Amazing experience especially with our server Brendan. He was attentive, made suggestions from the menu and was always swinging by to check on anything we needed. Definitely returning for the delicious Brussel Sprouts and Truffle Fries! Good vibes all the way around!Also, the theme for this Brunch was Drake and they nailed it! He's my favorite so I knew I had to be there! Thank you for making it enjoyable!

Every part of this experience was top tier. The friendly and engaging bar staff kept me entertained and relaxed as I was there alone. The Markers Mark espresso martini was 10/10 in creation and taste as was the second drink was like eating a sweet/tart candy made with tequila. The mushroom and pepper tacos were so tasty and I could have easily eaten more...but didn't ;-)

Ordered the Chicken and Waffles after spending the day at the Mission Inn for the Can Am car show. Sent the dirty water glass back for a clean one. Had to ask for a place setting after the the food sat for 5 or 10. Then finally started to eat and found a WORM IN MY WAFFLE.

Love this place, the food here is amazing so was the staff. The patio view overlooked the neat old buildings. Salad with steak and a lavender crème brûlée cocktail. Just had one it was really fun. Highly recommended!

Went for the new years dinner ($75 per person plus drinks). It was upsetting that no where on the menu they specify they charge 20% gratuity fee (I tried to argue that we were only 2 people, not a "large party" and the waitress said that they charge gratitude to everyone on new years eve) plus a 3% service fee... Ended up paying about $260+ for dinner for 2 I did enjoy the food, service, and entertainment. It is just so unfair and unethical they didn't clearly posted on there menu. Note: the $50 discount is the money we paid ahead to make the dinner reservation through Open Table.

Lots of variety in the menu. Full bar with lots of wine and cocktail concoctions. Service need to pay more attention to customer needs. Expect a sports bar atmosphere.

Just had an awesome experience at Probation in downtown Riverside. The whole place has a cool, chill vibe and the crew working there is amazing. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles and made to feel welcome. Our server was incredible and took great care of us the entire night. I started with the grilled shrimp appetizer — absolutely delicious. The flavor was spot on, and the sauce had a perfect little kick to it. For my main course, I had the Chilean sea bass, and it was cooked perfectly. I paired everything with two delicious old fashioned cocktails that hit the spot. My wife had the butternut squash ravioli along with two margaritas, and she loved every bite. For dessert, I went with the butter cake (perfect choice), and she had the apple pie. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Great food, great service, and a super relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

Took my wife for Valentines day. I made our reservations 2 week ahead of the date for an inside table because I figured it'd be a bit cold that day. However we were seated outside on the patio. Ordered my $85 ribeye and veggie plate medium rare. The entire plate arrived cold to the touch. Still got hit with 20% gratuity and 3% service fee. The sax player was cool though.

My wife and I were looking for something new when we got up on this Sunday 11-16-25 and discovered ProAbition. We did what we have done many times wear she gets out and checks it out and gives thumbs up if it looks promising. She gave me 2 thumbs up. Next thing I know the owner JD helps us park car because I am a bit challenged walking long distances. Go inside and everyone of the staff were just as kinds and helpful as JD. Food and ambience was 5 stars. It was worth every penny we spent. The final kicker was JD bringing our car up to the front door. If you are looking for a good meal great drinks and wonderful surroundings this is it. We will go back definitely. Les Randolph

My fiancé & I decided last minute we wanted to go out for dinner. When I looked up ProAbition it said something about a Sinatra night. We decided to make a reservation and see what's going on. I've only been here once a couple years ago for brunch & I wasn't a huge fan. I'll definitely say that coming here for dinner redeemed this spot for me. Upon arriving, we were seated soon after our reservation time. It was definitely a vibe inside, kind of moody looking with cute Halloween decor. There was a Frank Sinatra singer. Honestly such a vibe. We ordered drinks (old fashioned & espresso martini). Both were great & we got truffle fries as an appetizer. For our entrees, I ordered the spicy rigatoni pasta and my fiancé got some kind of chicken & mashed potatoes plate (forgot the name). My pasta was delicious, the sauce flavor was just so yummy. I even tried a piece of my fiancé chicken and I loved it. The mashed potatoes from his were nice and creamy. I loved my pasta but I think I'd definitely order his plate next time. On top of just excellent service & good food, we were also able to enjoy a great show. He had such a good voice and really engaged with the guests! He mentioned he was coming back in November so I will definitely be back for dinner with my fiancé. Such a great date night experience & I' so glad we came for dinner. :)

I've been to Prohibition in Riverside once or twice before and was never overly impressed, but I decided to give it another try since I was in the mood for a steak. I eat often at places like Duane's and Craftz Lounge, so I was hoping for something comparable. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. It was a chilly evening, and I wasn't asked whether I preferred indoor or outdoor seating -- the host just placed me outside, which wasn't ideal. I ordered the filet mignon, and while it was okay, the quality didn't measure up to other steakhouses in the area. The biggest letdown, though, was the vegetables. I received two pieces of carrot -- one fresh and well-cooked, the other touch undercooked and unpleasant -- and the broccolini was the same story: a few decent pieces mixed with some that were clearly past their prime. At this point, I couldn't recommend Prohibition based on this visit. I may give it one more try in the future to see if this was just an off night or a sign of a larger consistency issue only because their ambiance and cocktails were decent.

What a lively brunch spot to check out! If you're not enjoying the yummy food they have to offer, you're dancing to the DJ beats they got blasting hahaha. I truly wonder what this place looks like at nighttime. I went with a party of 4 and ordered the pulled pork eggs benedict. It was flavorful and definitely something that I would order again if I went back. It was a nice option for the benedict as I haven't seen this offered at other brunch spots. Staff are friendly, however, could have been more attentive. It was difficult to get a hold of our waitress at times. What's really neat is they have staff coming around with a professional camera taking photos. They then develop them and place it into a cute frame for you to keep! I can't remember off the top of my head but I believe the range was $10-20 for the framed picture.

Social media absolutely captured me for the drake brunch. I am a certified lover girl so I was excited to see what proabitions idea of a "champagne papi" brunch. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised! I could hear the Drake music blaring as I was walking up the street. I knew off the bat it was going to be a good time. They had a cool Drizzy photo opp at the front and provided free photos which was a really nice touch. The hostess was really kind and seated us immediately. Heads up reservations are a must for this event! So follow their IG for dates. Otherwise, once we were seated we were given a Drake themed menu. Absolutely ICONIC! I wanted to order all the drinks! The only thing that fell short was the service. Our drinks took forever to arrive. Although we placed our drink order first they came after our food. Had to remind our server once our food arrived where our spritz tree was. We also ordered two shots for $26. Our server completely forgot and we had to also remind her again after we ate and finished everything. Once we got the shots we asked for the bill and she charged us for 4 shots. Thank goodness my friend checked the bill as I was about to pay it. Overall, a great idea and the vibes are definitely there just service needs to be a bit better.

OMG look on further. If you are in Riverside this is the place to eat. The food and drinks are amazing and very tasteful. The service is top notch! The restaurant is very clean and inviting!

We were trying to figure out what we wanted to eat and so headed downtown Riverside and as we were walking around, we came up on prohibition. It was lively, so we thought let's come in and get something to eat. Service was great up into a certain point, and after that things went downhill, I ordered the chicken and waffles. My daughter ordered the chiliquiles. The chicken and waffles arrived to the table cold and when I asked for warm syrup so that I could, it could melt the butter. It took 10 minutes and me asking twice before I got it by then I was over it because the food was even colder by that time. The vibe in the atmosphere is great just the service and the food we're not up to par I did order a drink, which was a Mojito, but it was made so poorly. I had to send it back. I feel like if you can't make a cocktail then you shouldn't have it on the menu or say that you can't make It.

Proabition is a great spot to get dinner and cocktails, whether it's a date night at the bar or large parties. This place is extremely accommodating and has great ambience, including Djs during late night weekend dining. This is a great spot to grab dinner! All the pasta dishes are amazing, although i particularly enjoy the spicy vodka. The sweet chili wings are really tasty too, and don't forget to order the brussel sprouts (my fav) :)

Always a hit! Brunch here is chef's kiss -- food is excellent every time, the DJ keeps the vibe unmatched, and bottomless mimosas are a mustt. Perfectly located across the Mission Inn in the heart of downtown, with plenty to see and do after. Don't miss out!

They do not have happy hour during the holiday season. The restaurant is very nice, but it smelled like strong cleaner. I got the sliders and they were extremely basic and small. You could tell they do not make them fresh there. Service was fine, not the best not the worst.

Stopped by Probation on a Wednesday afternoon for happy hour and had a good experience. We grabbed seats at the bar and ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts and fried prawns from their happy hour menu -- both were great! The prawns were a touch on the sweet side, but still really tasty. I also had the Probation margarita, which hit the spot. Overall, a very pleasant visit with great flavors and solid drink options. Strongly recommend checking out their happy hour!

Sighs if I could have just forfeited my deposit I would have if I had known ... It pains my heart to write this, because my first visit here for brunch was a whole vibe. That's why, as a birthday gift to myself, I signed up for the Murder Mystery Dinner on September 19, 2025--a bucket list experience I'd looked forward to for years. Womp, womp. The ad promised $65 per person with a $50 deposit applied toward a three-course meal. What we got was nothing close. A spinach salad drowning in salty vinaigrette , a dreadful steak--thin, fatty, over-seasoned--with onions half raw, half caramelized and tough . Then the bill came. Instead of $130 plus tip for two, we were hit with a $35 "large party" fee (even though we were just two people, they lumped all guests as one party), a 3% food cost escalation fee, and still expected to tip. After the deposit, we walked out paying $187--for food that was simply rubbish. This was supposed to be a celebration. Instead, it was a gut punch to my purse unexpectedly , upsetting, and ruined what should've been a special night. If you're going to tack on all these extra fees, be upfront about it in the advertisement. This felt misleading, unfair, and I will never return.

Ordered risotto with chicken. The menu said adding chicken would cost $8. They charged $10. $45 for risotto that was garlicky soggy rice. The blob of ricotta on top was dry and cold. Didn't like. Iced tea was good. Service was decent except the food did take a bit long to come out. It was a Wednesday night, so probably working with a smaller crew. Food was priced way too high for the quality. Won't be back.

Tried the brunch for the first time and the food was amazing, drinks were perfect and everyone was very kind and attentive. I want to thank JD for the great service and suggestions! Also very aesthetic, definitely a must try in riverside.

Overall, good dining experience! Saturday night and was able to walk right up and be seated. We chose to sit inside, because we love the vibe and ambience. My friend ordered the Lobster Ravioli, along with a glass of Chardonnay and an Extra Dirty Martini. She was well pleased with it all. I ordered the Spinach & Mushroom Risotto, along with the Margarita Mocktail. First of all, it had to be one of the best cocktails I have had! So tasty that I almost forgot there was no alcohol in it.:) Next step, the risotto was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, it was saltier than I would have liked; but honestly, it did not stop me from cleaning the bowl and wishing I had a half serving more!

I was ready for our monthly friends' brunch, so I headed out to visit a friend in Riverside. We went to a great spot called ProAbition (yes, with a capital A!) and made reservations--which I highly recommend, especially for brunch. We went on an 80s-themed brunch day, with non-stop 80s hits playing from open until 3 PM. Yes, I'm old school and yes, I love the 80s--please don't judge me! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive. We were seated promptly and felt well taken care of. The indoor dining area is spacious, with tables that can accommodate up to 15 guests. There's also a generous patio area, and the bar is impressively long--seating about 20 people. They also host private events. Sidenote for the ladies: the bar has purse hooks, which is such a thoughtful touch! And if you can't find one or need help with it, the staff is more than happy to assist. Now onto the drinks and food! Their signature cocktails are fantastic. I had the Lavender Lemon Drop--perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with just the right hint of lavender. My friend ordered the Monster -a hearty breakfast plate with excellent potatoes. You can add additional eggs if you'd like. I went for the Brussels sprouts, expecting a small appetizer portion, but they came out in a massive bowl--definitely shareable or enough to fill you up on their own. The space also offers lots of great photo ops, including a fun Instagram mirror. One small downside: the restroom area is tiny--only two stalls--so expect a line. Also, be aware that parking nearby can be pricey and limited. Some lots charge up to $30, so plan accordingly and wear comfy shoes for a little walk. Overall, the music was amazing, the vibe was fun, and I highly recommend checking it out!

Came here for Drake brunch and was so happy when I found out the food was also delicious! Get the wings and the Caesar salad and grab a drink because they're all well done. Lots of street parking and parking structure, great music and vibes

First of all A+ for ambiance. Second of all I love the edits on the wall. Most importantly the food and drinks. Happy hour is amazing here, one of our guests had the steak tacos and it is truly enough for a meal. I had the Nash like hit chicken sandwich. Don't freak, it's pleasantly hot not crazy, but look at the piece of chicken?!! Monster and yummy. Filet mignon delivered as did the salad ordered and burger. The craft drinks satisfied and our server Brendan was very nice and helpful with all menu items. Rather uncrowded but we came in at an early hour midweek. This is a keeper in our memory banks to try once again.

Very delicious food but the staff could have been more attentive. We got to our table and waited about 15 minutes just to get a water. It wasn't super busy but our section was full, granted. I love downtown Riverside! And proAbition has always been on my list to try. The inside looks extremely nice!

Heads up! This restaurant charges a service fee, so keep that in mind when adding a tip. We ate here on Saturday, 11/29, before heading to the Festival of Lights at the Mission Inn. We arrived around 5pm and were seated fairly quickly on the patio. We started with the Hamachi Crudo. The flavor was good, but the slices were very thin, and for $21, the portion felt small for the price. My husband and I ordered the Jalisco Disco, which we enjoyed. The drinks were $16 each, and we had two. Our daughter ordered the On the Beach mocktail and said it was just "okay." We ordered two wedge salads, which needed more dressing. For our main courses, my husband had the Classic Cali Burger, I had the Roasted Chicken, one daughter had the Lobster Ravioli, and our other daughter had the Whiskey Glazed King Salmon. For dessert, we shared the butter cake. The sauce for the Roasted Chicken was excellent and really helped elevate the otherwise dry chicken. My hubby liked his Cali Burger. My daughter who ordered the Lobster Ravioli really loved the sauce. And as for the Whiskey Glazed King Salmon, my daughter said it was yummy. Overall, the food was good but on the pricier side, and the appetizer portion was smaller than expected. The service was average; our waitress forgot to bring our drinks and we had to remind her, as well as ask for drink refills. In summary: PROS -Seated quickly (only because we arrived early but still a PRO) -Cocktails delicious -Food flavorful CONS -Service fee added to the bill -Hamachi Crudo portion was very small for the price -Wedge salad needed more dressing -Service was only average - waitress forgot drinks and refills -Roasted Chicken was dry but the sauce saved the meal -Eating here is not cheap

Came here for drinks. Very relaxing speakeasy vibe. The first night, Francesco made amazing drinks and was very accommodating to my work colleagues and I. We came back for the 2nd night for drinks after dinner at another location near by. Drinks are reasonable, however, I am from the northeast and was in town for the week on business. Food is pricey but the atmosphere is amazing! Very relaxing jazz music. There are tv's at the bar so you can watch games. If I am back in town, I will be back. Several shops around which is good to walk to before or after.

Food was great .. after we got it! Somehow one of our meals was left out!!! That being said apologies were made and they comped the meal that came late as well as a dessert. Good service otherwise but hey mistakes happen. They owned it and made good on it. Will definitely come back!

Great for drinks, creative mix and fun names. Food was ok, not going to knock your socks off. The restaurant has an upbeat vibe, staff are friendly but some appear overworked and left us asking for forks and water three times before we get service. Overall, if you go on a weekday when they are super busy, this is a good option for Main Street. The menu offers a fair numbers of proteins, fish (sea bass) and salads. Limited dessert options, there were 3 listed on the menu. Lava cakes was moist and had an intense dark chocolate taste. Yuzu cheesecake was soft like whipped cream cheese and the yuzu flavor was a just perfect to complement the cream cheese, lemon zest taste but not tart.

We had the absolute best experience at ProAbition! From the very beginning, Tommy (the manager) worked directly with our photographer, Samantha, to help set everything up even before we arrived for our engagement photo shoot. Samantha told us how wonderful he was to work with, and she was absolutely right. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and immediately felt welcome. The bartenders created the most beautiful cocktails for us to use during our shoot--Tommy even offered to personalize one with a special message, which made it all the more meaningful. The entire staff went above and beyond: allowing us the privacy we needed, accommodating the use of bright flash photography, and being patient and kind throughout the process. Their genuine warmth made our engagement celebration and photo shoot feel incredibly special and memorable. We are so grateful to Tommy, the bartenders, the hostess, and the entire ProAbition team. Thank you for helping make such an important moment in our lives absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!

Good-looking and clean restaurant. Found the food to be decent but the service was atrocious. Employees seemed to be more interested in having conversations with each other than serving the customers. We were seated at the bar in the beginning and received no acknowledgment from the staff at the bar. They kept looking at us but were not saying a word, and it was extremely awkward. Was later moved to the table but that didn't change much. My table was forgotten about and I had to physically confront the server to get a bill because we were tired of waiting.

Waitress was really nice! I was disappointed in the food. The chorizo was non existent, it's like they fry the potato in chorizo oil, did not get actual pieces of the meat! so basically it's a bean/potato sope for $18 not worth it.

It was ok. It's a bit pricy for mediocre food. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and a sparkling water for $32. It was the priciest salad I've ever had However, service was great and the people there were very attentive.

Had brunch here for the 1st time and vibes were lively and positive... loved that they had music and plenty of places to sit indoors or outdoors. The waiter was very friendly and when he mentioned a Bloody Mary bar I was sold ! I was able to have it with tequila instead of vodka which was even better !! The mix was excellent and being able to add different toppings like olives, pickles, onions and my favorite bacon! Just wish it was an all you can drink Bloody Mary bar hahaha .... I ordered the Birria chilaquiles and it was delicious! The sauce, chips, meat ratio was just right and the Birria was soft and flavorful. I just got a lot more fatty pieces than I'd like but my husband had less and he still liked it. Overall good experience and would come Back again.

first time here and i can tell you the drinks are over priced. In my honest opinion. $18 for a espresso martini ? all their signature cocktails are $18 and above. You can access their menu via a QR code. decently decorated. it has a modern infusion of jazz bar with bright and bold colors. dark theme atmosphere. service was okay, noting that would blow your mind. you can tell this a a popular place simply because of the aesthetic this gives. i heard this place becomes a club after certain hours. they do have a DJ playing in the other room. They do have a cover charge just so you're aware.

I came for dinner with a couple of colleagues while we were in Riverside for a work conference. The atmosphere was fun and our server, Esme, was wonderful. She was attentive and kind and didn't hesitate when we asked about splitting our check because we each needed to provide our documents for travel reimbursement. Everything was delicious and servicebcouldbt have been better. Thank you to Esme!

Very cool looking place. The food was ok but only barely ok for the price. The staff was friendly but forgot about our table a lot and it wasn't even busy. Not a bad experience but also not great.

This place was amazing. The restaurant had such a great feel, the decor was amazing, the bar was super cool and I loved them live DJ playing music. The service was great, we were seated pretty quickly, despite it being a busy labor day weekend. Our food was delicious. Full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I would definitely go there again. The only reason for the 4 stars and not the 5, is because the bathrooms do not fit the rest of the ambiance. They are small, outdated and kind of dirty. I was very unimpressed.

STOP SCROLLING AND GO NOW!! This is THE PLACE for BRUNCH inn Riverside! With its cool 20s speakeasy vibe, eclectic music combining old school, Espanol rock and hip hop, this place is a winner. The big surprise is the AMAZING FOOD!! Warmly welcomed by Brendan, we asked him about his favorites, and he was soooo right. The Quesabirria and birria chilaquiles were AMAZING!! There's no skimping here. It was enough meat in each plate for several people and every bite was equally delicious. The extra sauce to dip in was the best. And their hot sauce was just the right amount of spicy and flavor. My man said these were the BEST chilaquiles ever. I have to say the same for my Quesabirria. Everything was sooooo good we ate every bite, and somehow managed to finish off a piece of yummy toffee crumble cake too. If it sounds like I'm raving about ProAbition, it's because I am. As a carnivore I even ate things I don't. Phenomenal food, awesome service and a great feel - a trifecta win indeed. Next time we have to try dinner. I hear their steaks are even better. PS. They are kitty corner to the Mission Inn Hotel so it's easy to find.

The food is solid. The drinks are awesome, especially if you manage to meet up with Tommy who knows a ton about literally any cocktail varietal! We did the tuna, ceasar salad and some cheesecake and loved every second of it!

Came here with a group of about 10 women to celebrate a friend's birthday for brunch on a Saturday. I haven't been here since it initially opened years ago so I was quite impressed with all of the improvements from the inside decor to the food itself along with the service. We had a great time celebrating my friend with some amazing food & service. We all pretty much either had chilaquiles or avocado toast and of course champagne for mimosas. They do provide you with a selection of juices to add to your mimosas including orange, pineapple, and cranberry juices. Our server Kaitlin did an excellent job at attending to us. We were seated inside with a clean environment considering it was almost 100 degrees outside and they likely had a night club the night prior. The one star removed was just because I thought that a birthday celebration would have came with a complimentary dessert, we were given the option of either cheesecake or shots... So I went with the cheesecake because I figured my friend loves cheesecake and I assumed it would be complimentary but when we got our check we realized it wasn't. They did bring out the big sign and large candles to celebrate her & sing happy birthday. The overall experience was great and I do recommend you give it a try!

What Prohibition is running is less a restaurant experience and more a bait and switch, dressed up as an event. My girlfriend and I attended their themed party two weekends ago -- in full costume -- because the flyer explicitly promised a "$500 prize" for the best costume. We spent time, money, and effort showing up for what we thought was a well-organized event. Instead, we walked into confusion and misdirection. No one on staff even seemed to know a contest existed until a server escalated the question to someone named Melissa, who eventually confirmed I'd won. She took my information and promised to follow up the next day about the prize. That was the start of two full weeks of evasive behavior, unanswered messages, changing pickup details, and one absurd excuse after another. Each time I tried to finalize details, I was met with a new story -- including one employee saying the contact person "no longer works here." When I finally called out the inconsistency, Melissa became defensive and unprofessional. I then reached out to the supposed owner, Danny, expecting a level of accountability. Instead, he distanced himself entirely -- claiming he's not really involved in the operations of the business he publicly lists as his own on LinkedIn, and that he was "traveling abroad" and couldn't be bothered to deal with the issue. His solution? He directed me back to the very person whose disrespectful behavior had prompted me to reach out in the first place. Let's call this what it is: false advertising to get people in the door, followed by an utter lack of accountability when confronted. The "contest" was clearly nothing more than a marketing ploy to lure paying guests with no real intent to deliver on the promise. Any business that promotes events, collects contact information, and then dodges their own commitments operates in bad faith. And any owner who refuses to take ownership of that behavior shows you exactly what kind of culture he's running. In short, if the ownership doesn't seem to care about their business, why should we?

Absolutely amazing service from bartender Francisco. We sat at the bar while waiting for our table. When we moved he brought out our food and even swapped out my friends wine for one she preferred more. He was great. The food was delicious and the patio was so cute. Heaters were perfect for the cold evening. Great night here.

Great ambiance! Food was great. Service has always been good here. Sundays they have a DJ that plays all the best music. Celebrated birthday's here and have always enjoyed my time.

We stayed at the Mission Inn on Sunday night and walked around looking for a dinner spot. ProAbition said they could seat us right away but on the patio. No biggie as they had heaters and we were dressed warm. Hostesses were very sweet and pleasant. Once seated we didn't have a server for at least 15 min or so. We had to flag someone down to order drinks. When our server came we ordered food at the Same time. Drinks took another 7-8 min to get. We ordered 3 sodas and one vodka soda.. Our server had 3 other tables on the patio. He came back at one point to tell us they didn't have the lettuce for a wedge salad. Only Romaine lettuce. Weird...but it was a 12 year old who ordered the wedge so she was fine with romaine. My classic sliders came bleeding on the plate. I don't mind medium cooked meat but this was medium rare ish. Had to send them back to be cooked a little longer. We never got refills on drinks or were even asked for them. Disappointed in our overall dining experience. On a good note-I think the decor and ambiance is cool. Everyone working there seemed pleasant but clearly management isn't great. Or communication? I've worked at restaurants before. If you are busy you don't keep seating people to sit and wait. You let your manager know so the hostess can start a waitlist. Better communication amongst this restaurant staff would be key

We decided to try this place for my birthday. Made reservations on Open Table. For a Tuesday 5pm this place was not busy so we were able to just walk in early. Since it's next to the Mission Inn we knew it would be busy later in the evening. Inside was very bright and trendy. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Janice M was great. Told her it was my birthday and was very sweet. Food and drinks were good with the exception of my husband's mash potatoes, it was cold. After dinner I was pleasantly surprised when Janice and staff came over with a HUGE sign with HBday and our dessert had a massive torch like candle on it and they sang HBdayto me. I was so caught of guard and didn't get a video. We enjoyed it very much. Definitely will come back. Thank you for making my birthday very rememberable.

Came to ProAbition for R&B brunch and it was a good time. The vibes were great and so was the service. The food not so much.... I ordered the chicken and waffles and my waffles were severely dehydrated I was only able to tolerate one piece and the rest ended up in the trash, a total waste. The chicken was good and the parm fries were AMAZING. If you're hungry don't come here - unless you only want to eat French fries and Brussels sprouts because this is my second time here and highly disappointed in the food especially since their prices are pretty inflated. Overall food 5/10 atmosphere 9/10 service 10/10
