Google
A Must-Visit for Acai Bowl Lovers! Pressed Juicery in Houston, TX was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was incredible – genuinely warm and welcoming. It felt like an aunt who hadn't seen me in a while and just wanted to fill my stomach with something good, wholesome, and healthy. And the açaí bowl? Pure perfection! The fresh fruit was, well, incredibly fresh! But the real standout was the granola. It had an amazing cinnamon vanilla flavor and the perfect crunch that elevated the entire bowl. Every bite was a delight. Seriously, if you're in Houston and looking for a delicious and healthy treat, this is the place. We desperately need a Pressed Juicery in New Jersey after this experience!

I ordered the 3-day juice cleanse, and the guy labeled the bottles in front of me with the order in which they should be consumed. However, they were completely mislabeled. On top of that, I was given the GREENS 3 drink twice, meaning I have a juice missing from the cleanse. Thankfully, I double-checked online before I was too far into it. I’m already dealing with health and gut issues—I don’t need this cleanse adding to my problems. This kind of mistake is frustrating, especially for something as structured as a cleanse, especially when it relates to health issues. I won’t be coming back.

Google
I had a very disappointing experience at this location due to the lack of basic customer service. Upon entering, I browsed the menu and proceeded to the register to place an order. The employee at the counter, who had a notably sharp appearance, did not acknowledge my presence or offer any greeting. I waited for several minutes before initiating the conversation myself, only to be told—rather dismissively—that the açaí machine was down. This information could have easily been communicated upfront. The lack of courtesy and professionalism was unacceptable, and I would strongly advise against visiting this location based on my experience.

Google
Friendly! Super customer service. Go here. Lots of options, including lower sugar items. Smoothies are great. Plant-based bowls / soft serve.

Google
I came in the other day after a long day at work and this male employee was really helpful and nice with explaing their menu and helping me decide on what to order he broke down the juices and their ingredients and left me buying exactly what I needed props to him he also had a great smile

Google
Depending on who is working, will determine the açaí bowl you received. My first time coming here i had an amazing girl give me an actual bowl worth twelve dollars. Second time I go there is a dude working that gives me ONE scoop of everything and when i ask for extra strawberries he then give me the worst scoop i could ever imagine with a total istg 5 piece. then charged me an extra 50 cents for THAT, even tho it was the only two fruits i had in my bowl. he was also acting annoyed that i asked for the food i wanted. (1st bowl is the first time 2nd bowl is the guy) like what

Google
Really bad experience I made a order online on 05/25/2025 around 8:35 am time for pick up was at 9:35 I went to the store and when I get there i got a surprise that, the machine that make the açaí bowl it was not working and the lady who it was working in the morning just told I just cancel you order you will receive the money back which at this time I haven’t received yet I order the bowl from the DoorDash app my order never was cancelled and they didn’t gave my money back!!!!!

Google
Love my size 2 freezes though they're really just vegan ice cream. Fresh toppings, clean shop, Amanda was sweet helpful and very knowledgeable. I got the strawberry and chocolate freeze

Yelp
We were driving home from the park and was craving an açaí bowl. Pressed Juicery wasn't our first option for açaí bowls, but we were close by and they have it, so hey why not. When my wife lived in California many years ago, she took me to pressed for the soft serve - I remember liking it so much that I wished they'd open one here. Now that we have one in town, this was actually our first visit to this location. The bowl was surprisingly shallow compared to most places, but it's a little wider and was definitely full to the brim. I'm not sure the exact volume but it seemed a little small. Açaí bowls are known to be expensive, and this one was no joke at a whopping $11.95. As far as taste, it was actually pretty good and they didn't skimp out on the of fruits and granolas. Overall it's nice that they have an açaí bowl option. The juices and the soft serve are definitely better options here. Definitely a great spot for healthy drinks and snacks!

Yelp
Loveee this place. Furqan is always so helpful and sweet! Pressed juices have changed the game for me I will be a forever member!

Yelp
Talk about not being a people person! From the moment we walked in the cashier was far from polite! He didn't even apologize or wanted to explain why we had to wait 45 mins to get our ice cream. Very poor service.

Yelp
Jumping right in... I came in here on a Friday afternoon, the place was pretty well managed. I can say it was super clean and there was a nice clean smell in the air. I was quickly greeted by a kind young lady who helped me with my orders. I ordered the Açaí Power Bowl, along with a Hydration + Watermelon Shot, and a Probiotic Shot. I quickly drank the shots which were not that bad since they are for health reasons. The bowl however was AMAZING!!! I wished they had one in my area and I'd eat that bowl daily. You guys should give them a try!

Yelp
Came here due to craving an acai bowl and the experience was pretty good. I got the original bowl in a large size. I still prefer Earthcraft (in person only), because I feel like the even for the large size here, I did not get enough fruit to match the base. The base was also not my favorite and a bit basic in taste (a berry smoothie taste). The service was average and the interior was bare + had almost no seating. It was a bit confusing and I'll probably only come here if there are no other options open. I recognize this may just be a preference issue and there was nothing inherently wrong with my experience, so I give it a 4 stars.

Yelp
Placed an online order for 3 day of cleanse 1 and a 7 day vacation pack. After I got home, I noticed that 7 day vacation pack was missing the 7 day Hilma wellness shot. I tried calling and no one answered. Finally got through and the sales rep says that "they probably didn't have it at that time but now they have it". Well, it would have been nice if you said something at pickup. Nevertheless, I had to drive back which was an inconvenience. The sales rep gives me 7 shots of wellness. I asked if I should get the hilma shots instead and she said no. After I got to my car I checked the website and it was indeed the Hilma shots. Had to go back and show the sales rep. She replaced it without apologizing or acknowledging the inconvenience again. As I further investigate the 3 day cleanse, I noticed they had given me the cleanse 3 instead of the cleanse 1. Again I try calling with no one answering. I have not tried the juices but was already frustrated with the customer service experience and incompetence with fulfilling the order and lack of care.

Yelp
I love it! Better than squeezed it. This I can customize what I want and like to drink instead of wasting on bottles I can't drink. I bought 30 bottles last time and will continue to buy more. This is my go to and I recommend it!

Yelp
I stopped by here while in the area. The juices are all pretty good. Not too "earthy" tasting imo. I needed something refreshing and clean to balance out all the other food I was eating. I ordered greens 2-4 and a couple smoothies. Greens 3 was prob the most distinct tasting because of the ginger. Greens 2 was super easy to drink. Would definitely stop by again.

Yelp
4 stars because the quality of the products are unmatched. Not 5 stars because information is conflicting with "regular" vs "VIP" prices and number of toppings on açaí bowls...

Yelp
Went to Press recently because I was looking for something light and refreshing. While there, I stumbled upon their Original Smoothie Bowl that comes topped with banana, berries, granola, and agave. I also ordered their Strawberry Orange Mango Smoothie and the Citrus 2 cold pressed juice, along with Post Recovery Shot which is great to take after workouts. ***If you check-in on the @Yelp app you can get one free item. Everything was very tasty! I'll definitely be back for that smoothie bowl especially with this summer heat that is on its way!

Breanna G.

Yelp
Very slow service it's always one person not knowing how to multitask in there. Heights location is better. when you did get a chance to order they don't acknowledge or apologize for the wait. poor service
google avatar

Yelp
Thanks to Yelp and Pressed for allowing us to try a Pressed juice upon check in via the Yelp app. The employee was personable and gave me suggestions on juices. The place is sleek and clean. The employee suggested a Citrus 2 juice. I didn't like it that much. There is free parking right in front of the store.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place all of my juices but one was amazing, I got a blueberry lavender lemonade that was not smooth it was kind of lumpy but all of the other ones were amazing.

Yelp
Freshly pressed juices and plant-based non-dairy soft serve?? Yesh! Their juice menu is extensive, ranging from flavors based more on Greens (kale, spinach, etc.) to Citrus (grapefruit, orange, etc.) and even Roots (beets!), creamier drinks (vanilla, almond), and mini bottle shots. There are toooons of options which are pre-packaged and beautifully lined up behind the counter, ready to go when you make your pick. They're around $6-8 a bottle though (!!). While the juices looked super legit, I was there for their plant-based soft serve, and now I'm a fan! ^o^ There are 2 sizes for the soft serve-- one is a cute itty bitty one for $5 and the other is larger for $6.50 (plus tax will cost you a cool $8). You get 3 toppings included. Vanilla and Chocolate are available on their printed menu board, but they also had Matcha and Strawberry available in the machines too! You can swirl the vanilla and chocolate or the matcha and strawberry flavors. The vanilla is more of a cinnamon-y rather than a pure vanilla bean flavor, and the chocolate is more of a lighter milk chocolate-- both make a delicious treat to enjoy this summer without being sickeningly sweet. Toppings to choose from include almond slivers, coconut shreds, blueberries, strawberries, chocolate chips, cookie crumbles, praline pecan bits, marshmallows, and more! There were drizzle options, but I'm not sure if those count as a topping or something extra. For me, this place is where I'll take my friends who can't enjoy dairy-based ice cream and when I'm in the area and craving something sweet but won't wreck the summer bod, haha~ It's a bit pricey and they don't stack the swirl on your ice cream, but it was fun to try (and a really tasty afternoon snack!). Definitely give their soft-serve a go-- I need to try their matcha and strawberry flavors! If you check in with Yelp, you'll get an offer for 1 free juice of your choice. Can't wait to try my pick -- kale, apple, spinach, and ginger juice... sounds super refreshing! :) The lady helping me was super nice and friendly. She mentioned Pressed Points, their points system to get free stuff, and if you sign up, you get a free shot! The interior is minimalistic and clean-- there's no dine-in seating due to the COVID-19 situation (but lots of hand sanitizer and even face masks available), so it's grab and go. There are a benches scattered around Rice Village, so stop by for a tasty soft-serve (and a free juice!) and enjoy your yummy plant-based dessert! :D

Yelp
The product is good, we love the juices. However, the experience at this location is below average. Coming in, the store always looks closed. There is a lock on the door and always appears to have no workers inside. Store front is littered with trash and unkempt. Last time I went in, had to wait around 5 minutes before an employee came out from the back and noticed us. Employees lack knowledge of the juices and juice packs. When asked their expertise on specific juices, they don't have much else to say except, "i like it". Will be sticking to the Heights store, as I don't feel welcomed in the University Blvd location.

Yelp
I was sort of skeptical about trying a two day cleanse but the worker helped me out so much. She was such a blessing. I totally forgot her name but she told me she was from Palestine! love my two day cleanse and the pressed store. Great juices and milk! I will be a reoccurring customer!

Yelp
Awesome affordable juice place with a good variety. Their pressed juices are pre-bottled so you just pick from the menu. The juices are pretty fresh, made within one-three days but I do wish that they would allow you to mix and choose ingredients. Even though Pressed is located in Rice VIllage, it still seem more affordable than other juice places which would charge up to 10 dollars for the same size. There's also app where you can collect points and redeem for juices. I haven't tried the soft serve yet but it looks good.

Yelp
This place had so much hype in LA back in 2017, and I was hoping for years that a location would open in Houston. Now that there's one in Houston, I made it my mission to stop by and finally try their popular soft serves. I love anything ice cream, but I sometimes I feel terrible after consuming so much sugar and cream in one serving. When I tried the Pressed Juicery soft serve, one thing that stood out to me was how light it was. I'm pretty sure all of their soft serve are vegan, so you don't get the heavy, rich, creamy texture like you would from full fat milk ice creams. It was also moderately sweet, so I didn't get a sickening feeling of wanting to drink a whole bottle of water after finishing the entire serving. There are 3 flavors they sell: matcha, vanilla and chocolate. They have a bunch of drizzles, granola, strawberries, blueberries and others. I love how you can request for as many toppings as you want if you pay for the toppings with your soft serve. For a regular size with toppings, my total cost came out to be about $7. It's expensive, but I wouldn't mind buying one every now and then to treat myself without worrying about feeling physically bad after eating it.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Pressed, and I will definitely be back. I ordered the seasonal pumpkin pie bowl and a citrus 1 juice. Both turned out amazing! Wonderful recommendations and customer service by the associate named Amanda. Thank you!

Yelp
Great cold pressed juice! Fresh and great tasting. Will definitely return to try other items

Yelp
Great addition to Rice Village ! It's very clean inside (takeout only for now) and there were so many delicious options. We were in the mood for green juice and there were atleast 5 on the menu. Green Juice 45 was the perfect green-fruit drink and the greens 4 had a lingering kick of spice.

Yelp
The ship is extremely clean. The Juices are very tasty. The guy working did an awesome job helping us with all of our questions.

Yelp
I've been waiting for this to open in Houston for such a long time! For those that don't know, Pressed Juicery is California based and they're opening a few stores in Houston (Heights & Rice Village). Pandemic Procedures: Since they're opening during a pandemic, they have implemented great social distancing procedures! They have stickers on the ground and hand sanitizers around the store. Workers were wearing a mask and gloves of course. All the juices and products are refrigerated behind their counter so you don't have to worry about other customers touching the products. Freezes: They offer four different flavors of their plant-based "frozen yogurt": Matcha, strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate! They offer various topping and drizzles. ($5) Opening specials: As of right now they are offering 5. Juices for $15 which is a steal considering one juice is normally $6! (I believe they offer a special for wellness shots too) Until 06/18/2020 they will be donating 100% of their proceeds to NAACP for the BLM movement (bring cash to tip extra ;))

Yelp
super yum açaí bowls!! the girl working there was also super sweet the topping were so fresh and crunchy but i'm sad there wasn't fruit

Yelp
Worker was so rude and unhelpful for no reason :( got a pre packed smoothie that was really good though.

Yelp
I just had the most awful experience at pressed. I placed an online order which got cancelled and I figured that they might have not had some juices in stock. I tried calling the store twice - no answer. I drive to the store and there was a lady on her phone sitting in the front area, who didn't seem friendly nor looked like she cared to be there. I explained to her what was going on, and told her that I needed help finding juices for a day cleanse, and completely unimpressed she looked at me, rolled her eyes and bluntly said, "What are you talking about?". I then pointed at the menu which clearly states the day cleanse options, and she told me "I don't know much about these juices, we cancel orders for the don't have in stock.". The whole time I was respectful, and probably way too nice. I then squinted to look at the juices that they have in stock to see which juice I needed to replace and she literally just stared at me the whole time as if I was an inconvenience to her. I ended up buying 5 juices - but I left with regret for not giving her a piece of my mind. I worked retail for 15 years, and No customer deserves to be treated like such. I will never go back again.

Yelp
The juices here are sooo good! I've tried a couple of other places, but Pressed is my favorite. I usually do a juice cleanse every other month and choose a package they have already. Pickup is always a smooth process and the customer service is great. Did I mention how good the juices are?

Chandra Q.

Yelp
I visited Pressed Juicery 2X. The juice was just okay, but the the attitudes of the young girl was just terrible. I went early morning both times and I can clearly see that she is not a morning person. I really wanted to get my money back the second time but the juice wasn't for me. The shop is 8 minutes from me, but I promise I've being driving further and paying a few cents more just to feel like my presence as a customer is appreciated. The juice is better at the other juicery bc the customer service is better.

Annie H.

Yelp
This is a good place to go if you're looking for a healthy, sweet treat! This place is popular for their juices, but my brother and I decided to try out the vanilla freeze with granola, goji berries, and blueberries, and the acai superfood bowl. The vanilla freeze didn't have much flavor, but it was still enjoyable for how healthy it was. The Acai bowl was good, but there wasn't really anything mind blowing about it. They do have a nice array of toppings that you can choose from and their fruit is very fresh!
google avatar

Patricia R.

Yelp
I love this place! The customer service is always amazing. My favorite is the freeze and they are very generous with toppings. I have to come at least once a week.

Nina F.

Yelp
All the green juices have celery, ew. Also, everything is made out of "juice" not fresh ingredients. No bueno!

Milena T.

Yelp
First pressed i've ever been to that only had the vanilla flavored freeze. they had it the back but said it took two hours to make the chocolate ... it's 4:23 pm not like they just opened.

Bailey B.

Yelp
First time going here with one of my friends who raved about the locations in California. I got the vanilla freeze with the granola and granola butter. It was delicious! I wish I could buy the granola by the bag because I would eat it everyday!

Maria L.

Yelp
Meh. The juices are made in California and transported to each shop....so you can def tell in the flavor profiles. They tasted ok but I was not impressed.

Ciabatta B.

Yelp
Love this pressed location staff is super nice, and they always make sure the customer has the best experience
