Freshly pressed juices and plant-based non-dairy soft serve?? Yesh! Their juice menu is extensive, ranging from flavors based more on Greens (kale, spinach, etc.) to Citrus (grapefruit, orange, etc.) and even Roots (beets!), creamier drinks (vanilla, almond), and mini bottle shots. There are toooons of options which are pre-packaged and beautifully lined up behind the counter, ready to go when you make your pick. They're around $6-8 a bottle though (!!). While the juices looked super legit, I was there for their plant-based soft serve, and now I'm a fan! ^o^
There are 2 sizes for the soft serve-- one is a cute itty bitty one for $5 and the other is larger for $6.50 (plus tax will cost you a cool $8). You get 3 toppings included. Vanilla and Chocolate are available on their printed menu board, but they also had Matcha and Strawberry available in the machines too! You can swirl the vanilla and chocolate or the matcha and strawberry flavors. The vanilla is more of a cinnamon-y rather than a pure vanilla bean flavor, and the chocolate is more of a lighter milk chocolate-- both make a delicious treat to enjoy this summer without being sickeningly sweet. Toppings to choose from include almond slivers, coconut shreds, blueberries, strawberries, chocolate chips, cookie crumbles, praline pecan bits, marshmallows, and more! There were drizzle options, but I'm not sure if those count as a topping or something extra.
For me, this place is where I'll take my friends who can't enjoy dairy-based ice cream and when I'm in the area and craving something sweet but won't wreck the summer bod, haha~ It's a bit pricey and they don't stack the swirl on your ice cream, but it was fun to try (and a really tasty afternoon snack!). Definitely give their soft-serve a go-- I need to try their matcha and strawberry flavors! If you check in with Yelp, you'll get an offer for 1 free juice of your choice. Can't wait to try my pick -- kale, apple, spinach, and ginger juice... sounds super refreshing! :)
The lady helping me was super nice and friendly. She mentioned Pressed Points, their points system to get free stuff, and if you sign up, you get a free shot! The interior is minimalistic and clean-- there's no dine-in seating due to the COVID-19 situation (but lots of hand sanitizer and even face masks available), so it's grab and go. There are a benches scattered around Rice Village, so stop by for a tasty soft-serve (and a free juice!) and enjoy your yummy plant-based dessert! :D
