I really enjoyed lunch today. The restaurant wasn't really busy and the service was good. I had already eaten in the other two locations that were down here. The location that was in the city of Sunrise has been closed for quite some time. I do miss it. It was fairly close to home, and the service and the food were always good. I've also eaten at the one located on A1A by the beach. Loved the view and loved the food and service, but I did not like that it was cash only and parking was difficult. Now, this one, there was plenty of parking, I didn't feel crowded since the restaurant was a nice size, the menu had more to offer, and I didn't need to worry about having enough cash on me since they took credit cards.
To eat, we started with an order of fried zucchini. It was different from how I've had at other restaurants. It was big long slices instead of French fries or chips. It wasn't overly fried, and it tasted yummy. We opted not to have pizza this time. Instead, my daughter had a chicken parmesan sub, and all she kept saying was, "it has a lot of chicken and cheese." Now my wife, she had an eggplant parmesan sub. She seemed to like it but did say it would have been better as a dinner instead of a sandwich.
Me, I had the "ragin'- cajun chicken breast" sandwich with mozzarella cheese. It came with fries and a pickle, and I got a side of cheese sauce and extra onions. It was good, but I think I want pizza the next time we eat there. "It looked really good at the next table."
