Pressed Juicery at Fashion Valley is a fantastic spot for fresh, high-quality juices, but my recent experience highlighted some areas for improvement. I stopped in on December 30 around 4 PM to pick up a double order of their new 1-day reset cleanse. Unfortunately, there was only one employee working, managing orders, making juices, and checking out customers. While the store wasn’t packed, it still created a delay, as I had to wait in line longer than expected for what should have been a quick pickup.
Despite the staffing challenge, the lone employee was a true standout. She remained super friendly, welcoming, and professional, even as she appeared visibly overwhelmed. Her ability to handle multiple tasks with a positive attitude and efficiently manage everyone in line was impressive. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about providing excellent customer service, which made the experience more enjoyable. However, I couldn’t help but feel for her, as this situation could have been easily avoided with better staffing.
The line of customers waiting was calm and understanding, but this might not always be the case during busier times. Pressed Juicery should consider reevaluating their staffing policies to ensure employees aren’t placed in such stressful situations. A well-staffed store would not only improve the customer experience but also support their team members in delivering the top-notch service the brand is known for.
As for the juices, they were excellent as always. My partner and I completed the 1-day reset cleanse and felt great afterward. The variety of flavors and the quality of the ingredients make it worth returning for future cleanses. Overall, I’ll continue to support Pressed Juicery, but I hope they address the staffing issue to enhance both the customer and employee experience.
