My son and I always wanted to try this place. One first bite, it was very good. I was thrown off by the sugary coating it had bc if I knew it was sweet, the powder sugar wouldn’t have been sprinkled on. 😬 I was expecting a regular waffle. My son and I aren’t too big on the sweetness of it. It was too sweet for us. Had we gotten the chicken, then it would have cut a lot of the sugar from it. So, if you like sweet things, this is for you.

Very dry tasteless. It was not even a full waffle. It was a waffle sliced in half. Not for 12.00. The Ice cream was the only thing I was able to eat. I really want a refund.

I only gave 5 stars because that’s all it let me give them… they’re awesome. Best waffles this side of the Mississippi.

I'm definitely going back. The St.Louis hot chicken waffles are delicious 😋. Sometimes the line is kinda long but it's fast. The service was not bad. It's my favorite restaurant in the food court.

The place was so cute, the food was good, and they were pretty nice, just it took a little bit for my food to me made.

Worst waffle I have ever eaten. Tried the chicken and waffles and the house (strawberries). Brought my wife here on a Sunday when visiting from out of town. Waffles were super chewy, and not very warm. The chicken was straight out of a frozen food section - not good!! The WAFFLES were not prepared when we ordered, but REHEATED. Tried to cover the bad waffle with a pile of whipped cream - couldn’t save this experience. Not sure what all the hype is about. Can’t believe Barbara invested $300k in these terrible waffles. Do not recommend!

We read the reviews and decided to go there in person rather than DoorDash. Now we understood! DO NOT DOORDASH!!! The waffles are flavored and will harden if sat for long. It’s in the Foundry Food Hall. Turn on Vandeventer. Our directions took us the street ahead in front of the Foundry which is closed. Once we found it, we ordered. We ordered The Southern Belle: lemon with blue berries and my wife ordered The Cristo: vanilla sweet waffle with ham and turkey with cheese and blackberry jam. We were delightfully surprised. Delicious! One sweet and lovely, the other sweet and savory. They did have coffee options but no other dairy options so we jaunted over to Berrybox for drinks while we waited. Perfect.

Total Score: 8.500 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Repurposed warehouse hits different. Also love the map of St. Louis. Food: 4.25/5 Yum yum yum. Though didn’t like how there was too much whipped cream. But the Nutella and caramel satisfied my sweet tooth. Wow: 0.5/1 You know it’s good if you get compliments from strangers on your food. Total Score = 3.5*AM + 6*FOOD + 0.5*WOW
