Bright open space with family style seating. Easy to move around inside. A good variety of baked goods and a few hot items. My cappuccino was delightful. Two people were working and cranking out a lot of drinks without losing their smiles. Definitely a place I will revisit.

Stepped through the ornate entrance into an airy open space. Décor: modern industrial with blonde wood Scan tables—two long centered on either side of a rustic beam. Low stools create a minimalist vibe. Scan shelving curated with elegant products—from 70s-brown glassware and candles to natural wines and small serving trays (like the one they served my quiche on). White painted-brick walls disappear into raw-wood beams and ceiling. Black window frames and metal wall sconces. Food and bev: Quiche—excellent with thin, crisp flaky crust, silky custard filling with tender asparagus, and soft potato cubes. Served on a small tray with a fork. Flat white: bold espresso mousse pulled to the surface for a rich first sip. Served in a palm-sized glass. I visited Prince Coffee the other day and absolutely loved it! The space is super cute and surprisingly spacious. There’s an alley with outdoor seating, more seats right by the front door outside, and the inside is huge and cozy. Definitely one of those cafés where you can settle in and stay a while. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. I told them it was my first time, and they were so welcoming. They carry a full menu of drinks and treats, but I came specifically for coffee. I’m a true vanilla girly and always go for a vanilla latte, and let me tell you, I was blown away. They make all their syrups in house every day, and you can taste the love. My vanilla latte had the most beautiful vanilla bean flavor, smooth, creamy, and naturally sweet. None of that artificial stuff, just real, dreamy vanilla vibes. I also tried their second most popular drink, the Stroop Latte, and wow, it was a warm hug in a cup. It's made with their house made caramel and cinnamon syrup, inspired by a stroopwafel, and it seriously tasted like melted dessert. But somehow, not too sweet just balanced and cozy. Perfect for sipping slowly. I went with hot lattes that day so I could really enjoy the flavor notes, and I’m so glad I did. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu. Huge thanks to the amazing team for making my first visit feel so special 😊

I tried the extra hot cardamom latte. I believe even people who don't like mint lattes would like this. It has a moderate mint flavor with the coffee and warm milk. It's definitely different from the cafe latte with mint syrup I've had at other coffee shops. The atmosphere of the cafe is very nice and there are clean restrooms inside. The line for ordering is sometimes long, but it's enough time to think about the menu. (There are so many attractive options 😋) I'll get there again to try other menus.

This coffee shop has such a good vibe—neat, minimal, yet perfectly cozy. The coffee is truly amazing; if I had a dime for every time I brought a friend here and they said it’s the best coffee they’ve ever had, I’d be rich by now. The flavor is deep and rich, and the pastries are fresh and delicious. They also serve wine and small bites for any time of day. It’s quiet enough to work, with just the right touch of background music. A great spot for meeting friends, gatherings big or small, or working alone. Everyone’s friendly, and everything feels high-quality.

Great real matcha and coffee, and the vibe and music here are amazing! Added perk: loving their cups, they’re perfect. It’s one of the few coffee shops open late, which is rare in Portland. This place is a favorite and a regular spot for me. Highly recommend!

Tired their Stroop Latte iced, nothing special. Maybe better hot. But still great service and pretty location.

5. Beautiful coffee shop and wine bar with a great vibe and friendly service. We came early on a Sunday morning with babies and they were super friendly and lovely. The space is big and open with a large display of items for purchase. The drink selection was big - with lots of specialty lattes. Lots of baked goodies- with some vegan options. Some of the baked goods are not made in-house but get delivered from specialty bakeries.

Cute coffee shop located just outside of the Pearl district! Inside the space is bright and open, and is especially nice on a sunny day. There's plenty of seating and spaces to study/do work either alone or with a friend. Service is nice and quick. I came here and got a latte and an americano and the coffee was nice. I also got a quick bite by getting the Sweetheart breakfast sandwich and it was a great size! Overall, great coffee shop for getting some work done or catching up with a friend!

Stopped into Princess Coffee today Had an Orange Blossom Mocha , it was excellent. Nice ambience , bright, clean , service was great and they were busy . Interesting flavor profiles on their coffee selection too, fun choices . If in that area , recommend them for a "coffee break"

The first thing that came to my mind when I walked into this shop was charisma. It's inviting, comforting, and the coffee will leave you speechless. Their current offerings are Heart and DAK, and with DAK being one of my favorites from Amsterdam I couldn't say no to some espresso. They had many pastry offerings and opted in for a sticky bun which was dummy delish. Along the walls was an insane natural wine selection, along with other goodies like pulsar drippers, soul chai, and other coffee/ tea related products. The atmosphere was very bright, baristas were very friendly, had lots of seating, and a poppin playlist. Highly recommend if you love light roasts and need a comforting place to relax.

Such a cute spot. Very small inside but on a sunny day the outdoor seating is great. I love that they have fun latte options.

Prince Coffee is a quaint coffee shop with a Dutch influenced menu. I love their simple teal aesthetic accompanied by wood accents. I ordered the Anijsmelk Latte which has star anise syrup and topped with grated nutmeg. I like that the syrup didn't make the drink too sweet but instead added more of a warmth to the coffee with the spice flavor. I also tried the Maple Scone and it was delicious. It seemed like they used a whole wheat flour or incorporated some grains because it had that type of texture. It was definitely healthier than your standard scone. I recommend stopping in here if you're in the area!

We stopped here on one of our Northwest Portland outing for coffee and a bite to eat. Their place is nicely designed and full of sun from the skylight and large panel windows. The staff was friendly, service was great with employees that seem to truly care about you and the drinks and food are yummy. The beverages were tasty and had great flavor. The Sweetheart Breakfast sandwich was served hot and it was flavorful and yummy. The Chia Pudding was very unique, but tasted delicious. We have not been to the other location on the east side, but now have an excuse to visit them as well.

A cozy little cafe with minimalist, but beautiful interiors and decor. My husband and I were looking to hang out at a coffee shop on a Sunday evening and fortunately, Prince Coffee was open until 8 PM. There aren't a lot of coffee shops open this late, so we were thankful to have found Prince Coffee. I ordered the GOLDEN MILK and substituted the milk with soy. It was delicious, like a warm hug, and was the perfect evening drink. There are only a few seats inside. I can definitely see myself bringing my work here at another time as there are plenty of plugs all around. The baristas were super friendly. Will definitely be back!

Really aesthetically pleasing local coffee shop! I came in close to closing so no lines at all and got to sit down and enjoy the space. It's super warm and inviting and I would recommend ordering the STROOP LATTE which is one of their most popular. The latte had a nice and deep flavor that was perfect to enjoy walking around the area. I have to try the pistachio latte my next visit but their menu has some unique flavors you don't see often which is great to differentiate them!

Prince Coffee is a true gem, and I can't say enough good things about their beverages. First up, the Stroopwaffle Latte - it's nothing short of unique. What's even more impressive is that my partner, who isn't a fan of cinnamon, absolutely loved it. We made a slight mistake by only ordering one, and we're definitely getting two next time. The blend of flavors in this latte is something to savor. Now, let's talk about their brewed coffee. It's an absolute delight for those who appreciate a clear cup of coffee that's perfectly balanced and devoid of bitterness. Every sip is a reminder of what good coffee should taste like. I'm so impressed that I plan to order their beans from now on. If you're in the mood for extraordinary coffee experiences, Prince Coffee is the place to be. Five stars, no doubt.

Amazing drinks in a light and clean space, perfect to spend a morning working from here. Their cardamom latte was so good; lightly sweet with warm spices (chai vibes), and even though I got this decaf it was just as fragrant as regularly caffeinated beans imo. Breakfast sandwiches are also fresh and tasty - small, but reasonable for the price. I've also tried their matcha which is excellent. Will be one of my go-tos in the neighborhood!

Cute place in a quaint plaza with shops and beauty services. Alternative milks like almond, oat, and coconut. Lattes with flavors like cardamom, pistachio, or star anise. High quality coffee and maybe the best breakfast sandwich in town. Simple, but high quality ingredients - a fluffy egg and thick, good ham. Service was good. Everyone was friendly. The only downside is that other people know about this place and it has a small seating area.

Prince Coffee just opened their second location in Portland and it is beautiful! There is plenty of well-lit seating with all of the large windows letting in natural light. The baristas are awesome and the coffee tastes amazing. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to drop by and grab a cup of coffee while running errands, come to study, or catch up with a friend.

The stroopwaffel and latte were great and I loved the physical environment. I did get a bored and unenthusiastic impression from the baristas which detracted from the experience.

This is an airy and inviting space. I got the cardamom latte with skim milk (they only have that and whole, so I decided to be good) and it was amazingly creamy, didn't miss the fat at all! And it was not super sweet, which I think is a good thing. I got the cashew pesto breakfast sandwich, and it was just what I wanted, a soft, pillowy savory delight. It came out super fast, too! It was really hopping on a Sunday morning!

Good coffee and nice ambiance. It would be better if they had simple syrup or bulk sugar to add to your coffee. As it is, they only offer sugar packets, which tend to create more waste. Most of the top-notch Portland coffee shops have simple syrup on hand; not sure why they can't.

The cutest spot! Opened in January, and the second location of Prince. Street parking is easy and the staff is extraordinarily kind. They have a specialty latte menu that is extensive; this season there is a stroopwaffle flavored latte and peppermint mocha! Their kids drinks are ideal temp and they have bench seating that is cozy for everyone. Stroop latte is delicious! It's sweet, caramels, smooth and came in a beautiful glass. The vanilla latte was beautiful as well! We split a breakfast sandwich with egg, mustard, ham, cheese, arugula and an English muffin. It was tasty and perfect for us to split while enjoying our coffees! Our little guy had a kids cocoa and enjoyed it tremendously. Oh! And if you read something about their stroop waffles made in house, this location doesn't do them and apparently neither does the first one, the owner stopped making them when they became allergic to the flour! Can't wait to come back.

Stroup Waffle Latte is good, sweet, but good. Place was chill and everyone was nice. Vanilla Latte was good too. No soy milk, which was a bit of a bummer (almond or oatmilk, better than nothing), but otherwise a cool spot with good coffee. Went here a couple times during a recent trip to Portland.

Ambiance is chill and nice with tons of wine options and other local things but coffee is alright and the person who took our order/gave us our coffee was super rude. Made our whole experience not satisfying and great at all.

This is definitely a Portland stable for coffee and all the drinks were great but it is a little pricier than I would have liked. That being said, I would definitely come at least once if you're visiting and there is plenty of space and a really nice atmosphere and ambiance to get some work done or catch up with friends. Really appreciated the great service and attitude from the staff here

Obsessed with the strop latte!!! It's just perfect!! The service is fast and kind. The whole place is just a chill vibe! Great place to grab a coffe or a drink and enjoy the space!

There are 6 small tables and one shared table inside. The Stroop and vanilla latte are both pretty bomb. Not that impressed with their pastries. The pastries come from Bake Shop and we got chocolate croissant and banana muffin. The muffin was pretty fudgy and the croissant was a bit sad. They offer free wifi so it's a great little spot to get some work done or just hang out. I'd definitely stop by again to get the stroop latte!

Quick great coffee around the neighborhood. Only a few seats inside, best for a party of 3 or less. Still a great spot to get some work done since the spaces are better for smaller groups. Cashew Pesto Breakfast Sandwich was a good. You couldn't really taste the cashew in it but the texture is there. Not as filling as I'd hope since it's just an egg. But for the cost, it was reasonable.

went to their newest location and i am sooo happy with my experience. i got the stroop latte (literally sooooo good and i'll be craving for days) and the romesco breakfast sammie! the barista and staff were super friendly. individual seating was all taken (it's not super large) but they have a communal table with 4 chairs. they also have cute merchandise from various vendors. will def be back and frequent here!

Mostly come here to grab a cofffee to-go but finally came to sit and enjoy a cup. The coffee is consistent and smooth. There are various sizes available for all types of coffee. They usually have specialty drinks available as well. They also have food options available for those wanting a small brunch option. There is limited small seating, although I was able to find a spot to sit coming earlier in the morning. By 9am, it was busy and there was a longer line. Really enjoyed the space, although the seating is mostly bench space so not a lot of back support. They also have some wines, coffee equipment available for purchase.

I think their coffee and pastries are delicious. The workers are friendly. Probably one of my favorite places to get a latte. However, I know it's a small cafe and there is limited seating, but I wish they would do something about the laptop squatters. There's been multiple times where I've walked by only to see that literally every single seat and table has been taken by someone on their laptop. I've had to get stuff to go a couple times with a friend because there was nowhere to sit and I've avoided going back since. Digital nomads really ought to respect third spaces.

I stopped by for the first time and I am definitely adding this to my must go here in Portland. I ordered the iced stroop latte (w/ oat milk) and absolutely enjoyed it. The space was great, several tables and awesome music playing! I forgot to ask the baristas name but the service was wonderful and another reason why I'll be going back. Also! I really liked the cups they use and sell too!

One of the best lattes I've had in Portland. It can get pretty busy and seating is usually limited. Highly recommend still.

Why ask me what size of drink I like , charge me for a LARGE and give me the SMALLEST drink !!!!!!!! Sam , was the front register girl who we encountered today while checking this place out for first time . Once they called our drink , I confirmed with her ; " Did I not order 16 oz?" She replied , " yeah I messed up " and just walked away and continued helping next customer! No " I'm sorry" , no " let me make you a new one" Very ignorant! Not sure why the owner would want someone lik e that be the front of their business, absolutely no customer service ! Hopefully with enough negative reviews owner can start training these people or paying for ones that know these basics!

this quaint little coffee shop was perfect for an overcast saturday morning to catch up on work i'd put off. the staff was a constant source of joy and laughter, which made it extra easy to power through what i had to get done. i ordered the hazelnut coffee, which was smooth and creamy with oat milk, not too sweet. just how i like it

I never post reviews but I was met with the most rude customer service and mediocre coffee at this cafe that I felt I needed to share. We were happy to find the a coffee shop i've been wanting to visit was open for Christmas. However, it was clear that the barista was less than happy to be there. Which I understand, no one wants to work on Christmas but he was so rude and unfriendly. He answered my questions with one word, unhelpful answers in the most quiet annoyed tone. I sure hope he's much friendlier on non-holidays because sheesh. To top it all off, my $6+ tiny coffee was not good whatsoever. No peppermint flavor at all, it was bland and honestly gross. Unfortunate that I was so excited to visit this cafe but probably will not be returning to this location.

The overall space was great, but the food and coffee were subpar. I wanted to love it, but it fell short.

Such a fun, new space to socialize or work! The environment is clean and aesthetically pleasing without trying too hard. It's roomy and is great for hanging with friends or just getting some work done on your own! Love their food selection, coffee is always on point, GREAT customer service, and all around great! Also, the merch they sell is great for gifts! Plus who wouldn't love the transition to wine offerings in the evening?? Can't recommend it enough!

Very cute little coffee shop on a cute little corner. I visited due to following someone on social media that frequents here and I can understand why they do. I ordered a standard 16oz iced latte with oat milk and it was pretty tasty, I'm unsure of what coffee they use for the espresso but they sell Heart and Proud Mary beans on their selves so you know they have good taste. My interaction with the cashier was brief but the staff seemed smiley and very polite. It was a single room, seating wise but had a standard amount of tables and chairs. I plan on returning :) oh also parking was good! I'm sure it depends on the time & day but there was plenty of spots.

Real cute spot! Came on a weekday around noon and it wasn't too busy. I got the stroop latte, super delicious. Their music taste is great which is always a plus when working.

For years now I have been coming into Prince (both locations), and not only enjoying the incredible coffee, foods, and service - but mostly the wonderful individuals Katie always manages to bring in. Everyone I've ever encountered working for Prince, has always been nothing short of warm, incredibly friendly, and genuine. They work hard from the moment the doors open, till the last minute of the day. I know this because over the last 6 years I have chosen Prince for countless meetings with my clients, and a staple in the Portland experience when friends and family come to visit. There is no shop in the Portland area that holds both this level of kindness and care as well as quality in service, like Prince does.

To save you the trouble, l'll make this review short.... The spot was very modern and clean 5 out of 5! The quality of the latte (We got an iced one and a hot one too ) I would give it 4.5 out of 5. The only thing they really dropped the ball on was hiring someone who apparently has no experience in customer service. We placed our order, it was two 16oz lattes. The lady named Sam was the one who took the order. She mistakenly told the barista that one of the drinks is a 12oz. After we grab our drinks, we approached her to let her know about the mistake. She confirmed that we both did order a 16oz, and proceeded to take other customers orders. I'm usually very chill about these kind of mistakes. But honestly the way she reacted made this review not to great. She really could have handled that better, the place wasn't even terribly busy. I would give this place another chance and maybe my review changes.

All Prince locations have always been my favorite. There's a strong community feel around Prince and the coffee and food are 10/10. You can tell Katie, the owner, and all of her employees really care and pour so much love into this cute little neighborhood shop. If you're in Portland, Prince is a must visit.

I absolutely love this coffee shop!! From the quality coffee drinks, to the tasty breakfast sandwiches (honestly, maybe my favorite in Portland!), to the nicest baristas- this place is a MUST visit when you're in Portland!
