The absolutely best viewpoint in Kosovo! The full view of Prizren and the the mountain in the background together seems magical after witnessing it in person. It's actually just a 20 minute hike to get up there via Prizren old town. However, the path towards it is very steep. The views along the way up is also amazing! The entrance into the fortress is free. It's grounds are also quite well-maintained, relatively clean, and have some basic facilities. Definitely a must do in Prizren!

Quiet steep, and some slippery. So be careful gojng up. The walkway quiet hidden, near mosque. u can ask the local to show way. Cant bring car up as its too steep. Can park opposite the old bridge near hotels. Beautiful snowy mountain view from the top

15 minutes uphill walk is quite steep. But you will be rewarded with a nice view.Further up there’s a restaurant/cafe. Tractor can take you there with 1,5€. Good place to rest.

Great view. Short walk up. Yes it’s steep but stay on the side of the flat stone where it’s not so slippery. Wear good shoes.

Absolutely gorgeous fortress overlooking the aesthetically pleasing Prizren, Kosovo. Spend an hour or two and appreciate the splendour. Takes 15-20 minutes walking up. Well worth the effort. Don’t miss out on the number one attraction in Prizren. And it’s free.

An absolute must when in Prizren! If there's only one thing you do, then go to the fortress. The views are stunning! The 'quicker' path is very steep! I can't imagine what this would be like when it's raining - I imagine very slippery. We walked back down the long path (took about 1 hour 15). This was much more gentle going down. Views are incredible, and there's a little museum up there also. Free to visit.

About a kilometre walk up hill from centre of city. Path has been newly constructed and is good! Steep in some places. Great views from top! Wear sunscreen and do the environment a favour, pick up some trash along the way.

A rather empty fortress with a lot of ongoing construction work. There is a small museum under reconstruction too. We were asked to pay 5 Euros to see a small room that was open but we passed the offer. The views are indeed pretty nice, but it would have been much nicer if they added a few seats with a shade both on the fortress and en route to it. We saw many very old tourists and it just becomes a chore for them to do this trek.
