Spent $44 here on Sept 6 in the morning. The Food did not look like pictures. Chicken was dry and cold. Waffles were horrible. The hot chocolate tasted like water! I spent $6 on the caramel latte and it had no flavor. Do not recommend this place at all.

Google
My son and I always wanted to try this place. One first bite, it was very good. I was thrown off by the sugary coating it had bc if I knew it was sweet, the powder sugar wouldn’t have been sprinkled on. 😬 I was expecting a regular waffle. My son and I aren’t too big on the sweetness of it. It was too sweet for us. Had we gotten the chicken, then it would have cut a lot of the sugar from it. So, if you like sweet things, this is for you.

Google
Folks are being very nice in the reviews. This is not worth the cost at all just make it at home. No unique savory taste. Waffle tough and bland. Chicken is season less. No nice butter or topping to come along with it. Go to Walmart buy frozen waffle and chicken tenders will cost you the same amount and be much better.

Malissa B.

Google
Very dry tasteless. It was not even a full waffle. It was a waffle sliced in half. Not for 12.00. The Ice cream was the only thing I was able to eat. I really want a refund.

Google
We hate leaving bad reviews, but we tried calling and emailing, and no one ever got back to us. It’s been over two weeks, so that’s plenty of time. Our food was absolutely horrible. The waffles were so hard that we couldn’t cut them, and the sandwich was cold and tasted old. Our cats wouldn’t even eat the meat off it (we hate throwing food away). Very disappointed in the food and lack of service. Our order was delivery, which is why we tried calling and emailing, but we’ve had better food delivered from White Castle! We won’t be back. For what we spent, we expected way better service and food.

Google
This place is fantastic. Every waffle I have tried has been perfect. Cinnamon Roll Waffle- Nice twist on the classic cinnamon roll. 4/5 The American- waffle topped with cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. Everything in one breakfast waffle. If they found a way to work some potato in there it would be every one of the best breakfast foods in one. 4/5 The Cristo- a great play on the monte Cristo sandwich using waffles instead of the traditional French toast. A fantastic savory treat. 5/5 The Elvis- peanut butter, banana topped with bacon. Great savory and sweet waffle. Excellent choice. 5/5 The House- A great dessert waffle. The Nutella would almost be overwhelming but the strawberries and whip cream balance it perfectly. 5/5 The Southern Belle- Lemon, blueberry, and whipped cream. A little more summery and light than the other waffles. The lemon flavor is strong so if you don’t like things too tangy then this is not for you. 4/5

Google
I only gave 5 stars because that’s all it let me give them… they’re awesome. Best waffles this side of the Mississippi.

Caila M.

Google
The food was better than the service. We ordered two regular chicken and waffles as well as the STL hot chicken and waffles. The chicken on both were great. However, the hot chicken claimed it came with ranch but it was served with a miniscule amount drizzled. So little it added nothing to the plate. When I went to the counter to ask for a small side of ranch, I was told that I would have to go through the line and pay for it. Now, this is a $15 entree and we spent $60 here and you claimed to serve it with ranch but you really didn't... Also, there is line of people. In summation, the food is good but expensive and if they don't execute it well, they will not correct it. Three stars. May not return. They may have earned a return customer if they either executed the food properly or had better customer service to remedy the situation.

Yelp
Had the campfire/s'more waffles . Absolutely delicious! Only thing that would've made it better is the ice cream but figure I had to pass on that at 11am.
google avatar

Yelp
It should have been a giveaway when there was waffle cakes and stuck to the waffle iron. I ordered a build your own with cookie butter, chocolate chips and a scoop of ice cream. The waffle was SO incredibly dry and the only saving grace was when the ice cream melted it made the waffle somewhat moist. The sign advertised the waffles were sweet with sugar pearls. I couldn't taste the sweetness, but could definitely taste something burnt. For $12 I wish I would have selected a sweet treat from one of the other vendors in the food hall. Skip this place.
google avatar

Scott R.

Yelp
Opens at 9 am. We arrived at 9:10. Sign on register says opening late. We decided to wait. Now it's 10:01and still no sign of life. The girl that was here when we arrived, left shortly after we arrived and hasn't been seen since. I was unaware the waffle business was so lucrative they don't need the business. I guess we'll give our money to one of the other businesses.

Yelp
I was walking around the foundry and smelled something sweet. I headed towards the smell and found this place. I'm not typically a waffle person, but I couldn't resist. I ordered a waffle with Nutella cookie butter, strawberries, and banana. It came out warm and fluffy, the fruit was fresh and I would 100% recommend an order again.
google avatar

Scott M.

Yelp
Found this place in a bustling food hall in St Louis while I was looking for a little lunch. It didn't disappoint. The food hall and the surrounding area are both thriving and loaded with a variety of shops and restaurants all in a nice walkable area. If you're considering visiting, just go ahead and do it. Parking is easy and free and there's something there for everyone. Now onto this waffle...or waffle sandwich. I couldn't decide between a taco place or this waffle place until I saw that there was a waffle monte cristo. I was sold. They cooked it up fresh and got it to me quickly and the thing was packed with flavor. So good. What's not to love about a monte cristo waffle sandwich? Great food, cool atmosphere and surrounding area, decent prices...what else can you ask for?
google avatar

Courtney O.

Yelp
I was wishing that waffle was going to be a bit more tasty, but the waffle itself was just not good. Tasted as if it was old.
google avatar

Carrie F.

Yelp
You really only need to eat here when visiting City Foundry Food Hall! Belgian waffles- made with dough and sugar pearls like the real deal in Belgium! The House is cookie butter, Nutella, strawberries, and whipped cream on top of a hot and fresh waffle! The chicken and waffles is a big YES! Get messy with a waffle ice cream sandwich big enough for two or more! Just eat here! Trust me!
google avatar

Dale M.

Yelp
I ordered The Cristo and a bottle of water and the bill was over $18.00. The sandwich was pretty good. The service was pretty quick but the staff wasn't overly friendly. I am not a fan of the Foundry, it reminds me of a cave.
google avatar

J David H.

Yelp
I just was not overly impressed with my s'mores waffle and I'm letting the food lead this review. My son added Oreos. The waffle was served warm. I found what I had average. Find them in the Foundry. Friendly counter service. 4.5 rounding down. I would try again and select another waffle.
google avatar

Kimmy S.

Yelp
I love a good Nashville hot chicken and waffles! Living in Nashville, I knew ordering this would be a disappointment. I guess I was missing home. Hahaha. Anyways, as mentioned I tried the hot chicken and waffles with red hot riplets was Nashville meets STL (with the red hot riplets). Great concept, just not my cup of tea, price rage with tax was close to $20. Very expensive if you ask me, it was two tenders on a waffle, you can see the size compared to the pickle spear.
google avatar

Ross P.

Yelp
Delicious. Whatever you order is going to be frickin' great. The Belgian sugar pearls elevate these waffles beyond waffles I've ever had. Staff is friendly. The only issue I have is they're never open on time. If you're supposed to open at 9 AM or 10 AM, you need to be ready to serve right then, not drag-ass until 30 minutes past. If I were the owner, I'd be pissed. Luckily, I'm more laid back as a customer.
google avatar

Meg D.

Yelp
Their liege waffles are fresh and made to order. I love the crunchy sugary exterior of the waffle. I ordered the Southern Belle (lemon curd and blueberries) and substituted strawberries instead. Service is fast and portions are a good size
google avatar

Mary C.

Yelp
Amazing waffles with luxury toppings! We got the Southern Belle (lemon and blueberry) and the popular The House waffle (strawberry and chocolate). Both were very good, but the Southern Belle in particular was extremely delicious. I would recommend eating them right away--the waffles harden if you try to save them!!
google avatar

Jensen W.

Yelp
Yummmm. I love waffles & I love dessert. Come here if you're like me to find your happy medium! The churro waffle did not disappoint! Also added the scoop of vanilla ice cream on top it off! The people working were super nice & also had the waffle out so fast! This area is nice & bright, open & the menu is huge so it's easy to read. Definitely recommend trying out Press Waffle if you're in the Foundry!
google avatar

Charise T.

Yelp
Very quick service and order is plentiful. I had the STL waffle and it was ok, all of the extras overpowered the waffle flavor.
google avatar

Andrea K.

Yelp
Came here last summer and loved the Nutella waffle. Just came back tonight- 20 minutes before they closed and workers said they had already closed for the night. Very disappointing since we live 40 minutes away. Not sure we will be back
google avatar

Natalya R.

Yelp
My first time in this food hall, I stopped by this waffle shop and ordered a savory and one sweet waffle. I got the chicken and waffles and the Nutella with strawberry waffles. I got my food in less than 10 minutes; both were delicious! I highly recommend this shop in the City Foundry food hall.
google avatar

Sam H.

Yelp
I love Belgium style waffles. This is a good option when in the mood. I have one problem; pre-baked waffles. I get it......during peak hours they have to keep up with demand. And so baking a batch and using a toaster/micro machine to warm them up makes sense but during lower volume times, why???? You can taste the difference.....pre-baked are stale and tougher to cut thru. Come on now! Do better!
google avatar

Joslyn N.

Yelp
I always have the House Waffle and am blown away. It was absolutely amazing. Nutella, cream, strawberries, banana, and more. It wasn't too sweet for me. The combinations of textures and flavors worked together really well. The only ding is I feel like the waffles decreased in size over the years. Nevertheless, it's a staple every time I go to the Foundry.
google avatar

Irene L.

Yelp
I'm not too much of a sweets person, so when I saw this option I was ALL in. While this was being made my mouth was watering as I watched. When it was served I had a big ole cheesy smile on my face- One bite and I was in heaven! I even yelled out that she did a great job- definitely recommend stopping by and trying this flavor sensation!
google avatar

Krista C.

Yelp
This place is such a treat! It's so different from all the other restaurant sites in this location. I got the breakfast waffle. The egg was perfect and the waffle had this amazing crunchy outer layer and the tasty soft inside layer. They had a good variety of items. Not really sure if you can mix around what's on it or not but I'm sure you can. Definitely should try if you are ever in the area.
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
Fabulous! The waffles are perfect if you care for them to be soft and cooked well. I love a sandwich so decided to go for the Cristo even though l am not much of a jam fan. The blend as is was exceptional. I would not change anything. Waffle as the sandwich filled with ham, turkey, white american cheese, and a berry jam spread! This is a recommendation if you are not starved but need something light. Depending on my appetite next time I would reorder this or try their chicken and waffles.

Yelp
Visiting the city for a conference and after dinner was looking for something sweet and came across this spot on Yelp, of course! It's located in the Food Hall of the City Foundry which appears to be a newer area still being built out with shops and businesses. There's an Alamo Drafthouse, City Winery and other shops as you walk up. In the Food Hall, there are plenty of options for food and sweet treats. Unfortunately when we got to Press they had just ran out of vanilla ice cream. Of course, our choices were to be paired with vanilla ice cream. We just got the cinnamon roll Waffle and I got a waffle ice cream sandwich with chocolate ice cream and caramel syrup. They were okay. The cinnamon roll waffle would've been better with vanilla ice cream and I would've gotten the churro waffle that comes with vanilla ice cream. It may be worth the drive over but not sure based on our experience.

Yelp
Look, you've never had waffles like this. I've had some great savory waffles in my past, and some great sweet ones. I also make both styles for myself, and I was blown away, which is a rarity for me. I had never heard of this place before coming here. My son had been up to The Foundry before, and raved about this, so we had to come. The line was one of the longer ones, but not for lack of trying. These guys were hustling orders in and waffles out like a machine! Less than a few minutes after our order, the hot waffles were being delivered. Our selection was a plain, a Nutella something, the Blueberry and Lemon Whip, and a plain waffle. I'll start with the plain, as it sets some amazing expectations. They provided it with powdered sugar on top, but that's normal. The batter was the right amount of flavor, warm, with the right crisp, and then you discover little bits of sugar crystals... like morsels of candy inside. This base layer is there for all of them, and it's worth it just as it's own. Start throwing more toppings on top, and it turns into a new world. The Blueberry and Lemon Whip was an EPIC FLAVOR EXPLOSION. The layers of flavors were amazing, and the textures well thought out. The Lemon Whip was something to write home about. The way they pulled that much flavor out was brilliant, and the way that it worked off the blueberries was genius. I won't speak to the Nutella as I didn't try it (not a fan of Nutella), but the rest of the family loved it. (Go check out their trip to Shark Tank, and the reactions of the Sharks devouring this amazing waffle!)

Dejah M.

Yelp
So yummy! I didn't know if I wanted sweet or savory and this was the perfect option for me. I can't pick a favorite part of the dish I got (The American. Has bacon crumbles, egg, and cheese on top a waffle and has maybe some syrup on top, and a fried egg and I got mine runny) because I loved it all! The waffle was so perfect. Soft and not dry at all. Definitely recommend trying this place when you go to the Foundry!
google avatar

Wanda H.

Yelp
Came to City Foundry with friends who were ready for lunch, but I was still yearning for breakfast... So, Press Waffle was my pick. And from their menu, I chose the American waffle. It was perfect! SO tasty!!! Their service is quick and friendly. I haven't tried their coffee yet, and feel like I should. Aaaand, I think there's an Ice Cream Sandwich with my name on it there too.
google avatar

AJ D.

Yelp
Thoroughly impressed! order: + churro waffle + vanilla ice cream (opted out of whip cream) worth noting: * the wait time -- lightning fast! After I ordered, I sat down and immediately got a text/heard them call my name and had to pop right back up. This was also during a lunch rush! They probably had 5 people on staff? We love to see it! * the waffle was SO fresh, warm, and tasted like home. Too cheesy? But it really did. * I wish I took a picture first but it would've have been able to capture the mouth-watering, like-home taste anyway. You definitely have to try it!!
google avatar

Kristen S.

Yelp
Press Waffles are different than other waffles because they are Liege Waffles. This is a completely different type of waffle, and it shows. Liege Waffles are made with dough and not a batter. The combination of this waffle with their bacon jam and chicken is amazing. My group has eaten Chicken and Waffles all over the South and back and this one is by far the best any of us have had. We asked for the syrup on the side so we could cut and share this easier but next time I would just get it smothered. The syrup with the bacon and this style waffle is a match made in waffle heaven. The chicken is perfectly fried and just adds that extra je ne sais quoi. This was by far the best thing we had on our visit to City Foundry. I will return.
google avatar

Mandie B.

Yelp
There isn't anything better than Chicken and Waffles with some sweet syrup! I was so glad that I made the decision to get this for my lunch yesterday as it was savory and sweet and just the right amount. The chicken tender was breaded and friend crisp and juicy and the waffle was the best waffle I have ever had. I don't know how they make their waffles taste so good. I was hooked after just one bite and while the portion size was small for the price I paid, I guess it was filling. I was just expecting a full waffle, but this was more like half a waffle with 2 chicken tenders which was just enough. The perfect amount. I can't wait to go back and try another kind of waffle next time!
google avatar

Will W.

Yelp
This is a great spot if you're in the mood for a waffle. The food hall atmosphere is fun. There was plenty of seating. My food came out very quickly, and the workers were kind. I got the Elvis. It's Peanut Butter, Banana, and bacon crumbles on a waffle. It was pretty good, but kind of expensive to not come with a drink and for the portion size. This place would be a 5 star if it wasn't for that.
google avatar

Rebecca K.

Yelp
My friends and I always save room for these waffles when we come to the city foundry. Yes the lines can be long, and the price can be more than I'd like, but all waffles are made to order (plus some of them require a lot of toppings), and honestly everything these days is going up in price. All that aside, these waffles are delicious!! The texture is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I really like The House waffle; it's the one with strawberry and Nutella, and you can't go wrong with that combo. It's pretty filling for just two people to share. Excited to try the other waffles they have!
google avatar

Linda S.

Yelp
YUM! I'd never been to City Foundry before and looked at all of the possible food booths before setting our sights on Press. They describe it as brioche batter, but it is thick like dough. It doesn't pour like batter, they scoop it out of a big bowl with an ice cream scoop and smash it into the waffle iron. I had the Cristo which was devine! It wasn't as rich as a full blown Monte Cristo sandwich and it was so good and filling. For this one they sliced a waffle down the middle to fill with turkey, ham, melted cheese, and a touch of blackberry jam and turned it into a sandwich. A-Mazing. The jam added a special sweetness to the savory waffle. My mom had the chicken and waffles and said the chicken was just the right amount of crispy. This one is a good find!
google avatar

Linda P.

Yelp
The waffles here are very cute and aesthetic. There's a good variety of salty and sweet. The sugar pearls in the waffles are very good and add crunchy texture. Our waffles, however, felt a little undercooked and lacked flavor unless eaten with the toppings. Still worth trying since there aren't a lot of similar places in STL.
google avatar

Beth L.

Yelp
This year I am driving the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile on a coast to coast weenie roast finding new places to eact and feature while on our adventures! Super tasty treat was fantastic!!! Just the right amount of sweet to this delicious breakfast. Staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations on what to get. Definitely recommend stopping by for some food!
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
I'm always a bit let down here. The first waffle we had was nice and soft. About 2 hours later we ordered 3 more and they were all super tough. Not to mention the staff is never very friendly and we waited over 5 minutes to order with no line in front of us.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
My daughter and I were in St. Louis for the weekend, and were excited to try these waffles on Feb 4th. We arrived around 9 AM, when they were advertised to open. We approached the counter to look at the menu and order, and were quickly told by rather rude female employee, "they would need 15 to 20 minutes to get ready to take orders." Although we were disappointed to hear this, my daughter wanted to try the waffles badly enough that we decided to walk around for a bit while while we waited. We came back at about 9:15, and returned to the counter. This time, we were completely ignored by both female employees, who had still not turned on the menu TVs, and seemed in no rush to open. Even though they realized we were waiting, one of the girls said, "I'm going to go to the bathroom, then I will turn the menus on when I come back." Around 9:22, she returned from the bathroom, slowly sauntered toward the counter, and turned on the menus. Then, treating us as if we were bother, she finally asked us what she could get us. Frustrated by now, I was still looking forward to a good waffle. I told her that I would like to have the Elvis. She told me that they were out of bananas, which is a staple of the Elvis. She told me I could pick another fruit, but I explained that the Elvis is Based around the combination of the bananas and peanut butter, so I would pass. My daughter and I both ordered something else and waited for our food. We got it rather quickly. While we were eating, we noticed that both of the girls on staff walked away from the food stand together, toward the coffee shop nearby. They were gone for nearly 10 minutes, and then both returned together with coffee drinks. The booth was completely unstaffed during this time. I know that it is difficult to find good employees today, and we were definitely there during non-peak times, but I was very disappointed by the customer service and the professionalism of the staff (seemingly college age girls). The only one who ever spoke to us was rather rude, they both acted as if we were a bother, and in my opinion, they both looked as if they had simply rolled out of bed. I was also concerned that the girl who said she was going to go to the bathroom, came back so quickly that I am not even sure she would have had time to wash her hands. I also did not see her put gloves on before prepping our food. We will definitely be returning to the foundry, but I am not sure that we will spend our money at this location again. I will say, both of the waffles we had were delicious.... Hence three stars.

Yelp
Great food, fast and friendly service! Can't say enough about how great this experience was! We ordered a few things to try, and they were all great! The STL Hot Chicken was awesome! Thanks for the great meal!

Nila M.

Yelp
It was a brisk November afternoon and I was feeling down because I had been studying all day. I went to Press Waffle Co. with my roommates and was NOT disappointed. Marissa and Sean were so nice they literally made my day and then the best waffle I've ever had in my life. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Suzee Q.

Yelp
I love Monte Cristo sandwiches, so when I saw The Cristo on the menu here, I went for it. The waffle irons look prehistoric and watching a worker pick them out with a long stick thing was not appealing, though. Luckily, the rest of my order was prepared where I couldn't watch. A worker patted down a couple waffles before picking mine. Shortly, it appeared at the pick-up area. It looked pretty enough and the flavor was very good. The Monte Cristo is kind of a strange sandwich anyway but having it within a waffle is genius. My issue was that the waffle didn't seem entirely cooked but had really well-done spots and raw-ish spots. Maybe I'll try again...
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
Delicious!! Came for breakfast before heading to Alamo Drafthouse and had the American and Monte Cristo. Really impressed and definitely recommend if you're in the mood for sweet and savory.
google avatar

Matthew C.

Yelp
I ordered the Chicken and Waffles for lunch. They added syrup and powdered sugar. It was very good! A bit on the pricey side, but worth it! It was so filling I didn't even eat dinner that day!
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
A fun spot to try in City Foundry. Really, the batter is what makes these waffles; the batter alone is worth at least one visit so you can try the flavor of this special type of waffle. The batter is super thick-- it looks more like bread dough rather than the loose, liquid-y mix you're probably used to seeing. And then there are sugar globs in the batter that turn into a nice sugar-y crisp when the waffle is cooked. When you eat the waffle, it is super dense and chewy on the inside, and very crispy golden brown on the outside. Hands down, the best aspect of Press Waffle Co. The toppings/fillings could be upgraded, and the price point is a pinch on the higher side for what you're getting. Again, though, I think it's worth at least one visit to try the waffle itself. We tried the southern belle waffle ($8) which was whipped cream, fresh blueberries, and a lemon curd drizzle.

Elaine B.

Yelp
The waffles are very good! I had the Southern Belle. I knew it would be sweet, but it was too sweet for me. The blueberries were great. I'll go back and try a more savory option or build my own. Pumpkin spice latte was not good. Completely lacked flavor.
google avatar

Haley S.

Yelp
I was really excited to try City Foundry and especially Press Waffle as I love me some Chicken and Waffles. The line was really long and moved slower than similar lines at other booths. This was a little confusing to me as there were a lot of waffles coming out of the press but it seemed like it was taking a long time to top them. They definitely needed one more employee as the same guy was working with the waffle machine and also taking orders/cashing people out. When I ordered my chicken and waffles I was a little bummed to see that the chicken came from a bag of frozen tenders instead of made on site but I get it given the set up. The waffles had that nice pearl sugar which I haven't had in a long time and you can definitely taste it in the batter. The chicken was good but could have used a little spice to it. I really want to try some of their sweet waffle options they look EPIC. And there is an option to add a scoop of ice cream. The s'mores is definitely next on my list!
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
Love the waffles. The Nutella one was so rich and the lemon was super light. Will need to try the chicken and waffles next time.
google avatar

Ed D.

Yelp
Came here a little early on Saturday at 11:30 am. I really like the City Foundry venue and the selection of eateries. Today my daughter and I decided to try this waffle establishment. They were short staffed so there was a lengthy delay getting the food at almost 20 mins...luckily we weren't too hungry. The chicken waffle came out within 10 mins but the American waffle took longer. I was surprised at the consistency of the waffle as it's much thicker than I thought. I saw the amount of syrup they put on the waffle and I was afraid it would be too much but it ended up being just right because there was a lot of waffle! The amount of meat was good on both. The chicken wasn't too breaded and was juicy white meat. The combination of the meats and the waffle with the real maple syrup was very yummy! We were actually planning to go somewhere else to eat dessert but we were too full and with the sweetness of the meal, our desire to eat dessert went away. The prices seemed high for waffles but it was tasty and filling so I guess not bad. Honestly, it felt so heavy that even though we liked the taste, I don't think we'll come back too often.
google avatar

Andre J.

Yelp
Press Waffle is a miracle on Earth! The American Waffle there is my absolute favorite--it's so good! I add 2 over easy eggs on mine. The staff there is nice, the service is fast...and, they text you on your smartphone to let you know when your order's ready. That joint is 100% awesome!

Yelp
We are visiting St. Louis and found this waffle place that we had to try. We got hooked on Leige style waffles when we were in St. Louis on a previous trip and visited Iron and Rye, which is sadly now closed. Press waffle is in the city foundry food hall. There isn't any signage so you kindof have to be a little adventurous. We parked in the parking garage. And found the food hall easily once we got out and started walking. We ordered the house waffle, chicken and waffles, and the American. All were delicious and had the little pieces of sugar in the waffle and were doughy and a little chewy which we like. Love this place. The foundry has several other eateries similar to that of a mall food court but in an old large factory building that has been repurposed.

Yelp
Fun place, but we were expecting a savory waffle, and both ours were over the top sweet. We tried the Monte Cristo, which was a sandwich with cheap lunch meat and such sweet powered sugar on top, it was almost inedible. We also got the chicken and waffles, which drenched in so much syrup, it was again just too sweet to enjoy. The chicken was pretty tasty though. If sweet is your thing, you might love it. Or ask for the syrup and sugar on the side. There was one more savory waffle on the menu with egg and bacon that might be good. The waffles were fresh and hot though!
