Primo’s MX Kitchen & Lounge shines with vibrant Tex-Mex flavors, refreshing margaritas, and a lively patio atmosphere perfect for gatherings.
"The Tex-Mex establishment announced plans in March to move into the Statler this summer after a successful comeback at its original Uptown location. Now, on the heels of Texas governor Greg Abbot’s executive order allowing restaurants across the state to open their doors on May 1, the hotel and Primo’s will roll out a limited menu at Waterproof on the Statler’s 19th floor. The preview pop-up will last from May 1 to May 15, and it will be open late: hours run from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Frozen and on the rocks margaritas starting at $5 will be available all day, with DJs and bottle service nightly." - Adele Chapin
"The Tex-Mex restaurant Primo’s is giving away 60 meals tomorrow, March 24, to service industry employees who are in need: fill out this form to claim a meal and a pickup time. Options include fajita tacos, quesadillas, and enchiladas." - Adele Chapin
"Primo’s MX Kitchen & Lounge is making a comeback at its original Uptown location. The restaurant, formerly known as Primo’s Tex Mex, offers a variety of Tex-Mex dishes including a dozen appetizers, enchiladas, burritos, and tacos. Weekday lunch combos and late-night specials are also available. Desserts include tres leches cake and chocolate flan. The restaurant is scheduled to debut on Friday, February 7." - Tierney Plumb
"After 28 years in business in Dallas, Primo’s Tex Mex closed in 2013 — but it will be back this summer at its original Uptown location at 3309 McKinney Avenue. The new name will be Primo’s MX Kitchen & Lounge and President and CEO of Centurion American Development Group Mehrdad Moayedi is behind the reinvention of this Tex-Mex spot." - Adele Chapin
