Been living in Istanbul for almost 4 years now. I have heard about this place a while ago never had a chance to visit. But my friends and I were amazed at how well everything was thought of. Here is my review;||An Island Escape to Remember: A Stay at Princes’ Palace Hotel, Büyükada||If you’re seeking a blend of timeless charm, island serenity, and modern comfort, Princes’ Palace Hotel in Büyükada is a true gem. Nestled among the historic mansions and pine-covered hills of Istanbul’s most elegant island, this boutique hotel offers more than just a place to stay — it offers an experience.||From the moment you step into the Princes’ Palace Hotel, you’re greeted with warmth and understated luxury. The architecture gracefully reflects the classical elegance of Büyükada, with its white-washed facade, shuttered windows, and peaceful garden terrace. Inside, each room is thoughtfully curated — airy, tastefully decorated, and filled with natural light. Many boast stunning views of the Sea of Marmara or the island’s lush greenery.||Service here is top-notch: attentive yet never intrusive. The staff are multilingual, genuinely hospitable, and always ready to help arrange a bicycle rental, horse-drawn carriage tour, or simply recommend a local seafood restaurant by the shore.||The breakfast is a highlight in itself — a lavish spread of Turkish and continental options served on the terrace overlooking the sea. Homemade jams, fresh pastries, seasonal fruits, olives, and cheeses — all of it fresh, flavorful, and locally sourced.||What sets Princes’ Palace apart is its ability to capture the essence of Büyükada — slow mornings, unhurried afternoons, and tranquil evenings. Whether you’re reading a book under a fig tree, watching the sunset from your balcony, or listening to the distant clatter of horse hooves on cobbled streets, everything about the stay feels like a peaceful escape from modern life with a bedroom view to die for.
