Yelp
Ohhhh y'all... let me tell you about the kind of meal that snatches your soul before you can even think about taking a picture or checking in on Yelp. I'm talkin' blink and the plate's empty, phone untouched, edges gone because Prince Pizza does not play fair.
Now, I've been going to Prince since I was knee-high to a ravioli, and baby let me tell you, I was raised right. It's giving "Sunday dinner but make it Italian excellence." This spot is pure mom-and-pop magic, and I'm talkin' real Italian comfort food: the gravy (yes, we call it that around here ), the portions, the flavor are consistent.
Let's break down what the table looked like today, even though you'll just have to trust me because not a single photo made it out alive :
* Garlic bread so good I almost threw hands over the last piece. Literally.
* Caesar salad, because balance baby balance.
* Ravioli smothered in bolognese instead of the usual noodles because I make executive important decisions at late lunch/dinner.
* Lasagna that layered its way into my husband's heart. The plate was CLEAN.
* Meatballs that taste like someone's Nonna made them just for me.
* And a side of Alfredo to swirl into everything because... IYKYK and if you don't, go find out.
And now, drumroll for the real MVP...Glendy (or Glendie if you're family... which apparently we have to be). This young woman is a whole experience. She kept our cups filled like she was training for a hydration Olympics, cleared our plates like a dinner ninja, and delivered top-tier service with the kind of warmth that makes you wanna invite her to the cookout and your next birthday dinner. I'm picky, like, Yelp-Elite picky and she passed the vibe check with flying garlic bread.
I live in West Roxbury and yes, I would gladly put gas in the tank just to get Glendy's section again. Prince Pizza, y'all are the real deal. Thank you for being a place where the food is always fire, and the people treat you like family no matter your race, background, or whether you call it sauce or gravy.
See you soon, cousins. Don't start without me!!!
