Oviedo’s Corner Bake and Coffee (former PressWaffle Oviedo)

This was my third visit, and I’ve really enjoyed this place ever since they first opened — everything tasted so fresh and delicious back then. I stopped by this morning for a to-go order and unfortunately had a different experience. They only had one staff member working, so service was understandably slow. The waffles were undercooked, the marshmallows were burnt, and the hot chocolates didn’t taste right.(especially surprising considering there’s now a $1 charge for whipped cream.)We couldn’t drink them. I spent about $50 and disappointed. I’m sharing this in hopes it helps, because I truly think this spot has a lot of potential. I’d love to see it return to the great quality it had when it first opened.

This is such a cute (and delicious) little spot. We went at 11:00am on a Saturday and it was very pleasant, quiet and relaxing. Order took about 10-15 minutes. Service was nice. My iced chai is lovely and the food was very very yummy. There's a few other eateries in the vicinity with a nice open area in the middle. I'm in Oviedo once a week so I will definitely have to make this spot one of my usual while in the area.

This place was absolutely divine. I loved the waffle I got which I think was the apple waffle specialty paired with vanilla ice cream. It’s definitely the best dessert I’ve had in the area! 10/10 recommend! 5 ⭐️

Fantastic and delicious sweet treat of a waffle. I got the house and it was incredibly delicious and fulfilling. I was concerned, seeing other reviews that the waffle would be soggy, but it was very light and air on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. I would come back here.

7/21/25: Came here for the first time. The kids wanted to try the waffle dessert here using their own money. The guy working here was very nice and said he could charge for one waffle and split it into halves to accommodate the kids' choice of flavor. Little man rated his waffle as 3.5, little miss rated her Dubai waffle with 4 stars. I took a bite of their waffles and rated 2 stars. Notes for my Asian foodie followers: The kids did not finish the super sugary sweet waffle dessert. If you are like me who prefers Asian desserts that are light on the sugar, steer away from the sugary desserts here. I took one bite of my kids waffle and called it done for me. The waffle texture is very dry and heavy, not like the fresh made Belgian waffles I have tasted before.

This spot was on my foodie bucket list and I finally was able to cross it off the list. Even though it was a busy evening, the service didn’t disappoint. I was slightly overwhelmed by all the delicious choices. So, I kept it simple by ordering the chicken & waffles. This particular dish wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t what I hoped it would be. I appreciated the server bringing my food to the crowded outdoor food court. It was a minor mixup with the order and one of the servers brought my food to me even though it was a busy evening. That’s amazing customer service and is greatly appreciated. I will come back again to try a different dish.

They have the most helpful and friendly staffs and the worst waffle. They say it's different because It's a Liège waffle but Belgium waffle shouldn't be soggy or sticking on your palate because It's too doughy. It should be crisp outside and chewy inside but not soggy. I wonder if the owner ever tasted proper Belgium waffle...

Overall I’ve had a much better experience when dining in. Overall it cost me $52 (without including a tip, which does not have a no tip option for pickup so you have to manually select $0) to pickup 2 waffles and 2 coffees. Then when you order they have a required selection for a mini waffle (you can select no), which is $4 and looks like a singular bite. (See lighter in photo for reference) Coffees were both watered down from melted ice despite picking up 2 minutes after notified it was ready, and the waffles were pretty mid overall (see image).
