The 14 Best Hoagies In Philadelphia - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Primo’s is like the Starbucks of hoagies (if Starbucks was awesome and didn't serve floppy sandwiches). There are locations all over the city, they have tons of options, and the sandwiches are consistently good. They make a great Italian and Suprimo (chicken cutlet with mozzarella and roasted red peppers), but the Turkey Schwartzie deserves all of your attention. Swiss cheese, crisp coleslaw, and plenty of Russian dressing get piled on top of roasted turkey breast. You’ll need extra napkins, but the mess is worth it. Plus, they cater, so you can make everyone at the block party happy with one massive platter." - Alison Kessler, Candis Mclean

Primo's Hoagies - Review - Center City - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Primo’s is like the Starbucks of hoagies (if Starbucks was awesome and didn't serve floppy sandwiches). There are locations all over the city, they have tons of options, and the sandwiches are consistently good. They make a great Italian and Suprimo (chicken cutlet with mozzarella and roasted red peppers), but it’s the Turkey Schwartzie we order over and over again. Swiss cheese, crisp coleslaw and plenty of russian dressing is piled on top of roasted turkey breast. You’ll need extra napkins, but the mess is worth it. Plus, they cater, so you can make everyone at the block party happy with one massive platter." - Alison B. Kessler

After reading not too good of reviews of hoagie shops, near 12th and Spruce Streets, I saw a Primo hoagies on my Google maps with good reviews so I decided to go there I ordered the Roast beef with Swiss cheese on a roll with lettuce, tomato, mayo and banana peppers. Also a bag of Herrs Crisp 'N Tasty chips. The meat, cheese, vegetables and mayo were cold and fresh, thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich add chips.

Never been disappointed with a primo! The bread is so fresh you can smell it when you open the door, and the meat is really good quality. If your gonna splurge on a sandwich h id do it here :) I've never had the time to sit in the shop but the staff has always been pleasant and prompt when I've come to place or pick up my order.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely top-notch! PrimoHoagies never disappoints. The sandwiches are always fresh, packed with flavor, and made with quality ingredients. You can tell they take pride in what they do — from the perfectly soft-yet-crispy bread to the generous portions of meat and cheese. The staff is super friendly, fast, and always makes sure your order is right. I’ve tried plenty of hoagie spots around, but Primo’s easily stands above the rest. Whether you grab a classic Italian or one of their specialty hoagies, you really can’t go wrong.

This hole-in-the-wall sandwich spot absolutely BLEW me away. I love sandwiches, and this was the best I’ve ever eaten. Upon walking in, the smell says all that’s needed to be said. The quality of meats, the portion sizing and everything between the bread was amazing. We spoke with Chris, and he made us feel so at home and gave us an incredible experience. I’m only here a couple days, but I want to go back!

Sooo good! Bread is perfectly baked. Meat is cut thinly and is even thru out. You have to taste the potato chips so light and crispy

This used to be a nice place. Went there at 8:05, they said they are cleaning and closing. I went out and checked it here. It says closing at 9. I went in and said do you guys close at 8 or 9. The guy said at 9, but we clean early. I said okay an hour early?! I left the store he came out and yelled at me: “hey hey you come in and say something smart and leave?” I said you close an hour early?” he then yelled at me in the street: but you dont need to come here go somewhere else. Don’t come in and tell us something smart!!!. Anyway dont go there after 8, apparently some of these people evidently dont want to work!
