We did the old town ghost tour and Chris was so knowledgeable as well as a fabulous story teller. It was about an hour long and walking was fairly minimal as we stopped often to hear the next part of the story. I would recommend Pretty Gritty Tours to anyone!! So much fun.

I had an incredible experience on the Pretty Gritty tour of Stadium High School in Tacoma, WA. Our guide, Ana, was outstanding, bringing the history and stunning architecture of the place to life. We had the unique opportunity to explore hidden gems like the attic and basement, areas not usually accessible to the public. Ana's storytelling and attention to detail made every moment captivating. This tour is a must-do for anyone looking for a unique and enriching day out. The combination of history, architecture, and Ana's expertise made it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend it!

Got to do the original tour for my birthday on Saturday. Chris was our guide, which I was super happy about, cause I have watched SO many of his YouTube videos, and even used it as a source in a paper I wrote. He was just as awesome as on his videos, very funny and genuine. The tour was fantastic, I am absolutely going to do all the other tours now. The story of the reoccurring murder had me hooked. It was super spooky to be guided through Tacoma by lamp light. Our group was fun and I even had other birthday buddies who celebrated with this spooky tour. So don't wait, go book, like right now. It's worth every penny.

Went on a Stadium High School tour with a group of friends for a GNO. Our tour guide was Ana and she was incredible! Every fact and figure I wanted to know and some I didn’t even realize I needed to know as a history dork and a fan of 10 Things I Hate About You were delivered flawlessly, she answered questions expertly, and it’s clear Pretty Gritty is the top notch way to tour Tacoma. Will definitely be booking another tour very soon!

Shea is the best tour guide that I have ever had! The tour of Stadium High School was incredible, and she was so funny and well versed. We showed up to see the school and just happened to run into this amazing tour group, and Shea was quick to help us get tickets and get into the tour!

I had the opportunity to take the Lantern Tour of Fort Steilacoom Park last night with Pretty Gritty Tours. The tour itself wasn’t necessarily what I expected, but turned out to be even better than I had imagined! The tour guide (Chris) is a gem. He is incredibly knowledgeable and makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease. The content of the tour is incredibly sad. Learning the names and stories of people who have had their rights, freedom, and life taken from them is a bone chilling experience. The tour really made me question how I treat others. I left the tour with a better appreciation for people who struggle with mental health issues. I will make a better effort to treat those around me with dignity and respect. The only thing I wish was different is that children were not allowed on the tour. Their were several kids running around, stomping on graves, and shining flashlights in people’s eyes.

Came through the area on a riverboat cruise and they contacted Pretty Gritty Tours to give us an on shore tour. All the people from Pretty Gritty Tours were knowledge and helpful. Highly recommend!

My sister and I went on the walking tour of Old Town. It did not disappoint. It was my second tour with Pretty Gritty. The tour of Old Town is like the downtown tour, but part II of the Andelana. If you know, you know. It was a perfect night for a history tour. Thank you Chris!
