Never disappoints!!! Always fresh and ready to go! 6/30/19 — UPDATE: I was craving an empanada so badly and went by around 3:45pm and they were closed .. why say you’re opened until 5pm? Definitely a big bummer!

Delicious and friendly! Counter service with a couple of stools, so it's not a sit-down experience. But we were happy to trek there for the ONLY vegan empanadas we could find in all of Boston! Good, fresh food. They've got a wide array of meat, seafood, and vegetable choices and have specials each day as well. If they don't have your favorite ready, they make it for you right away. We were also blown away by the variety of fresh juice options as well.

Ordered online, money got taken from my account. When I arrived they didn’t have anything I ordered available, asked for a refund the guy there did not bother to give a refund kept telling me to cancel the order online because they never accepted it, but there was no way of cancelling it, the man saw this and still said he can’t refund me my 40+ dollars and the tip I left. Would not recommend ordering online since they like to steal your money.

Twice now I've gotten incorrect/missing orders. Last time I ordered online in hopes of a different outcome. They literally just throw whatever they want in the bag. & the ones I get are lacking in taste. This used to be the spot but it has gone very down hill. It was nice while it lasted

Very very RUDE woman working at the counter. Have been coming here for years and never had an issue until today. She had an attitude with another customer as I was walking in and proceeded to get loud, roll her eyes, and ask her why was the customer was still in the store all because she wanted more sauce for an overly cheesy empanada. I was so disgusted that I left. God forbid I wanted extra sauce. I would have gotten the same treatment. Very distasteful. That women needs to be fired.

I love going here for lunch while working down here in the area. Great option for something hot, tasty, and not pricy. I appreciate that the workers are bilingual too. Thank you!

Ok so, I think this place needs more love. The negative reviews (currently) are pretty harsh in my opinion. I spent my teens and early twenties in south Florida, and you know what people in their teens and twenties eat? That's right, empanadas lol. They're cheap, hot, quick and good. Cuban empanadas are amazing, with a strong yet flaky dough with bubbles (not like a pastelito), that holds together the juices of the filling. THESE empanadas are similar with a big difference. The dough is the same amazing result and the best I've had outside south Florida. The difference is the filling. Which is not wet from vegetables and seasoning. I wouldn't say it's unseasoned at all, the beef (res) empanada I had was really tasty, with filling more akin to a nice couple of tacos than some juicier empanadas. This has a great bonus of being REALLY EASY TO EAT ON THE GO. Also, not having a juicy filling means the item stays together better. They have salsas for the empanada so you can sauce it up as you like ;) it's a pink sauce that tastes a bit like vinegar. The huevos jamón y queso (ham egg and cheese) also went over well, very cheesy eggs! Also, the owner (she seemed like the owner operator, working the big shallow frying pot in the back) was very nice and is bilingual if your Spanish is not so great like mine . Good service

They're always trying to feed me beef or chicken I just want vegetales y queso with the pink sauce

Went with my daughter to try this place out, we weren't impressed by Jose's less than friendly demeanor and the labels explaining what the flavors of the empanadas weren't spelled correctly. Definitely overpriced and didn't taste good, won't be going back!

Tasty and a variation! Price is right! Highly recommend this place! Will definitely come back favorite by far was chicken and cheese!

Amazing value. Spicy beef is the best, but chicken is outstanding. bacon egg and cheese are great, so are salami and cheese. Overall amazing value and delicious empanadas

Soooooo good, the empanadas are huge! And filled with so much flavor! Affordable prices and quick since they are made ahead of time. But still remain crispy Very friendly

Settled a craving but very plain. Meat has no seasoning no onions no peppers nothing. I was excited to try a place that mostly does empanadas but it was the worst I've ever had

Love the empanadas, the cheese and chicken is my favorite. The only downside is that the chicken by itself can be a little dry, so the cheese adds moisture and makes it perfect. The cheese empanada is really good too as well as the breakfast one
