The New Atlanta Restaurant Openings You Should Know About

"Replacing the old Club Reign, Prime on Peachtree is set to be a see-and-be-seen fine dining spot in Midtown. With their open-late cigar bar (Prime Cigar) next door and $100-ish price tags on steaks and lobster, it appears Prime is more primed for the country club lane than the night club one." - nina reeder, juli horsford

On the Grid : Empire State South

"Just beyond the corner of 10th and Peachtree Streets lives a little gem called Empire State South, and it’s a staple for all of us at Son&Sons. We love to dine with them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (sometimes all three). With seasonally rotating fare that delights all five tastes, exquisite presentation and a knowledgeable and congenial staff, we can’t stop coming back for more. They also offer an extensive coffee bar with a counter full of pastry treats, and a bocce ball court just outside. Kick off the day with a fried chicken biscuit, give yourself a midday boost with their Super Salad, or treat yourself to their pork belly dinner entrée – but don’t forget to start with their “In Jars” snacks – hello, pimento cheese with bacon marmalade." - Son&Sons

Prime On Peachtree - Review - Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"There are big shoes to fill when you take over a space that had been the decades-long epicenter of Midtown nightlife. So if you’ve ever had the pleasure of stumbling out of Vision, Reign, or Club Vanquish after a night of dancing, hold on to those dear memories. Because financial regret may be the only feeling you’ll be able to muster with its current tenant, a visually stunning steakhouse that offers over-priced food and a snoozy scene. Prime on Peachtree is impressive at first glance. Tinted glass doors open to reveal a high ceiling, dark interior, stylish mood lighting, and a moment of deja vu that hits you like a cloud of smoke. Literally. With Prime Cigar just next door, cigar and hookah odors seep over into the connecting entrance and bar passage. But walk further back, the smell goes away, and you’ll find Prime has transformed into a mellow dining room—deep into its soft life era just like some former Club Vanquish patrons no doubt. This could very well be the living room of an art school nepo baby. A central tree with color-changing lights makes a pretty backdrop for those people who measure the night’s success by photo evidence. But get your photo, get your drink (the Peach Smoked Old Fashioned isn’t bad), and leave. Otherwise you’re spending ludicrous prices in a near-dead atmosphere for a meal that tastes like Costco samples. A single, just-OK crab cake appetizer is $40. The steaks are decent, but once you factor in the forgettable $22 sides, you’ll wish you could travel back in time for a different spot on our steak guide.” Though the space is attractive, there’s nothing else at Prime that makes you feel like it's worth the splurge. It’s true that the money you spent on bottle service in Vision's VIP lounge in the early 2000s wasn’t worth it either, but at least it came with sparklers and the opportunity to flex for the crowds. Unless you’re Bruce Wayne and into quiet acts of philanthropy, we can easily point you to more fulfilling special occasion-priced dinners. Food Rundown Filet Mignon It’s the cheapest steak here at $98, and it’s fine. But it’s served by itself on a plate with only a dull knife to slice it. Butter Poached Lobster Somehow, at $94, this is one of the best value dishes on the entire menu because it’s loaded with so much stuff: a big lobster tail with the claw meat, tom yum polenta, an oddly large cornbread cake, and unsalted popcorn. But the lobster just feels lost in a medley of corn products. The popcorn spilled on the floor of an AMC theater is better seasoned. And the too-thick cornbread sits in the center of it all, questioning its existence. Duck Chowder This is the best thing on the menu. Like a good chicken pot pie, the soup is creamy and comforting but the duck gives it a heartiness without tasting too gamey. The jalapeño biscotti is a bit tough, but when soaked in the chowder all is forgiven. Crab Cake The crab cake has diced bell peppers and too much bread filling. It’s also $38 for a single, hockey puck-sized cake. Lamb Meatball This is good, but it’s too big and tastes more like a meatloaf with brown gravy. Chopped Salad It’s too heavy on the frisse, and too light on the vinaigrette. The salad kits at the grocery store are $15 cheaper and more exciting." - Nina Reeder

I recently dined at Prime on Peachtree and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely great! I ordered the chicken Alfredo, chicken eggrolls, and a delicious Spinach and artichoke dip. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. To top it off, I had the pleasure of meeting the head chef and manager, Shaun, who was very welcoming. Teddy, the bartender, provided excellent service and made sure my date and I were well taken care. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also worth mentioning—it’s a perfect blend of cozy and vibrant. I would definitely return for both the wonderful food and the inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with the service at Prime on Peachtree. Jet, the bartender, took excellent care of me—he made outstanding cocktails and gave spot-on recommendations. Truly top-tier service all around. However, I was disappointed that the food came out cold. My fish, broccoli, and macaroni were all either cold or lukewarm. While I didn’t complain at the time (because the flavor was actually really good), I did end up taking it home to reheat for later. Surprisingly, the dessert came out piping hot—pretty much the opposite of the rest of the meal. There were only a few other tables in the restaurant at the time, so I expected the food to come out fresh and hot. That’s why I rated the food three stars. But again, the service was a solid five. Jet made the visit worth it.

Best restaurant in Atlanta. Premium food, premium drinks, and a sexy atmosphere. They usually have live music, which just sets the tone right. On the weekends, I’ll walk next door to Prime Cigar Bar to chill. A couple of times I’ve gone, I’ve actually run into Bow Wow—one of the owners and a legendary Atlanta rapper. This whole spot is a vibe.

It was my daughter’s birthday celebration and the atmosphere, the dj, the music, the overall was amazing! Downfall even though my waiter was good they gave him way too many tables with multiples and to me and the table he couldn’t give us his best service. It was hot in there the air went out due to some other things and it made it quite humid!!!! Just wasn’t conducive to a great environment. The food was amazing!!! The drinks were made well and gave everything!!! Wish mgmt would’ve gave 10-15 % discount for the humidity and no air or at least had some fans blowing

Great experience. Food was good and our bartender Jut was awesome. He checked on us often and made sure the drinks were to our liking. Would come back.

We came to this establishment elated to celebrate a love one for their doctoral graduation brunch and left feeling disrespected and disappointed. We were the first in our group to show up to a practically empty restaurant and informed that we needed to wait for the rest of the party. We saw that it was happy hour from 12pm - 9pm and asked if we could partake. After walking to the bar, we sat down and asked the bartender, Kim, what were her favorite drinks to make? Response: Anything. What's the most popular drink? Response: The most expensive ones. What do you think we should order? Response: The most expensive drinks. The experience continued to go down hill. We were never greeted and there were no compliments to the graduate. We sat down as a table of 40 and they were upset. They complained that a the party was too big, yet the reservation was booked. Kim was also the only server. She made it known she was very perturbed. When beginning to take the orders, she stated, "I'll start with the old people first." We knew the food would take a while based on the size of the group, however, the graduate and several guests never received their meals. When the bill came, we were charge 20% which is expected but they have a 20% surcharge on all bills - even for a party 1. There is a 3% restaurant fee and a 3% credit card fee. They stated the bill could only be split by 5 cards; however, they did split the bill based on parties. Frustrated by the managers confirmation, Kim threw the check on the floor as she stormed away. Upon returning, she stated because "[she] spent so much time splitting the bill, yall need to walk over here to pay." Then in line, if you were paying cash, she made you get to the back because she didn't want to walk to the bar. There were several staff members standing around the restaurant but only Kim could handle every part of the operations. We had anticipation of spending a lot more money enjoying drinks and celebrating, but Kim and the staff deterred our plans and we continued celebrating elsewhere. If you're coming here, it's great for photos but the customer service is piss poor. This is a pseudo fine dining establishment. If you want to support a black-owned business for great food, vibes, and excellent service, go to The Beverly.

Essence was great awesome service and food. Ty made some great suggestions. I had the most amazing dining experience at Prime on Peachtree! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, I definitely appreciated the server assistant making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The food was out of this world. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The stuffed chicken and kale were hands down the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The portions were generous. The ambiance was also perfect for a night out – cozy yet chic, with great lighting and music that set the mood just right. The drink menu had some fantastic options too, with creative cocktails that paired wonderfully with the meal. I ordered the Fly Me To The Moon and it was to die for. I can’t wait to return! This place is a hidden gem and definitely deserves all the praise. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!

My son took me to Prime on Peachtree for Mother’s Day without a reservation and even though the restaurant was half empty, I was told that we couldn’t be seated at a table and that brunch was over at 4pm and dinner didn't start until 5pm, so I asked about the bar, and I was told that I could sit at the bar. Which was honestly the best choice because I met a beautiful person and spirit who was also a mother behind the bar named KIM. She made sure I enjoyed my Mother’s Day and turned my entire experience around. I will definitely be back to see Kim…….BTW-All of the stars are of the STAR of Prime on Peachtree-KIM⭐️

Yelp
Service was great. The waiter knew the menu very well and was able to give great drink recommendations. Waiter was also very accommodating for our guest who did arrive late and wanted to order a first course. The Blue Lychee was 10/10 so was The Reset. My friends enjoyed their meals and I enjoyed my steak and mash potatoes. The DJ wasn't the best to my friends and I. Great playlist but his transitions were terrible lol. At one point there was dead silence in the restaurant.

Yelp
I was there yesterday celebrating both me and my husband's birthday. We were seated pretty quickly (reservations made in advance) the waiter was the bartender, sorry I didn't get her name but she was super friendly, pleasant and honest with all of our questions. Ambiance, music and the pianists was a 10. But the food...I'm never going back. Ceasar salad was mediocre - it lacked dressing and parm cheese, we had to send the waiter back for some. The oysters were good. The meals were a thumbs down all the way thru. Hubby's lamb chop were overcooked and burnt and my surf and turf was not good. I ate the lobster however the filet mignon had a thick layer on the outside that was not edible and chewy. So that was a complete waste and the filet mignon was super small. The mashed which was my side was room temperature and lacked flavor, tasted like they used water - no milk or butter. I throughly enjoyed my dessert - the Biscoff cheesecake. But receiving the tab and leaving hungry was super disappointing. So as for me, I will not be returning to this establishment, I was rooting for ya'll but you guys missed the mark.

Yelp
So we drove 6 hours to town for a concert and checked in across the street. Saw this place from the street and we had some time to kill, so we walked across the street. One sort was partially open and signs demonstrating they are "open". Walked in and numerous people were puffing on their cigars in the lounge, but we were immediately met with a 'security' person who, without having the courtesy to look up from his phone, said "we are closed". My wife, without stopping her momentum, had already walked in the door, stopped and looked around, which was then the moment the 'security' person decided to look up annoyingly at us. No additional explanation given. No apologies. No courtesy. I have traveled all over the world and this was the worst experience ever experienced from a Cigar lounge by keeps and bounds. Based on our limited experience with this business, I'm certain the other negative reviews are spot on and the positive reviews are outliers.

Mia W.

Yelp
First: they advertise valet parking that doesn't exist. $40 to park your own car around the corner and then walk back to the restaurant. They don't even bring your car to you when you're ready to leave. Maybe they misunderstood the definition of valet. It was raining the day I went, so that was an extra special treat. The restaurant itself is cute and the food was fine, but it feels like the place is having an identity crisis. It wants to be an upscale restaurant, but it also wants to be a lounge/club. I know that Atlanta loves its DJs and hookahs, but not every restaurant needs that. Our waitress was amazing, but the bar and food service was beyond slow. Our orders came out in groups with big delays. So while the person beside me was enjoying her second drink, I was still waiting for my first. Fun time, but I would never suggest this spot or go back with a small/intimate group. It's for parties.

Yelp
Of course I came here for brunch... Great food options, but it's a little overpriced for every Sunday brunch. If you want a nice vibe or want to celebrate something with friends and/or family then it's a lovely option. Parking is limited to the street and I had to park a few blocks away. Music was playing in the background. The service was great and food came out quick. Everything had great flavor. They have an upstairs room with private dining and bar for private events that looks nice.

Yelp
The lamb chops were so worth it, the prime sauce is an added plus. The ambiance is very nice, a good date spot. We also went to the cigar area, not overly smokey so I was able to handle it. The service is also good, an overall great experience for my friend's birthday!!! You are in the city, so just be ready to pay for parking and all the extra fees ‍

Yelp
First, let me say that the food is delicious!!! From the time we walked in and we're seated, the service was nothing but first class. The DJ kept the music flowing and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The chef even came to the table to see how we enjoyed our dining experience. Menu items are a bit pricey. But, you won't regret a dime because this restaurant hits it out of the park in every aspect. Make your reservation and try it soon!

Yelp
Stopped here while happy hour hopping. Although we arrived after happy hour ended, we tried a few dishes that were still really good. We tried the yellowtail and the apple pie fritters. I'm not a huge dessert person bug the fritters were delicious. I would definitely go back for dinner and try more items.

Yelp
This was, without a doubt, one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've encountered in quite some time. From the moment I walked in, I was puzzled--was this a steakhouse or a fine dining restaurant? Whatever it was aiming for, the experience fell woefully short of anything resembling fine dining. Admittedly, dining with a large party can sometimes present challenges, and I'm usually willing to be patient in those situations. However, from the start, things went downhill. I ordered a drink, which was so poorly made that I had to send it back. Opting instead for a margarita flight, I was told--astonishingly--that they couldn't serve it because my fellow diners had used up all the cups. In a restaurant that appeared capable of seating a minimum of 100 people, I was dumbfounded to learn they only had 20 cups for drinks that are a mainstay on their menu. Even worse, they began collecting cups from other guests at my table to prepare my order. I was horrified! At that point, I nearly walked out, but having already ordered my food, I reluctantly stayed and canceled the flight, settling for a basic drink. The ordeal didn't end there. I sat for over an hour without food, as reflected in my first photo: an empty table. When my burger finally arrived, I asked for ketchup and steak sauce. What followed was a 20-minute wait for condiments, by which point my burger was predictably cold and entirely unenjoyable. The bite of the burger that I did have was decent and had I been able to eat it while it was still warm I'd give it a star for flavor, but after such a long wait, it was far from satisfying. When I think of fine dining, I expect not only great food but exceptional service. For the prices they charge, I anticipated a level of professionalism that simply wasn't there. Yes, the décor is attractive, but it seems that's what you're paying for here--the ambiance, not the quality of food or service. We also were in there for roughly 3 hours which didn't make the experience any better. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. It was an experience I'm glad to have crossed off my list, but unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons.

Yelp
Food wasn't worth the price, looks good , but has no flavor. Service needs improving. No one introduced themselves. Had to asked for condiments, simple things like syrup for waffles. Spoon for shrimp and grits and oh yeah napkins please. The Ambiance was beautiful except the floors were slippery so I had to watch my every step. All around just a horrible experience and it's My Birthday today.

Yelp
3/10 Experience for me. Bill total was $271. Wife loves steak ordered the tomahawk for $94. Steak was burnt and just not what she expected. I ordered the prime pasta. The mussels, lobster and shrimp were all cooked to perfection but the pasta was dry and could have used more Alfredo sauce. This place has a lot of potential. I did enjoy the music selection and vibes. Staff were friendly. I love good food and don't mind paying for it but this was not worth the money.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to visit for brunch. Brunch was delicious! Highly recommend the prime hot honey chicken. It was phenomenal! I also absolutely loved the sweet Carmel bliss donuts. The drinks were amazing as well. The only thing I did not prefer was the steak and eggs. Service was incredible and the decor is so nice! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in the area. I look forward to returning here soon!

Yelp
An aesthetically pleasing space, as a self-proclaimed foodie, Prime is a decent steakhouse, however, if you prefer a fine dining experience on par with a spot like New York Prime, this spot may leave you underwhelmed. Let's start with the good: the Micro Meatballs had a great visual presentation and disappeared quickly from the plate--they are gooooood! Cut into chops, well-seasoned and tender, the rack of lamb did not disappoint. While I'd never think to pair cabbage with lamb, IT WORKS!! On the flip side: like many Atlanta restaurants, salt made an unwelcome appearance. The lobster bisque was incredibly salty (I couldn't get beyond a couple spoonfuls, unfortunately). Out for date night, we listened to our sweet tooth and ordered the vanilla pound cake to share. It was VERY sweet and fared well the next morning with coffee. As a dessert it may benefit from vanilla bean ice cream and less sauce because it was too rich to finish in one sitting. Recognizing this spot is relatively new, I'd consider trying it again perhaps some months from now.

Yelp
Wow. Is all I can say! So glad we found this place ! Sooo came here after a massage accidentally went into the cigar part but it's right next door. We were promptly greeted and seated ! What nice decor with the warm lighting and flower wall decor and hit old school r n b and oldies I love it. So our server Auriel ( forgive my spelling) was on point. ALL his suggestions were spot on. Starting with the drinks. I got the fly me to the moon it was sweet strong and the presentation was great with the spaceman! The passion fruit drink was sweet and smooth. The oysters Rockefeller was so yummy !!! It was creamy and cheesy and flavorful ! Only critique i would say the crackers were warm but they were soft I would prefer a little more crispy but they were not stale. Entrees my bucatini promodore was amazing I love the sauce and the scallops and shrimp were great cooked perfectly . The prime Alfredo was great with bits of lobster , shrimp and mussels it was good too with a creamy sauce, the biscotti cheesecake you can def tell it was homemade ! Creamy and smooth. The apple cinnamon empanadas were good wished taste great with ice cream. Also bathrooms were clean well stocked with toilet paper and paper towels and soap, Overall great experience can not wait to return !

Yelp
What a mediocre lounge. Good food, clean, airy, but the service sucked! I've had friendlier bowel movements. Two bartenders barely spoke or regarded my presence. Had to ask for a light, acted as if I were putting her out when I asked for a drink. I ordered a cocktail before dinner and a non-alcoholic drink for my meal. She put the glass of water down so hard I thought the glass might shatter on the counter. Look, I'm from out of town. I don't need anyone to kiss my butt, however give me enough to make me want to come back. Even though POP is the closest lounge to my Midtown hotel, I will head somewhere else tonight. Unless you're a local, because they got all the service last night, do a pass on this one.

Yelp
First impressions are lasting and can be an indication of what to expect. Such was my experience at Prime Cigar. I walked into the two hostess (a stretch given that they didn't provide hospitality). They looked at me as to ask, "Why did I decide to come in?" They were eating pizza. Yes, at the reception area, and no pizza is not sold here. They asked me to pick a spot. The place was empty of customers so it was an easy decision. I decided on the bar. The lady working also seem less than enthusiastic that I decided to come into their establishment. The food was okay. I would not recommend it. I was charged $3 for hot sauce. Where they chsrge for condiments to make the foid kess bland. The best part of my visit was the cigar I brought in. I waited at least 10 minutes for dirty dishes to be cleared and for more water. While I wait some brings a round of ice coffee for the staff. Ice coffee?!?!? Another item not on the menu. When I sat down, a male staffer enjoyed his Mexican lunch at one of the tables in the lounge. No, not the staff lounge. 45 minutes ago into their experience gone wrong, a couple of female staffer enjoyed something they got from a bakery at the same table. They have a bouncer on staff. Guess he is around to keep his colleagues in line. The staff is just in their corner, chatting it up with no car to the world. The women are dressed in form fill fitting jumpsuits. Feels like an Era from another century. Men staffer dress moremodestlyt with a polo shirt and black jeans. I am challenged to understand the stark difference. The place looks warm, but the service is chilly, very chilly. If you want a place to come and be left alone with little to no customer service, this is your place. If you expect the bare minimum, look elsewhere. I'm assuming the poor customer service is related to automatic 20% gratuity. Shameful!

Yelp
The keyboardist was the best part of this restaurant. The server was ok. The food was blah! The lobster tails were salty and overcooked, the broccolini was cold and undercooked. The chicken patay was salty and tasted like mush. We ordered drinks with Belvedere, I'm pretty sure it was not Belvedere. I would only go back for the music and possibly have a salad.

Yelp
My husband & I were celebrating our anniversary. We thought of going to STK or Or other upscale restaurants in the area. We chose Prime on Peachtree because it looked fairly new and looked great from the outside. It was not upscale at all. Food was mediocre, took forever to get a cocktail, Seems like no bartender. My side dish was under cooked. They brought my husbands dinner out, and was told mine would be shortly. Huh? A lot of staff standing around. Also, they automatically add 20% tip to bill. We felt very uncomfortable & Will not be going back. I can't imagine this restaurant staying in business. It is not worth it. So disappointed.

Yelp
The location was in the heart of Atlanta. Very nice spot. Nice vibe. DJ was dope! He played a mix but a lot of ol school R&B. I went for brunch. The host and servers were very knowledgeable about the menu, professional and friendly. I can't say enough about the food. I wanted everything and I almost ordered it too. I couldn't decide what to get so I ordered two whole meals...lol By the looks of it and the ambiance, I assume that it is the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night. I'll stick to brunch though. I will be back.

Yelp
Food is alright. Had the salmon croquettes. They were deep friend instead of pan fried...I was so with a large party so the service took some time but overall they were helpful. Ambiance was nice. We were in a private area that had TVs and away from other patrons.

Yelp
Do not go here. The service was horrible. The food was bland and expensive. The only good thing about it was the ambience very chilling and grown.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED! The Good - Great service. Our waitress was very polite and made sure we were well taken care of. - The sweet potato wedges were nicely seasoned. The Bad: - The NY strip steak had a huge strip of fat along the side. The meat was unseasoned and overcooked, even though I asked for medium. - My boyfriend had the branzino, which seemed to have been thawed out and poorly prepared. It also lacked seasoning. - When the restaurant manager came over and asked about the food, we told him the branzino was terrible. He oddly responded that he prefers the snapper instead of offering an alternative. My boyfriend and I are accustomed to fine dining and had high expectations for Prime, but we left feeling very underwhelmed. It seems like many Atlanta restaurants have started to prioritize vibe and appearance over the quality of the food.

Yelp
Brand new upscale cigar venue in midtown and I'm a fan! Our server was Asia and she was super attentive and helpful. The manager stopped by several times to check on us and almost every staff member made eye contact and checked on us. The music was perfection and the ambiance was laid back. Perfect date night or after work chill spot. They've only been open a few weeks, so I'd love to see the menu evolve. The food menu is limited but the cocktails were excellent. We will return.

Yelp
A nice place, the crowd is there to meet folks versus smoking cigars. I went Sunday afternoon a little different having hookah smoke next to me. The salmon egg rolls are AMAZING. Visiting from Cali but my server was A+.

Yelp
This was my experience at Prime on Peachtree. Since reservations were made we were seated immediately. Good start. After being seated there we were asked if we wanted sparkling water or still water which my wife asked for a sparkling water and I asked for still water. The bottles were brought to the table and poured which is cool and shortly after our waiter came to the table. I ordered the lobster bisque, oysters and ordered a two whiskey old fashions. We also ordered our food since we knew what we were getting. I ordered the Prime Alfredo and a Ribeye. We were asked if we wanted a bone in or boneless ribeye and was told how the bone in ribeye is more flavorful. So we opted for a bone in ribeye (no price difference was communicated). The waiter asked if we would like the Prime's private selection whiskey (which is usually house whiskey) so I said that would be fine. The appetizers took about 30 mins to come out and were decent at best. Nothing special about them at all. Then the drinks ( with their private selection whiskey) comes out. They were decent also, nothing to rave about or request for another. No biggie. While waiting for our food for approximately 40 mins the chef comes to our table and asked if we ordered the tomahawk steak. I said no, I ordered the ribeye which was in bold letters in the menu. He walked off for a second and returned saying well the steak is frozen and we need to thaw it out but it should be out with in ten mins. Cool no worries. After waiting another 25 mins, my Alfredo comes out, and the sides for the steak. It was just Mac and Brussel sprouts. Again that was decent. While waiting for the steak to come, the chef offered us cheese cake, which ok that cool and thank you. Another 10 mins went by and they finally come out with the steak. Mind you I ordered a medium well steak. This steak tasted unseasoned, over cooked. They attempted to add flavor with some butter but that will only go so far. The steak just didn't cut it (no pun intended). Then they bring my bill out. This bill was absolutely ridiculous for the service and food provided. That "private selection" whiskey came out to $29 dollars each. That ribeye steak that I ordered $64 dollars, the one they charged me for with the bone in $94. When trying to figure out what was happening with my bill my waiter goes to explain to me that when I ordered the ribeye and he suggested bone in cause the flavor is better, that meant I was ok with paying the difference. Never once was it explained that I was getting a completely different steak than the one I had in mind and that I believed I was ordering. Pretty much the same explanation for the drinks. I said to the waiter, "I think what's happening is you expect your customers to understand what you're failing to clarify". His response was " well I assumed you knew what you were ordering, everyone knows there is a price difference between the bone in and boneless ribeye". He further explained his credentials of being a sous-chef, a restaurant manager, as well as a sushi expert. He offered to a discount of 20% which realistically was not about the money. The misleading upcharging that took place is what was the most unpleasant part of the experience. The fact that my waiter was forth coming with the taste difference between the bone in and boneless ribeye but failed to mention that we were talking about two different steaks and that there was a price difference didn't sit well. The water that was brought out.... $14 per bottle! So I paid my $400 bill and went on my way. This will not be a repeat visit. I experienced it and time to move on.

Yelp
I was hoping this place food would live up to the pictures and experience presented on the website! We went there for my besties birthday dinner and everything went wrong! The service wasn't terrible initially but as the night progressed it got worse. First, we ordered cocktails that took 40 minutes to receive when we were really 6 of 10 people on the restaurant. We literally saw the bartender standing and congregating while we waited for drinks. The appetizers were terrible. The Rockefeller oysters were brought out on a plate of salt served with a mixture made from French onion dip and top with bacon for even more salt! I asked for Caesar salad and it was served with creamy Italian dressing, another person ordered the house with oil/vinegar dressing and it was brought out with ranch dressing. The meatballs were dry and under seasoned. One person was brave enough to order the NY strip steak and it was not seasoned at all and cooked well when medium was requested. We were brought ice in a plastic to go container for the table! It was a lot excuses as opposed to just doing the right thing of comping the check because none of the food was up to par or edible for the price paid! I and the group like to eat and enjoy a great meal with a good ambiance and great experience and unfortunately this place is not managed properly to give it! There's a reason why the restaurant was empty on Wednesday evening when we know places that are worth will have patrons! Need to work on the cooking skills and service skills and it could be a good place.

Yelp
If you're into price gouging, then this place is for you. The drink was no better than any other Old-fashioned, but I'm out $30 for it! For a fvn drink! 3% "Restaurant Fee" is, obviously, them passing on and profiting from the credit card transaction processing fee to the customer. Forced 20% Gratuity added to my bill? Oh - it was one guest, not sure why she indicated two; maybe to trick POS system to automatically add the tip. Beautiful restaurant, great location and atmosphere; I didn't try the food because they're WAAY too expensive for a leisure outing of regular frequency! BTW - $20 for a $13 Cigar, so bring your own (Tobak) These places gotta stop with this shyt. I won't be back anytime soon, but feel free if your pockets are agreeable.

Yelp
Prime Cigar review from our experience last night. 1. You cannot make a reservation unless you submit a credit card. If you cancel your reservation, your card is automatically charged $50. 2. Parking is $20 3. Drinks are watered down. My date is certain that even her Casamigos tequila on the rocks was watered down. 4. Get this shit. We only had 2 drinks and 2 appetizers. The bill was $162.04!!!! They put an automatic $20% gratuity without telling us. 5. Food was very tasty 6. Flat screen projection TVs were crystal clear and well placed. 7. It is more of a sports bar with a young adult night club vibe. Jeans, sports gear, etc. 8. It also doubles as a hookah lounge 9. Waiter was AWESOME If you are looking for an upscale cigar lounge stick with Havana, Cutters, Red Phone Booth, etc. However, if you want the sports bar, Hookah, night club vibe, this is the place to be.

Yelp
Ambiance and Atmosphere: Prime on Peachtree is visually stunning, with tinted glass doors, stylish mood lighting, and a central tree backdrop that's perfect for photos. However, it seems to lack the lively energy you'd expect for a special occasion or date night. Service and Charges: Unfortunately, the service fell short. The 3% card charge and the $14 bottled water surprise were not ideal. Waiting over an hour for food without any nibbles during the wait can be frustrating. Food Quality: On the bright side, the food itself was solid. Your well-seasoned salmon sounds like a winner! Substitution Denied: It's interesting that they wouldn't allow you to substitute mashed potatoes for mac and cheese, especially when they're priced the same. Perhaps they have strict policies in place. Overall, while Prime on Peachtree has its attractive aspects, it might not be the best value for the splurge. If you're looking for a more fulfilling special occasion dinner, there are other options to explore in Atlanta. Hopefully, your next dining experience will be better!

Yelp
Nice to see Midtown finally have a good cigar bar! We went on Saturday. The place is well situated on Peachtree in the heart of Midtown. Upscale, well appointed. And you CAN bring your own cigars. Valet parking in the back, reasonable for the area. Service was top notch. We had the poutine and wings for appetizers. Both were good, but the poutine was SOOO good I didn't want to share. The drinks were moderately strong. My one complaint is their selection of Bourbon and Rum is rather weak. Strange for a cigar bar? They don't have either Four Roses or Eagle Rare. Their top sipping bourbon was Angel's Envy. Tho okay, I grew out of that 20 years ago. For rum, they have 1888. I'd never heard of it, but it was okay. Not as good as Zacapa 23 or a few others I could think of. Up the Bourbon and Rum selection and this place will easily earn 5 stars. But I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Checked out this spot with some friends the other night. It's in the large building diagonally across from Sugar Factory on Peachtree. Gorgeous location, I'm so glad to see something like this occupy that spot, which has been empty for a while (as far as I know). Valet parking was right behind the building so we didn't have to walk far. We got inside and walked around to check it out - it's beautifully decorated with leather banquettes around the side, a massive bar in the middle, and high tops scattered around the edges for extra seating. I had already eaten dinner, but my companions were eating wings and they looked SO good and crispy. The spinach dip looked awesome too, I'll have to go back and try. It started getting pretty busy after we were there around an hour - lots of beautiful and well dressed people there! Great place to go in midtown, I definitely recommend:)

Yelp
Ambiance 10/10. Food 11/10. Service broke the scale. Keem our waiter for brunch was literally amazing. His service was top tier & the vibes were amazing and I'll definitely be coming back next trip to atl, Flavor on everything was immaculate only note is the broccolini was cooked a little soft for my liking.

Yelp
I was so excited to see a cigar bar on Peachtree. I decided to stop in Saturday for a bite to eat and a cigar. The place is big, a nice bar, and plenty of seating. The overall vibe was very cool. I was also happy to see the bar manager who used to work at one of other favorite places. The only negative thing is the lamb chops were tasty but small. Yes, I will definitely go back!!

Yelp
Vibes were nice . Ambiance nice . But food and drinks overpriced . The glass wasn't even half way full for my Mans old fashion. When asked we were told that's how they make them . Service could've been slightly better but the waitress was nice , just come by a little more. Need more of a variety of cigars.

Yelp
This was probably the worst food I've eaten. I paid $50 for a salad! Everyone's orders were undercooked, dry, cold, overly salted to the point of disgusting. I was disturbed at the cost with such low quality. I don't know what the chef is doing but culinary school would be highly recommended.

Yelp
Not a huge humidor but a great selection of cigars. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The vibe was atmosphere was very enjoyable. We will definitely go back.

Yelp
I ordered the seafood gumbo and it was a 10 out of 10. Literally the best gumbo I've ever had!! The key lime martini was also delicious!! The service was top-tier. All of the hostesses, waiters/waitresses were extremely tentative. Even the Executive Chef came out to make sure everything taste good!! My sister and I went to have dinner for our birthday and I'm so glad we chose this restaurant. Being served warm towels at the end of our meal was chefs kiss. Such a great experience and I will definitely be back.

Yelp
The bar tenders on Sunday are not as good as the normal bartender. They also charge fees that do not represent what it actually are for. Sorry, the service is not consistent and not worth coming g to this place.

Yelp
The servers are nice, but I waited 30 min for hookah and then I just cancelled. My husband was 1/2 done with his cigar. The lack of customer service actually annoyed me and the place was empty.

Yelp
This place was not what I was expecting! My usual spot for cigars is much more laid back and relaxed. I was skeptical about a lounge that looked like a club from the outside. However, I really enjoyed my experience here. The team is friendly and accommodating. The humidor is stocked with only the best, premium cigars, no bullshit. This is definitely the cigar lounge to bring your partner to or enjoy with friends to end a night out. The one aspect that can be improved would be transparency on the cigar prices, they aren't labeled in the humidor. Will definitely return and look forward to trying the food menu.

Yelp
Visited Father's Day reservations made for 6:30. No one hardly in here yet we passed the door because we saw Cigar Prime and we knew this was not our entrance so we kept walking until we realized that was the enttance and we turned around to enter. Lo and behold the cigar smoke was incredibly overwhelming. My initial and immediate thought was to abort mission. Saw a few patrons underdressed and very casual than what the IG and FB is promoting/representing. We were about to be seated at a table that was dirty I could see the glassware very cloudy and dingy so we were seated at the very next table for two. Lord glasses dirty and cloudy and when I asked for tea they gentleman took that same cloudy glass to get me some tea. I said young man please give me a to go cup instead. Young man said they did not have any to go cups I said well that glass is dirty and I do not want that glass. He told me something was wrong with the dishwasher and I saw him take the glass and clean it out and he picked up another glass and proceeded to clean that one out as well. Ok smoke is now overwhelming and my husband asked for Jameson the young guy said he was young and didn't know what Jameson was. I said it's alcohol and when he tell the person at the bar she will know. Another guy comes over and takes over the table. He was very excellent And professional both gentleman were. I was expecting what I saw advertised as upscale and it was more of a sports lounge spot. We took our food out in the containers on hand. There were no bags available either. I was floored. My husband is a well polished man and he has a lI king to very fine dining. I was embarrassed the least and to see the restaurant fee, parking fee $20 ( we paid outside) service fee and a credit card fee was mind blowing. This place had me smelling like I visited the cigar bar and I had to shampoo my hair last night and this morning. I ordered oysters and they had artichoke on some of them. lol I knew the show Punk was about to come out of hiding and tell us it was all a dream! Unfortunately this was a terrible experience and we wouldn't come back if they offered free parking, drinks, and food for a party of 10! Your advertising practices is misleading and should be taken down so you can save yourself further embarrassmen! if you want to call it an upscale sports lounge then say that. Just not what we are looking for when we dine prime style.

Yelp
This was the WORST dining experience I've ever had. My friends and I decided to pick this place bc of its social media presence. We're out of towners. And we went on my birthday 8/15.(Thursday) We had a total of 4 women. We sat down at 7:35pm. Our reservation was an 7:15pm. They told us that they were preparing the table. As soon as we turned the corner we noticed that there were 4 total parties. (2 large parties of 10, 1 couple and 1 single diner). They sat us right next to the single dinner party. We were so close that we were pretty much in each other's conversations. We sat in-front of the bar. We asked if we can move to a different spot and they told use those tables were reserved for parties. So we stayed. Our waiter was the bartender. The ambience was nice and the music was good. Not to loud and not to soft. The waiter provided us with two water options...sparkling or still. I asked for a mojito, but he still poured water into my glass. Shortly after that we ordered. An appetizer (mussels) was brought about 30 minuted after ordering. It was good. My single order of a medium steak (Ribeye) was brought to the table at 8:47pm. No other items arrived with it. My steak sat there until 9:07 when we finally requested a manager. We explained our corners and why we were here. He immediately provided excuses.. let me make sure your order was put in. I said he had to because I received my steak. The he stated that they had two large parties. We asked him how can he make it right and he said that he would take care of my meal because it was my birthday and get our food out and he will go from there. He took my lonely steak back. The server came to offer free shots or drinks. We declined. We aren't big drinkers. I still wasn't finished with my Mojito.. All food arrived at 9:20 pm with the prior steak...just being REHEATED! No re-made...just warmed back up with extra butter and some greenery to make it appear 'freshly cooked'. They food was okay. Nothing special to rave about but decent. We had 4 checks and mine arrived with $4.67 Still water charge when I didn't ask for water. My friend received a $14 Sparkling water charge. And everyone had a Restaurant fee mandatory, Service Fee 20% mandatory, 3% charge for ANY card used for payment. Not to mention it's $20 for valet and self parking. No difference- same parking lot- self parking is to the left and valet is to the right. Also the taxes were not calculated correctly. Definitely under charge. The discount that they provided for our troubles was 10% off of everyone's ticket. The manger's way to take care of me for my birthday and his terrible service was to provide at $16 discount. My bill was $162. UNACCEPTABLE! it's 10pm and we got here at 7:30, sat us right next to male customer in an empty restaurant, denied our request to move, my steak sat for over 20 minutes with no sides, he made excuses when we expressed our concerns and pretty much said we aren't as important as his large parties and he can come up with is 10%. I spoke to the manger AGAIN and told him this was unacceptable.. I'm paying more in my mandatory gratuity for a service that was TERRIBLE than the 10% he is taking off. He had more excuses about the kitchen being overwhelm - the restaurant was still empty. Two couples that came after us; ate before us paid and left. He moved it to 20% which he said that is the best he stated he could do. The least they can do is take off the steak. Especially if we declined their offer of FREE drinks. I'm a steak person.. I've ate at plenty of fining dining restaurants and I've NEVER had such poor service. Just because you offer steak for $60+ doesn't make you fining dining. Their whole team FAILED us. NEVER waste your time coming here. HORRIBLE service, tons of excuses, and SUPER LONG WAIT times for the food in a EMPTY restaurant. This definitely ruined my birthday night.

Yelp
Good choice of cigars, but the drinks were awesome! Great ambiance for groups or couples. Service was great; made sure we were comfortable and not without. Nice location too. Definitely going back next time I am in town.

Yelp
We had a 2:00 reservation and we were on time. It is now 2:33 and we haven't even received the water that we ordered, let alone the actual drinks. Our waiter took our food and drinks orders at the same time and we have not seen him since. We ended up having to ask the hostess for water while we waited. My friend's wings came out before ANYTHING (including drinks) and that was actually part of her meal. We sent it back to come out with all the other food when it was ready. 2:40 and we still do not have our mimosas. The table next to us came AFTER us and is halfway done with their drinks and has an appetizer. 2:43, they gave us complimentary donuts (cold), yet still no mimosas. Mind you, it is NOT AT ALL busy in here. 2:54, we just received our mimosas after the waiter tried to blame the bartender for not making. He himself went and made them probably after realizing that he never put them in. 3:08, the food came. We got no syrup with two french toast dishes. When we saw our waiter again, we asked for syrup and he said "extra syrup?" No sir, syrup PERIOD. The food was delicious!!! 10/10 and we were given complimentary shots. Overall, the experience was decent. Other tables seemed to have a great experience as their waiters were more on the ball. We would return in hopes of having a different waiter.

Yelp
Asia did great as our server. She made sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive. Thank you Asia!

Yelp
Nice vibe, that gives a little grown and sexy, but expect to spend $$$. The average cost their speciality drinks was about $22/ drink. The cyan hands down was my favorite.
