Pressed Juicery

This place tickled my fancy to the max. Where do I start? I was referred to try Pressed Juicery by my girlfriend who works nearby in Venice and got a free Latte referral promotion card which she let me use (great marketing tactic)! Thus, I got to try one of their Superfood Lattés from their new "Heat Menu." I got a Turmeric Latte which they describe as Velvety Spice that is good for brain function and has anti-inflammatory effects. I nearly went for the Matcha Latte instead which offers calm energy and antioxidant properties, however, being that there seemed to be bug in the air giving lots of people colds, I went with anti-inflammatory.. Brain function as an added benefit? SOLD - I'VE GOT REVIEWS TO WRITE! Pressed juice is known mostly for its cold juices which lend numerous health benefits and I was enticed to inquire about if a cleanse could be good for me since I had been considering doing one. The employee was friendly and honest. She said that her manager would be able to give me a lot more advice than her since I asked her when she thought a good time to do a cleanse would be and that I had a fear of losing bowel control mid-day. I passed on the cleanse idea that day but hey, at least I got honesty! Sometimes thats all you can really ask for and I appreciate honesty. I am sure the juices are phenomenal but it was the rest of the menu that charmed me at Pressed Juicery. They have soft serve ice creams made in house from 100% WHOLE FRUITS, NUTS, and VEGETABLES that are to die for. When I asked if a particular flavor was good, the friendly employee literally gave me every single flavor to taste test and I was so happy because of it (see attached photo). These items are on the "Freeze Menu" and I really enjoyed trying them. Last but not least there was an array of bite sized healthy goodies for a quick bite. They all looked incredibly enticing (photo attached). The design in this retail spot is nice and everything seems to point to the colorful products. They do a good job of not taking away from their main attractions nor doing too much beside good ol' fashioned kind, customer service. As for reasons to be a loyal customer PJ gives a lot and I'm only scratching the surface in this review. Kudos Pressed Juicery, I'll be back.

I like the idea but the flavors are not good and the employees need to have better product knowledge.

December 4, 2020 for 1:32 PM the clerk (a young male) was very unfriendly, and most unpleasant. His customer service skills need more than an overhaul. Will not be coming back here.

Heads up. This is NOT organic, so if you're paying for juice, WHY? To drink juiced pesticide?

I stopped by this location today to pick up 6 juices. It was two gentleman in the store, one behind the counter and one mopping . It was approximately 8:20 and half the lights was cut off. As soon as I walked in, the guy that was mopping immediately stop what he was doing to ask me how may I help you?! I responded uhh, I would like to purchase a juice. The other guy behind the counter seen the weird transaction between us and stepped in (he was cool). The guy that was mopping continue to mop all around me with an attitude, not even waiting for me to leave the store. He needs to work on his customer service

Check your cleanse labels! Mine were scrambled and I was able to catch it by the second truth so hopefully I will not. I guess the just stuck the number one through six on randomly

At this location, Henry is very nice and helpful. The other two women were very rude to me. I actually walked to get a dragonfruit bowl, but they are very unfriendly so I couldn’t even purchase it out of principle and not paying for poor treatment. But, now I am thirsty.

Just finished my run and got a Chocolate and sweet cream Freeze. It was very good and satisfied my sweet tooth.

First of all I love Pressed Juicery juices and I buy this product every week but this location has the worst staff of all its location esp this young guy named Mateo (that's what he said his name was) I was polite to order my drinks and when I was about to walk out the door, he asked me to throw away my one small tasting cup which I didn't see any nearby trash, of course I did what he told me to do but the tone of his voice commanding me sounds like I'm not a paying customer, very rude! I was thinking of saying anything back but rather not, so I would rather NOT go back to this location!!!

Service was so great!! We were able to taste test so many juices before selecting which we wanted. The Beet Roots 3 was the BEST! Their acai bowls are good too!

First time me and my girl came here to get an açaí bowl and honestly I expected a better attitude from this person idk her name but did not even say hi, how are you or anything! Pls make sure who your hiring make sure they have a better attitude to work!

I just went in here looking for a juice that has ginger in it because my tummy was feeling a little off today. The girl that works there with the orangey hair was very unapproachable not very friendly and not helpful at all. And then she offhandedly asked a guy who walked in if he could help me because she needs to go on her lunch. The guy, however, was nice enough and sold me the item that I needed. The girl needs to work on her customer service skills.

Favorite place to get acai bowls! The toppings are delicious and the base tastes like ice cream!

Pressed Juicery is a good option when you don't have the time to make your own fresh juices. They have a variety of juice cleanse options or you can mix and match individual bottles to create your own juice bundle. The apple, lemon, cayenne, ginger juice has a strong kick and is my favorite as it provides relief for a variety of mild conditions including cold symptoms. A store employee at a different location suggested this one for me a few years back for a sore throat and I've been a fan ever since. They sell Aloe Vera H2O and Chlorophyll H20 as "premium" waters. I make my own Chlorophyll H20 but I like grabbing a few bottles of the Aloe H20 for extra hydration + Aloe is great for the skin. They also have several "wellness shots" that you can purchase individually or as a "shot bundle" (6 bottles). You can browse the online menu, purchase your selection and pick up in store; super easy and convenient.

Nice, clean location on Abbot Kinney to stop by and grab your cold pressed juices and soft serves. I never got into the whole juice cleanse and detox thing, but the Freezes are probably what keeps me coming back. Utilizing fresh produce from the Central Valley, they use a High Pressure Processing method to create their juices. The process eliminates harmful bacteria, and ensures maximum nutrition is extracted. They have a wide range of bottles to choose from. There are citrus juices, with combinations like Coconut Cucumber Pineapple and Grapefruit Aloe Vera Mint. There's also fruit juices, green juices (fruits with kale, celery), lemonades, oat milks, "premium" waters, and root juices (carrots, beets). My favorites would have to be Strawberry Almond and Chocolate Almond. Made with coconut water, these juices are on the creamy side, essentially plant-based alternatives for milk. They recommend consumption within 7 days of purchase, three days from opening the bottle. Prices range from $6.50 to $8.75. Members can pay as low as $5 per juice. Membership is a minimum of $10 per month, which can be used towards purchases. The Freeze is like the juice, but in a different form. Plant-based soft serve that utilizes the same fresh produce. I've had the chocolate and matcha freezes, which taste great. There are a variety of toppings, fruits, and syrups to choose from. Very consistent to my experiences at their other juice bars, expect the same quality products and service.

The best spots and hydration juices. It's very clean in there and so organized and cute. The service is amazing, Joseph and Harrison and the tall guy that plays guitar on his breaks are the best. And the manager Jonathan is sweet.

"Alex P." The manager is rude and needs to quit his job. Poor character I will def. not be back. The Açaí bowl was disgusting full of sugar and FAR from natural or sugar free as he stated. I will not come back here. This reviews has an additional star because his employee Diana was more professional and attentive than him. If you hate your job don't take it out on the customers Alex.

Let me start off by saying I love Pressed Juicery, especially pressed freeze. It's one of the more "affordable" juice brands and they are constantly having promos/deals, which is great for people like myself who like to treat themselves without breaking the bank. The reason I'm knocking off stars for this place is because it seems like they do not give you a full serving of pressed freeze in your order. If I'm paying $6 for a cup of pricey frozen juice, I expect the cup to be filled all the way, not partially full. This won't stop me from going to Pressed Juicery but I think I'll stick with other locations, especially since parking in this area is pretty awful.

Free freeze? Yes please! Just signed up and boom, ice cream craving satisfied. Love that it's made from natural ingredients. I got to try some samples of good juices too. Definitely recommend if you want to indulge that sweet tooth while still being kind to your body! It's dairy free too!

I went to this location on a Tuesday night with my friends. The gentlemen who helped us, Alec, was such a joy. He really made our night! We'll be back because of him.

Who doesn't love pressed? It's affordable and good. I'm obsessed. Jesse and Jonathan helped me out they always give over the top service. They know the products and can give great recommendations.

Love coming here, stopped by to purchase some old and new flavors (coconut creme). The process if always so easy here. The staff k le lots of details about the drinks and always update you with specials which is always helpful. This location is small but has everything from their drinks to their ice creams which is a plus. However parking here is a pain but by luck when I stopped by I found one right upfront of the establishment. Either way I would definitely come here again if I need to. Would also recommend to anyone in the area.

Alex was beyond rude and extremely offensive as a paid $10 for a hollow cup of pressed freeze. When asking me if I have a number in the system and I said no thank you he persisted that I need to give him a phone number and I was not wanting to. It is very important that you treat your customers with the respect if you're going to charge that much for frozen dates.

I love how you can order on the app and pick up close by, I get their cold pressed juice. With the special offer I saved a lot also!

I love this concept! Frozen pressed juice that is lactose free! This is one place where you can indulge without the guilt. I customized mine with matcha and vanilla half and half with granola, dark chocolate, and almond butter drizzle. So good! You can add different healthy toppings such as fruit, dark chocolate, coconut, granola, etc. As for ice cream flavors they had vanilla, matcha, strawberry, and chocolate. You can try them out before purchasing. They also offer healthy hot beverages. It's a small shop next to Lemonade and it's write on the Abbott Kinney strip. I do want to try all their combos now that they've sparked my interest.

I have the Pressed Juicery Membership and I go at least once or twice a week. I just moved to Santa Monica but I've already tried all of their locations nearby and this one has been my least favorite unfortunately :/ The employees are nice & helpful but I just got the feeling that this location wasn't the tidiest or cleanest. I ordered a freeze and the machine looked like it definitely needed to be wiped down and cleaned. The toppings looked gross honestly.. usually they have all of the toppings full and available and everything looks fresh but at this location the fruit did not look appetizing and they were missing different toppings because they hadn't refilled anything. They had a vegan chocolate m&m options but all of the m&ms were melted together and looked wet for some reason, the usually have more fruit cut up. I might have come on the wrong day so I will definitely be coming back and giving this location another chance but as of right now my overall opinion of this location is poor and I will be going to the other locations when I'm having a juice craving!

SammyQ checking in here. This Pressed Juicery is clean, open and overall a good location. We went there on a $2 freeze day and enjoyed a Size 1 Freeze. Chocolate is a fail-safe flavor but the seasonal Pumpkin flavor was off the heezy that day too. James our presser was very nice and very cool under the pressure of the long line. On a last note, definitely go for the candied pecans as a topping!

I love pressed freeze if I'm in the mood for something sweet and relatively healthy. Chocolate is still my favorite flavor then vanilla, the others one just taste weird to me. They really need to up their topping game, they used to have better toppings like chocolate covered goji berries but it's way too limited now. I am not expecting crazy shit like Yogurtland or Menchies just add more variety. Juice wise, I don't drink juice much but their roots 1, Vogue limited edition and green juices with apple are good options.

I am obsessed with pressed Juicery freezes I get them all the time they're not cheap but they're worth it for a vegan, refined sugar-free gluten-free dessert.

Rude male employee who refused to substitute a flavor despite the original açai flavor machine being broken. He was rude and unkind. I will not visit this location and spend 10+ dollars on this garbage.

This is a tough review because I would usually reserve a 3 star or lower for a place I don't intend to go back to. However, I do love their freezes, especially the almond butter, but it can be hit or miss. They are frequently out of flavors or toppings. I think the main rational behind this review is the staff. Also hit or miss. They are typically very slow and I think I've been lucky to never have gone in when there's other people. I usually go in late night and it seems like the employees are just really high. NBD, but that does seem to affect the speed of the order. I also find I have to keep repeating myself during the order so it doesn't get messed up. With that being said, everyone has been very nice. There's parking on the street right out front, however spots can be hard to find on a busy day.

Comparing this location to The Point's Pressed Juicery, I like this one a lot more! It's pretty new on Abbott Kinney, and it has freeze! Parking: street parking on the street behind is your best bet Staff: My friend and I were helped by a worker named Dominique and she was so nice and helpful! She gave us good recommendations, such as... TIP: get the coconut water when it's pink! That's when it's in season/ tastes the best. I had a size one freeze of matcha and chocolate (my fav combo for around $5) and it was delicious. My friend got a smoothie ($8) which was a little pricey but that's just how this store is, think of it as a meal replacement? She had the almond butter protein smoothie and added chocolate as recommended, and it was really good/filling! Perfect place to come for a refreshing afternoon treat!

The staff here is so friendly! One of the girls who helped me, I was sure it was her training week, was so friendly and excited to be there. I wasn't very pleased with my helping of almond butter when I asked for double, so I will say that. But I did luck out with parking there, as I got a spot right out front (which I think is a rare occurrence for Abbot Kinney). I was in a little bit of a dessert mood so I got the size 2 with vanilla and sides of double almond butter, cacao drizzle, and chocolate chips. Pressed is good at teaching their staff how to make every serving beautiful, I will give them that. I just wish this place had a better parking situation, because while I lucked out this time, I don't always. Here's to hoping I get a proper helping of double almond butter next time!

Great new location for Pressed Juicery. I walked in Monday morning and was instantly greeted by Tomie who offered great customer service. I wanted to purchase 5-6 juice because I was going to be juice fasting that day for a cleanse and she was quick to offer their current in store deal of 5 juices for $29. What a great deal! I basically chose all of the juices minus one of the root ones, that comes in the cleanse 1 for beginners. I work a mile away so it's nice to know I can swing by anytime to get my pressed juice fix.

Stopped in fir açaí bowl day and what a wonderful treat fir only $2. I took a friend, bought juices and a chlorophyll shot for us to share and felt the best I have in DAYS...needless to say the service was awesome!

Pressed Juicery is one of the better juice places that doesn't charge $10 and up for a bottle of juice. Half the time you're paying for the extra fancy glass bottle that you may or may not reuse. I've been a long time fan of Pressed Juicery. It's about $7 a juice but if you get 5 juices it's $29. Whether you're on that fancy juice cleanse or not, it's still a really great deal. My faves... GREENS 3 - It's got all that green you need with a bit of the ginger kick. ROOTS 1 - Beet it girllll or guy. :) Sometimes the green isn't enough for me so i'll get this. VANILLA ALMOND - It's on the thicker side of juices but I think it's perfect if you're on the go and need something to hold you over until you eat your super late lunch. :( ACTIVATED CHARCOAL LEMONADE - It kind of sounds like you're about to drink a science experiment.... Great refresher though. :) ENJOY!

Came to this location to get the $2 freeze for national ice cream day. It was my first time trying their freezes so I was unsure what to expect. I think the toppings made it taste a lot better, but given that they're made with clean ingredients, it tasted pretty good, and felt super light and refreshing :)

If you are looking for a healthy treat, a freeze from Pressed Juicery is a solid choice. They have several different flavors of freezes, and they do taste similarly to frozen yogurt. The flavors were unique and interesting. I was a little bit disappointed by the topping selection--they looked like they had been sitting out for a long time and were not super fresh-appearing. However, they did taste fine. Overall, a good spot for a healthy dessert-like treat.

Whatever you do, do NOT order online. By far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Been a member for over 2 years, and was treated like absolute dirt by these employees. If they even have what you want in stock (a rarity), the lack of communication or help from anyone at the store is laughably egregious. Zero understanding, zero willingness to problem solve. I truly can't say enough bad things. Go elsewhere.

The people who work here are so knowledgeable and friendly! Very patient and genuinely want to take the time to explain the products and your options. Prices are very decent for fresh juice. Great juice options and wellness shots! Parking can be tough as it's Abbot Kinney but you can always do a Postmates delivery. There's even a rewards card. Love it!

I've been buying from Pressed Juicery since their first store beginning in Brentwood. I've even shopped at their Oahu store when I moved to Hawaii. Some stores are better than others but quality seems consistent which is important. Corey helped me at this location today and I couldn't be more pleased! Great customer service from him; made excellent recommendations, offered samples, even helped me bundle to get the most for my money. You can tell he's passionate about his job, a rare find these days in the service industry. Thanks Corey, you rock! Hope you're still there on my next visit lol.

LOVE Pressed Juicery! You can't beat 5 juices for $29.50. My go-to juices include greens 3 & 5, roots 3, and citrus 1 & 2. The seasonal watermelon juices are super refreshing as well, one of which has a kick of jalepeno. During my most recent visit, I tried Freeze, which is frozen juice, but tastes and feels like froyo. The matcha flavor was delicious, topped with fresh fruit and coconut. Join the loyalty program to get free juices!

Went here while they had their anniversary special on... $5 for anything in store! Ended up getting their vegan ice cream and it was delicious! I think this is the only location that has it so if you're nearby you have to at least try a sample! The juices are all really good too.

All of the root juices are my fave! I wish I could get juice from here everyday. Samone is a sweetheart by the way

My party really enjoyed this venue. The staff were very kind and the freezes we ordered were scrumptious. We enjoyed the almond butter and jelly and the chocolate covered strawberry freezes. I would absolutely recommend this and would visit again.

This location has everything Pressed has to offer like their juices, snacks, freezes, and hot drinks so it is a great one stop shop if you're in the mood for this kinda thing. Their freezes are amazing as usual, but if it's a cold day their lattes are also very soothing. The location is definitely going be a bit more of a struggle to get to considering it's on the trendiest of streets in LA, but worth it if you're in the area.

We were frequent customers; however, after a big delivery issue and Pressed Juicery Abbot Kinney failing to rectify the issue, we will definitely NOT be returning.

Tina is awesome. So knowledgeable. Tried a few juices, she helped us find the perfect ones. Vogue pink lemonade and strawberry apple lime were the winners.

Not thrilled with Brittany's service today. We ordered 4 pressed freezes and she was unhappy and unhelpful. I hope she has a better day next time because we didn't feel like the service or quality was that great.

The best! Such great flavor and variety. The quality is fantastic and the customer service is awesome. The guy who helped me at this location was super knowledgeable. Love this place.

I always went to a Juicery in Long Beach but once I moved to a different city it was too far to go there, I just found out about this place not that far from my job. Wow i finally found my new spot. Very good and fast. Highly recommend.

I already know this is going to be my newest addiction. The Matcha "ice cream" is amazing--and has kale in it! And is dairy free!! With some fruit on top and a drizzle of almond butter--amazing! And I would have expected the pricing to be higher given the location, but it wasn't bad.

Amazing. Nice guy, great service, get citrus 2, it's great. Curtis 2 and strawberry almond... oh... my... god... simply fantastic. Simple ingredients but great taste, very healthy, no preservatives.

I love this place!!! Due to a recent lifestyle change I was looking for a frozen yogurt alternative. I found that and much more! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Great frozen treats with no added sugar - very hard to find in the city of sugar filled snacks. Will definitely be returning.
