Decent coffee, great atmosphere — but the service needs serious work.
Prodigy has a lot going for it: the coffee is solid, and the space itself is bright, clean, and inviting. It’s the kind of place you’d want to sit and enjoy a cup or get some work done — in theory.
Unfortunately, the experience is soured by the service. In hospitality, the keyword is hospitality. A warm greeting, a simple smile, or even a friendly “how’s your day going?” can make all the difference. What I experienced instead was cold, disinterested staff who barely acknowledged I was there. No eye contact, no engagement, and certainly no effort to make me feel welcome.
It’s hard to fully enjoy the coffee and ambiance when the human element is lacking. A café is more than just beans and décor — it’s about connection and creating a welcoming environment. If Prodigy can bring that same energy to their customer service as they do to their branding and space, this place could easily become a favorite.
Until then, it’s an okay stop — but not a memorable one.
