I really think that this is going to be my new favorite place in Astoria. What a gem. This is Flushing level quality Asian food, with Flushing-level prices, in Astoria. The meats are incredible, the service is super friendly. The place is upscale, without being pretentious. The banchan is delicious and fresh. They're generous with portions. It feels like they take your experience and enjoyment seriously, in the best ways possible. This is one of the places where you eat there and you know you'll come back because the food and service was THAT good. Thanks to David and Eric and the rest of the crew. This was such an awesome meal.

It was truly an amazing experience! We ordered the all-you-can-eat deal, and it was definitely money’s worth. Every food item from side dishes to main dishes were really good, and would definitely come back! Shoutout to David! He was a great server and made us feel welcomed! Great customer service skills:))

Amazing ambiance and atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and helpful when ordering. It was our first time and our server walked us through the whole process. All the meats are of great quality, though I feel the sushi aren't as worth it. Will definitely be going again soon.

I had a blast coming here. Let’s get some things out of the way: Lunch special ($25 for Korean bbq only, $5 extra for sushi all you can eat) from 10 AM - 3 PM, Dinner $54.99 - $60 for KBBQ or KBBQ + All you can eat sushi with even more options available. For lunch it is the items marked black you can only choose from which does limit you options severely unfortunately but what makes up for variety is the service and quality of the food you are getting to begin with. My waiter/Server Ayman was a very nice, friendly and easy to talk to guy who was very accommodating and fast with the service. I even gave him a $30 tip just to show what a nice time I had there while he was serving our food. Every table comes with a custom built hot pot grill which you can make the food yourself or have one of the staff do it all for free of course. They have a bar which you can choose mostly virgin drinks from because this is a halal restaurant with the option of unlimited soda drinks for only $4.99. The water is ice cooled and served in clear glasses, the utensils are gold plated and engraved with the prime no. 7 logo on it served in red silk cloths used to clean yourself, they have a lounge area where you can chill and wait to use the bathroom which is also lavender scented I mean this place was unbelievable. Especially the aesthetic of it all I mean the custom Japanese/Korean wood paneling and art to showcase the rich history as such. This place is not super busy in the afternoon but nightlife can get pretty hectic. I also enjoyed how clean they kept the tables before after and while we were eating I mean talk about a group effort. Ayman even told us that this is one of those places that actually split the tips and checks fairly amongst the staff and how they give exclusive vip access to the service as such. Honestly I loved this place and it would’ve great for group gatherings, birthday parties, proms, graduation ceremonies you name it!

Prime No.7 had me living my Korean dream right here in NYC! From the moment we walked in, everything was a vibe. The atmosphere was incredible—stylish, lively, and just the right amount of cozy. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and beautifully done. The greeter was so warm, kind, and welcoming, which instantly made us feel comfortable, and our server was just as great—attentive and friendly throughout the whole experience. One of the biggest highlights for us was that everything is halal, which honestly made the experience even better and stress-free. And the drinks… oh my goodness—completely out of this world. So well crafted and memorable. An all-around amazing experience. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back again!

Came for dinner and it was amazing everyone was soooo sweet the food was amazing .. service was great from beginning to end.. everything was explained to us we had three rounds of bbq and it was perfect every time. This place was awesome. We made a reservation a few days prior. The service was great. Our server David took our order promptly and cooked all of our food. He explained all the sauces and sides. He gave us recommendations for what food paired best with which sauce. The food was amazing.

The food and service was amazing. Not much of a wait. This was my first halal AYCE BBQ and I’m totally coming back here again. Very much a vibe and they cook the meats in front of you. Shout out to our server Mario!! 👌👌

I've been anticipating this place to open for a while now. They've been teasing us on social media for over a year! Lol. Used to have to trek to Jersey for halal KBBQ, but now can save on tolls and just take a short MTA bus trip to Steinway. It's a brand new space and it has a fine dining ambience. I like the way they decorated the place. Perfect spot to celebrate occasions with friends and family. The KBBQ was all fantastic and I appreciate the waiters coming around and helping you cook and check on the meat every now and then. While I do keep my eyes on the stove and stir from time to time, it's nice to just enjoy focus on eating. Lol. They have a lot of meat options to choose from including lamb, which looked new to me (can't remember if the previous location had lamb too). They also have an extensive mocktail menu and I went for the lychee ginger drink. It was a bit too gingery for me, so maybe I'll try something else next time. Highly recommend getting reservations as this place does get crowded on weekends. The all-you-can-eat barbecue was $50 a person (I think it was a bit more expensive than the New Jersey location, but I understand this is a new place and they probably have expensive overhead to deal with). I like the crêpe cakes they gave at the end for dessert. Btw, gratuity is already included in your check and there is an option to tip more if you like. I'm so glad we have halal KBBQ in Queens now!

Been eyeing Prime No. 7 for awhile, when they were located only in NJ, since it is a halal Korean BBQ restaurant (my SO only eats halal). Naturally when I found out that they opened a location in Astoria, I had to go. The restaurant is pretty big. Dinner menu is $50 while the lunch menu is $30 per person for 90 minutes of all you can eat. The lunch menu is very limited (chicken, vegetables, two types of beef and a small amount of appetizers). You can ask to cook for yourself. The banchan wasn't great. The ventilation didn't work well. We went for lunch. Skip the chicken, it's a bit ordinary and too filling. The beef brisket is better than the bulgogi. I enjoyed the corn with cheese and the spring rolls. Tip was already calculated in the bill. The restaurant gives Muslims the korean bbq experience, but not competitive to other Korean bbq restaurants if you are not restricted by a halal diet.

A friend had a bridesmaid dinner here so I came back a week later lol and I had a much better time. Could that be because I was with friends or because I had the entire menu now at my disposal, who's to say? We had a huge group of people (over a dozen) and the largest table seated 8 people so our party while next to each other did have a degree of separation. This time I had the opportunity to try the full appetizer and BBQ Menu and a mocktail as well. Our server was absolutely PHENOMENAL--as were the rest of the staff who helped out on occasion with our table. I can only imagine the stress of eight people asking questions and making requests while having to cook our BBQ simultaneously. He kept his cool, professionalism and was super friendly and explained everything to us every step of the way. I really enjoyed the fish katsu and boneless chicken appetizer particularly and the kimchi and vegetable rice was wonderful. The top steak and hanger steaks were my favorite of the meats (I forgot what degree of seasoning we selected but marinated or spicy is the way to go for some flavor). Everything comes with sauce so the ones that are unseasoned can be sauced up to your liking. I had the peach please mocktail because I was inspired by everyone else getting drinks but it wasn't anything to call home about. The peach flavor was absolutely present and was nice and sweet and there was a hint of green tea taste at the end. It came topped with a gummy Candy, mint and glitter. The only reason it's not a five star is because lord have mercy is it costly. But worth it for a special occasion. Also a random side, Prime is Muslim owned so I did request a space to pray and I was offered a spot behind the DJ which was incredibly tight. I'll pray anywhere so it was fine but just a humble request to please find a better place to accommodate Muslims who need to pray (solely because the establishment is Muslim owned and it would be great to help the homies out).

Service is excellent and the servers were attentive! Food was fresh and good. We received complimentary drinks and a birthday cake slice for the birthday girl, which was so sweet of the owner. The ambiance was clean and modern. Loved my experience here!!

After hearing this was halal Korean BBQ, I have to give it a try. We went for their lunch AYCE for 29.99. The place looked nice. Clean and upscale. The young hostess was very nice. We were seated quickly and the booths are very spacious. There was a lot of variety of meats on the menu so that was a plus. The appetizers were good. The meats were great. The only problem is the service. The waitress came and took our order and after giving us our sodas, we never seen her again. The restaurant was practically empty so we don't know where she disappeared to. We had to flag down other waiters and servers to order more food, get more sauces, change the grill and to return our flat no fizz sodas. It was just syrup and water. Luckily the young waiter was running around and we were able to flag him down and help us. Thank god the tip was already included because I wouldn't have tip as much. Definitely not coming back.

I was looking for a new halal spot to go to for my birthday with my parents and came across Prime No 7. I can't say enough great things! It was easy to make reservations on Resy. We arrived a half hour early and we're seated right away. We ended up getting the All You Can Eat barbeque + sushi for $55 per person (AYCE barbeque is $50pp). All the barbecue items were on point and the quality wasn't any less than if we went to a non-halal place in k-town. The portions are a decent size as well. The service was excellent! They had waiters constantly checking on all the tables. Our favorite items were the spicy beef bulgogi, marinated top blade, and tropical heat roll. This was the first restaurant my dad and I enjoyed the experience as much as the food and we are enough for 3 people each. Excited for the next occasion in our family to go back!

Came for a birthday dinner. Food is delicious, quality of the meat was excellent and the service is great. Chris and Troy were friendly and engaging.

We were excited to try Prime No. 7 when we heard about a halal Korean BBQ spot. Came for lunch which is $30 all-you-can-eat per person, with optional sushi add-ons (we skipped those). The place wasn't crowded, so we were seated quickly, and our server was attentive and helpful with recommendations. We ordered assorted beef and appetizers, which came in smaller one-person portions. I loved this because it's a smart way to reduce waste. The meats were well-marinated, thinly sliced, and full of flavor. Compared to other KBBQ spots, a few things stood out like the grills weren't greased well so the meat stuck, ventilation wasn't the best so it got smoky, and some classic side dishes like seasoned cucumbers and carrots were missing. Still, nothing was a deal breaker, and I'd happily return with family.

Finally a halal KBBQ spot in NYC. I've only tried the AYCE BBQ and the food was very good! Loved the spicy chicken and the brisket. Our server Chris was very friendly and gave recommendations (such as the top blade) that made the experience better. I mean it's AYCE so def try everything on the menu!

Outstanding modern Korean BBQ with an all you can eat menu. Juicy Halal meats are cooked at your table and the mocktails are great! Delicious rolls and sushi too all served in a sleek, sexy environment. Great for group dining!

Great experience! We ordered the Premium menu for $80/person. The Aged Cap Steak and Center Cut were delicious. Very attentive staff who refilled everything with promptness. Love that they grill the meat for you and explain as necessary how to pair the food together with their sauces. Wide variety of sauces in Truffle Butter, KBBQ sauces. Ambience was classy and not overly rambunctious or loud. Love the clean aesthetic. Will definitely revisit when I'm in the area!

Worst sushi I've ever had. Poor quality for the price . There's a time limit and they basically told us to leave so someone else could have our table after being there 2 hours

Josh was our server. He was amazing and made sure we always had what we needed. Also has a great personality. All the food was good. The Teriyaki chicken and hanging steak was by far the most delicious. 5 stars.
