"Pollo a la brasa is Peru’s most democratic dish, found on every corner at pollerías—the most popular type of Lima restaurant, along with chifa. We love Primos, a sprawling place spotlighting chicken turning slowly on the charcoal-fueled rotisserie. Their version is golden, with crackling skin, juicy meat seasoned with a secret house blend, with a side of house mayo and bright yellow ají sauce that sets everything ablaze. It’s served with french fries, a simple salad, and indispensable ají pollero. A glass of cold chicha morada seals the deal. If you love chicken and french fries...this is the place for you! We're staying in San Isidro and this was one of the few places open late on a Sunday night. We had the "salchipapas" as an appetizer even though it's listed as an entrée. French fries, hot dogs, and chicken. Delicious!!! The hamburger and chicken entrée were both excellent. Casual place. Great place to come with family.

My chicken was clearly undercooked. Sent it back and got another one just as undercooked. In their defence, they didn't charge. Service was perfunctory and the place wasn't busy. French fries were cooked from frozen and the iceberg salad was about as basic as it gets. With so much good food available in Lima it is a wonder how this place manages to stay open. This says to me that there isn't any quality control in the kitchen. If they let undercooked food go out twice - and to the same customer, they really do not care. You can do better in Lima. Give this place a pass.

A very good place for lunch. There is a wide variety of chicken dishes on the menu. The meat is very good, and the prices are reasonable. Perfect for a walk-in lunch, especially if you’re short on time. The menu is diverse, and the staff is friendly and fast, making it a convenient and enjoyable spot.

I was impressed by Primos Chicken- San Isidro from my very first visit, and I will certainly return. The best anticucho l've ever had was served here - it was extremely tasty, juicy, and seasoned with just the right amount of condiments. The Pisco Sour cocktail was a great combination of sweet and sour flavors. The staff were friendly and professional too.

Everything we ate here was delicious. The staff members are kind, however the waiters we encountered didn’t speak a lot of English (which was fine, just different from many of the other restaurants and tourist spots we had been to, so fair warning!) but we made it work! The hostess at the bottom of the stairs will guide you up if there’s a table available. There is parking directly outside of the restaurant.
