Our Fashion Afternoon Tea experience at The Berkeley Hotel was 4.5! The presentation was truly remarkable, with seasonal cakes that captured the essence of style. The standout was the delightful salmon sandwich. The festive ambiance, adorned with Christmas decorations, added a charming touch. However, the sweetness of most cakes slightly overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable experience. Fine-tuning the sweetness would elevate this already stylish affair.

The overall experience was amazing from the moment I have entered, they welcome you as a favored guest. The vibes and the service were outstanding. The food wasn’t so good. The sandwiches were good. The fashion dessert was amazing but some of the flavors were not good. perfect details on the dessert. They don’t serve us scones but I asked for it and they were good and soft. The range of tea and drinks available was impressive. I would absolutely come again in a different season.

No review can do justice to the high quality of this experience: from the moment you arrive, you are treated like a favoured guest. The range of tea, coffee and savouries is outstanding, but the regularly updated cakes and sweets are the real stars here. The venue is everything you could want from a classy tea room, with great attention to detail and enough staff to make sure that your table is never neglected. Book a table, you won't regret it.

Absolutely delightful afternoon tea experience. The sandwiches were pretty standard, but they catered for vegetarians well and you can order more if you’re hungry. The cakes were so inventive and surprising that it was a delight to discover them. There were SO many, each inspired by a fashion designer, but thankfully they’re not too sweet so you can make your way through all of them pretty easily. Prepare yourself for not having scones (you can ask for them but you honestly won’t need them after all those sandwiches and cakes!) The one miss for me was the tea. I think I probably chose the lightest ones (White Peony, Jasmine Silver Needle, Ali Shan), and because they brew them for you, they really didn’t have very much colour, fragrance or taste. My friends had other teas that they really enjoyed, though - the favourite was the chai. The service was impeccable, didn’t miss a step. It felt personal rather than the conveyor-belt experience that some venues can feel like. Our waiters were really lovely and attentive and didn’t rush us in the slightest - we stayed for four hours and felt completely relaxed. Highly recommend!

The afternoon tea is just fine. Food tastes well, but nothing special. The highlight is the design idea of the food with fashion icons, the mocktails and nice and relaxing environment to talk. No scones included in the afternoon tea package, need to order separately. But good to have the Easter edition.

I came a couple of years back but if you want an afternoon tea that's a bit more special with a theme, then please come to this place. The afternoon tea was pretty and fun. The staff were very attentive and detailed in explaining the theme of the afternoon tea. This was a very memorable afternoon tea experience.

One the best high teas ever!!! So cute! We went to the fashion high tea and the desserts were sooo creative and cute and they even came with theirs runway pictures. And they change with the season too! The food was amazing and you can even get unlimited sandwiches. The service was absolutely wonderful.

Some of the flavours were truly delicious. The bread used for the sandwiches was poor in my opinion. But the design and care was truly amazing. So much detail. Also, the range of tea available was impressive.

I decided upon afternoon tea at the Berkeley hotel for my birthday. I didn't see the parking situation here because we were dropped off by taxi. But the door man was friendly. Upon entering the hotel it was absolutely beautiful The staff was pristine and checked in our coats and let us to our table straight away. We were greeted by our waitress she was very knowledgeable and answered all questions and asked us about dietary restrictions and/or food preferences and had the the tea sandwiches altered accordingly. My sandwiches were different from my lunch companions because I said I did not like tomatoes or mushrooms (see pic). However, they were all very flavorful. Being it was our first time the sandwich did not seem like they would be very filling it they were and we even had the option to get seconds. They really went out of their way to make my birthday special by giving me some truffles etc. and most of the staff to wished me happy birthday. So that was really nice. All in all the experience was first class service we all got £74 package along with a bottle of champagne we ended up leaving paying about £450 or so.

Oh boy... well, I do believe that you have to do afternoon tea anytime you're in London. So here we are... it's always going to be expensive and I'm never expecting the sweets to really be that good. But this experience was less than satisfactory... First, for the price that you pay for such an already hoity toity event, I would've expected much better service, yet our server seemed less than enthusiastic. Second, yes, you expect the sweets to be more decorative than tasty, but I at least expected the little sandwiches and other eats to be somewhat palatable, but no. All the food was quite disappointing. But enough of all the negative talk, the tea and champagne was lovely. The running theme at the time was Dior, so the sweets were all shaped in Dior shoes, handbags, clothes, etc. And it was very well presented. Although I am a aware that we do afternoon tea purely for the excuse of dressing up and just having a girl's day. I still wouldn't come back to this place for Afternoon tea, I would definitely go somewhere else next time.

No worth the money. Server only came 2 times to ask for tea. When you pay this much for an afternoon tea you expect more. Also they charged us 20$ more per person. We called the next day and they were supposed to give us an answer but never called back. I am so disappointed with the experience.

Horrible! The staff is unprofessional and moronic! Tea hour is grossly overpriced for mediocre pastries and tea-sandwiches. 180 Pounds for two tea services. They don't even give you two of each thing, they serve you one of each and expect you to share. I wanted to take care of the bill so I wouldn't have fight with my friend over who was paying, when i handed my credit card to the hostess and told her to give it to the server she stood there, like a deer in headlights and didn't know what to do...acting like it was an impossible task to do such a thing. The place is not big, its not that difficult to figure out who our server is.... The server came over and asked if it was my card and insisted on running the card in front of me...the level of unprofessionalism in this place is unreal! Do yourself a favor and skip it this horrible place!
