Rude Experience
Arrived this morning at 7:58. I was there early so I waited by the door with no issue as they open at 8am.
With a scowl on her face, the woman working there came to the door and simply unlocked it. Didn't open the door to welcome me to the establishment - the polite and customer service friendly thing to do.
When I entered, she simply said "what can I get for you?" There was no good morning, welcome, common courtesy, please or thank you. Never once a thank you during this visit.
I politely placed my order and paid. I quietly waited and enjoyed the ambience while she prepared my bowl. When it was completed, she simply slid the bowl across the counter and said nothing to me. Zero. Not even your bowl is ready. Not a whisper of acknowledgment that I was even present.
I get it, people have bad days and maybe be having a tough time in life and that is unfortunate. But what has happened to customer service? What has happened to a smile on your face to welcome your customer? There needs to be some serious customer service training in this establishment. I hope they are looking at their reviews.
The $15 Açaí bowl was great.
