Google
Great sandwich spot! I kinda strolled in by accident and was glad I did. The lady and gentleman working there were very nice that afternoon. I ordered a cold and a hot sub. Both were impeccable quality wise and tasted delicious. A must try.

Google
The subs are phenomenal and we often use them for company lunches. Coretha is always so friendly no matter how large or last minute our orders are. I’m working on the last minute part, promise! She’s honestly one of the main reasons we don’t go with another chain with cheaper prices. Thank you for always being a reliable and friendly lunch spot.

The moment I walked in I was greeted with fresh aromas and kind smiles. The service was above and beyond anything I cud ask from who are now oxen hills finest. The flavors speak for themselves and the authenticity of Philly comes through beautifully especially with their cheese. Coretha was amazing and patient with any and all questions. Should you find yourself in the neighborhood, it is a must stop!

There's a reason why Primo's is #1 best sandwich or sub shop: the sandwiches are on point! Everything from the cuts of meat to the sandwich toppings are fresh, full of flavor. The bread is what you want for a sandwich bread - bit of a crunchy/crispy baked crust. A small restaurant with small tables for up to 4 people. Love the natural lighting from the large windows. Service from Coretha (sp?) was on target. Extremely personal, kind and very engaging with customers. Made all of us feel appreciated as a customer. Highly recommend.

Google
The place is super nice, the food is awesome, best sandwich Ive had in my life and the cashier, Coretha was extremely friendly and sweet, which for someone who has trouble ordering in places madethe experience very noce and smooth 100/10 would recommend

Google
Top tier customer service! Coretta made sure to greet me with a smile and made sure I was welcome before serving a well made, hot meal. Recommend coming here if you're in the area!

Good sandwich place in National Harbor. The price seems a bit high, but the sandwiches are great. Nom nom nom! 🤪

Google
Amazing place just to go in and talk to people. The manger Coretha was so amazing. She talked to us and helped us out and told us about the place. Definitely manger of the year! Go there and try it! ☺️😊

Yelp
PrimoHoagies is a great sandwich shop at National Harbor. We were staying at a local hotel and needed a fast dinner option one night. My husband walked to Primo and they filled our order very quickly. The sandwiches are huge...next time, we'll order the smallest ones. The ingredients were fresh. The hoagies were flavorful. Definitely a great spot to grab a quick meal.

Yelp
Came back here again for the same type of event. It's like the staff never have seen a crowd before .... They're 4 blocks from a convention center in a town built entirely around a convention center. We waited forever for our orders (3 separate), and one of them was completely wrong. After way too long for a sandwich, the same staff member who took my order shouts my name MISPRONOUNCED it to the point it was almost unrecognizable, after repeating it perfectly back to me twenty minutes prior. Shame on me for waiting twenty minutes for a lukewarm chicken cutlet hero without complaint. If I'm going to wait for a sandwich it should hot. My friend, Matt, ordered a (hot) chicken cheesesteak hero and got a cold Italian hero with ham. It turns out they lost his ticket, and that sandwich was for some other Matt who ordered AFTER him. So now two people have gotten screwed. No apology, and neither of the Matts got comped for their order. But then twenty minutes after my friend finally Matt got his food, and was nearly done with his remade sandwich, guess who they're calling back up for a chicken cheesesteak? Guess who? Matt! Pathetic. I feel bad for suggesting this place.

Yelp
The lasagna here was packed with layers of flavor. Lots of cheese, meat, and sauce without being overly messy. It came bubbling hot out of the oven which I loved. Garlic bread on the side was a nice bonus. The space was clean and had a warm, casual feel. Our waiter was helpful and had good timing. Solid comfort food all around.

Troy B.

Yelp
This is one of the few fast service type of places in the area. Most other places are sit down type of places. This place gives you the chance to order and go.. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating. We had turkey and cheese sandwiches and they were very good. I would go back here for lunch next time! The environment is kind of like a five guys type of set up.

Charles C.

Yelp
Caught Primo early during a convention day and had a small Big "T" with no tomatoes, no oil/vinegar and pepper cheese. The sandwich was 13 with tip and was pretty good! I have tried two PrimoHoagies, one in Baltimore and one in Ocean City and I have always had good experiences at the Ocean City location. They replaced the Mayorga that was once here and while it was the only other place on the island for coffee outside of Starbucks this feels like a good choice overall. Coretha was chipper and kind as she took my order before it got too crazy for the lunch rush. The seating is pretty accommodating for groups venturing out to grab a bit as I sat with 5 others with no issue.

Philip L.

Yelp
Better than expected, yummy philly cheesesteak with provolone. There's a lot of larger sizes, very shareable for a family or group. There's not too many casual places in National Harbor so this is a good addition to the mix of Chipotle, BurgerFi, lobster rolls, peri peri chicken.

Jackie K.

Yelp
First of all I want to start off saying, I love Primos! The quality, care, and integrity I received in my order today was just so sad! I payed $2 extra for long hots and got jalapeños.... The sharp cheddar bites I payed for were to be used by 11/8... that was yesterday, but they ripped the "use by" part of the sticker off so it's ok right? Ummm, yeah...NO! I love sweet peppers and pickles.... Not mixed together though, they did that too. I will be driving up to NJ or PA for my Primo orders rather than go back to the National Harbor location from now on. National Harbor is diminishing the integrity of the company and they should close down if they are not going to have enough integrity to keep up the quality Primos stands for. I highly recommend the NJ and PA locations but National Harbor is trash.

Yelp
I've been here twice in the last month. My first experience was awesome. The customer service was great. The young lady that took my order was a rockstar. My sandwich was made to perfection. I really enjoyed it. The second time I went, I ordered through the app a steak and cheese.. wasn't happy with the presentation But the meat was good. The sandwich was definitely on the skinny side. I posted pictures below. . I will try this place again, but I won't be ordering a steak and cheese. I will stick with the turkey and cheese.

Kareema L.

Yelp
again, really want this place to do better. the last 2 times ive ordered i get 2 hoagies, and they confuse our orders. cheeses swapped or wrong meats. Just wish they would pay attention to the tickets.

Yelp
PrimoHoagies is located in the heart of National Harbor. Interior is not large and I couldn't tell if they were offering indoor seating due to the amount of people waiting for there orders. Primo serves Hoagies of all varieties from a surprisingly large menu, in three different sizes. I ordered the Audie with no dressing in Primo size. When I eventually got my Hoagies, it was excellent and frankly surpassed my expectations. The bread and toppings were fresh and the meats tasty. Primo was exactly the right size. Service is where this location absolutely falls apart. The wait to order was significant as they were clearly having staffing issues. One person couldn't stay the register and continue to take orders, causing the line to backup. The wait for a Hoagie was 20-30 minutes if ordered in store. It appears they lost track of the online orders at some point, as the person next to me eventually had to cancel their order after it was almost an hour late according to the app. PrimoHoagies is also not the cheapest of options. Will I eat at PrimoHoagies again? Yes, but probably not this one.

Yelp
Coretha made it feel like running into the sammich shop on da corner with the old folks making your sandwich. Great customer service. Great food. Great times.

Frieda F.

Yelp
Loved our hoagies here. Bread was perfect, fresh and just the right amount of chew. My chicken cheesesteak had juicy breast chunks and great flavor. Hubs enjoyed his spicy cold cuts...both of us saved half our Primo size subs for later--great value for the money. Plus servers were so friendly and helpful. Great place!

Donnell J.

Yelp
This places is great!! I love everything about this establishment, the food was delicious and the customer service is off the charts wonderful. Once you enter the establishment, you're instantly greeted with a warm bright smile and music that's for sure to keep you in a good mood as you wait for your food to be made. This is my first time visiting this place but it definitely won't be my last.

Brittany M.

Yelp
Great lunch option in the National Harbor. Flavorful and fresh food. The Turkey Diablo has quickly become my favorite.

Phaithe N.

Yelp
Amazing sandwiches! Paired with the beauty of the tourist area outside, this place is the perfect spot for lunch. Exceptional service as there were 2 workers running the show.

Jim E.

Yelp
So I ate here not long ago and gave it 5 stars. Because of that, I returned and was sorely disappointed. Decided to try something different. Ordered a medium Audie (turkey & roast beef). I added lettuce, tomato, mayo salt & pepper, salt & pepper. This roast beef was sliced way too thick and was tough and not great. Turkey was fine. They asked the next person in line, regular or seeded roll...nobody asked me. The last two times I visited the lettuce was shredded. Now, it is scarce and not shredded. Meat was not generous. Beef was sliced wat too thick and was tough. Very disappointed...disappointed enough to warrent another review. It may be the personnel, it may be new protocol. I may not return. Sad face because my first two visits were epic.

Engrish T.

Yelp
My all time favorite American hoagie is the Abruzzi. The roast pork and broccoli rabe are delish but the star is the sharp provolone. I was so sad when the Leesburg location closed. It's much closer to me but I was excited to hear another one opened at National Harbor. When I'm in the area, I get the largest size so it lasts a few meals.

Brendan K.

Yelp
Primos is delicious. Hands down better than typical chain sub shops. The ingredients, the bread and the meats are on point. Pictured is the classic Italian. The cheesesteak is also mouth watering. Service was on point.

Chelsea W.

Yelp
Amazing staff and service. It was lunch rush and looked like only two people working (could have been more in the back perhaps) but they were both hustling to work together to get orders out. I believe the lady that took my order was Karime (I apologize if I got that wrong) but she was so personable and sweet. Even though they were overwhelmed with orders and a line out the door, she made sure to make a personal connection with each person ordering while working and keeping the line moving! Worth mentioning the food was delicious too! I recommend anyone in the area give them a try!!

Michael P.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to grab sandwiches to take with us for lunch later. The service was great. The young lady greeted us with a smile and patiently answered our questions. The sandwiches were delicious, and the Primo size filling. Definitely a stop in next time we are in the area.

Andrew M.

Yelp
Simply the best hoagies and cheesesteaks you can get outside of Philadelphia. And they're from Philly, so yeah everything is LEGIT. Get the sharp provolone. Get the primo size you can opt for the seeded bread...there aint nothing like that bread or that provy anywhere around here. Definitely get Mild Sharp Italian or an Old Italian (pictured). They're stuffed with simply the highest POSSIBLE quality of imported Italian meats and finished with real evoo/red wine vinegar/impossibly thin-sliced onions. Not all Primos have cheesesteaks on offer, but this shop does! Do NOT not get a cheesesteak - the steak is incredibly fresh and full of juice. I like mine with marinara so I opted for the Pizza Steak and added broccoli rabe (pictured). I also got a little cup of sharp provolone so when I reheated the steak later, I added some sharp to it. Good. GOD! You could also get one traditional with just onion and cheese (the Cooper White American (like an actual cheese not the typical American "cheese product" that comes usually in yellow). Or you can go with mild or sharp provolone. If you like heat, add long hots (their long green oil-cured peppers that pack quite a bit of heat). Or, go California and get your cheesesteak with lettuce, tomato, raw onion, and mayo...thats what I do when at the boardwalk by the shore. The rest of the sandwiches are outstanding as well. The corned beef schwartzie, eggplant parm, chicken cutlets, and MEATBALL sandwiches are all top of their class.

Yelp
I have been craving for Primo Hoagies #1 Italian ever since the Leesburg. VA location closed years ago. Decided to make a detour to this location on myvway back from Eastern Shore. Two young men working there were courteous and the hoagie was well. Bread has the right amount of density to complement the meat and veggies toppings. Also learned bread is made in house daily. If you are looking for a hearty meal, you cant go wrong with this place!

Christopher B.

Yelp
I've never heard of this place but it seemed like a great option for someone seeking out lunch right after getting off a flight who was staying in the area. I had the Italian sandwich and I had no complaints. Not only was it good but it was pretty big. The complaint I do have has nothing to do with the staff or food but with the tables. Who on earth assembled these?? Whether inside or outside, all of them were done in a shoddy way where they wobbled to the point of not being able to place a drink on the table. Awful! It really dampened the experience of not being able to comfortably enjoy our sandwiches.

Richard S.

Yelp
Caretha (like Aretha, the Queen of Soul!) was wonderful. Very friendly, and she makes a good sandwich. Good quality bread and meats. Generous portions. I like that the bread has sesame seeds. Several Italian sub options. Quick, easy, and relatively affordable.

Krista S.

Yelp
Y'all got a real gem in Coretha! She handled the rush and steadiness during the Commanders draft day like a champ! She was cool, calm and provided great customer service. I will come back to this location just because of her.

Chris M.

Yelp
Kept seeing this place pop up on my DD and UE app and finally gave them a try tonight...big mistake. I'm just going to list the things wrong with my sandwich: a bit overly priced for the size (maybe them being at the Harbor has something to do with that) however that was the smallest thing wrong, the lettuce tomato and onion were all wilted like they pulled their toppings out of the freezer, asked for oil & vinegar and of course that was left out, and the bread was extremely hard but somehow came to me half soggy due to the toppings defrosting on the sandwich. Needless to say, 1st and last time eating their and I'll make sure no one else I know will eat there. Also, just in case you're wondering, I ordered the "Big T" and it was slightly larger than what you would get from subway (which I said goodbye to years ago).

Philly Effin P.

Yelp
Phat Boy Philly here. Ive been to Primo a few times now. They are very consistent. I must say, to my surprise, its the best cheeseteak Ive had within a 20 min drive from DC. Get the wiz and onion. The seeded roll is great. For a chain restaurant originally from New Jersey, its awesome. Phat boy says you wont leave disappointed. Phat boy out

Kiki M.

Yelp
Food is awesome and the customer service is Great Coretha is one of the best workers there

Michelle W.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of a delicious Italian sub. This was my first time trying Primo Hoagies and I was impressed. So impressed I went back the following weekend and introduced them to my girlfriend. We got the Italian sub with smoked provolone . This definitely will be a spot to hit when visiting national harbor

Vincent B.

Yelp
Always love Primos! I try to go any time I'm in South Jersey, Philly or DC. Was treated great by Coretha and got the Nellie and Soprano.

Mike D.

Yelp
Great service. Had small issue w sandwich .. may have been my fault but the manager Terrance and the employee Brenda made it right and provided outstanding customer service. Thanks guys y'all made a costumer out of me for sure! Great sandwiches btw thanks

Marcia S.

Yelp
This was hands down the worst deli sandwich that I and my lunch guest have ever had. The sesame bread was hard and the meat(s) lacked flavor. Never again.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Best Tuna Hoagie in PG County!! the flavors are all there tomatoes, oil & vinegar, lettuce, onions, oregano, pepper Jack cheese for me, lettuce, pickles, hot peppers. The service is expedient, the team there actually care about the work the do! Which is rare at other establishments in the area! The restaurant was clean, bright, and the line is never too long for all that deliciousness! #STAMPED

Donna B.

Yelp
You can wrong with anything on their menu. The prices are reasonable since they aren't stingy with making their Subs. They also have sides you can chose from that are a good size for one or more. And the customer service is great. Never had any issues with whatever I've ordered. If you eat inside, they have a few tables for that as well, or just walk down to water if you're at the harbor.

Dan F.

Yelp
Just had the best mild sharp Italian sandwich in years. Flavorful. Expertly made. Delicious. Coretha is an expert at her craft. She belongs on a tv food challenge show because she is great at what she does. Very friendly and funny too. Be sure to order from her!

F S.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon. My first time here, as I usually get my sandwiches from Whole Foods. The food was spicy and fresh. The Italian diablo is my new favorite. Caretha was very friendly and gave great customer service! Will certainly be back.

Mike M.

Yelp
Every table was dirty. The guy running the register seemed more focused on stocking the pop than waiting on customers. He had to be asked by the other workers to wait on customers.

Dom G.

Yelp
We were staying close and this seemed like a good spot to grab a quick sandwich for lunch. It's really a take out spot but we have been waiting for 30 mins for 2 hoagies (meatball and Italian) and they can't tell me how much longer it will be. Can't speak to the quality of the food but no matter how good it is there is no way it's worth the wait. Maybe one option would be to order an hour in advance and then come back later to pick up.

Becky S.

Yelp
Service was great! Perfect for lunch, if not real hungry get the smaller size, my chicken Diablo sandwich was so big and good I ate the whole thing and it will probably hold me over until tomorrow. I loved the cheese on my sandwich so much they said I could buy some so of course I bought 1/4 lb. and now wish I would of got more before jumping on the plane to head home.

Keith B.

Yelp
Stopped here to grab a sandwich and was anticipating a culinary masterpiece given the rave reviews. Suffice it to say I was disappointed. First of all, I got a medium turkey and cheese sandwich, nothing else, and it rang up at just under $15! Damn, that's expensive. Second, the place wasn't crowded at all -- there were maybe 3-4 other people waiting in front of me -- and it took over 20 minutes to make my sandwich. Not exactly the turnaround I expected from a sandwich shop... I knew it would take longer than Subway, but I didn't think it would take *that* long. Finally, when I dug into the sandwich, it wasn't anything special. After all these reviews about "this is the best sandwich place EVARRRR," I got a hearty "meh" out of my sandwich. Don't know if everyone was blown away by the sesame seeds on the bread, but there wasn't much impressive -- I understand you can't get super-impressive with a turkey and cheese sandwich, but I figured it'd be better than, well, Subway, especially considering how long it took to make.

Kim M.

Yelp
This was my first time trying a sub from Promo Hoagies. This sandwich was fresh, the bread was perfectly baked. Very tasty. I would highly recommend.

Danielle M.

Yelp
This is the Bada Bing with marinara added. Best sandwich I've ever had in my entire life!!! I'm so sad they don't have this place in Fl where I live. The service was amazing, the staff was so friendly, and the food was exceptional!!! 10 plus stars! Go there!!! Like now... it's that good.

Lauren S.

Yelp
I enjoyed the sandwich that I got from Primo Hoagies. I went for a cold cuts turkey sandwich and also tried some of the meatball sub and both were tasty- a good amount of meat on the sandwich and the veggies were fresh. The only reason why I gave it four stars is because it takes a while to get your order. I think they're short staffed because there's a help wanted sign outside.

Dale S.

Yelp
Amazing service with amazing food! The staff was incredibly friendly and she took pride in her job. Will definitely be returning. Don't pass it by just because it doesn't look as fancy as the surrounding restaurants.

Mike G.

Yelp
Great customer services from coretha always... They have the best subs in the business on God

R J.

Yelp
The husbae loves cold cuts so I figured I'd break up the monotony and get him a treat for lunch.... Ordering was easy, we ordered online and I picked up on my way home. Parking is tough but they do have a curbside option that I decided to forgo because I wanted to check out Furlough Cheesecake close by. My order was ready, staff was friendly enough...the sandwiches aren't really that remarkable. The seeded bread is different but not bad. I wasn't disappointed but I also wasn't wowed enough to make a special effort to go to National Harbor just for this. There are also lots of dining options down there, including a Subway. My husband said this meat tasted funny - like it may not have been entirely fresh - not sure because I didn't taste his; mine tasted fine. ‍

Victoria B.

Yelp
Coretha was absolutely amazing! She was quick at taking a plethora of orders during a lunch rush, while also being very welcoming and personable. Not only was the service amazing - but the sandwiches are so good. I love myself a good sub coming from New York. And I can say that this hoagie doesn't disappoint. The bread is one of my favorite parts and the meat is quality. If you are looking for a grade a sandwich ... look no further!

Miguel P.

Yelp
I think the secret of a good sub is the bread and they got it here, also portions are good. They also create a great environment keep it up!

Victoria G.

Yelp
Amazing staff and absolutely delicious cheesesteak. Coopers sharp American is one of my favorite sandwich cheeses so I was ecstatic to find it as an option.
