffin that was surprisingly low in sugar and tasty

Angel D.

Yelp
Super fun space! The art is vibrant and the music is fun. Easy to read menu. Reminds me a lot of Dutch. Had the Nitro Cold Brew. 10/10. Crisp and the hood taste is enjoyable. Located in a private plaza right next to a brewery. Plenty of parking available when I was there in the morning. Probably gets really busy when brewery opens in combination of other restaurants. Great for work and study. Plenty of seats indoors and outdoors. Plugs are available as well!

Dulce L.

Yelp
Nothing better than starting your day with a perfect cup of coffee. Was in town for a graduation and was ready to take on the day after learning how good the coffee is. It's strong and I loved it. Waited 15 minutes for my drink. Very busy. Didn't disappoint. There is a hum of noise inside, a little difficult to talk among each other. Wouldnt recommend to study or do office work here. Besides this, grab and go is the feel here.

Sara M.

Yelp
Press has been a great place for me to grab my morning coffee before heading into the office. It's conveniently located in Scottsdale quarter and plenty of street parking in the AM. I love they are open at 6:30am and if you download the app you can put your order ahead of time for pickup and earn rewards! The place is sleek, clean and employees have been friendly. Above all, I LOVE their espresso. The beans are perfect and no bitter flavor. The drinks are made perfect every time and not too sweet which is great. I'll continue to stop in when I'm needing some caffeine for work!

HoyMay P.

Yelp
A tiny place with limited seating. There is also some limited outdoor seating. They have coffee, juice and shots. It was getting warm so most customers were purchasing juices. I tried their citrus juice and it was cold and refreshing. I had a sample of the Strawberry orange mango juice and it was tangy and fresh tasting. There is a washroom for customers. Shared street, free covered parking and valet. WiFi in the Quarter.

Nikki P.

Yelp
Honestly the coffee here isn't good unless you add a bunch of sugar & milk. It's expensive too - a small matcha (8oz) with regular mix after tax is over $6. Service is usually really nice and prompt too. The food is whatever! I keep coming back for the people watching & convenience.

Ken B.

Yelp
Nice little spot right in the commons shopping area. Good place to grab a morning coffee before you start stilling around the shops. Good coffee and lattes. Breakfast burritos and avacado toast if you want a light breakfast. Worth trying out if you are in the area.

Anna H.

Yelp
Service was quick and friendly even though there was a longer long. I would recommend stopping by if you need your morning pick me up. They also sell some pastries and small bites.

Juanita S.

Yelp
This one is my favorite. Si, it gets busy and the wait can be long but whos in a hurry. I like to sit here and watch the world go my with mi amor!

Jorey C.

Yelp
This place is popping! Great service, friendly staff always. I usually order the chocolate pb shake espresso because it is lower calorie and has a good amount of protein, and also what's not to love about that flavor combo. I will say the drink tastes different every time I order it. Sometimes it's more watery than others, sometimes the chocolate flavor isn't strong enough, but overall I still enjoy it. The honey shaken espresso is a good one too and that is typically good, I just like how the pb chocolate one has a lot of protein

A B.

Yelp
I'm happy to report that from my visit today the friendliness of the staff has drastically improved. The service and the making of the drinks has also gotten a lot quicker. The pastries looked lovely, and i even tried the croissant which was incredible. The ice latte was also delightful. Thank you for Press Coffee for making it more pleasant to visit this location .

Erin P.

Yelp
Such a bomb cup of coffee. So much so that we had it 3, yes 3, times in 2 days. Their black coffee is fantastic but at this location specifically we had their honey cinnamon shaker latte and it was divine. Recommend half sweet because it is quite the treat but it was the perfect decaf afternoon pick me up. We stayed to play cards and there was ample seating inside and out. A great stop as our car was charging in the lot.

Gloria A.

Yelp
I asked for a shaker no honey or cinnamon in it and the service was horrible. unfriendly atmoshere. They were acting out and talking about other customers very unprofessional.

John C.

Yelp
Overall really enjoyed my drinks here. I only drink cold coffee and their signature drinks were really good. I got the peanut butter based drinks and they use PB fit peanut butter. So it could honestly be advertised as a protein cold brew in my opinion. My friend and I split a breakfast burrito everytime we came here and it was really good. I'd come here pretty often if I lived in Arizona for sure.

Arpi H.

Yelp
Press is my favorite coffee shop in Phoenix. I haven't tried their food options except a lemon poppyseed muffin which is wonderful. Service is always great considering they're always busy!

Vanessa P.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place, but now I just have major concerns! It's a cute place in a nice area and it was busy. I ordered an iced matcha latte. I was standing by the bar watching as my drink was made and the barista was using the steamer on the espresso machine to make the matcha as normal, but a little of the powder must have been on the side of the cup or something and she actually bent over it and BLEW THE POWDER OFF. Absolutely disgusting. Don't go here. And if you must, watch them make your drink. I am horrified. We were in a hurry, trying to catch a flight so I didn't say anything. I just left and threw it away, but I will not return.

Ed M.

Yelp
Press is a popular coffee spot in AZ. Matter of fact I think I saw more of these than Starbucks. They had a decent black iced tea and a pretty good salted chocolate chip cookie. Price wasn't bad either (around $7) for both total.

Skylar W.

Yelp
I like Press Coffee a lot, so when I wanted to go for a walk and get some tea in Scottsdale I knew this was the right move! They had two brewed teas ready to serve, and I got the black tea option over ice. It was a bit warm at first so I know it was fresh hot tea, which I loved. I like the aesthetic of Press - minimalist and clean - so I love going whenever I visit the area.

Sam J.

Yelp
Perfect coffee, delicious pastries Great service Vibrant atmosphere and very nice location.

Brittany L.

Yelp
What a great coffee shop! They have a wonderful music selection, calming but still energetic. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. We ordered both a vanilla and caramel latte and breakfast sandwiches. I highly recommend asking for a side of the green chili salsa, great hint of spice! This is a great place to sit back and soak in the music and say, work, or even catch up with friends.

Raj T.

Yelp
Tried vanilla latte. Tastes much better than my regular starbucks coffee and cheaper too. Nice ambience, cool servers.

Elyse F.

Yelp
Press Coffee is a busy spot in Scottsdale Quarter. Even after the morning rush, inside is filled with people telecommunicating. Coffee itself is smooth, rich and rounded. No bitter notes. Flavor wise, iced almond milk latte really is an enjoyable beverage. Much better flavor than Starbucks. I do wish the almond milk had been refrigerated prior to being added to my drink. The drink was room temperature. It wasn't until the ice began melting, and watering down the drink, that it even became cool. I was looking for that refreshing factor. It is worth noting, there is a $1.45 upcharge was charged for almond milk. Grab and go food items are available for both breakfast and lunch. Burritos and avocado toasts are made to order. Bagged coffee is available for purchase. There are even some bottled and canned beverages. Signage indicates that orders may be placed via their app.

Yelp
This review only encapsulates my love of the Peanut Butter Shaker which is as far as I've gotten through the menu of Press Coffee - and need to go no further! Peanut Butter Shaker = Cold Brew + Agave + Almond Milk Creamer Does peanut butter and coffee sound weird? It shouldn't - both peanut butter and coffee pair with everything well, so why should they be mutually exclusive? This drink is a please-all beverage: suitable for coffee lovers or haters. It backs a punch with Press's strong cold brew (though the taste is smothered with pb perfection) with the protein from the peanut butter to make it the perfect pick-me-up snack on the go. Important: it's suitable for vegans! This Scottsdale Quarter location is a popular spot for business meetings, friends catch-ups, and remote workers. There's a lively atmosphere, but you can still find a feeling of privacy. Of course if you don't want to sit down, the Quarter is a beautiful place to walk around. Parking: the garages at the Quarter are free. They get packed in the afternoon, but are generally clear in the morning hours. Get a Peanut Butter Shaker!

Sam S.

Yelp
Every times I have been to Scottsdale, I always come here for coffee every single day. I love coffee latte here with otw milk. They're have indoor and outdoor area to sit and relax with your coffee. Also they do have some cafe food and pastries, that are good too. Service is nice and fast.

Erin Tevis T.

Yelp
Service was okay they were cool. My dirty chai latte was 95% espresso and 5% chai latte. This place gave me no reason to come back. They also did not write your name or what the drink was on the cup so I very much could grabbed the wrong drink but when they toss your drink up to the side bar yell your name and walk away it's kind of hard to figure out which ones yours.

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
I was hopeful this would be good. First red flag they dont have dark roast. Second red flag ---lots of foo foo drinks. Final straw took far far far too long for an americano. Baristas are slow. Sloth like pace.

Jessica P.

Yelp
Gave them another try and they do know how to make an oat milk latte. It could have been a tad hotter but hopefully next time! Can get noisy inside to have a conversation but the coffee definitely called us back. There customer service department is quite a joke and despite sending them 4 emails, nobody answers to get the rewards.

Ken A.

Yelp
Pretty cool tech vibe. Interesting coffee drinks. I had the peanut butter shaker, very interesting. It looks like everyone who works from home, works from here. Quick and friendly service. I feel smart Shen o am here

Hamo N.

Yelp
Really nice staff, good coffee, and the soyrizo burrito was really filling! I got the hot hazelnut latte which wasn't too sweet.

Holly B.

Yelp
Favorite café by far. You can tell manager Carrie puts every effort into making sure everything stays so perfect here. Chef Tom (who is one of my favorites in general) goes above & beyond. This place is always full of good and lively energy. There is no going wrong. And there is no such thing as bad press!!

Norm W.

Yelp
First time at this location. Service was good and coffee was hot. Enjoyed the ambiance.

Sake C.

Yelp
I've been to this Press location numerous times (have also been to the Press in Old Town, Tempe, Phoenix). Was VERY disappointed today during my visit. My friend and I ordered a cold brew each with lite ice, because we asked for less ice, they REFUSED to fill the coffee to the top. They stated it's due to cost control...so I guess they are saving themselves about 1 cent?! While completely falling short in business acumen due to their ridiculous penny pinching antic. *Lowered my rating to 1 star, after the lackluster response from the owner. Notice the apathy responses from the owner to all low ratings from Yelpers.

LAURENCE M.

Yelp
Devoted fan of Press for a very long time. Was originally in City North? While this is my favorite location along with the Roastery, the Quarter location consistently makes the best Cortado.

Mark D.

Yelp
The absolute worse. I mean so bad we had to laugh. Heard the cashier telling barista that I didn't tip. Yes I didn't tip on my 3.00 shot of espresso. So they decided to put me at the back of the line lol asked for my money back and the cashier acted all surprised. Was truly like a twilight zone moment hahaha

Paula O.

Yelp
Love the options in variety here verses other coffee shops. Always yummy! They're usually pretty busy from my experience but worth it!

Mallory H.

Yelp
Wonderful coffee! The peanut butter shaker is amazing! Genius idea to add protein powder to cold brew! The food is delicious. We tried to the breakfast sandwich and the southwest burrito and i can't pick a favorite bc they were both so good. The service was great- polite and fast. The atmosphere is nice and has plenty of comfy seating. I took my baby with his stroller inside and had plenty of room and space to hang out in the store with it all. Staff made rounds to pick up trash from your table so it kept the place very clean. Highly recommend!!

Matt C.

Yelp
Easy online/app ordering, always friendly staff in a nice environment with fast free Wifi. Breakfast sandwich is much better than those of the chains. Nice indoor and outdoor seating as well.

Urba M.

Yelp
Tried the peanut butter chocolate and the cinnamon honey shakers. A delightfully refreshing way to beat the heat and get your dose of caffeine while you're at it. Open space and seating both indoors and outdoors. Their cold brews looked good as well, I might try that the next time around. Will be back!

Nicolas N.

Yelp
Good chai and matcha here. I didn't try the coffee but the place smells amazing and I'll bet the straight coffee &espresso is good. There are only a couple of street-parking spots here, but plenty of parking in the underground (shady & cool!) public garage nearby. I came to work but wasn't able too... they offer varied and comfy indoor seating and some outlets too, but they'll all be taken if it is marked "busy" in the app. No outdoor outlets, but pleasantly shady outdoor seating. I'll come back when it is less busy!

Mishel D.

Yelp
Good quality coffee and good breakfast options. Shakers are my personal favorite but their iced tea is a good choice in a hot morning. Take advantage of their order online option!

Michiel S.

Yelp
Thank you for your response; it is exactly what they tell me at the counter. Every other coffee place manages to heat the milk without burning it to around 180F. I suggest you hire a competent barista so you can make hot coffee! Starbucks Steamers (Including Flavors & Ordering Options ... 3 Milk Temperatures at Starbucks; Extra Hot: Milk is steamed to about 180F. Steamed Hot: This is the standard milk temperature and is about 160F. Warm: Referred to as kids temp, warm milk is steamed to about 130F. Your coffee is only served at kids temperature!

M K.

Yelp
Press is an interesting twist on coffee shops enlarged seating area and great ambiance with locally roasted coffee beans and some unique drinks and food items, along with stellar customer service!

Saad M.

Yelp
The service is horrible always, if I order more than one cup of coffee they can't seem to send them out at the same time. The baristas are slow as heck and they always have an excuse on why you are always waiting for your drink for 15 minutes or longer. It's time for a second coffee joint at the Quarter.

Andrea H.

Yelp
I love Press. The ambience is great. Can hang with a good book for hours. Here's the problem. Any size iced Americano has the same number of espresso shots. How can that be? They're adding more water for a larger size diluting the flavors, rendering the drink almost tasteless. Competitors add more shots with larger sizes as it should be. Food for thought.

Garreth L.

Yelp
Solid spot. One of the best in AZ. I also think Cartel coffee is very good. Two of my fav spots

Dawn M.

Yelp
I got an iced caramel macchiato. Service was quick. It's right at the corner of the street, so it's easy to find. My drink was good however it has a burnt coffee taste to it. If you like that taste in coffee, then this is your kinda coffee. I'd def try the iced chi tea next.

Nikki A.

Yelp
Love this cafe! Nice ambiance, great service and mellow music playing in the background. Easy to get some work done and focus in a beautiful environment. I will be back!

Lisa K.

Yelp
Ordered the Thai chicken salad and a chocolate croissant and they were delish!! Tea was freshly brewed and tasty.

Noor J.

Yelp
Worst experience ever the server the one she make the latte she is unprofessional she threw half of the coffee on the table and I asked her to change it from disposable to regular cup she throws the milk again inside the plate, and the coffee was cold I would never come to this place again it was perfect before

Anthony L.

Yelp
Based on one visit Asked for cold brew with hazelnut syrup After I was already out and by my car realized it was plain cold brew. I mean you just have to take one made coffee add ice and syrup. Come on man. Cold brew was good though.

Kasey P.

Yelp
My favorite hot Chai Latte I've ever had. Deliciously spiced and flavor forward with the smoothest creamy finish - yum!
