Need a place to relax, read and grab a coffee? This place is the whole vibe! Quiet and cozy, with tons of seating options. Lots of natural light throughout. Quiet but not silent. Delicious drink options.

Google
First time in. Great little spot for a coffee and plane to read. I'd more of a choice shop than a book shop but still a great vibe and great place to chill, read and work.

Google
Delicious coffee with fun specialty drinks. Treats & small food items are tasty as well. They have seasonal drinks that add a little excitement to your day. They also have local events for children— very charming. Large area for sitting inside, small patio as well. Bookstore is adorable.

Such a cute spot, fun kids area my daughter loved! Coffee was so good! We got there a bit closer to afternoon so our pastry options where limited but we really liked the salted caramel bar :) if you love books, coffee and pastries this is the place for you!

Google
This is one of my favorite coffee shops ever. The coffee is always consistent and delicious. Thats a feat as it is something a lot of coffee shops struggle with. The atmosphere is so chill and the music is always on point. Always looking forward to my visits. 10/10 highly recommend.

Google
This place is perfect for a book lover like me who also enjoys a bit of social atmosphere. The space is clean, roomy, and has a charming old-school vibe. The drinks are great—I was tempted to try their breads, but they’re a bit pricey compared to Starbucks.

Google
Pressed is such a cozy coffee shop/bookstore. I have thoroughly enjoyed every time I've been in there. Great community events like frequent story times and pop-ups. The coffee and baked goods are great. Highly recommend!!

Google
I was actually heading to another coffee shop in the area when I came across this little hidden gem! Very neat little place, good coffee, maybe I'll try some of their baked goods next time.

Yelp
Pressed Coffee gives total "early seasons Rory Gilmore studying with a book she actually understands" energy--super chill, cozy spot. Coffee wise, kinda mixed bag. We tried a plain latte to test the espresso and it was like... a solid 4/5, nothing crazy. Last time we got the honey latte though and that one definitely ate a little harder. Still a cute hang, just maybe not life-changing beans.

Yelp
Stopped in to browse after hearing about this little spot from some friends. I'm personally determined to go to as many local bookstores as I can, so this one made the list. It's also a lovely little coffee shop! browsed around and didn't really find any books I wanted to pick up this time. However, went ahead and bought a Pressed LKLD sticker, a "Shop local" waterproof sticker for my water bottle, and had an iced Hobbit latte. I also had my personal bookstore passport stamped! They stamped it with the same stamp that they usually use for the hot cup sleeves, so it's the official business stamp and I love it. (if you wish to know, the bookstore passport is bound from The Little Book Store and proceeds go to the BINC foundation). My latte was flavorful, the espresso was a great roast that went well with the salty caramel flavor, and the service was absolutely fantastic. I even got a list of the other bookstores in Lakeland, so I now have a goal in the area!

Yelp
Ten thousand stars for the fact that they play Gregory Alan Isakov in this joint. Never heard of him? You are missing out. Great coffee, sweets and atmosphere. Could not believe I was still in Florida much less tiny Lakeland when I walked in here. Kudos!

Yelp
I love the vibe at this place. It's perfect to get work done or have coffee with friends. I love that it's also a book store. I found the perfect book the last time I was there and read half of it while sitting on a cozy couch near the window. Perfect reading space!! The coffee is pretty good!!! But my sister did not like her drink. I think we just weren't huge fans of the oat milk they use. Customer service is great!!!

Yelp
Loved the setting and relaxing mood. The Hemingway is a must try. Love it. Have a seat and read some writing by locals.

Yelp
"Pressed" came up on my Yelp search for breakfast stops! While I had already made one stop for breakfast, I absolutely had to visit for one of these "specialty donuts "! Glad I did! So many unique choices will require more visits! How soon will I return?!?

Yelp
Such a peaceful, cute place. Love to stroll through the books and had the nicest little closet of used books too. The coffee was pretty good. The service was good too. Did not get a chance to have a pastry but they looked delicious.

Yelp
This coffee shop/bookstore hybrid compliments each other very well. It is a no frills bookshop coffee shop. The bakery selection was very simple and straightforward, and the coffee and tea options weren't overly complicated. We tried the Latte and the Sweater Weather (a seasonal Color Theory Tea consisting of apple, cinnamon, and licorice). The Latte was standard and well made, although the foam art could use a little more practice. The Sweater Weather was great, and provided the perfect flavor profile that embodied the unique flavor combination that it was supposed to without being overly sweet. Patrons seemed at ease, and the atmosphere was calm and quiet. The book selection was limited, as expected for an establishment of this size. However, there are enough genres that anyone can come in and find something that they like. I think this establishment shines in that it focuses on what it's meant to be, and it does it well. We will definitely swing by again for a reading/productive day.

Yelp
Lavender latte + books + a gorgeous and relaxed space to relax on a hot and sunny day. We love Pressed and highly recommend.

Yelp
A coffee shop also partially disguised as a book store- how could things get any better?? Well, they also sell some art from local artists, have pastries from nearby favorite Honeycomb bread bakers, and serve other favorite Ethos coffee roasters! For any one who may wonder, Pressed took over the space where the business "Twenty-seven" used to be. And Twenty-seven is gone gone now, they didn't move locations or anything sadly. But it's a great location here, just off Massachusetts and the main street of downtown Lakeland, where the Farmers Market also takes place every Saturday. That's how I accidentally realized this was open. My chai latte was wonderful and happy-making - any coffee that's happy making is a good one! And I just love the atmosphere in this shop, it's a perfect one to sit and enjoy company, or get work done, or read a book like a handful of people were when I went. It is as much a bookstore as a coffee shop, after all. Only good vibes!!!

Yelp
Such a fun find. Great blend of coffee shop & book shop. Filled with mostly young college-looking kids, engaged in chats, or laptops with a great beverage and perhaps a pastry. They are supplied by Honeycomb Bread Bakers or Bandidas twice a week in sublime pastries. I've enjoyed their iced lattes but don't have a "memorable" bean or know if they served my beloved nonfat milk. I've not yet had time to stay awhile yet. I see they carry Color Theory teas and some Lakeland type gifts as well as art. Loved that they collected books for the Book Bus and helped another charity with activity book donations. This business is inclusive & community-minded.

Yelp
I have had bad experiences with the new owners. The whole atmosphere of the store is different now. They want a certain type of customer.

Yelp
Adorable place, great atmosphere for studying! Nice coffee, plenty of outlets and comfortable seating!

Yelp
Pressed completely impresses everyone that walks in. Great baristas, great ambiance, and great seats. Is the perfect place to sit down on a Saturday morning after a nice walk.

Yelp
If you're looking for a coffee shop where the kids can also enjoy the experience, and there are wonderful cinnamon rolls to consume, as well, this will be a wonderful experience. A combination of both books and coffee pressed into delight.

Lindy B.

Yelp
After calling and emailing for a week 1/2 finally confirmed a date for my event. Planned and sent out invites. They cancelled 3 weeks before saying they had no staff to work it. The owner was not remorseful of my situation and the fact that I had to find a new place. Terrible customer service. Do not recommend to anyone unless you want to be left high and dry.

Yelp
Very cute coffee bookstore! Lots of comfy places to sit and a nice area for children. Great tasting coffee & treats! I loved just browsing the books!

Yelp
This is an awesome coffee shop! It is clean, delicious coffee and great scones. They are HUGE! Another plus is great service and personable barista's! It's quiet, tables and comfortable chairs and couches on which to sit and a great place to get work done! I would like to see them get coffee cups to sip out of if you're staying.

Yelp
Really lovely coffee shop and bookstore, great vibes, lots of different spaces to work/read (with wifi and power outlets available) or simply sit and relax. There's an outdoor seating area too.

Lora W.

Yelp
Love this place to collect my thoughts, relax by the window with the sunlight coming through.. it's the best! Grab a coffee and a croissant or grab a book! You can do both! The ambiance is just right if you're looking for a taste of Lakeland and a bit of serenity.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee shops in down town lakeland! A coffee shop mixed with a bookstore its my dream place! Their coffee is amazing (if you like lavender I recommend a lavender and vanilla latte) they don't have a lot of food options so 8ts good if you just want a nice bagel or a muffin to go with your coffee. They have a very chill vibe and always have good music playing.

Thomas M.

Yelp
Excellent service, comfortable seating, well designed space...spend some time here. Downtown location is convenient to other shopping, etc.

Ashley W.

Yelp
Great little bookstore and coffee spot. I didn't have coffee as I was already pretty caffeinated but I did try the hibiscus lemonade which was tasty. Great environment and friend service.

Yelp
I've been to every coffee in Lakeland many times over the last 20 years and PRESSED is by far the best. I feel at home when I visit Pressed every morning because the staff welcomes me and all your customers with open arms. They treat every customer like family. The owner, Christina is truly amazing and she has created something very special for our town. A true gem nestled into downtown Lakeland. Her team is the best team in town. Sam, Emily, Sarah, Kailynn, and Bri are truly amazing and each one of them knows me by name and they always take the time to ask how I am doing. Pressed and their team remind me of back home so much. If you want great coffee, pressed is definitely the place. If you want delicious pastries, pressed is the pace. If you want any type of book, they are definitely the place. If you want a place to work, meet friends or take someone on a date, hands down this is the place. If you want to find a new home and family like me, Pressed is the only coffee shop in town. Pressed is all you need! I love you guys so much and thank you for always treating me like family. If you are visiting the area, Pressed should be on your must visit coffee shops. If you are a local, Pressed should be your daily stop for coffee & love! The best of the best in Lakeland!!!!!
