Google
Wonderful coffee shop with a constant flow of locals and folks chatting and starting their days. Today I had a great Bacon, Spinach, Tomato (BST) sandwich on brioche bread and a large coffee. Where did they get these perky tomatoes from?!?

Hardly is a very picturesque town in northern Nee Jersey… the perfect spot for Pretty Bird. Although they were closing at 4PM, when we arrived at 3:15 the barista was busy, cafe was buzzing with activity. And oh my, my wife’s cappuccino was perfect and my nitro so tasty, I’m still sipping it two hours later. A must stop for coffee lovers… and I couldn’t resist taking a bag of beans home to enjoy as pour overs.

I have come here about half a dozen times and each time got progressively worse. This place is so so small and the opposite of child friendly. They allow one person with a laptop to take up an entire booth that could fit multiple people. They also allow people to call dibs on the entire long tables leaving families to sit their children on their lap, uncomfortably on the high tops or give up and take it to go. Their flavored lattes have become tasteless and the prices skyrocketed. Their food is tiny sloppily constructed salt bombs served by miserable baristas who still want that pricey tip. I get better service at Starbucks, which sucks because I like to patronize small businesses, but this is not worth it.

Google
I can’t believe that I haven’t rated this place yet! I come here at least twice a week and it’s always awesome! This is my first time ordering the smash burger and I’m not disappointed. I usually get a breakfast sandwich but, today I’m I decided to change it up.

Google
What an amazing experience! Whether eating in or taking to go - the service here is impeccable. They have a great selection and will be sure you’re happy with your order. Great vibes and an amazing spot to just hang out, work, read, or just be. Can’t wait to go back.

Google
Deleted my original review and reposting on my main review account so more can see it. I always thought latte art was really cool and impressive but never had it made for me so I looked on Google for it and found this absolute gem. The prices are similar to Starbucks but the quality is so much better that the prices are actually justified. It was worth the 15 minute drive each way from my house. Got a perfect chocolate chocolate chunk cookie the size of my hand and 2 specialty lattes. 1 Ferrero Rocher and 1 Blackberry Amaretto and both were some of the best coffee I've ever had and I've had authentic Blue Mountain Coffee in Montego Bay before. The atmosphere was cozy and decorated for Halloween which was a nice touch and the service matched the upscale look of the interior. Left a $5 tip in the jar and felt like I under tipped.

I recently visited a nice local cafe, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was cozy with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant vibe of the place. As for the coffee, I opted for a mocha latte today, and it was superb. The rich espresso blended perfectly with the creamy milk and decadent chocolate, creating a delightful balance of flavors. It was just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming, making it a perfect treat for my afternoon. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a cozy spot to enjoy quality coffee and good company. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try out more of their offerings!

Google
Perfect spot to grab breakfast and coffee to go, away from the main hubbub of New Hope. Small spot that fills up quickly but they work fast to also get everyone going too. I love that food was made to order and not just sitting in a fridge ready to be nuked and handed over. Breakfast menu is fun and inventive. Ordered their breakfast bowl, you must add the Sriracha to it! Creamy from the grits, with a perfectly cooked over eat egg and tasty sausage patty tossed in, the Sriracha just adds to it and brings everything together. The smash burger biscuit was just perfect too! Hate to say this but their Donuts were just.... Eh, sadly... Ordered one of each glaze they offered plus their apple cider donuts and they were pretty to look at but tasted almost waxy and whatever oil they use to fry them up doesn't taste good at all. Regardless, the coffee was good, the Chai latte was good too! Will be back when in the area again!

Yelp
This place is very unique being that it serves as a coffee/breakfast place and a lunch place. We came in during one of the festivals and sat on the front porch area. They also have shakes. I'd like to come back and try one. Service was quick and the servers are kind. You can dine in or out.

Yelp
Nice coffee shop. We traveled across town just to check this place out ate reading about it in the Philadelphia Inquirer. I am glad we came, otherwise when would I ever try a Blackberry Ameretto Latte! I asked for it to be a little less sweet than usual just knowing I don't like my coffee too sweet. It was delicious! My husband had the Cortado and enjoyed it. We each had an Avocado toast, his with bacon and mine with eggs and bacon. It was okay, I can see where they tried with the everything bagel spice but overall, there was nothing special about it. There shop was cute, small and busy. People come with their laptops and there is not alot of turnover for the tables, we just got lucky getting a table when we came in on a mid morning weekday. Staff was nice. I do recommend this place.

Mark L.

Yelp
Good food and of course coffee! The service is good and reasonably quick given the volume of eat-in and take-out.

Theresa K.

Yelp
Today was my first visit. The menu is limited. I asked if I could skip the bread and just have scrambled eggs with vegetables. The employee checked and said sure they could put it in a box. The food lacked creativity and taste. It was literally a flat egg patty, sautéed spinach, half a portobello and one slice of tomato. It was almost like it was scraped off a sandwich. Maybe salt and pepper would have helped? The lavender latte was tasting more like rosemary. Just disappointed. I have heard such great reviews.

Tim A.

Yelp
The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit at Pretty Bird is unbeatable (just like the Smash Burger)! | grab one at least twice a week - it's that good. The staff? Absolutely awesome.

Yelp
Stopped in mid morning on a Saturday in February. The place was packed with a line around their tables. The line moved fast. We ordered two Carmel macchiatos and two bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on biscuits. The server said the sandwiches would take about 15 minutes. It ended up being half that time. The coffee and food were excellent. The service was fast and friendly. I recommend Pretty Bird Coffee if you are in the area.

Yelp
Coffee sure. Burgers no way. If you enjoy the plastic-like texture of these dry smashed burgers (when did things like foods like this become popular as opposed a nice juicy burger?), be my guest. Service, vibe and surroundings are fine. I've been twice now just too be sure I was being fair. That was one too many visits for burgers. Choice and the morning things are fine. Burgers no.

Yelp
Came here for some donuts since our last trip/attempt was unsuccessful, well guess what?! THEY STOPPED SELLING THEM 3 WEEKS AGO! Lol just our luck haha. Anyways went with this scone the lemon blueberry scone and it was one of the best I've ever had. I also had a lavender latte which meh not my most favorite ever but decent. The mystery kids had hot cocoa (they ate breakfast before we left and wanted donuts as a treat). Mystery man had bird breakfast sandwich with bacon and an iced pistachio vanilla latte. The pistachio vanilla latte was delicious. He really liked the sandwich too. The place was packed! Not an open seat in house always a good sign. Ambiance is nice it is coffee shop vibes with a modern/cabin type of feel. Like I said it was packed and the employees were very busy.

Yelp
I wish that the latte sizes would reflect the amount of espresso. I always get a large iced latte and i regret it every time because I either have to pay $10 for my drink to taste like there is espresso in it or i have to have a giant cup of milk with the same amount of espresso they put in a 16 oz cup in a 24 oz cup. it even could be the same as the 12 oz i am not sure because i have never ordered it. The staff is wonderful though! I come in for convenience sometimes... but I really wish they would either lower the price of the extra espresso or add a shot to their large.

Yelp
Favorite local coffee shop! GF bread for sandwiches. The veggie one is my favorite ! My go to is a vanilla oatmilk latte. They have non dairy options ! Staff is always friendly here ! Highly recommend coming in and trying !

Angeline L.

Yelp
Love this place. Coffee is amazing just veryyyy caffeinated! They also have really good decaf lattes for anyone isn't a caffeine person. Nice food selection too, but they stop serving food pretty early for me. Otherwise would recommend.

Carol B.

Yelp
This was my second visit. Service is good. The burger was beyond being a anything tasty at all. No seasonings, strange texture of the meat, not even resembling my first hamburger in taste, flavor. The Fries were not crispy at all. 2nd visit and last one. The rating is 2 not four stars!

Lisa H.

Yelp
I've been completely obsessed with Pretty Bird since I discovered it a month ago. So much so that I had to add more money to my EZ-Pass since I live in NJ. The coffee is amazing. I get an annoying drink so I apologize to all the baristas. This coffee is so good it's the only coffee I've ever been able to drink black. I've also started buying the bags of coffee to drink at home. The service is amazing! The baristas really enhance the experience. I love grabbing a coffee and doing a little work. But it can get packed! It seems to have a cult following and I'm fully in the cult. I tell everyone to try it so I'm adding to the problem. They even have gluten free bread for their sandwiches so I can eat which is really nice. Run, don't walk there.

Yelp
Really solid coffee shop. The coffee was good and in a super cute mug. The best things about the café was the seating and the variety in their menu.
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
Heard about this place and wanted to give it a try. I ordered the Lavender iced latte. Let me tell you worth every penny. Atmosphere of this coffee shop is really nice. It has a warm, cozy type of feel to it. The service was attentive, welcoming and even though this was my first time coming to Pretty Bird Coffee I felt as I have been coming here for a long time. If your in the Yardley area and if you like coffee yeah I would definitely stop in for a cup of Joe.

Yelp
This review is for Pretty Burger, not Pretty Bird, although they share the same space. If you are fortunate enough to have enjoyed the fresh brewed coffee at Pretty Bird on Main Street, Yardley, then you already know the location of Pretty Burger. They share the space in a well renovated 19th Century building with intimate view of Vault Brewery across the way. Their menu is limited to burgers, fries, shakes and salads, but the quality is there and the sandwiches can be customized with a long list of traditional accessories, both free and upcharged. I ordered a single smashburger without cheese, and added mushrooms, sautéed onions and banana peppers, on a commercial sesame seed bun. I also went with their fries and a PB shake to get a broad sample. I sat at a high top along a window to take in the street scene, and less than ten minutes later was served my meal by a pleasant server, who suggested trying their sauces (spicy and less so). Everything was imaginatively packaged, with the fries taking the prize - in a large cardboard container that held enough for three. (BTW, I didn't care for either sauce, as one was too salty and the other had a weird almost mustardy aftertaste). All burgers are smashed and served well done. No choice there, but it was very tasty, especially without a cheese costar. It stood well on its own with just enough grease to make it a true slider. The fries were a narrow gauge and crisp. They were salted to enhance flavor and a pleasure to consume. They were still great hours later when my family came home to enjoy the takeout from PB. I didn't fall in love with the peanut butter shake, which was a bit thin, and although the taste came through would have benefited from more ice cream to thicken and chill the drink. Not bad, just questionable at its price. Overall, I very much liked the gestalt of Pretty Burger and found it comparable in quality and enjoyment to places like Five Guys, Shake Shack and Smashburger. As I prefer supporting local businesses over chains and franchises when possible, Pretty Burger will get a fair share of my burger consumption going forward.

Yelp
Busy on a Saturday morning but the espresso was worth the wait! Pistachio vanilla hot latter was a dream, esp paired with a delicious cherry oatmeal cookie. Okay had to come back to write more - their biscuits/sandwiches are INCREDIBLE! Flakey, buttery, crusty biscuits, perfectly cooked egg, and a smash burger patty?! I live in Philly and definitely will make the drive for this brekkie again - if I was closer I'd make this my prime co-working coffee shop. Thanks, Pretty Bird!

Yelp
Delicious coffee (I got an iced blackberry amaretto latte with oat milk) and super speedy service. I was in and out within 5 minutes with two people ahead of me in line. Glad to have stumbled upon this local coffee shop across from Starbucks (my original destination)

Yelp
We were taking a trip up to NJ and I had planned out this stop based on our timing and a desire to stop for coffee on the way. Coffee didn't disappoint. I usually go for a mocha, but decided to give the ferrero rocher a go (I'll go with almond/hazelnut/etc. flavorings on occasion.) Really nice ice coffee. This was a little sweet, chocolate flavor was pronounced with the nuttiness on the finish. Definitely a rich drink with the whole milk. One, small disappointment was with all the pics of donuts on the page here, there were none to be found. I wasn't sure if they're no longer being served or if we just didn't get there early enough. Outside of the donuts, I'd make this stop when heading that way again.
google avatar

Marlene H.

Yelp
It was pretty crowded when we arrived at 11:30 on a weekday. I had the avocado toast with egg and bacon and a cold brew. The avocado toast was one of the best I've had. Thick bread, fried egg with plenty of bacon. The cold brew was pretty strong. It needed several sugars. My friend had a breakfast sandwich and cappuccino. She said both were delicious.nwould definitely return.
google avatar

Roxanne O.

Yelp
I came here again and maybe my standards are higher now but pretty bird isn't what I remembered it to be. My matcha latte was lukewarm, and even though asking for my order to be 'for here,' my food came in a paper bag with the receipt stapled to it and my latte in a cup without a saucer, even though there were a stack of saucers on the counter. It wasn't the experience I wanted to have after driving 40 minutes to come visit after telling my partner how I had liked it.
google avatar

Yan M.

Yelp
I've been crossing the bridge over to Yardley from NJ for several years now just for a good cup of coffee however I must warn you, it's better than good, it's great! With lots of great options as a pairing with their great coffee such as delicious muffins and breakfast sandwiches, if you're in the area be sure to stop by and check them out!
google avatar

Regina B.

Yelp
Great lattes and nice atmosphere. Always a slight wait but not too long I wish they served breakfast options longer because I always seem to miss it!
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
I *LOVE* this cafe for their great service and they have some delicious drinks. I love that it's well lit, opens early, and there are lots of seating options. I'd come here a lot more if they'd offer gluten-free options (they have pretty much nothing atm). Even if they just had gluten free bread for their sandwiches it would make a huge difference. That said, before I recognized the extent of my gluten allergy, I found their biscuits to be ridiculously delicious.
google avatar

Eric G.

Yelp
Amazing spot in downtown Yardley. Plenty of off street parking behind the building. Great coffee selections at reasonable prices. I had the lavender latte and my wife had the coconut latte - excellent, not too sweet. We shared an everything bagel scone - different, but unique and delicious. We'll be back.
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
A great neighborhood coffee shop! My go to place for a local cup of coffee and need to get some work done. I do wish they stayed open longer so I can continue working into the evening, but I do like how it transforms to a restaurant. And I have yet to try the food but it's on my list! The service has always been friendly and helpful. I'm a black coffee drinker so I usually either get the house coffee to refill when I'm working in house or the americano when I take out. I really enjoy how smooth the americano is! I've gotten the breakfast sandwich one time and it filled my stomach but not sure if I would get it again. Will definitely return to try others though. tldr; Drink 5/5 Food 4/5 Interior 4/5 Service 5/5

Angelica K.

Yelp
Front counter lady - a little too sassy Iced latte - a little too milky (large with 3 shots tasted very mild/milky) Coffee shop itself - very cute
google avatar

Mohammad A.

Yelp
Very cozy coffee shop. You can definitely come here to get some work done. Just be careful because the Wi-Fi settings are very restricted and won't allow the use of VPN. Also at least with AT&T the cellular service is horrible in the area. So hot spotting doesn't work well. The coffee is great. They know how to pull nice espresso shots. At some point they had donuts and then stopped selling them. Honestly those donuts was the reason I kept going back maybe 1 or 2 times a week. Now I go back maybe once a month since I have an espresso machine at home. Shop owners please bring back those donuts! Anyways if you're a local or in town definitely check out this hipster spot. Good vibes all around and unique menu items to try out! Not sure what to order? I recommend the classic Iced Caramel Latte w/ oat milk.

Yelp
Five stars for their coffee. Great selection with seasonal specials. Both regular Latte and ferrero rocher were delicious. A little pricey but always good to support local businesses. Nice decor and friendly staff. Taking one star off for their breakfast options. They were out of many items on a not so busy Sunday morning at 9am. No breakfast bowls and some tea selections. We were told that any sandwich would be a 20-25 minute wait as they were backed up.

Yelp
Pretty Bird was our Sunday morning ritual for a year while we lived in the area. Now that we're back in California I've yet to find a cafe in LA that makes Chai tea latte as well as Pretty Bird in the past 5 months. Fiance and I usually ordered a Biscuit Smash Burger or a Breakfast Sandwich each. Their biscuits are perfectly buttery and flakey and the sandwiches are honestly a steal for $6.50. Just be sure to get there early before their kitchen closes at 1pm. They turn into a fab Sushi Restaurant called Kawaii Tori for dinner. The inside is well decorated with plenty of seats. There is wifi and outlets but I wouldn't recommend hogging the seats for too long on the weekends. There are a few stool seats outside as well for warm summer days. We've loved spending our mornings there and enjoying our Sunday breakfast. Employees were always friendly and helpful. It was almost always the same employees every time we've visited. Being at Pretty Bird always felt like being part of a community. Pretty Bird is located on a very cute street. Across the street is Vault Brewery (which I believe is same owners?) that serves brews and great pizza. There is a parking lot in the back and plenty of street parking.

J B.

Yelp
We have been going here almost 5 years now. We always ordered the veggie breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. Wonderful and very delicious! Recently, they dropped the English muffin with their own biscuits. The biscuits are very dry and crumbles everywhere. Their lattes are excellent,

Yelp
Super cute coffee place we visited over the long weekend. Small inside, but still room for some seating and is a cute town to grab and go as well. I usually opt for old faithful, my chai tea latte. But I was intrigued by the special "Blueberry Cream latte". My barista recommended it over the chai so I went with it. It was a nice drink and a good change of pace from the usual. I also appreciate that it wasn't overly sweet, but had a good flavor and coffee was of good quality. It was $5.85 for a medium latte with almond milk so perhaps a bit higher than what would be expected for the area. If I lived local this would probably be a once a week indulgence. Or maybe twice.. :)
google avatar

Mister G.

Yelp
I heard good things about this place and I was in the area so I decided to stop in for a latte. Nice looking shop and the aromas were wonderful. I am a coffee nut, I roast my own coffee and grind and brew It On Demand. I was served my latte and a paper cup so I picked it up and walked to a table. As I stepped in my latte starting to taste the paper cup I look around the room and everybody is drinking out of the ceramic mug. At over $7 a cup you would think mine would have came in a ceramic mug and not a paper cup. Lot of points lost there. And I don't think I'll be back here again.

Yelp
It's great having a locally owned coffee place in Yardley. This place has quickly become a staple in the community. Great breakfast/brunch menu items, with fresh made sandwiches, plenty of coffee and tea options, and homemade doughnuts. The setting is very comfortable, and the staff is super friendly. They even have a reward program. Forget Wawa and Starbucks...get over to Pretty Bird.

Izzy G.

Yelp
Some of the best coffee I've ever had and service was insanely quick during a busy Sunday morning. I also got a breakfast sandwhich with gluten free bread and it was amazing too! Such a cute little place
google avatar

Ashley Y.

Yelp
The donut was okay.. we saw that it was almost sold out so we tried one. The breakfast sandwich on the other hand was amazing! The biscuit was so good. Normally, the biscuits I had was dry. This one was nice and toasty but soft/moist inside. Kinda sad that they sold out of the drinks we wanted. If I'm ever around this area again, I would definitely come back for the biscuits.
google avatar

Eugene A.

Yelp
Popular coffee house right in the downtown. Really flavorful espresso- based drinks with a nice accompanying food menu. Inside and porch seating available. Good flow of customers during our visit who, likely, recognize the quality coffees. Recommend a visit when in the area.

Sean C.

Yelp
This review is for Pretty Burger, which shares the same building/space as Pretty Coffee. I'm unsure if they have the same owner. I'm going to assume they do. Anyway, the two stars were for the pleasant and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the meal could have been much better. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries and a "chocolate" milkshake. The burger itself was decent but the fries were under-seasoned and very average. I used quotation marks for chocolate because the shake I was served was more vanilla with some chocolate syrup lightly mixed in. Very underwhelming.

Jacob M.

Yelp
Amazing, the coffee and the chocolate chip cookie was one of the best I had in a long time.

Jill E.

Yelp
Very good but inconsistent lattes. A lot of flavor choices. I always choose this over the Starbucks down the street.

Jackson L.

Yelp
Good coffee, good service, very nice ambiance/space inside & out. Biggest drawback was the terrible internet. I came her to do some work but Internet was VERY SLOW... unfortunate. Would be my go to cafe if that was fixed.

Madelyn H.

Yelp
This is the best coffee shop around. I go to TCNJ and I come here all the time to study. There is free wifi, a variety of seating, and there are a few outlets if you need one. My go to order is a iced lavender latte with oat milk and a bird breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage. It is so good and is so worth the drive.
google avatar

Craig S.

Yelp
I do not eat burgers very often, but was looking forward to Pretty Bird's latest dinner offering. I ordered a double with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, sautéed onion and mushrooms. This burger did not disappoint. It was honestly one of the best burgers I can recall as it wasn't overly greasy, was freshly prepared and was complimented by a soft, brioche bun. It reminded me of the burger from The Menu. The skin on fries were also very good and was enough to serve three of us. My next burger craving will have me coming back.

Michael W.

Yelp
Love to support the "mom & pop" places like this, but as a first time patron and new to the area, I was disappointed. I sat at bar thinking with a few girls working and no line, I would be offered a menu or pointed in the right direction since I did not see any signs for order line. No greeting b/c the girls were too busy on their cells. The sandwich I ordered was ok, biscuit was burnt a bit. The coffee/latte/tea options are quite spectacular, kudos. I do love the tables and bar, very neat style and not cheap. The girls working definitely knew the locals and were very friendly with them, but not a warm feeling for an outsider (but I do get it as this cafe is off the beaten path and locals are their main support base). Coffee was very strong. I want to support and try giving them a second chance, fingers crossed. Maybe owner(s) will see this as a chance to improve their service and overall friendliness to everyone.

John H.

Yelp
What a great little gem of a coffee shop! Why do Starbucks when you can shop "local". Outstanding pastries etc. def a gem.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
Super hipster local coffee shop in the middle of town. The coffee-based drinks were fabulous. They were thick and creamy and yummy. We had lattes and also the donuts. The donuts looked fabulous and they tasted great we just wish they were warm but other than that honestly a great coffee shop!!
google avatar

S A.

Yelp
Popular upscale place for locals in quaint Yardley. Great specialty coffees/lattes/cappuccino and delicious breakfast sandwiches. The best London Fog latte in the area. The service is always friendly and the ambience is hip and charming. Definitely better coffee and more seats than Starbucks.

J W.

Yelp
This place never has bagged coffee to purchase even though they claim they are a roaster. They are always out of stock and have been for months. Bagged decaf only on their website now. Just a very pricey breakfast place.
