My family and I have visited Primo’s a hand full of times over the years. But it’s been a while since our last visit. Either traffic or just time not being in our favor to stop by always seemed to be in the cards. But yesterday, we were in the area and decided to stop by. It was my wife, my youngest son, and I. It must have been the time we got there that was good, because we were immediately seated. Our son wanted to sit outside in order to see the view of the lake. So that’s were we went. Our waitress came by and got our drink order and give us our menus. As we were looking a young man stopped by with our chips and salsa. For me, when I do a review of a Tex-Mex ( or Mexican) restaurant, the absolute first thing I gauge my experience on is the chips and salsa. As we were looking at the menu, I dive right into the chips and salsa. Now you may think differently, but I was not impressed. To be honest, it tasted like tomato sauce with peppers and onions thrown in with a little black pepper. The chips were not up to par as well. Not crisp and borderline stale. Now to the actual meal. My wife orders the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce and my son gets the mini corn dogs and fries. My wife loved hers as well as the rice and charro beans that came with it. My son ate his as well. Though you can’t really mess his up since the mini corn dogs and fries are most likely premade and all you need to do is throw them in the fryer. I always like to try new things on the menu when I visit a place that I’ve been before. Who knows when something will become your new favorite. I decided on the Primos Burrito. The description on the menu sounded great, but it was the photo of the finished product that sealed the deal. The waitress asked if I wanted chicken, beef, or brisket. I choose brisket because there’s nothing better than a good tex-mex brisket with all those wonderful flavors. When it arrives, it looks sooo good. I first tasted the tomatillo sauce, GREAT!! I cut into it and tasted the brisket. Super BUMMED on that. Though it was really tasty, it didn’t taste like brisket at all. It tasted like pot roast. IDK how else to describe it. Like I said, it was good. It just didn’t taste how I expected it to taste. So even though the salsa was not great and the “brisket” was not what I would call brisket, the meal as a whole warranted the star rating I gave. The meal was great and the waitress was wonderful. Maybe your experience will be different, maybe it will be the same. But I do recommend finding out for yourself.

While visiting family, I stayed in a hotel within walking distance to Primo’s. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by a very cheerful and helpful person. It was such a beautiful day, and I couldn’t decide if I wanted to dine inside the restaurant or outside by the water. Once I decided to dine inside, multiple servers passed by and offered salsa and chips. They never realized I kept declining them. But, I loved the fact they were attentive and definitely not ignored. I’m not a drinker, but because of the great specials, almost wished I were. I decided on the spinach quesadilla with chicken. It was awesome and the portion was enormous. Ended up with leftovers and placed a carryout for tortilla soup. It was delicious!! Would highly recommend this restaurant for multiple reasons. The quality of food, extensive menu options and especially the superb service from everyone. Especially, Maria who immediately greeted me at the door and the great service of my server, Ross.

Took my friend to have dinner on a lake side patio but it was too chilly so we moved inside, lol. I wish I knew the gentleman's name that made sure we were taken care of from arrival to exit but I'm sure he was a manager. Our waitress was alright but the manager made sure our experience was great so I appreciate him! My friend really liked it aside from his beer being cloudy and stale, but the food was fantastic as always! We'll definitely be back! My only complaint are the chairs outside. My friend is a big guy but the manager guy brought him a chair from inside for the few moments we spent outside. Those black wicker chairs are small and not comfortable.

Went there for the second time and the atmosphere, service, and food were absolutely perfect. The server, I think his name is Austin, gave me and my Chihuahua great service without hovering and pestering us. We were there during happy hour and the prices are really good.

Stopped here since it was by the hotel. The food was good. The salsa was okay and the menu options seemed good. I ordered the carne asada. It had good flavor, but was a little salty. The service was...acceptable. Server didn't seem like they wanted to be there, but they checked off the boxes! Just wish the vibe was a little more enthusiastic or positive. The location itself is great and the lights and decor were awesome!

I was at the bar when this lovely beautiful bartender greeted me with the most gorgeous smile and asked to take my order. I just wanted a basic frozen margarita and I can tell she made it with love. She told me her name was Lesly and she would be happy to help. She spent time and I got to know her and she is an incredible bartender. We need more people like her behind the bar. She was very helpful in terms of the drink menu and food menu. She had the best attitude and deserves a raise or promotion. I'll come back specifically for her in the future. Great hire by management.

Google
The view of the lake was nice, but the grilled chicken was super dry. Their verde sauce was just runny guacamole and their salsa tastes like store bought salsa. I will say the food was very disappointing and it was not worth the price. Also, the ceiling is leaking right when you walk in the door.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the friendly and attentive staff made me feel right at home. The customer service was exceptional - they went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was simply outstanding - every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The diverse menu offered a variety of options to suit all tastes, and each plate was a true culinary masterpiece. The patio view was absolutely breathtaking! And let's not forget about the drink prices - incredibly reasonable for such high-quality beverages. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing cocktail or a draft beer, you won't be disappointed by the fantastic selection and affordability. Overall, this restaurant exceeded all of my expectations and I can't wait to visit again. If you're looking for a place with top-notch customer service, amazing food, and fantastic drink prices, look no further - this is the perfect spot for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Food is great. But your chips are stale. Warm them up or something. Salsa could not overcome stale chips. Chips are not primo

Yelp
When we first arrived, the group of waiters and waitresses seemed uninterested in helping us. It was almost like they were drawing straws to see who got the shortest one and had to work next. Before we even sat down, we were asked what we wanted to drink. Once we got seated, we tried the chips and salsa, which were underwhelming to say the least. The chips were stale, and the salsa lacked flavor. When we finally ordered our drinks, the frozen margarita had a lake-water taste. We told the server, and she brought us an on-the-rocks margarita, which wasn't much better. We showed up on a Wednesday, knowing it was supposed to be enchilada specials. When we asked the server, she had no idea and stated she thought Wednesday was the one day without a special. Come to find out, every weekday has some form of food special. We ordered our food, and once it arrived, it was cold. The chicken in the enchiladas was impossible to cut through. Lastly, I'm not sure what the dress code is for a sit-down family Mexican restaurant, but with my child, wife, and mother, I wasn't expecting to feel like I had taken them down the street to Hooters. They need a standard for uniforms, because it is not a family-friendly environment. Disappointed, to say the least. And not to mention, as we walked out, there was a baby in a high chair stacked three high at the bar. Prior experiences were good, but this most recent visit was a disappointment--again, to say the least.

Yelp
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Or server was checking on us constantly. We sat inside because of the heat but the view of the lake was amazing.

Yelp
First time to Primo's Garland, and while I knew I shouldn't compare it to the old Primo's on McKinney Ave, I just couldn't help myself... it's no Primo's Uptown... but TBH there's just no way it could be! The food was fine, the pitcher of margs for $25 was good, and the lake breeze felt great. I almost feel like I held back that star because it can never be Primo's Uptown~ and that is where the bar is set....

Yelp
Went to see a band we like.it was an 80 mile drive. We sat at a table next to other friends. Our friends said if you want a drink go to the bar, the server is slow. I went to the bar started an order, a server asked if I was on the patio, I said yes she said she would bring it out. Shortly the drinks arrived and the margarita was in a large glass very tasty.she pointed out our server , it took him about 20 minutes to come take a food order. The food arrived quickly and was good, we ordered a second margarita, it showed up in a glass half the size of the first and not a hint of alcohol. The bill arrived and my wife paid (I usually do) it was dark so she added a tip to the 93.00 bill. This morning I looked at the receipt. They added a 20% tip prior to presenting the bill, she added another 20% because she did not notice the first tip added. The $9 margaritas were not a good deal. She is nicer than I am because I would call and ask for the second tip refund. The service was not even worth 15%( I usually tip week) If the band plays there again I will eat next door and not spend a dime here

Yelp
Great food, it came out fast. Queso was really good. Waitress was attentive, and the environment was really nice. Can't wait until the weather is nicer to have drinks on the porch overlooking the lake.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food. Great view of the lake. Back porch is where to sit on a nice day. Laid back and polite service

Yelp
Food is always excellent and the service is very friendly and attentive. I have been going here on a regular basis for years and never regretted it, whether alone or with my family. The sizzling salad is a great choice!

Yelp
Definitely not up to par tonight or maybe my rate buds have evolved or something. The two Rita's I tried were both untasty. $11 for cheese dip with a 1/4 cup of taco meat and a pool of grease sitting on top? Our server was fantastic...not her in any way shape or form. Hopefully next time will be better.

Yelp
I have nothing but good things to say about this place. We were the first ones in the door on New Year's Day and the staff was still pretty peppy. We were seated near the windows. The view of the lake was refreshing after a stressful weekend. We ordered some drinks off the brunch menu to take the edge off. My eyes were drawn to the Sunrise Mimosa which was made with champagne and only $5. It took everything in me not to buy multiples :) They also brought chips and salsa for the table. The salsa is killer and has a nice kick to it. It's not like your typical Tex- Mex restaurant with watered down salsa. I saved it to put in pretty much all of my food. If you don't like spicy, avoid it. I'll preface this by saying that I'm from the east coast so when you ask for fajita anything, it's expected that your meal comes with grilled peppers and onions. That's not the case here in Texas haha. For once though, I ordered a fajita beef taco and it had nice slices of flavorful steak and peppers and onions. 10/10! I'd drive the 30 minutes every time I crave this meal! My mom order the shrimp cocktail and said that it was pretty good. It had a nice flavor. She just wished that the shrimps were bigger. Either way, she'd try it again. Lastly, we got the chocolate cake with ice cream which was okay. It honestly just taste like a Walmart cake. Despite the dessert, the entrees were fantastic!!!!! I will be back for sure. It was worth every bit of the 30 minute drive.

Yelp
The service here was great but the food and prices were just okay. I thought $12.99 for shredded chicken nachos was pretty good but it only came with 5 large nachos and no sour cream or guac. Sopapillas were $7 for two. They do have some pretty good specials though like $2 margs and tacos on Tuesday which I'd definitely be open to checking out. The restaurant is huge with a great view of the river and plenty of seating.

Yelp
We came in here for a late lunch. The food was really good I like spicy so the salsa was spicy and chips were warm. If you don't like spicy then it might be too much for you. Where they completely lost me was service they were either completely understaffed or just not paying attention to tables. We did get a replacement basket of chips but we had to actually get up and go to the bar to request our check after waiting and standing by table looking for our waitress to get acknowledged. We finally gave up after about 10-15 min and just went to the bar to pay. Turns out our waitress was tending bar so not sure what happened? It wasn't that busy at the time however everyone was spaced out so perhaps easier to forget about customers.

E R.

Yelp
Shit server, totally disrespectful, food was disgusting, view was great. 0/10 Couldn't pay me to eat here.

S C.

Yelp
Drink was basically punch with zero alcohol. Food was average at best. I hadn't been in years and won't be returning.

Yelp
Mary Ann was amazing! Great service & amazing bartender. Food was good as well, very nice environment!

Zaria t.

Yelp
Mary Ann is the best bartender !!!! Ask for her next time ! You won't regret her service and amazing attitude
google avatar

Yelp
Outside patio is fantastic. The view and food was good. Mondays special is the catfish platter $11.00

Savannah J.

Yelp
MaryAnn was great!! Lovely to talk to & drinks were superb! I come to primos frequently and love to chat with all the girls behind the bar!

Yelp
This place is okay. However, watch your bill when you check out at the bar. My friend and I both had twice as many beers as we drink added onto our bill. We like to drink, but not 9 beers in 1 hour. Beers like Shiner Bach were $9 a bottle so yeah, too high. Asked one of the of the bar staff about it. Noone came back signed receipt and left with no resolution.. Food subpar. The bar tendresses (sp) should not let their sketchy personalities take over and mistake a customer's innibriation, as a sign for easy pickens, or otherwise, their scammy opportunity for theft of the customer's funds. These ladies are by all accounts running a theft ring because it wasn't the only time it has happened to us at this place. To mgmt.: Your business will not do well running like that so vet your help better. Word does travel as you know. Been several times to this place but sadly, won't be back. Thank you for reading the rant...it was necessary.
google avatar

Rey J.

Yelp
The patio is an awesome scene to the lake. However the patio itself was dirty, trash on the ground, tables weren't organized; you can tell either they're under staffed or poor management. The food was ok! The rice isn't homemade it's boxed rice, beans were under cooked, meat was tasty. We ordered shimrp cocktail which was very plain and sweet. The presentation of the food is sloppy. We won't be back!

Heather F.

Yelp
Great lake view on the patio. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp with carne asada....it was amazing!! Great drinks and friendly servers. Loved this place!! I'll definitely go back!!!
google avatar

Camille L.

Yelp
Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. The atmosphere and service are great, but I've had better food from smaller places. I bet the outdoor ambiance is wonderful when it's warm out.
google avatar

Christiann R.

Yelp
Sunday FUNdays!! 15 dollar bottomless mimosas with 4-5 different flavors! And they have live music on the patio too! I had a great time!

C. T.

Yelp
The food and service was pretty good. I enjoyed combo fajitas chicken and beef. Food came out quick compare to how busy they was. I will be going back this weekend.
google avatar

Kati M.

Yelp
I love primos! The atmosphere is great, it is right on the lake. There is also two bars and they are always upbeat. The food is kind of pricey, but it is delicious. The staff is very accommodating. Any time we are looking to seat many people they make it really easy. They also have a great drink menu. I love their mules!
google avatar

L B.

Yelp
Emmy was a great server on the patio tonight! Food was good as always, atmosphere on the water can't be beat. Bar service needs some help - way to long waiting on beer and drinks and there are 2 bars - help them Out!!

Barbara K.

Yelp
Food was not as ordered with prices extremely high (ex: kid meal $9 and 1/3 amount of adult meal. Aside from errors on the orders, food was badly prepared. Service was terrible. And they expected tipping in range of18% to 30%. Ambiance could have been nice but we were seated where we could barely see the lake. Won't go back.
google avatar

Anne E.

Yelp
I hate to do this but we went here on a friends recommendation. The food was some of the worst we have ever had and we are NOT picky people. We had queso - super easy right? No. We still cannot figure out what kind of cheese this was. I even like canned nacho cheese. This was so awful we left most of it there. This is not Mexican or TexMex food. There was no flavor. I tried a couple of drinks and again - maybe it was an off day because their bar was full. But they tasted terrible. It was sad because it is on the lake and that couldn't even make it worth it. Sorry to say we will pass on Primo's.
google avatar

Jillian H.

Yelp
Food was mediocre and not even made correctly according to what the menu said it was supposed to have on it. Our service was slow and we could tell our food had been sitting for awhile. The waitress put our child's food in wrong. He was suppose to get a kids meal and they just gave him a bean burrito but no rice and beans, then they proceeded to go get the rice and beans and then added another beans burrito and then asked us if they should take off the other lone bean burrito they brought at first on the bill. We were like of course take off the other bean burrito because they screwed up the order. The whole experience was just bad overall and we will not be back and won't be recommending. There were hardly any people in the restaurant, so that should be telling of what the locals think about it.

Nicole H.

Yelp
Dinner date at primos tonight was awesome, I love how you decorated your restaurant so nice. This place is always packed and very friendly staffs. I love coming back to the restaurant.

Destiny B.

Yelp
Loved the server Daniel, he does an amazing job , very good at coming back and checking up with us , he even made my date feel very special that day, food was also good ,

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend went for a nice dinner at a patio, it was our first time there and everything was good. The service, the food, the view to the lake, everything was perfect. We got the avocado and brisket enchiladas and they were delicious. We will definitely come back
google avatar

Ruthi C.

Yelp
Food is not so good :( it's a really nice place to hang with friends but wouldn't count on the food. Service is okay. But if you go to Rockwall Primos it's only for the view.
google avatar

Andrena J.

Yelp
I love Primos! Took my cousin here for her birthday. The food was great we both got the Primo Nachos. Now the only reason I'm given 3 stars is because they allowed smoking on the patio. If I had known this we would have gone somewhere else for the scenery we wanted. My cousin has health issues and cannot be around that type of environment so it was pretty disappointing. We did move to a different part of the patio which was better but then instead of just one person smoking more of them started so needless to say it was not the best experience this time around. That is on the patio. Yes we could have gone inside but we wanted the scenery of the patio for her birthday, since it had been a while since she had been able to go out. Bottom line food was great but the experience was not!
google avatar

Nathan N.

Yelp
One of my all time favorites. When the weather cooperates get a table outside. Good and drinks have always been on spot! Great place for family and friends.
google avatar

Yelp
Primo's is in a great scenic location, overlooking Lake Ray Hubbard. It's also in a very convenient location for a night out, as you can walk next door to Flying Saucer if you want to continue the evening with some drinks/darts. The service was quite good - our waitress was quick, friendly and considerate, and the manager did his duty by following up to make sure our evening was going ok. The meal was solid. We split fajitas and both the beef and chicken were made well and had solid flavor. The portions were generous, and the onions and peppers tasted fresh. The main down side of the food was that If you're a salsa person, you will be disappointed.

Yelp
For all you native Texans out there, you have come to know Tex Mex is not just a category of cuisine it's a CRAFT. If not done right, it's just merely something to fill your belly at best. Well I'm here to tell you Primos Tex-Mex Grille has honed that craft. They not only prepare the food will love, but they offer a wide variety of the four basic meats. The choices are Endless. Now... put that together was the Breathe Taking surroundings. My wife and I were fortunate to get there right in time to enjoy a nice cold front that came through. We were able to enjoy the view of Lake Hubbard, the astounding sunset and the brilliantly prepared food. I enjoyed the Quesabirrira, simply exquisite, and my wife had the Chicken Mesquite, also extremely tasty. To top it off, Arleth was one of the best servers we had in a long time. She was so caring and very attentive to us. She was also extremely helpful in selecting what to eat, very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this restaurant. If you want a nice quiet Texas weekend away. This Garland/Rowlett area is a hidden gem.
google avatar

Genie B.

Yelp
Went for brunch on a Sunday morning. They have a few options to choose from and I got the cinnamon French toast. The toast was flavorful and soft. It was good. Came with a fruit cup, potatoes and bacon. The bacon was good too, not thin and cheap tasting. The fruit cup was interesting because the cup itself is edible with cinnamon and sugar in it. The fruit was fresh and tasty too. They also have mimosas to enjoy with your meal. It was quiet in the morning. The restaurant opened at 10am and only a few people were there. All the staff seemed to get along with each other as well. The menu selection for breakfast is small but it covers most basic options for breakfast. A couple Mexican food options as well as basic regular breakfast options.
google avatar

Valencia J.

Yelp
Had brunch on a Sunday with one of my Besties. The entire front area was empty, not sure if that's normal. We dined on the patio. It was really nice setting, fresh air, looking at the water. Food and drinks were okay, nothing to rave about, but nothing bad either. Service was friendly. I would go back when it warms up again simply due to opportunity to dine outside with fresh air during COVID and the water view.

Yelp
Wife and I were in the Garland area to do some shopping at Cabelas. We were planning to eat at the inside restaurant called the Islamadora. It was closed and shuttered, so after shopping we looked for a close by spot. Wife wanted Tex-Mex we opted for Primos Tex-Mex Grille. Glad we did. We started off with drinks. I had DosXx. And had a basket of chips and salsa. Salsa is way above standard. Boldly done without that watered-down look or taste. I'd have to say it's as good as I have had. Wife wanted more salt on chips but it didn't kill the flavor. Beer was cold and served nicely. For main dish I decided the have the Carne Asada with bacon wrapped . Glad I made the choice. Meat was tender and well seasoned. The guacamole was fresh and had that slight butter taste. Beans were cooked to perfection and without that chalky dry taste. They melted in my mouth. The rice and I usually ignore it was outstanding fresh. Not one grain was hard. Only issue was the mushrooms. They felt canned and added right out of it. I would suggest portobello mushrooms to be used in future. It was not a deal breaker. We have a new goto place for Tex-Mex. Prices were outstanding as well. Server did an awesome job. Loved the scenery of Lake Hubbard. Expect me back real soon.

Yelp
I love that yelp ask me to be considerate of restaurants during COVID. That they are all trying to do their best! Well Primos was not tonight. I have been very considerate..... This was my 6th time eating at a restaurant since the start of COVID and by far it was the worst I have seen as far as the restaurant complying with COVID requirements. 75% capacity, ok let's put everyone on the patio at one bar and one room. Main dinning room empty! Went to the bar before my friends arrived neither bar tender had mask on! So no drinking for me! Went to our table the waitress never put her mask over her nose. Watched the bar to see if maybe they were just taking a breather, nope they never put a mask on. I would say 1/2 the visible staff was complying with the mask regulations. I am scared to know what was going on in the kitchen. Now let's talk about food... Queso came out with a hard layer on top. Two out of the five meals came out wrong. The waitress never seemed to fully be engaged. Tried really hard to give her the benefit of the doubt. I am sure it is and has been hard to work during COVID. But I can't help to think she just did not want to be at PRIMOS tonight. I gave it one star because the fried stuffed jalapeños where great! For a bill of $185. And the only thing great was jalapeños something is wrong.
google avatar

Markisha B.

Yelp
My order came to me wrong. Sent it back to be corrected and still came back wrong. I just wasn't going to send it back again and just decided to eat it. The worst shrimp tacos I have ever eaten in my life. How do you mess up shrimp tacos? The shrimp wasn't seasoned, so bland. Definitely won't eat here again. I'm new to Texas, I hope and pray this is not what the food is like here.

Yelp
We needed a lunch at the lake...Beautiful day on the patio. Food was good & our server, Jessica was the best.

Yelp
It was my first time dining at this restaurant so I asked our server for recommendations. He said the carne asada plate and the carne asada and shrimp plates are what he'd order. So my husband got the carne asada and shrimp plate. Here's what it came with: - Full thick piece of carne asada with melted cheese and chimichurri on top of it, cooked to his specification (medium rare). It was really good. - Seasoned rice - 2 bacon-wrapped shrimp with jalapeños - beans. The beans were flavorful and my husband liked them a lot - side of guacamole I got the carne asada and poblano plate. This came with: - Full thick piece of carne asada with melted cheese and chimichurri on top of it, cooked to my specification (medium rare). Yum! - Seasoned rice - a poblano pepper stuffed with melted cheese mushrooms and shrimp. This was grilled and had a good flavor to it, but I think I'd order it without the shrimp next time - grilled veggies Overall I liked what our server recommended and he did an excellent job of checking in on us. He was also able to make our request of a custom drink. A+ for excellent service. We also sat in the outside patio where there was a nice breeze and beautiful view.

Yelp
This place is a no-go if you're on the fence. Food is disgusting. Ordered Carne Asada and the piece of meat they cooked for me was not chewable. Long story short, Primos is gross and unless you're just going to drink, consider eating out of a random dumpster.

Yelp
We actually really love this restaurant, specifically for the patio view, However; today was so less than our usual service and dining experience. To start, this restaurant is not participating in COVID-19 Precautions. Other restaurants that we have visited had all the servers, bartenders, managers, hosts and hostesses, in masks and gloves and had a capacity limit with families seated at every other table to avoid close contact. The only precaution this restaurant was notably taking was the fact that they were not handing out food menus, however; they are still giving out drink menus. Otherwise, business has resumed as normal. We understand going out during this time is at our own risk, however; we can appreciate a restaurant that wants to keep its staff and customers safe. When we were asking one of our servers questions in regards to the menu, he kept reaching over the table to point out what he was describing on the drink menu and speaking over our already food and drinks. I had to grab the food and move it out of his way and he still wasn't picking up the hint. Furthermore; The host allowed us to pick our seating outside because there wasn't very many people out there to begin with. We chose a table closest to the water and quickly realized how relentless the birds were while trying to find crumbs that were left behind on either plates or just the ground. We moved back and I noticed how rude our server responded to the change. She seemed irritated and in a rush. She told us it was going to be that way with all of the seating options outside, no matter where we were. She had white nails with a little rainbow painted on some of them, a hat and jean shorts. When we asked for a menu she told us we were supposed to take a picture of it at the front, as they were not giving any out during the pandemic. We were not instructed to do that so she went and got one, held it in front of us as we took the picture then asked "got it?" We replied "yes" and she walked away without any further question or instruction. Our whole experience with her went this way. She came back to see if we had made up our minds on what we wanted to eat and right as I started to shake my head and say "no" she walked away not knowing one of us was actually ready to order a drink. We were finally able to order frozen "swirl" margaritas, sipped on those for a while and noticed that they were extremely watered down and had a juice like consistency. A male server walked up to our table and squatted at eye level. He told us that our original server was leaving for the day and he was going to take over. Being a former server myself, I know that the appropriate thing to do would've been for her to walk him over, introduce him as our new server and explain she was done for the day and transfer the table. This was not done and it was obvious why, because she had some sort of issue from the start. Anyway, our new server was great! He was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. He was able to suggest the quesadillas, as I was torn between two options. Our food came out and neither of us were enjoying our selection. The street tacos were made with corn tortillas and they were extremely soggy and falling apart. The meat they used had no flavor or seasoning added and it was only saved by the lime that is provided. The quesadillas were bland and cold, also very tough. The chicken was quite over done and very dry. When our new server came to check on us, we let him know that the food was not even subpar, but that it was actually quite gross and not up to standard. He told us he would find us a manager and have him right out so that we could discuss the issue. When the manager came out, he asked us specifics in regards to what was wrong with the order. When we each explained why we were not loving the food, he then explained that he never had anyone complain about the two selections and that this was a first for him. I did not care for this response as my expectations are not the same as every one else's who have also tried the food here. He took the plates and said he would revise our check. Our new server came back over and we ordered another margarita but this time with an extra shot as the first one was weak and as mentioned before.. very watered down. We drank our margaritas down and promptly left. We were very disappointed and had to relocate to another near by restaurant. Training and changes to the food need to be made quickly. It's too beautiful there for the food and service to just be subpar and boarder line rude!

Yelp
They may get you sick. They had an covid-19 outbreak and refuse to clean the restaurant properly. Employees brought it to their attention and were let go. BEWARE FOR HEALTH CONCERNS. Don't eat or drink there. UNSANITARY!!! YOU COULD GET COVID-19 there. Not a joke!!!

Yelp
The food is good but the bartenders are neglecting there co workers. They need to quit trying to be cute and getting there tips and letting the outdoor patrons wait on their drinks and food. Spoke with a manager a he was very understanding. Just hate to see staff that don't get tips because of bad service from fellow coworkers.
