Stopped in for beer & dinner in early October and was pleasantly surprised. Had excellent steak dinner, really good local beer and super local digestives (Juttertje). The ladies running the bar were fabulous, friendly and helpful.

Not as prominent location compared to the Dutch pancake co. Still pretty easy to locate. The staffs are friendly and the restaurant is cosy. We are surprise to find spring roll here. Our 1st time trying mustard soup and it is surprisingly good. Love cheese fritters and the hotdogs too.

Great service and so many great beers on tap here! Had a party of 6 and they were able to accommodate all of us nicely. Most of my party ordered the schnitzel and myself order the steak and fries. All the food was delicious! Definitely would recommend after a long day of walking around Zaans Schans!!

the place, food and atmosphere, are great. The staff was extra accommodating and very polite Beer Affligem 0.0 it has a great taste and zero alcohol Then you can take a stroll from there to see the zaanda the wind mills and the cheese factories

Very nice bar /cafe with great service. Ha d to try some of the local Beers. Very nice a cosy place. And close to the old mill.

Just stopped in here on a whim after a quick train ride over to see the windmills. Great food and service, we asked for a beer suggestion and she brought us Texels which we loved! Would definitely stop in again if I'm ever lucky enough to be back here.

I waited 45 minutes for two slices of toast. Waiting 45 minutes for two slices of toast at a place I came to visit was truly ridiculous. When I asked the waiter, he said this was normal and that everyone was waiting. I think future customers should consider the service speed and come here.

Amazing place to eat delicious, and have a beer. Everything was delicious… For me… I had the best hot dog I ever had in my life. Super friendly staff.

This pub is a short walk on the other side of the bridge from Zaanse Schanse windmills. The service was friendly and it offered Dutch food. I tried the Dutch split pea soup, which was flavorful and hearty. Hubby and I also had the Bitterballen. The server could not fully explain what bitterballen was, but we tried it and thought they were tasty. Good place to rest and refuel after spending a day at Zaanse Schase.

Poor. Hate giving bad reviews, but service was terrible even for Dutch standards, food was bad and to top it off way overpriced. The only positive was that they had outdoor seating and the day was nice. We went with a party of 6 and waited over 15 minutes in drinks after they were ordered. It took about 1 hrs for the sandwiches to come out. Never got the mustard, additional plate or napkins that I asked for. Highly recommend that you stay away from this place.
