The Primeclass Lounge at JFK Terminal 1 is, in my view, the weakest option among the terminal’s lounges. It has a full bar, but only basic wines, beers, and spirits are complimentary, with many premium drinks costing extra. The food is serviceable but nothing memorable, with a selection of salads, cheeses, cold cuts, fruit, and a few hot dishes. While the large restrooms are a positive feature, they are one of the few standout aspects. The location downstairs creates a somewhat basement-like feel, with low ceilings, limited natural light, and no real views—just a glimpse of jet bridges and aircraft wheels. Seating is varied but the space feels cramped, especially during busy periods, and the atmosphere is more functional than relaxing. The entrance is tucked away near Gates 8 and 9, and the overall layout lacks the open, airy energy you might expect in a premium space. It works in a pinch if you have Priority Pass and need a seat, a drink, or a restroom stop, but compared with other lounges in Terminal 1, this one falls short in both comfort and experience.

Google
Great lounge, very clean, comfortable, and with delicious food options. The atmosphere is relaxing and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to unwind. The staff are professional and welcoming, and I especially want to mention an employee named Richer, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Truly outstanding service!

Google
Great lounge! Good food, friendly staff, super clean and cozy and even you can get a shower. Highly recommended to everyone including kids.

Google
Fantastic experience. The staff couldn’t be friendlier, so attentive. Our bartender Andres was so friendly & great service. The food was exactly what we needed before a long flight. Don’t forget to try the desserts before you go- the chocolate mouse is incredible.

Google
This lounge is at JFK Terminal 1 by gate 8. It’s quite small actually. We were asked to join the waitlist online because the place was at capacity. It was nice inside. They kept it pretty clean even with the high volume of travelers. Only 3-4 bathrooms (shared) and 1 shower room. The food was not bad. Chicken was really flavorful. There were also salad, fruit, coffee & tea. Overall a great lounge. I would recommend it.

Google
Thanks for letting us use the lounge with our Priority pass, quick access and good reception staff. Thanks all the staff who made my and my family time incredible. Sharing some pics.

Google
Went lounge hopping with my priority pass and stopped by Air France lounge, Turkish lounge and primeclass. Air France near gate 1 has the widest variety for food and dessert, Turkish lounge by gate 2-3 is good to grab some small water bottles to go (right by Air France lounge gate) and primeclass by gate 8/9 has ramen/instant noodles plus largest restroom space that’s great if you have a luggage/carry on/bag with you! They also have really yummy cheesecake! Pretty empty on Sunday from noon to 3pm when I’m flying out.

Google
Lounge was clean. We sat at the Bar and B was right there with conversations and drinks. When I told her there were no nuts she ran and got them. First time at this lounge and she is a great asset to you.

Yelp
Chill lounge great spot to relax and wait before your flight. Okay food options (we went during dinner time). My main complaint is that it stinks that you have to pay for certain cocktails when a lot of the lounges are complimentary. You can order prosecco and wine and it's free. You can also order certain spirits and basic mixers but for simple things like Aperol spritz you do have to pay for it which is super unfortunate. Either way, great spot to lounge at.

Yelp
Food was okay. Variety of small bites. Variety of soda, coffee and tea Service was outstanding. This is a very busy lounge! The check in customer service was great. There is intentionality keeping the space clean. There is not a bathroom inside the lounge and there isn't a private space to take a call. WiFi looked to be available but I didn't use it. I'd return and recommend

Yelp
Bartender was pleasant and gave us the closing warning to get last minute drinks and food from the buffet. If you have access it's nice to sit down, grab a bite, a drink, heck even a shower while you wait for your flight to board.

Yelp
Small-ish lounge with lots of food, snack and drink options. Came here around 330PM on a weekday (Wednesday) and there was a waitlist. It said it'd be about a 30 min wait which turned out to be pretty accurate (got in around 25 min). There's hot food (pasta, veggie, chicken) and lot of cold food options (salad, fruit, cheese, dessert). Also had variety of bread and snacks. Even had instant ramen! There's a bartender that has complimentary wine/beer as well as other liquor/cocktails for purchase.

Yelp
I was impressed when I visited Primeclass Lounge for the first time. They opened a little on the later side (11 am) but it was worth the visit. The lounge was very modern and well kept. The food seemed more elevated and thoughtful than your run of the mill fare (creative salads and entree items like turkey meatballs). They also had packaged noodle soups like ramen and canned sodas and juices in the fridge. I didn't see a shower but they do have a full bar. This is one of the nicer lounges at this terminal.

Yelp
We stopped by Primeclass before our flight to Taiwan. Was a really easy check in process with our Priority Pass. The lounge is beautiful, with modern interiors, nice bar area. It's very well maintained. Tables get cleaned super quick. There's free wifi. The lounge serves lots of good food. It also has quality snacks. Lots of sodas, coffee, tea and water available as well. We were here for an hour and half, throughly enjoyed our time.

Yelp
There are a few Priority Pass lounges in Terminal 1 that you can choose from. We picked this one because the pictures looked the best and it had the best reviews. It was just okay. We stopped in at around 8 on a Thursday night and it wasn't full but I can see it getting crowded during busier hours. The food is very lackluster. There's a salad bar that has some pasta salad, veggies, cheeses, and some hot food. On this day, they had pasta, chicken, spring vegetables, and rice pilaf but all looked like they came from a frozen dinner. Good thing we brought our own food because none of it looked appetizing. They also had tomato basil soup, and broccoli cheddar, which was mediocre. The water from the filter tasted a bit off so we ended up just buying bottled water. Wish we stopped by a different lounge instead but as I always say, any lounge is better than no lounge.

Yelp
I think this is a surprisingly nice lounge. The decor and design sucks very hospital like. But the food especially dessert and alcohol options are so solid. Staff very friendly. I dig it

Yelp
Great lounge at JFK to relax, eat, have a drink and take a shower while waiting for your flight. Service was great with plenty of food and drinks to choose from. Soft drinks, wines and certain cocktails drinks are included in the price.

Yelp
I arrived at JFK about 3 hours prior to my boarding time. As such, I opted to use my priority pass benefit. When I looked to see what lounges were available at terminal 4 there were 3 options. The first option appears to be the best, but also noted that priority pass access is not available beyond 1:30 pm. Prineclass was the next option. It was easy to find based on the note in the app indicating that it is located at gate A2. As is typically for these lounges, there was a wait. There are small signs at the check in counter noting that you make get on the wait list. I really think it would be helpful to add the ability to add yourself to the wait list prior to your arrival. Seems like that would be something easy to offer and would make this process less staff dependent. The staff at the front appeared to be beyond agitated with guest not knowing that they had to add themselves to the wait list. If this can't be added to the app, maybe add a large sign at the door with instructions. The lounge is a decent size with mainly couch seating. There is a small food and drink area that offered sandwiches, salads, muffins and pastries and various drink options. The staff were not friendly and also seemed agitated. The area was also not clean. Additionally, I tried 4 USB plugs and none of them worked. Last, but not least, they don't have a restroom area. This is probably the worst lounge I have visited.

Yelp
Bartender was really rude when we were here. He was on his phone most of the time, too. They did have a selection of food that I'm sure was above average that we were unfortunately unable to enjoy. We were there an hour and a half before closing. I did ask to see if we could have some more Turkish delight but I was declined because of the closing. People do pay to come here and I think they should offer and replenish food until they are closed. Guests are allowed two drinks with their admission included in the price. We will not be back.

Yelp
Been to a better Primeclass lounge, but what can I say? It's New York. At least it's clean and the best thing was the instant noodles.

Yelp
Pretty good lounge! Perks of Priority Pass - gets you and 2 guests in. We enjoyed it, a bit small but doable for free grub and drinks; until your long haul flight... My kids liked their hot breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage and toast. Fruits & salad bar was slim picking... (Centurion does it better). The biggest hit - their ramen noodles! Spicy, none and veggie - kids & adults approved. Service was friendly, warm welcome and no hassle... no complaint. They kept the areas clean despite all the kids running around... and making tiny messes around. Family friendly for sure but I can see some adult "annoyance" faces as well... lol I don't mind it, just put your headphones on. #theloungelife #yelplife #travellife

Yelp
Second time here! And this time its no good! The wait time is 1 hour to get in! Plus they dont want us to pick food and not stay! How this even call a lounge? Nobody checks people on how long they stay there!! So sad that this is the only lounge till midnight at terminal 4! The front desk guy is rude too does not even look at you and just point at the barcode for waitlist!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is ok, not great but gets its job done. While the other ones are not open and this one was the only one that was accepting priority pass guests. It was a bit busy but still able to find seats. The food was alright, good variety. Soft drinks and coffee are self service but the alcohol drinks will need to order from the bar. Each boarding pass gets 2 free drinks mostly just house wine. Bathroom is always busy have to wait in the line to get in.

Yelp
Since my flight got canceled yesterday I get to try another lounge that takes priority pass which was not too far from the india airline one. It's called prime class lounge at terminal 4 inside of JFK airport .I would give it 3.5 since I couldn't do that so i rounded up to 4. I want to focus on 3 areas which they are service , food and cleanliness. First off, Service , the service there was impeccable . The plates never go empty or if it did which it happened to one of the items it was restocked within 5 mins . I always see 2-3 staffs there walking around restocking and maintaining the food supply. Next I want to get into food. The choices of food here is definitely better and healthier in my opinion. I give this lounge the benefit of the doubt because 3 out of 5 plates were completely empty for at least 40 mins while we were there so we didn't even know what they were. This lounge has a salads , 3 different wraps ( turkey , ham and pastrami) which they all were delicious. And the alcoholic Choices were amazing as they have bottled wines (red, white and rose). After talking about food let's dive into the atmosphere , this place is very spacious and cozy. It has a very modern design and very clean as well. Definitely will he back the next time I fly again out of JFK . Just a quick note , when they reach capacity they will not take any more priority pass until a certain time. And if they reached capacity just ask if u are allowed to get food and go eat it somewhere else because when we asked they said ok .

Yelp
I dropped by this place recently during my layover. It was a small but cozy lounge. The staff was very friendly. The food there unfortunately was just average. There was scrambled eggs, green beans, wheat and white pita, bread, small salad bar, veggie and Turkey wraps, cinnamon buns, cheesecake bites, and muffins. Half of the hot serving containers didn't even have food in it. Disappointed.. The washrooms were big but the automatic faucet inside didn't even work.

Yelp
Priority pass lounges are notorious for falling under "you get what you pay for" or don't pay for? Anyway, I tried entering 4 times after Delta sky lounge had a hit of a wait. You can NEVER get in this place. Reading the other reviews of, no bathroom, windows etc. I'm good. Ambiance is like a NYC subway station. Lacking ..
google avatar

Marla F.

Yelp
No bathroom? No hot sauce? lol about the lack of hot sauce but really no bathroom? Staff is friendly and it's moderately clean. Chargers by the seats is nice but I feel it's the bare minimum compared to all types of lounges now.
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
Pretty average lounge, but with no large windows and no bathrooms. Food and beverage selection was serve yourself. They had sandwiches, salads, and crackers. The staff were keeping the food refilled and the area clean, but many open tables were still dirty when we arrived. Overall, worth a stop if you need a quick bite, but not worth going out of your way to get anything.
google avatar

Jeanette I.

Yelp
Not real hot food only sandwiches! Worst lounge food I've ever seen in NYC and globally. The lounge itself is clean though
google avatar

Maggie L.

Yelp
Solid priority pass lounge! Space is cleaned regularly with very attentive staff. Food consists of a big fridge with free beer and wine, and sodas off to the side. Food is cold sandwiches, wraps, and salads which were good. Not a lot of windows but I was very satisfied with my experience.
google avatar

Yelp
"Acclimating you before the flight" This is a brilliant lounge concept to condition you to your final destination before your fly. No food, barely utensils, completely understaffed in hot cramped quarters. A perfect transition from the way too upscale New Yorm. Not sure if it's the food or the delicate constitutions of the patrons. But everyone here seems very active colons. 10 minutes to get into the bathroom. Pluses - 2 free drinks and not everything will make you vomit - friendly staff Negatives - literally everything else - bad food - hot - over crowded
google avatar

Tyler C.

Yelp
I called before flying to confirm that they accepted priority pass. They do... kinda. Having your membership number isn't adequate, having an email card doesn't count. It has to be the physical Priority Pass card. Of course you can pay the 59 dollars and walk in. And no, priority partner doesn't have a downloadable card. After calling Priority Partners I learned that a virtual QR from the website will work. So I did get to enter. Lounge was empty. Nicely decorated. Plugs available at the bar, not by the couches, walls or seats.

Yelp
This is for the primeclass lounge in Terminal 1 in JFK. It had some potential, but rather uncomfortable overall. One whole side along the windows had no lights, so we sat there at the one empty table we found, and it was dark. the table was dirty and sticky too. there was a bar with no bartender. He eventually came if you stood around there. There were prices listed on the drink menu but protip just look online to confirm but the first 2 I think are free. snacks/food were meh. A little salad bar, 3 types of instant ramen, a toaster, some snacks and chips that shared the same serving spoon as the nuts, so warning for those with allergies. coolest thing was this robot that rode around where you could deposit your garbage. bathrooms were ok.

M U.

Yelp
It's a lounge without a bathroom. The food options are very limited, and the seating is just okay. There's a one-hour wait, and it's crowded and noisy. Save your money--gate seating is just as good as what you'll get in this lounge.
google avatar

Laks P.

Yelp
Really great lounge and food options! Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. However, no free drinks like the Club at ATL lounge at the Hartsfield Jackson International airport. Nonetheless, definitely recommend checking this lounge if if you are flying though JFK!
google avatar

Walt P.

Yelp
Dirty lounge. Bathrooms are dirty and are not cleaned often. Sofa and chairs are run down. The bar is not that great most drinks are not complementary. The food was average for a lounge. Staff was not that friendly except for the person that would check you in upstairs.
google avatar

Gabrielle D.

Yelp
Pretty nasty in here. Many outlets don't work and seats are filthy. Staff is quite friendly and nice and they do have showers. But still.... Also- you gotta pay for drinks.
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
Had a layover on our way to Morocco. Nice lounge with a limited food selection. Self serve bar for beer, wine , and liquor. Beats sitting in the boarding area.
google avatar

Deb A.

Yelp
It's my first time in this lounge. It's either I'm hungry or they just have ample and good selections of food. They allow 2 alcoholic drinks. I had the sangiovese that's acceptable to my palate. I had the meatballs with fresh pineapple and quinoa. They were delish! Cappuccino was aromatic! I'm glad I stopped by here.

Keith K.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our stay at this lounge. It was very clean, courteous and friendly staff and the food was great too! Would highly recommend to get away from the mad dash of the airport to a comfortable, well managed, peaceful lounge experience.

Noreen M.

Yelp
At last!!! Stumbled on this Prime Lounge GODSEND at jfk airport after being exiled from Amex & Delta Sky Club as a Platinum Amex Card Holder 9 years & Delta Employee Retired!!!! These 2 Clubs no longer allow ANY AIRLINE Employees WITH Amex cards ($600 ANNUAL DUES) to enter as Standby Employees without CONFIRMED SEATS. So anyone looking for a place to escape the madness of gate areas w constant TOO-LOUD announcements, cell phone speaker-phone chaos etc....RUN HERE. Fresh coffee from fresh beans, desserts, fruit, salads, hot basic food & ALCOHOL!!! No it's not fancy but I must say, comfy chairs, soft lights, several TVs...it was cleaner than Centurion Amex Club upstairs with its cold (hot food) picked-over buffet, UNcomfy seating at skinny dirty pub tables and easier to access than Delta Sky Club w its lines now...We employees earned & deserve a place that welcomes us to enjoy a beverage & a snack at the very least! To the folks who gave this place a lousy review...shame on you for comparing it to elite lounges that ban airport employees. Yay Prime Lounge!!! Open 24 hours unlike other clubs that close 11pm whether u r stranded or not. Kind people work here vs the snooty club bartenders & aloof floor help who could care less about ur visit. TY Prime Lounge!!! Hope to see more of you popping up in more airports ASAP!!!! Noreen Maloney

Meroe P.

Yelp
The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because I didn't have to pay the $55 entrance fee. For that amount of money I expect a hot breakfast to be served rather than stale pastries individually wrapped in environmentally disastrous cellophane and the mini-eat bags of chips available. To be fair, they do offer half a cheese sandwich with half of a WHOLE slice of cheese in it. The TVs don't work - no signal. But it will serve while I wait out the hour before I can check into the Centurion Lounge upstairs. If you don't have a Priority Pass card or some other card that gets you in for free, don't waste your money here.

Yelp
If you ever find yourself flying out of terminal 1 of JFK, this is a great lounge to recharge and relax before boarding your long flight to start your adventure. Primeclass Lounge was elegant compared to other lounges at JFK. I absolutely LOVED my time here. It is kinda hidden so you would need to pay close attention to their directions in order to find it. Once you check-in, you will need to go downstairs since their lounge is downstairs. It felt exclusive and private. When we were there the lounge was empty. However the food choices were plentiful and I felt that it would make a lot of people happy: they had the full salad bar, hot food area, pasta, soup, sandwiches, you name it. The bar staff was friendly. However, you only receive 2 drink vouchers with check-in and anything extra you will need to pay. I loved their showers! You will need to ask the staff for the keys in order to use it and they might charge an extra fee but it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff will also hand you a towel and whatever you need. What better way to be fresh and clean before you board that long international flight than spending you time here?!
google avatar

Amber H.

Yelp
The food at this lounge is good, the beef is really good. Its not a full meal tho it's more like small stuff to hold you over til your flight. There is 3 bathrooms and showers are in the bathroom as well. When you go in you are allowed 2 free alcoholic drinks from their menu, if you would like more or something different you need to pay out of pocket.
google avatar

Nadia Z.

Yelp
Quiet gem is hidden in terminal 1, past security, at the gates 8 and 9, downstairs. It is part of Priority pass network. Super quiet (cannot hear announcements, so keep track of time!), comfortable & spacious, this lounge offers hot & cold buffet, soft drinks & beer, and bar that opens at 2pm. Wine, whiskey, gin & mixed drinks are available, with first 2 drinks on the house for members. Bathroom & showers are very modern & clean. Free WiFi.
google avatar

Daniel P.

Yelp
I would avoid, rude and dismissive staff, apparently without managerial oversight (request to speak to management was denied). One is better off wandering the terminal or duty free shops.
google avatar

Leilanie E.

Yelp
Don't waste your time here. This is the most depressing lounge I have ever been to. Terrible drink selection, and even worse food selection. The workers refilling stations were very nice.

Carolyn C.

Yelp
I found this lounge to be surprisingly nice, and a decent place to wait for a departing flight in what is a dreadful Terminal 1 at JFK. The atmosphere is quite pleasant. There is a full bar (you get 2 drinks free, the rest you have to pay for). The food choices are decent (not amazing, but enough choice. The bathrooms and the shower facility are OK and kept clean. Only real complaint was the kitchen staff fighting loudly and hurling foul language at each other, for a about 10 minutes. Terminal 1 is a disgrace and this lounge allows you to avoid the crowded, filthy gate areas.

Eva S.

Yelp
We were flying to Istanbul and visited this lounge with our Priority Pass. The staff was amazing and ambiance was fun. Really enjoyed the experience because of the dedicated staff!
google avatar

Bill C.

Yelp
So unpleasant overcrowded. Bad lighting. In the basement windows face wall. Sad. Depressing

W C.

Yelp
Hours listed on a Wednesday night said it closes at 1a. Arrived here at 11:45p. They said they were closing early and refused us admission. There was a worker hanging out by the door waiting for the patrons inside to leave. Totally unprofessional.
google avatar

Greg W.

Yelp
The lounge is a new addition, but the folks here were as friendly as can be and a good value - certainly a contrast to the noise and bustle of Gate 10 upstairs. I look forward to coming back this way soon!
google avatar

Jon B.

Yelp
Hidden gem lounge in Terminal 1. Full hot buffet and 2 drinks per person. I went w the Prosecco . Lots of space to relax and new to the priority pass family .. so it wasn't crowded !!

George K.

Yelp
I was traveling through terminal one and I came across primeclass lounge. I walked inside and the staff/ambiance was just exquisite. The food was exceptional and also very nice amenities where included. They have a shower for all guest and everything is very clean. I highly recommend anybody traveling via terminal One in JFK to go to primeclass lounge even if they have lounge access elsewhere. I been to the Air France and Lufthansa lounge as well but this by far is the best!

Giray C.

Yelp
Superb design, best staff, outstanding service and great food. Good variety of premium liquor at the bar too.

Russell G.

Yelp
A solid lounge! Smaller than the major airlines like Cathay, Sing, BA or AA. But the furniture is plenty nice. The food is frankly better than Cathay or Sing. I mean, yeah, I used priority pass, so the priority pass crowd is there. But these problems exist in all lounges that are not first class lounges. I was very pleasant surprised.
